Rongchang is located in the western part of Chongqing, at the border of Sichuan and Chongqing provinces. It is an important gateway to the western part of Chongqing and has a long history of development. It has been known as the "Fragrant Country of Haitang" since ancient times, and the Haitang Square in the city also uses this name. Rongchang is about 100 kilometers away from the main city and has Rongchang Railway Station and High speed Railway Station, connecting to Neijiang. It is very convenient for both passengers and drivers.
Starting from the main city and entering the Chengdu Chongqing Expressway, passing through the Jiulong Yongchuan Rongchang main city exit highway, the entire journey is about 90 kilometers long. The road conditions are good, and you can see tourist signs right off the highway. Not far away is Wanli Ancient Town in Lukong Town. As soon as you enter the ancient town, you can feel a sense of antiquity and historical vicissitudes
Amidst the misty rain and mist, pedestrians leisurely stroll along the old street, smiling and peaceful. I truly love the living atmosphere of the ancient town!
There are many historical relics in the small town, such as the Zhao Clan Ancestral Hall, Erya Academy, Huguang Guild Hall, and Chastity House, which have a great historical charm and are worth savoring carefully. In addition, I also saw a particularly interesting sculpture group that popularized the events of the exploitation and migration of the lower class working people in history. It reminded me of the sculpture exhibition in our school's art museum, which has a similar theme. However, if you are interested in history, seeing such works will always stand for a long time.
Not far from the city center is the hometown of Changzhou, located on the banks of the Laixi River in Rongchang. The historical and cultural landscape of Rongchang here is a "Ming and Qing style ancient street" that integrates eco-tourism, landscape corridors, historical culture, local cuisine, and residential hotels.
There are many restaurants next to the ancient town, so you have to try Rongchang braised goose. The taste is very good, and you can take one with you before leaving. Not far away is Haitang Park, and the surrounding commercial area is bustling, which is really good. In addition, there are also ancient Foshan Mountain in the south of Rongchang, Luocan Mountain in the middle, and Tonggu Mountain in the north, all of which are good places to go on weekends. If you have time, you can go and play more.
It takes over an hour to drive from Rongchang to Neijiang, known as the "hometown of Chinese calligraphy and painting art". After enjoying the famous painter and foodie Mr. Zhang Daqian's delicious noodle snack, Neijiang beef noodles, after a full meal, you can take a good look at the beautiful night scenery of Neijiang when night falls.
After a night of rest, I had to go and see the "landmark of Mr. Daqian's birthplace" and walk deep into the Banpojing alley, climbing up the high stone staircase. After more than 40 steps, on the right-hand side, there is a layout of bluestone gray walls and jujube red stone carvings. Under several banana trees, there is also a "well". This is the original birthplace of Zhang Daqian, a newly constructed cultural landmark in Neijiang.
After visiting the birthplace of Mr. Zhang Daqian, coming out is the People's Park of Neijiang City, where the General Yu Peilun Memorial Hall is located. Yu Peilun made great contributions to the Chinese revolutionary cause, and Mr. Sun Yat sen gave him high praise and posthumously awarded him the title of "General". You can enter the museum to learn more about the life of General Yu Peilun. After leaving the park, walk towards the direction of the city government for about 5 minutes to reach the Xianglong Mountain Cliff Carvings. Statues and stone carvings are located on the cliffs in Shanxi Province. There are currently 61 niches of statues, with 368 statues of various sizes, ranging from 8 meters high to just a few centimeters small. Nine cliff inscriptions have been preserved. The carving of Xianglong Mountain cliff statues began in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Song Dynasty, and extended to the Ming and Qing Dynasties; This mountain is named after the inscription "Xianglong Mountain" by Wang Sanxi, a Ming Dynasty scholar and salt transport historian, and is a key cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province.
There is also a very famous scenic spot in Neijiang - Huanghe Lake National 4A Tourist Attraction. The attractions include the South Sichuan Grassland, Shangteng New Village, Shangteng Calligraphy and Painting Art Park, Huanghe Lake National Fishing Base, Western Ornamental Fish Base, and Light Water Dance Show. Entering from the tourist reception center of the scenic spot, the first thing you see is the Huanghe Lake National Fishing Base, which also holds fishing competitions. Shangteng Calligraphy and Painting Art Park has studios of more than 10 well-known domestic calligraphy and painting artists such as Chen Eryun and Chen Guangyun. You can experience the rich local calligraphy and painting culture on site. Entering the east gate of the South Sichuan Grassland from Shangteng New Village, you can ride your horse and whip on the South Sichuan Grassland and gallop on the grassland. If you don't have time to go to the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, you can come here and enjoy it.
After dinner, as the sky darkened slightly, a light and water dance show was about to take place in front of the Eight Teachers Square in Shangteng New Village, which was very exciting.
After visiting the scenic area, you can drive to Zigong, which is only a 40 minute drive away. You can rest for a night or also visit the city area. It has high entertainment value and is known as the "Millennium Salt City", "Dinosaur Town", "Southern Lantern City", and "Food City". The entertainment value is really unique. When it comes to the 'Millennium Salt City', many people may say to visit the Salt Industry History Museum, but I want to take it to Shenhaijing to see. The character 'Shen' in 'Shen Hai Jing', pronounced as' shen ', means' vigorous', and the wood is burned with great fire. In fact, this is also a method of making salt in ancient times: using fire to dry salt brine and crystallize salt. This well is the world's first deep well over 1000 meters long, which took 13 years to drill since the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. There is a small live performance here, called "live action drama" according to the popular saying in tourist areas nowadays. Of course, the performers here are not hired from other scenic spots to perform, but real salt workers who actually burn salt.
Afterwards, go play in the 'Dinosaur Town'. The two attractions are very close, and we will soon reach the Zigong Global Geopark. This is an expansion of a large archaeological museum built on site at the world-renowned "Dashanpu Dinosaur Fossil Site". The entrance of the dinosaur museum has a unique feature: it is shaped like a large long necked dragon, and some of the dinosaur fossils here have been preserved in a row on site during excavation. Of course, there are also many assembled products that look more intuitive. The largest dinosaur fossil here is over ten meters high,
From the "Land of Dinosaurs", you can order a bowl of tofu pudding for 3-5 yuan, and ask for a "beef steamer" if you want to eat meat. Rice is usually eaten casually. Diners pick up a piece of tender tofu pudding and dip it in the "dip water" made of chili sauce, sesame powder, agastache and other ingredients. It is fragrant, hot, fresh, tender and smooth. It is sure to open your appetite, and you can also taste the local famous Dishes of Salt School.
Zigong Lantern Park, founded in 1930, was originally called "Fuxi Park" and renamed "Huisheng Park" in 1941. In 1950, it was renamed as "Zigong People's Park". In 1988, with the approval of the Municipal Party Committee and Government, it was renamed as "Zigong Lantern Park". There is an "Art China" in the Lantern Park, which I think is the most artistic leisure place in Zigong City. If you're tired from playing, you can go there to have tea, experience the leisurely and slow pace of Sichuan, appreciate the calligraphy and paintings of famous artists, and if you're interested, you can also express your emotions with your own brush
In the evening, you can visit the most famous Zigong Lantern Festival in the local area, which is held from the Spring Festival to March every year. The theme is different every year, and the visibility is particularly high. When the lights are fully turned on at 6:30, the effect is immediately stunning. I especially like the ceramic area, the auspicious dragon and phoenix, the Chinese music, the blue and white porcelain vases, and the opening and closing peonies. It's truly exquisite and gorgeous. Colorful festive shapes are everywhere, and suspended ceilings have been installed above each road, each with its own unique and distinctive features. Various shots, lingering without wanting to return. Unfortunately, when I finally arrived home to organize the pictures, I found that there were still many beautiful scenery that had been missed, but there were also a lot of people, as expected.
The most important event of this trip is the lantern festival.
The next day, we departed for Luzhou and drove for an hour and a half. The transportation was also very convenient, and as soon as we entered Luzhou, we felt that the city was very clean. It is said to be one of the national health cities. Luzhou is very famous for its wine.
Go to the first attraction - Luzhou Laojiao Cellar. Luzhou Laojiao, with a history of over 400 years, is also known as China's first cellar. As soon as you enter the park, you can smell the strong aroma of alcohol. Friends who love drinking must not miss this place. In the park, there is a Longquan well, which is very special and has excellent water quality. The brewing of Guojiao 1573 uses the water from the bottom of this well. Next, we will visit the 1573 National Cellar Class, where the aroma of wine is overflowing. You can also see the process of brewing on site, and even birds fly in to eat the grain used for brewing, which is very interesting. Next, you can visit the exhibition on the history of wine culture, where you can see the entire brewing process of Luzhou Laojiao and witness the treasure of the town hall, the "Qilin Warm Wine Vessel". In addition to these, tourists can also see various precious wines from Luzhou Laojiao, watch wine culture ceremonies and performances. Visitors not only have good eyesight but also good taste, and can enjoy free wine tasting here. Remember not to be greedy!
At Laojiao Business School, you can personally experience brewing by blending Luzhou Laojiao from different years in different proportions to achieve different tastes. We recommend wine culture enthusiasts to definitely go here.
Next, go to the east gate to see Siberian red billed gulls. If you want to see seagulls, you don't have to go to Kunming Dianchi Lake anymore. There are flocks of seagulls outside the east gate, and they are not afraid of people at all. By the way, next to the east gate is the Luzhou Internet celebrity airplane dam parking lot. Parking is free during the day and overnight is said to only cost a few yuan, which is very cheap. After watching the seagulls, you can enter along the east gate and walk for a few minutes to reach the White Pagoda of Luzhou, also known as the Gratitude Tower by locals. This is considered a landmark attraction in Luzhou. There are many night markets and snacks around Bao'en Tower, and Shuijinggou Pedestrian Street is also here, which is quite lively. We recommend everyone to come and take a stroll in the afternoon and evening.
Arriving here, I also discovered that the people of Luzhou are very delicious. There are restaurants everywhere, so there is no need to worry about not having a place to eat. Spicy space, this is a local brand of hot pot in Luzhou. The bottom of the clear oil pot is said to be less prone to overheating. I go around 7 o'clock and there are a lot of people. Business is particularly good. The environment and service are both good, and the taste is also decent. Recommend 1-meter beef, with a unique style. After dinner, I went to check in at the Jiucheng Amusement Park, Wanxiang City, and Jiale Golden Street in Jiangyang District. These are all landmark buildings and commercial districts in Jiangyang District, which are very helpful for understanding the city of Luzhou.
Luzhou is not only famous for its Luzhou Laojiao, but also for its water and oil paper umbrellas. Fenshui oil paper umbrella is also a national intangible cultural heritage. The specific location is in Fenshui Town, about a 30 minute drive from Jiangyang District. Fenshui Town has a quiet environment, and all the oil paper umbrellas are handmade. Tourists can visit the process of making oil paper umbrellas. If you like it, you can also buy one as a commemorative umbrella on site. Near Fenshui Town, there is also the Umbrella Ancient Town, which is a newly built leisure place with a good environment. Unfortunately, it rained that day and there were not many people. Interested friends can go and take a look.
Next, I will go to Fangshan. As soon as I arrived in Luzhou, many friends recommended that I must go. Fangshan is 22 kilometers away from Luzhou, and cars can drive to the foot of the mountain. The most famous one in Fangshan is the Black faced Guanyin, which is said to be very effective. Every year, many people come here to worship and pray for blessings. Finally, I recommend the internet famous library in Jiangyang District, Luzhou. This is my last stop. The library is of a public welfare nature, and everything is free. Borrowing books is free, internet access is free, and there is also a free VR experience room. The environment is really great. I recommend everyone to take a look.
