One option is to take a bus from Chongqing Station for over 7 hours to reach Wushan County (taking 7 hours), with a ticket price of 140 yuan.

The second option is to take a high-speed train from Chongqing North to Wanzhou, and then transfer to a bus to Wushan County (which takes 5 hours) with a ticket price of 98+67 yuan

If you want to go directly to your destination in one stop, choose the first option. If you want to save time on the road, choose the second option

Visiting the Three Gorges, must see 'Goddess of Wushan'

On the day I came, it happened to coincide with the premiere ceremony of 'Goddess of Wushan', and my heart was filled with anticipation.

The average altitude of the scenic area is about 1200 meters, and the temperature is relatively cold. It is recommended that everyone wear a thick coat before going up the mountain. The Wushan Museum in Chongqing highlights the cultural characteristics of the Wushan region, such as Longgupo culture, Daxi culture, and Wu culture, reflecting the fruitful achievements of the Three Gorges cultural relics rescue and protection. It is a public cultural and educational institution that collects, researches, and displays the historical and cultural heritage of Wushan and human environmental evidence. It is an important cultural symbol of Chongqing's eastern gate.

It is located at the intersection of Wuxia in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and Xiaosanxia in the Daning River, covering a total area of 8334 square meters. It has one basic exhibition, two special exhibitions, and one temporary exhibition, mainly including "Wushan Wushui Wu Culture", "Changhe Cultural Relics", and "Lingshan Yuxiu". There are more than 40000 cultural relics in the collection, including more than 1000 precious cultural relics, ranging from ancient stone tools more than 2 million years ago to various cultural relics from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

There are many treasures of the town hall inside that are not to be missed. The one in the picture is the white teeth of the Wushan people's jawbone, which is said to be left by the earliest humans.

This official ornament, known as the "Persimmon shaped Gilded Copper Ornament of the Western Queen Mother of the Four Spirits of the Eastern Han Dynasty", was appraised during the Eastern Han Dynasty and was identified as a first-class cultural relic by the Chongqing Cultural Relics Appraisal Group. It is 40 centimeters long, with a diameter of 1 centimeter and a thickness of 0.05 centimeters. It is a thin copper plate in the shape of a persimmon stem, with a gilded and silver surface and a circular nail hole in the middle. The shape is very unique, with a history of more than 2000 years. It is not easy to maintain such good condition.

This green glazed double ear pottery pot was unearthed from the eastern slope of Tuchengpo in Wushan County, with a diameter of 23.5cm, a belly diameter of 34.8cm, and a height of 25.2cm. Glazed pottery was invented and created during the Han Dynasty, representing the highest level of pottery craftsmanship in the Three Gorges region of the Han Dynasty. It embodies the wisdom of the working people, is a symbol of diligence, and is currently a rare cultural treasure discovered in the Three Gorges region of the Han Dynasty.

Of course, in addition to those treasures of the museum, there are too many other collections worth exploring. It is recommended to reserve about two hours for a leisurely stroll inside.
