Shennong Gorge Drifting, the first place for summer drifting

In summer, drifting is a cool and exciting way to travel. I have also played many other water activities, but when it comes to summer, drifting is still my first choice. This time in Nanchuan, Chongqing, it is not surprising that I chose Shenlong Gorge drifting.

The Shenlong Gorge Scenic Area has a very large area and preserves many of the original natural scenery. Even before entering the scenic area, one can feel the refreshing breeze. In such a summer, having such a place is simply a pleasure.

Since you're here, exciting drifting is inevitable. From the moment we got on the kayak and put on our life jackets, the excitement of drifting began. We drifted downstream in the sometimes turbulent and sometimes gentle currents, performing wonderful moments in our struggle against nature, only screaming and forgetting our troubles. This is the feeling that this drifting brought me. Although it's summer, the water still feels cool on my body, it's really joyful.

The scenic spot where such a fun drifting is located is also very beautiful. The Shenlong Gorge, formed by hundreds of millions of years of crustal movement, has peaks and cliffs, birds singing and flowers blooming, and a high coverage of plants. Every breath feels like the best gift for the lungs, a journey of lung cleansing.

The green mountains on both sides of the strait are accompanied by green water, and we are gliding in a kayak in the water. The exciting shouting just now seems to still echo in our ears, and all of this is the enjoyment given by Shenlong Gorge.

Third tier hotels, open up a retro new way

In the 1960s, Jinfo Mountain, located in the Daloushan Mountains, was home to many precision instrument factories built by China's third line construction. In those factories, there are traces of our parents' life and struggle. In a factory building, there used to be an instrument factory located at the foot of Jinfo Mountain. The old staff dormitories in the original factory building were converted into a new hotel, which is now known as a "third tier hotel". Nowadays, many people come here to search for memories of their parents' generation, and now this place has become a new popular check-in spot for internet celebrities.

In third tier hotels, traces of the past can be seen everywhere, such as wooden beds, televisions, and sewing machines. It seems that everything I saw when I was a child can be found here. This themed hotel seems to divide time into two halves. The other half is the time that our parents worked hard to build, while the other side is where we travel back in time and reunite with their youth. Time never stops, the magnificent river of time has never stopped flowing. We have never participated in the time when our parents were young, but in a third tier hotel, I seem to have seen their passionate and burning years.

Jinfo Mountain provides a summer retreat, with the coolness of an 18 degree summer

Jinfoshan, formerly known as Jiudi Mountain. Renowned for its three wonders of karst world natural heritage, biodiversity, and Buddhist culture. The tourism resources are extremely abundant, with a sea of clouds, sunrise, sunset, grassland, as if all kinds of romance can be imagined. Especially in the summer of August, the average temperature here is only 18 degrees Celsius, making it a great place for summer vacation.

There is a cliff plank road climbing up the Jinfo Mountain. Walking along the plank road, various scenic spots will be in front of you, and there will always be surprises discovered during the journey. Be sure to check in at the popular ancient Buddha cave inside. I especially like the song "The Offering of Love". The lyrics of the song are as follows: "Hold you in my hand, burn incense piously, cut a candle light, light up the economic fiber, not for soul stirring, but for love... I spend my whole life to offer you..." In the ancient Buddha cave, the lights are bright or dark, and the temperature in the high altitude cave is very low. Suddenly, the Buddha in the cave can only make people pray piously. In addition to mountains, rivers, dams, and caves, there are also various Buddha statues and Arhat in the cave. After coming out of the ancient Buddha Cave, stop and walk on the cliff plank road and don't rush down the mountain, because the best scenery is always on the road. In the evening, the sun seems to be casting a warm and lazy glow, giving all the tenderness here. The orange sun hangs in the air like salted egg yolk. Slowly, the sun shyly hid in the clouds, and the golden light shone straight out along the clouds, casting a golden border on them. The light shines on each of our faces, gentle as a pair of hands, gently touching your face. The sunset is beautiful. If only you were by my side right now, watching all the beauty in this world with me.

As the sky slowly sets, the sunset has already stirred up many memories. So, under the starry sky, sing a song quietly. I don't know if the time in the city at night is too hypocritical. I haven't seen stars for a long time, so seeing stars on Mount Jinfo feels that nature is really beautiful. We stand under the sky, blink our eyes at the stars in the sky, and each star has its own story. We hope to have a parallel world in the Milky Way, where we will be better than we are now

After coming out of Jinfo Mountain, I think I will miss Jinfo Mountain in the future, the world with mountains, water, flowers, and grass, the place where there is sunrise in the morning and starry sky in the night. Friends, come on, you will fall in love with this place just like me.

Tianxing Town, a new choice for vacation travel

The first time I saw Tianxing Town, I realized that it was different from other places in Chongqing, like a paradise on earth. The hustle and bustle of the city was isolated outside the town. Only quietness and coolness remain, this is Jinfoshan Tianxing Town. Green mountains on both sides, cool streams flowing through, the town is not big, there are really many places to play, it is a good place for vacation.

During the day, we stop and take photos to wash away the coolness of Tianxing Town from the scorching summer heat. Tianxing Town is very quiet during the day, and the sound of the distant stream can be heard clearly. We stop and go, taking photos with our phones or cameras. It's also romantic to feel like time slips away from your fingers like this. The bluestone road, with wooden houses on the side, always gives a feeling of returning to one's hometown. Intangible cultural heritage projects can be seen everywhere, with craftsmen weaving baskets, dustpans, and so on.

I have always admired people like this. No matter how noisy and bustling the outside world is, those craftsmen still maintain their original aspirations, never being disturbed by the outside world, and sticking to their craft. They are striving to inherit these intangible cultural heritage projects. In an era where everyone pursues a fast-paced lifestyle, there are almost fewer and fewer young people like them, so I sincerely praise these people from the bottom of my heart!

During the day, Tianxing Town is quiet, but at night it is romantic and charming. The brightly lit Tianxing Town is currently hosting a waterfront camping music season event. This immersive activity will drive away one's worries without a trace. In no time, I forgot about yesterday's sadness and went to have fun

When I arrived at a place, I particularly enjoyed eating local food. Chongqing has a high humidity and many dishes are filled with chili peppers. Additionally, due to its advantageous geographical location, there are numerous delicious foods. Don't miss out on delicious food even in Tianxing Town.

The square bamboo shoots in Tianxing Town are a specialty here, famous for their freshness, fragrance, and crispness. There are many people who come to eat, and they are known as the "crown of bamboo shoots" and the "king of bamboo shoots". The mysterious dishes here are all accompanied by bamboo shoots, almost like following the square bamboo shoots all over the world.

My favorite square bamboo shoots paired with lamb horns, a bright red soup pot with many lamb horns inside, full of collagen that makes people feel several years younger in one bite. The square bamboo shoots inside, as a side dish, absorb the freshness of the soup and are simply not too delicious.

I have tried braised beef noodles and spicy beef noodles, but this is the first time I have tried square bamboo bamboo shoots beef noodles. Large pieces of beef, square bamboo shoots, and red oil make the taste "cool" in one word!

The beautiful scenery of Tianxing Town has satisfied my eye satisfaction here, and the delicious food has made me reluctant to leave. This is the charm of Tianxing Town's cuisine, a reason why people never want to leave when they come.
