The concept of co breeding varieties, co building brands, and co marketing products will be established, and the development model of "Party branch+cooperative+farmers+rural e-commerce" will be explored; At the same time, relying on the abundant tourism resources along the Nanxi River, the "3+X" tourism development strategy has been proposed to develop a rural tourism industry that integrates fruit picking, leisure and entertainment, health and sightseeing, and agricultural experience, achieving significant results.
It is reported that Yanwo Town takes the construction of the Nanxi River Green Economy Demonstration Belt as an opportunity to fully tap into the tourism resources of the Sichuan Chongqing towns along the Nanxi River, and proposes the "3+X" rural tourism development strategy ("3" refers to the century old Duanjiayuan in Baozhensai Town, the century old Catholic Church in Yanwo Town, and the 300 year old Chenjiazhai in Qingping Town; "X" refers to the 10000 mu Daya Citrus Base and Big Cherry Base in Baozhensai; our town has 2000 mu of loquat, 500 mu of lotus flowers, waterfalls, strange stones, and a thousand mu rice field park in Qingping Town).
Yanwo God also led the first Nanxi River Green Economy Demonstration Belt Romantic Tourism Season with the Sichuan Chongqing border towns along the Nanxi River. Each month, the relevant towns took the lead in organizing rural experience activities with themes such as collective weddings, seasonal fruit picking, rice field harvesting, and photography, connecting the tourism resources of Sichuan and Chongqing and igniting rural tourism along the Nanxi River.
In 2019, Yanwo Town relied on the red sweet potato industry and established the brand "Yanxiaoer" based on the village officials of college students who returned home to start businesses. In October 2019, the first Red Sweet Potato Food Culture Festival was successfully held, and "Yanxiaoer" became popular overnight.
After four years of continuous development and upgrading, "Yan Xiao Er" has expanded from a single red sweet potato brand to a regional agricultural product public brand covering more than 10 products such as red sweet potato, sweet potato powder, rattan pepper, citrus, loquat, etc. At the same time, a series of cultural products such as dolls, cultural shirts, keychains, etc., known as "Yanxiaoer", have been launched. "Yanxiaoer" has become synonymous with Yanwo Town.
As of now, Yanwo Town has developed 8000 acres of red sweet potatoes, 400 acres of rattan peppers, 2000 acres of loquat, 1000 acres of citrus, and 2000 acres of rice for "Yanxiaoer", and has also opened a sweet potato powder processing plant for "Yanxiaoer". Since the establishment of the "Yan Xiao Er" brand, it has accumulated more than 1 million yuan in benefits for the people, increased the income of village collective economy by over 500000 yuan, and provided more than 100 job opportunities. By building and upgrading the "Yanxiaoer" brand, we have promoted the scale and standardization of industrial development in Yanwo Town, enhanced the visibility and reputation of agricultural products in Yanwo Town, opened up sales channels for agricultural products, and increased the added value of agricultural products.

Yanwo Town invested 2 million yuan in Hongdou Village to build Hongdou Xiaoyuan, which embodies the villagers' longing for a better life. Through the renovation of the rural environment, the farmhouses were uniformly painted in color, and tens of thousands of high-quality flowers such as hydrangeas and roses were planted. The Yanwo Town Rural Exhibition Hall, Yanxiao'er Tea Restaurant, and Qingcun Tea House were also built. As a key rural tourism demonstration point in the town, it is also a demonstration point for the integrated development of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries. Since its opening, it has received thousands of tourists.
It is reported that in order to continue building the brand, Yanwo Town will implement a monthly planning of tourism experience activities, accelerate the development of characteristic foods such as Red Tiao Banquet, Vine Pepper Banquet, and Lotus Root Banquet, and provide tourism supporting services.
In order to facilitate shopping for tourists, the town has also opened an online store called "Yan Xiao Er" on Taobao and a physical store called "Yan Xiao Er" in Hongdou Xiaoyuan, implementing online and offline sales of agricultural products in the area and driving consumption in agriculture, rural areas and farmers. By taking romantic photos, picking seasonal fruits, enjoying healthy sweet potato banquets, and admiring rural scenery as standard features of local rural tourism, we aim to enrich the characteristics of rural tourism while achieving the new goal of rural revitalization with multiple benefits, including increased grain production, increased efficiency for large households, prosperity for farmers, and collective income growth.
