preface
Qingcheng Mountain is worthy of being the first of the most famous Taoist mountains in China. During the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhang Daoling made a missionary here and founded China's local religion-Taoism.
Before and after this, many famous people lived in seclusion here.
It was not until I personally stepped on this sacred mountain that my soul was completely washed by its empty valley and tranquility.
"Madam is so clear, but her heart is troubled; her heart is so calm, but she wants to hold her."
"Let your desire calm down, clarify your heart and clarify your spirit."
Qingcheng Mountain is undoubtedly an excellent place to "express your desire".
Yuanming Palace| If people can always be quiet, heaven and earth will return
I have stayed in too many hotels and inns, but this is the first time I have stayed in a Taoist temple.
Yuanming Palace, a Taoist temple in the undeveloped area of Qingcheng Mountain, is located in the gentle slope valley halfway up the mountain in front of Qingcheng Mountain. There are not many guest rooms here, most of which are tourists who come to climb mountains and cultivate on weekends. The guest rooms are only a dozen steps away from the main hall, which houses the Supreme Lord and the Taoist Mother.
There were originally four halls, but they were damaged in the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008. Therefore, the site has not been designated as a development area of Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area. The two back halls have not been repaired due to lack of state funding and insufficient funds. They are all broken eaves and residual tiles.
There is also a scripture copying room in Yuanming Palace, which should have been copied by the Taoist priest. (Taoist characters are so good)
Qingcheng mountainYuanming Palace is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and there is a terrace facing the valley where you can practice, meditate and enlightenment.
Get up in the morning and sit on the terrace, watch the green smoke slowly rise from the mountains, return to heaven and earth, and practice nature.
Yuanming Palace
The food in Yuanming Palace is very simple but very delicious. Perhaps because it is located in Sichuan, a few simple stir-fried dishes are very good for the meal. And almost every meal has my favorite twice-cooked pork, and rice soup that I haven't tasted for a long time.
There is a small vegetable field behind the Yuanming Palace and chickens are also raised. The local eggs are particularly fragrant. However, meat and other seasonings need to be transported up from the mountain. Although there are cars, the mountain roads are rugged and expensive, so eating here is a bit expensive, at 40 yuan per meal. In the form of a buffet of rice from a big pot, you can go into the kitchen and scoop it up at will.
Every day after dinner, my senior brother will lead everyone to practice on the platform at the gate of Yuanming Palace. Baduanjin, Wuqin Opera, Tai Chi... This is the life I aspire to, putting down my mobile phone to cultivate my own character.
When I was going up the mountain, I asked my senior brother: "Are you all believers in Taoism?"
Senior Brother: "Sort of."
Me: "Then can you draw charms?"
Senior Brother: "It seems that you don't know much about Taoism. Taoism is now divided into two sects, the Quan Zhen Sect and the Zheng Yi Sect. The one who draws symbols is the Zheng Yi Sect, and we are the Quan Zhen Sect and pay attention to the cultivation of inner and outer Dan."
Me: "Then do you all have Core Formation?"
Senior Brother: "... At first glance, you must have read too many fantasy novels. Inner core refers to the cultivation of human essence, qi, and spirit."
Me: "Ah, so that's what it is."
It turns out that Taoism does not teach about forming pills.
The mule pulling goods at the door. (Someone else's family is not a mule from Yuanming Palace)
Qingcheng mountainThe blue cat raised by the Taoist priest will run over and sit on your lap during dinner.
Qingcheng Mountain Qingcheng Day| Enlightenment between mountains and riversFor sightseeing in the Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area, my route of action is relatively small. I walked the mountain road for 20 minutes from Yuanming Palace halfway up the mountain to Ciyun Pavilion near the top of the mountain, and then entered the scenic area with a replacement ticket.
Go up from Ciyun Pavilion, pass through Shangqing Palace, and reach Laojun Pavilion, the highest point of Qingcheng Mountain.
Then go down the mountain from the other side of Laojun Pavilion and pass through various Taoist temples. Finally, pass through Yuecheng Lake to the entrance of the cableway up the mountain. Take the cableway up the mountain and return to Ciyun Pavilion, and then go down the mountain along the path back to Yuanming Palace.
The path from Yuanming Palace to Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area is paved with irregular large stones. Although it is difficult to walk, the air is fresh. I can hear the chirping of insects and birds in nature, and every nerve in it can be relaxed.
Qingcheng mountainQingcheng mountainOccasionally, a stream flows by the roadside.
Qingcheng mountainThe first place you visit after entering the scenic area is Ciyun Pavilion, with brightly colored murals very conspicuous.
Qingcheng mountainGo up through Ciyun Pavilion and you will find Shangqing Palace.
Shangqing Palace was built in the Jin Dynasty, and the existing temples were built during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. Laojun Hall honors Taishang Laojun, Chunyang Ancestral Master and Sanfeng Ancestral Master. It has a statue of Lao Tzu and a 5,000-word woodcut of Tao Te Jing.
There is a small pond called Tianshi Chi next to the Shangqing Palace. There is a frog with an open mouth in the pond. Many people throw coins into its mouth. I took out the only coin I had and threw it in. Unexpectedly, it hit!
The plaque of "Shangqing Palace" is a handwritten calligraphy by Chiang Kai-shek in 1940, and the joint article is a book written by Yu Youren.
Qingcheng mountainQingcheng mountainShe asked for a blessing bag at Shangqing Palace and gave me an apple.
Qingcheng mountainContinue climbing the mountain road from the other side of Shangqing Palace to reach Laojun Pavilion, the highest point of Qingcheng Mountain.
Laojun Pavilion is located at the top of the first peak in Qingcheng, with an altitude of 1260 meters. There is an original echo pavilion on the top, which means "when you climb a mountain, all mountains respond." In the late 1980s, pavilions were renovated and built. After the destruction of the "5.12" earthquake in 2008, the reconstruction pavilion is 33 meters high and has a total of nine floors. It is round at the bottom and has octagonal on the floor, symbolizing the round sky and the square earth, and the Tai Chi Eight Trigrams; the exterior is in the shape of a tower, with a sharp tip, and a pile of three round treasures in the middle, implying the three talents of heaven, earth and man.
Standing in Laojun Pavilion overlooking.
Qingcheng mountainAt a glance, the mountains are small.
Qingcheng mountainQingcheng mountainGo down the mountain from the other side of Laojun Pavilion and pass Chaoyang Cave. The entrance of the cave faces due east. Huang Yunge, a Qing Dynasty man, once lived here with a coat and wrote a couplet saying: "The sky is far away and the red sun is near, and the earth is wide and the palace is wide." Modern painter Xu Beihong also wrote a couplet here: "The hollow welcomes the light shines brightly, and the phoenix comes when the cliff is blue."
Qingcheng mountainThe Ancestral Hall is located at a fork in the downhill route and requires a round-trip trip from the original road, which is about 1.2 kilometers each way.
Qingcheng mountainThe Ancestral Hall was founded in the Tang Dynasty. Poets Du Guangting and Xue Chang of the Tang Dynasty and Zhang Yu of the Song Dynasty lived here in seclusion.
Princess Yuzhen, the daughter of Emperor Ruizong of the Tang Dynasty, also practiced cultivation here.
Because it is not on the main line of tourist routes, the environment of the temple is more peaceful.
Not far after coming out of the Ancestral Hall is the "Pen Throwing Groove". The crack groove runs from the top of the rock to the foot of the mountain. It is about 70 meters deep and about 18 meters wide. The two rocks are broken and face a deep valley.
"Notes of Scenic Places in Central Sichuan" quotes the "Picture of the True Forms of the Five Mountains" as follows: "At the Dragon Bridge, the two mountains are more than a hundred steps away. The peaks and peaks face each other, and rocks are hanging on both sides, overlooking unforeseen events. There is an oath stone beside the mountain, and the celestial teacher Zhang Daoling swore an oath with the ghost soldiers."
He ordered the devil king not to harm the people anymore. Zhu wrote the mountains and his handwriting turned into grooves, leaving behind miracles.
In ancient times, wooden frames were used to fly between them, which made people's hearts tremble. Later, walls were dug into the rocks to form a channel, with stone railings placed next to it.
Here, you can see Dan Rock above your head and overlook the deep valley. The scenery is very dangerous and it is called Pianqiao.
After passing the pen throwing slot and continuing down the mountain, you will find Tianshi Cave.
Tianshi Cave was built during the Daye Period of the Sui Dynasty. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces ravines on one side. The existing temple was built in the late Qing Dynasty.
It is said that Zhang Daoling once taught here in the late Eastern Han Dynasty.
After coming out of Tianshi Cave, the sky began to clear up.
Qingcheng mountainQingcheng mountainQingcheng mountainThe last temple I came to was the "Quanzhen Temple". Although the altitude is not high, the view is wide.
Qingcheng mountainQingcheng mountainQingcheng mountainThe Seven Truths Hall honors Qiu Chuji and other seven ancestors who founded the Quanzhen Taoism Sect. They are the seventh sons of Wang Chongyang, the founder of Quanzhen Taoism, and are awarded the title of real people, collectively known as the "Seven Truths of Quanzhen Taoism".
Qingcheng mountainI asked for a lot at Quanzhen Temple and worshipped a lamp. This was the first time I got a lot.
My senior brother said that I would definitely go back, but I didn't believe it at the time.
Nearly four months have passed since the lot request was made, and many things have happened in the four months. Looking back on my senior brother's words and interpretation of the lot at that time, he is quite accurate. Two days ago, I dreamed of going back to make my wish.
Finally, I took the cable car up the mountain and returned to Yuanming Palace.

Qingchengshan snacks| It's delicious anywhere
After staying in the mountains for a week, he couldn't hold it anymore and decided to go down the mountain to find food. The Urban area of Qingcheng Mountain is not large, and the most famous snack is this Zhang glutinous rice cake, which only accepts cash.
I ordered too much and couldn't finish it. I packed the brown sugar glutinous rice cake.
Liuji Beef Noodle Restaurant, on Yaowang Road not far from Zhang Laozao, is an ordinary local shop with a unique taste.
On the way from Zhang glutinous rice to beef noodles, I passed by a stewed duck house. Thinking that the local stewed duck was famous, I bought it, but the result was extremely bad. The duck meat was stuffed with pepper, which was so numb that it was bitter and difficult to swallow.
