From Jiangnan to Southwest, the plane took only two and a half hours to land at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. A familiar feeling came to your face.

After getting off the plane, I took a taxi and headed straight to this city inn near Kuanzhai Alley.

City Inn is affiliated to OCT Hotels Group and is an economic chain boutique hotel. For some reason, I like these four words very much. I always feel that these four words are very warm when I am in a strange city.

The hotel is located on Jinhe Road, facing the street from Kuanzhai Alley, the most complete and relatively large-scale ancient Qing Dynasty road preserved in Chengdu. It is adjacent to landmark buildings such as Tianfu Square, People's Park, and Municipal Museum to the east, and to Dufu Cottage and Qintai Road to the west., Qingyang Palace, Wuhou Temple, Jinli Bashu Folk Pedestrian Street and other scenic spots.

It was precisely because of the excellent location that I stayed here for the first night of my trip.

When staying here, it is very convenient to visit the wide and narrow alleys across the street or to People's Park which is a little further away.

The lobby is very interesting, with long seats serving as a seating area. You can sit and wait if you encounter peak room check-in periods or when you are waiting for someone. The large floor-to-ceiling mirror directly opposite not only meets the psychological needs of girls to love beauty and look in the mirror, but also visually expands the area, making the entire lobby look very open.

The overall layout and decoration of the lobby is also very interesting. The blown oil paper umbrella gives me a gentle Jiangnan style. On the shelf directly opposite the room, there are books to read and some small items with Zen meaning, such as tea sets, gramophones, etc.

When I returned to Sichuan, I didn't have to worry about not having delicious food at all. I was satisfied to order a few dishes. The hotel's meals are relatively home-cooked, which suits our appetites very well. This crispy dish is fragrant and crispy, and is very delicious.
