Red leaves in the evening, Xiao Xiao, a ladle of Changting wine.
Residual clouds return to Taihua, sparse rain passes through Zhongtiao.
The color of the trees echoes with the mountains, and the sound of the river is far into the sea.
Di Xiang will arrive tomorrow, still dreaming of fishing and woodcutting.
These poems can fully illustrate the beauty of autumn and the charm of red leaves. It has also attracted the favor of countless photographers, carrying long guns and short cannons to capture the beautiful moments here.
Wushan, with its unique geographical conditions, has oval shaped red leaves. Only here can the leaves turn red. It is reported that some professionals relocated the Wushan Hongye trees, but it ultimately failed. The relocated Hongye trees grew well, but their leaves could not turn red. Surprise many professionals.
The red leaves of Wushan also bring unique beauty to this city, bringing the story of the goddess to the world. The Twelve Peaks of Wushan are the greatest gift of nature for tourism in Wushan, but a few people know about them.
The twelve peaks of Wushan are not only beautiful and varied in shape, but also greatly enhanced by the unpredictable and elusive clouds and rain of Wushan. The high mountains and deep valleys in the gorge area, along with the steaming and lingering moisture, rise slowly along the mountain slopes, sometimes forming floating clouds and light rain, sometimes turning into rolling dark clouds in the clouds and mist, and sometimes into vast white mist. The Twelve Peaks appear and disappear intermittently, resembling a fairyland.
Deng Long Peak, Sheng Quan Peak, Chao Yun Peak, Shen Nu Peak, Song Luan Peak, Ji Xian Peak, Jing Tan Peak, Qi Yun Peak, Fei Feng Peak, Sheng Sheng Peak, Cui Ping Peak, and Ju He Peak, among the twelve peaks mentioned above, I personally believe that Shen Nu Peak is the most prominent.
The Goddess Peak
Wangxia Peak, also known as Shennu Peak. Located on the north bank of the Yangtze River, about 15 kilometers east of Wushan County. A giant rock stands out amidst the clouds and mist of Qingfeng, resembling a graceful and beautiful young girl, hence the name Shennu Peak. There is a saying in ancient times that goes, 'Clouds dominate the peaks, and the foot of the mountain plunges straight into the river. Those who discuss it call it Tai, Hua, Heng, and Lu all extraordinary.'. Whenever clouds and smoke swirl around the mountaintop, the human shaped stone pillar, as if draped in thin gauze, appears even more charming and alluring. The first to welcome the brilliant morning glow and the last to bid farewell to the splendid evening glow every day, hence the name 'Wangxia Peak'.
The Story of the Goddess Peak
The indoor fantasy show "The Goddess of Wushan" is divided into four chapters, telling the tragic love story of the goddess Yao Ji and the human tribe boy Aze, who know each other and love each other. When facing the invasion of water demons, they work together to resist the enemy. In the end, Yao Ji uses all her divine power to suppress the flood and transforms into the goddess peak, and the touching story of sacrificing herself to protect her.
Wushan is surrounded by twelve lush and verdant mountains, with pavilions and pavilions adorned with stone slabs, known as maidens. Wushan is located in the heart of the Three Gorges Reservoir area and is known as the "gateway to eastern Chongqing". It has unique natural scenery and a history and culture that has been passed down for thousands of years. It is a beloved place for ancient literati and poets, and the legend of Wushan Goddess has made Wushan widely known, from Qu Yuan's recitation, Song Yu's imagination, to contemporary poet Shu Ting's passionate call. In order to better inherit the culture of Wushan Goddess and promote the deep integration of culture and tourism, the indoor fantasy show "Wushan Goddess" that took 7 months to create has emerged.
When traveling to Wushan, there is another must visit attraction, Xiaoshanxia. Wushan Xiaosanxia consists of Longmen Gorge, Bawu Gorge, and Dicui Gorge, with a total length of 50 kilometers. She has a pool of clear water, strange peaks and steep walls, lush bamboo and trees, and the sound of apes echoing, full of wild charm. The characteristic of Xiaosanxia is its beauty and wonder, which inspired Chen Yunhe to write a poem for it called "Xiaosanxia on Daning River". Some people believe that it has six wonders, namely the majestic mountains, clear waters, beautiful peaks, treacherous beaches, secluded scenery, and stunning rocks, and can be called the "Wonderland Gorge of the World".
As the saying goes, there must be a river between two mountains. Whether it is the Daning River that nurtures the verdant peaks on both sides, or the beautiful peaks on both sides that nourish the clear and green waters of the Daning River, visiting the Little Three Gorges is like rowing a boat in a beautiful and exquisite natural bonsai, which will make you intoxicated. The Little Three Gorges is not only a well-known scenic spot; There are also precious historical relics such as Ba people's hanging coffins and boat coffins that have been lost for thousands of years, as well as ancient plank roads and stone holes that are difficult to understand. This unique canyon scenery integrates natural and cultural landscapes, and is a shining pearl on the golden waterway of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. After admiring the small Three Gorges of Wushan, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Once the sea was difficult to turn into water, but the Ninghe River was not a gorge. When the Five Sacred Mountains returned, I didn't look at the mountains, and when the Ninghe River returned, I didn't look at the gorge.
Wushan Small Three Gorges
The small Three Gorges of Wushan are particularly steep due to their narrower waterways, and the canyon is even deeper. In the small Three Gorges, there are various peaks, mountains and waters, and beautiful scenery. The cliffs on both sides face each other, with towering cliffs and narrow river channels. The sky opens in a straight line, revealing the irresistible temptation of the mountains and fields. The stalactites hanging upside down on the mountain rocks have strange shapes and various forms, emitting a primitive and ancient atmosphere. During the boat ride, the scenery along the shore is infinite, full of lush greenery, very beautiful, making one feel like returning to simplicity and embracing nature.
There are many mysteries hidden on the cliffs and cliffs on both sides of the strait. Take "hanging coffins" as an example. In the Three Gorges area, due to different regions, some are also called ship coffins or rock coffins. There are hanging coffins in places such as Coffin Gorge and Wind Box Gorge in Qutang Gorge, Bawu Gorge and Dicui Gorge in Daning River, Jingzhu Dam in Wuxi County upstream of Daning River, Bingshu Baojian Gorge in Xiling Gorge, and Jiuwan Creek. Ship coffin burial "is a unique custom of the Ba ethnic group. There are several explanations for the ancient practice of hanging coffins for burial: one theory suggests that the sound "high coffin" (high-ranking official) was used to bless future generations with wealth and prosperity; Secondly, it is to protect the bodies of our ancestors and prevent them from being violated by humans or animals; There is also a saying that the descendants of the Pu people, in order to fulfill filial piety (after their parents passed away), "gave birth to coffins and dug niches in the high mountains near the river to bury them. The coffins were hung from the mountains, and those who were taller were considered to be the most filial.
In the Little Three Gorges, there are two most obvious types of hanging coffins. One is to place the coffin in a natural cave at a certain height (mostly over tens of meters) above the ground. The second is to carve a cave or several caves on the cliff and place the coffin in the carved cave.
The beauty of Wushan is not what I said, it has been described by literati and scholars throughout history. The most obvious is:
Once upon a time, the sea was difficult to turn into water,
Except that Wushan is not a cloud.
Reviewing the lazy flowers,
Half fate cultivation, half fate ruler.
