This self driving route covers a total distance of 178 kilometers.

We started from the urban area of Nanchuan, passing through Jinshan Town, Toudu Town, Delong Town, Dayou Town, Shanwangping Town, Daguan Town... and took a big detour.

Camping together, climbing mountains, going to markets, hiking, daydreaming, playing Hida, kayaking, having afternoon tea... We met Little Finger Mountain, Candlestick Peak, Tianhu, Horse Urine Waterfall... surprises everywhere.

The key is that this road has many well-equipped hotels, homestays, and camping sites, where you can enjoy the unique fun of the journey without bringing any camping equipment.

Day 4: Jiaozishan Hotel in Dayou Town - Dayou Town Market - Passing through Xiaozhimu Mountain - Ma'nishui Waterfall - Shigulun Farmhouse Lunch - Shanwangping Shanyu Homestay& Under the Ginkgo Tree (Afternoon Tea and Camping) - Stay at Grand View Origin Hotel

Day 5: Grand View Origin Hotel - Zhonghai Lixiang Lake Swiss Style Town - Lixiang Lake Lazy Camp - Lixiang Lake Kayaking - Chongqing Main City

If this is your first time visiting Nanchuan, Chongqing, you can also leave two more days for Jinfoshan Scenic Area and Tianxing Town.

I went there last summer and it was very suitable for escaping the heat. If you go in winter, you can also see the snow and soak in hot springs. Appreciating azaleas in spring and red leaves in autumn is quite suitable for vacation all year round.

Traveling with a group of like-minded friends, leisurely self driving together, without being in a hurry. Share the room and car rental fees together, and you can also order more dishes for meals.

Two men are responsible for driving, some are responsible for setting the route, some are responsible for aerial photography, some are responsible for searching for local cuisine, and some are responsible for photography and recording.

Is this the most comfortable way of traveling?

During the May Day holiday, the main urban area of Chongqing couldn't move at all, it was crowded with people.

But during our self driving trip in Nanchuan District, we landed at the airport and rented a car, which was only an hour and a half drive to Nanchuan District. It looked completely peaceful and peaceful.

The quietness in the mountains of Nanchuan contrasts sharply with the crowding outside during the May Day holiday.

This self driving road called "Dajin Foshan 178 Ring Mountain Fun Drive" has many signs and stops along the way. The key is that all the scenery here does not require a ticket, there are no annoying regional buses, and the happiness index of self driving is particularly high.

However, the mountain road is winding and not recommended for novice drivers.

I recommend this self driving highway as a must visit checkpoint that I personally love.

Recommendation one: Nanchuan East Street

The first stop of the 178 Ring Mountain Fun Drive in Dajin Foshan is Nanchuan East Street. Experience the bustling human fireworks and various local specialty snacks.

Strolling through the cultural and tourism town of Dongjie, it feels like going back to the 1970s and 1980s.

Familiar and familiar old items, walking through old photos, are like passing through doors of time, dusty stories, vividly stepping out of our memories.

Jiefang Lane, Guanjing Lane, Datu Lane, Chengchengjie Lane, Lijiajie Lane, Raojia Lane... There are also Ferris wheels and children's playgrounds, which are also very suitable for families.

The street view of Dongjie is very beautiful every time you take a picture, with flowers blooming everywhere this season, it's really beautiful.

Recommendation 2: Liangyu Hotel Forest Hiking

On the first night, I stayed at Liangyu International Resort Hotel in Jinfoshan, Chongqing, where the mountain was very quiet. The hotel has a super beautiful infinity pool, it's really great to escape the heat in summer.

Sleep until you wake up naturally, have breakfast and go hiking in the forest to experience nature. I love this kind of stroll so much.

Recommendation 3: Barbecue at Xingxi Camping Base

We stayed at Xingxi Camping Base that afternoon and throughout the afternoon. Free from external interference, relax both body and mind, and experience the beauty of nature.

And this season in Nanchuan, the roses are in full bloom and the temperature is just right.

The barbecue package at Xingxi Camping Base is also very cost-effective.

The four person set meal is 358 yuan, the two person meal is 188 yuan, with a combination of meat and vegetables. The quantity is also large, and the quality of various meats such as pork belly, lamb chops, and beef is good.

Recommendation 4: Jinfoshan Feilada

Many friends have been to Jinfo Mountain in Chongqing, but they don't know that there is also a thrilling and exciting project called Feilada in Jinfo Mountain.

This is a highly stimulating and challenging sport that has gradually become popular in China in recent years. This outdoor activity originated from Europe and is said to have been popular in Europe for over a hundred years.

Feilada is the transliteration of Italian (Via Ferrata), a climbing track composed of steel handrails, pedals, life cables, and other components.

This is also a blood pumping activity that fully inspires people's courage and adventurous spirit. Compared to regular activities such as swimming or rock climbing, Hidada requires a higher level of safety.

The Jinfoshan Feilada route offers thrilling and exciting options, with two routes to choose from: beginner and intermediate.

The primary road is 100 meters long and has an average height of about 80 meters above the ground, making it moderately challenging. The intermediate level road has a total length of 400 meters and can reach up to 180 meters. It is equipped with popular shooting points, half moon bridges, thrilling steel wire bridges, and exciting vertical speed drops along the way.

Tips: Be sure to wear sports shoes, pants, and prepare gloves in advance.

Recommendation 5: Tea Tree Village, Delong Town

In the mountains of Delong Town, Nanchuan, Chongqing, there is a tea tree village that exists like a paradise on earth, where chickens and dogs can be heard and nature is beautiful.

Tea lovers, known as Jiamuye in the south, Southwest China is recognized as the origin of tea trees in the world, while the Ba Yu region is the origin of artificial tea cultivation.

Arriving in Delong Town, I want to visit an ancient tea tree: Jinfoshan Ancient Tea Tree No.1, which has been hailed as the "ancestor of tea villages" by generations of Jinfoshan tea farmers. This tea tree is over a thousand years old.

The millennium old traditional production process of Jinshanhong here is also an intangible cultural heritage of Chongqing. In the afternoon, we cooked tea around the stove in Tea Tree Village.

My friends all say that this millennium golden mountain red has a really good taste.

A gentle breeze blows, the fragrance of tea and flowers fills the air. Three to five friends, a leisurely vacation time.

Recommendation 6: Early Morning Market in Dayou Town

I stayed at the Jiaozishan Hotel in Dayou Town that night and woke up in the morning to the sound of birds chirping.

The hotel owner's wife said that there is a market in Dayou Town not far from the hotel, so my friends and I went to the market early in the morning.

When traveling, I really enjoy going to local markets, markets, and museums. One can experience the local people's lives, and the other can feel the local culture and history.

There are many unseen foods in the market, including locally grown fruits and vegetables. The prices in Chongqing are really not expensive, with snacks priced at 1 or 2 yuan.

The uncle playing the tambourine and the woman carrying a small basket always have a feeling of time flowing back.

This is full of human fireworks, very joyful.

Recommendation 7: Shanyu Homestay Afternoon Tea

The Shanwangping Karst Forest Park in Nanchuan is known as the Chongqing version of "Little Western Sichuan". However, business has been suspended recently, so we can only take aerial photos.

Not far from Shanwangping Karst Forest Park, there is a cedar language homestay where you can have afternoon tea in the afternoon.

Afternoon tea is 68 yuan per person, including coffee or soft drinks, fruit platter, and dried fruit platter. In such an environment, the cost-effectiveness is still good.

This season is just right, the temperature is very comfortable under the shade of trees outdoors. It's also great to come here in summer to escape the heat, and if there's a chance, come back in the summer.

In good weather, one should stay in a place without a ceiling. Time flies slowly, getting close to nature.

Recommendation 8: Lixiang Lake Lazy Camp

The last stop of that self driving trip was the Swiss style town of Zhonghai Lixiang Lake. More than an hour away from the main city of Chongqing, no admission fee required, suitable for taking photos for check-in.

The Lixiang Lake Lazy Camp by the lake, where you don't have to prepare anything by yourself, has an afternoon tea of 68 per person. I love this lazy camping mode the most!

I went camping by myself, with a lot of tents, tables, chairs, canopies, snacks, and drinks. It took me an hour to set them up and another hour to put them in, and I feel tired just thinking about it.

This kind of lazy camping, chatting and laughing with friends, purely enjoying.
