Going to Chongqing has been a long planned itinerary for me. Usually, I go out alone to play. This time, when the children started their summer vacation, it happened to be the weekend, so I brought my nephew Dwen Dwen out to play together.
If you want children to have fun, there is one place that seems to never go wrong, and that is a fun and entertaining amusement park. Although I have already passed my childish age, this time I spent the most unforgettable amusement park experience with Dwen Dwen.
This is the Lehe Ledu Theme Park hidden in Yongchuan, Chongqing. In addition to seeing many wild animals here, it is also the best time for children to learn science. They can also go to the water park to play fun water gun battles, which is super fun.
Entering the Lehe Ledu Park
I used to go to amusement parks with friends, but this time I brought the children along and saw the world from their perspective. It feels quite different. We arrived at the Le He Le Du Theme Park in the morning, and there is a dedicated ticket office in front of the park entrance. It is recommended to book tickets online because sometimes there may be certain discounts, which are more cost-effective.
At the entrance of Le and Le Du, there is a large music turntable. Every time someone enters, cheerful music is played, and Dwen Dwen starts dancing and getting excited.
After passing the ticket inspection, the first thing that catches the eye is this volcano. On the rocks next to the volcano, there are statues of various wild animals, which are very vivid and appealing to children. This can also be considered a major landmark building in the Le He Le Du Theme Park.
Most of the buildings in the park have a strong Arab style, which is quite unique.
Wildlife driving area
The entire park is divided into four parts: Wildlife World, Entertainment Paradise, Global Village, and Two Rivers Holiday Hotel in Wildlife World. Therefore, we chose to visit Wildlife World first.
The most special thing is that the wildlife world is actually divided into a driving area and a walking area, especially the driving area. The animals are all in a free range living environment, and we tourists sit in the car to watch these animals. The zoo you go to during peacetime is completely different, to be honest, it's quite exciting.
There are two types of cars to choose from in the driving area, one is the iron cage food delivery car but requires an additional fee, and the other is the free bus, which provides a good viewing experience. If you are driving here, it is also allowed to drive in, but you must not get off halfway.
I and Dwen Dwen chose to take the bus, and from the front position, we could clearly see the animals ahead through the transparent glass window on the front of the car. The driving area will pass through four major regions: the Beast Kingdom, the Australian continent, the Eurasian continent, and the African wilderness.
The first thing to pass through is the Australian jungle, and these clever spotted deer will actively avoid cars when they see them approaching.
There is really a feeling of returning to the wild here, as the animals are not kept in captivity and can only move around in a small space every day.
A few silly little black bears in front of me are playing around with each other, which is quite interesting. If lucky, they can also be seen climbing trees together and occasionally reaching out to tourists for fruits to eat on the roadside.
In the kingdom of fierce beasts, many animals can be seen, such as the extremely rare white tiger. At first glance, there is an innate aristocratic aura, and Dwen Dwen is both excited and scared when he sees it.
A male African lion with golden fur, as if lost in thought, looks into the distance. The leopard lay dumbfounded on the side, inexplicably feeling a bit cute.
The Bengal tiger in front of us is preparing to chase something, which is the kind we often see on TV, very energetic.
Compared to the quieter lion in front, this male lion with a chicken in its mouth is truly wild, with two bright and lively eyes staring ahead, exuding a strong aura.
Some tourists choose to drive themselves, and at this moment, the tiger is located less than two meters away from the vehicle. I think that driver would definitely find it super exciting.
In fact, as long as the car doesn't stop, tigers are not likely to be attracted, and the most important thing is to lock the car doors.
I saw these animals passing by through the car window, and Dwen Dwen was both fond and afraid of them. When he encountered unfamiliar animals, he would proactively ask me what they were, and the next time he saw them, he could accurately say it. I didn't expect children to have such strong memory.
After experiencing the driving area, the next step is the pedestrian area, which is also what Dwen Dwen is most looking forward to, because it allows for close contact with cute little animals.
The first thing we see in the pedestrian area is this alpaca, round, chubby, and cute in appearance. When Dwen Dwen first saw the alpaca, he was still a little scared and kept a distance from it, afraid to get close.
The first thing we see in the pedestrian area is this alpaca, round, chubby, and cute in appearance. When Dwen Dwen first saw the alpaca, he was still a little scared and kept a distance from it, afraid to get close.
So I told Dwen Dwen that the alpaca is actually a very gentle little animal, don't worry, it won't spit at you. Later, Dwen Dwen slowly began to try to approach and touch the little alpaca.
After watching the alpaca, Dwen Dwen saw his most familiar elephant and quickly ran over. The two little elephants were leisurely strolling in front of the fence.
The small animals all live in environments related to their habits, and the design of other facilities in the park is also very thoughtful. The wooden stakes on the signs are painted with colorful graffiti.
I met a couple who were taking photos to check in, and the scene was very small and fresh.
In the pedestrian zone, I also encountered these two cute little ones. It's called the horizontal spotted mongoose, also known as the African mongoose. They like to come out and move during the day. When taking photos, they feel like they're waiting for me to take them, which is quite interesting. If you want to feed them, you can also buy them nearby for 10 yuan per fish and 5 yuan per quail egg.
Seeing the cute plush toy, Dwen Dwen was immediately attracted. Indeed, toys are the children's favorite.
The more animals he saw, the more he began to let go of his courage and dared to observe up close on his own.
Later, we arrived at the Squirrel and Monkey Hall, where there were many cute little monkeys.
The rooms where the small animals live in the park are still very clean and spacious, and very friendly. They didn't immediately run away when they saw Dwen Dwen, but instead interacted with each other.
The most interesting thing is that there was a tourist next to us who wanted to try playing videos on their phone and watch them. I didn't expect them to be so focused and serious, they couldn't be too cute.
The happiest thing is the African antelope living on this tender green lawn, resting and foraging in groups on their territory.
If the antelope is bolder, it will actively walk up to the fence and wait for us to feed it.
Dwen Dwen took the initiative to offer carrot sticks to feed the antelopes this time, indicating that he really likes these animals and is no longer as scared as before.
However, because Dwen Dwen got it a bit low and the antelope couldn't reach it, I went to feed it with him, and the antelope immediately leaned in and started eating.
Giraffes are also beloved animals by many children, with a height ranging from six to eight meters, thanks to their four long legs and long neck. And the whole body is covered with leopard like patterns, which are said to be unique like fingerprints on our hands, and can also be considered a unique mark.
Giraffes love to eat leaves the most, so they take a tree branch covered in leaves to feed it. They will come over and open their mouths to eat, occasionally revealing their big teeth. It's really super cute.
Who else in the world is short leg except corgi? Of course, it's the rhinoceros, but it can actually be considered as the second largest animal on land after elephants in terms of body size. Despite its bulky size, the guide said that rhinoceros can reach a speed of 45 kilometers per hour over short distances.
The versatile athlete who can swim, fly, and walk is undoubtedly the Pelicans, and the small pond in front of them is their stage of performance.
The most special feature of a pelican is its chin, which is like a cloth bag. All the food needs to be rinsed in this bag after entering its mouth.
The lower shell of the mouth is connected to the skin, forming a large skin bag that can stretch and retract freely. It looks a bit silly and cute, and even gave it a direct name: a teapot.
Wonderful and interesting water gun foam battle
In the afternoon, we arrived at the amusement park to continue playing. Upon learning that we were heading straight to the amusement park today, Dwen Dwen immediately regained his spirits. However, most of the projects in the amusement park start at around 10 o'clock. Fortunately, they arrived early and didn't queue up, which was quite fortunate.
There are many water play activities in the amusement park, and the most popular one is the large-scale rapids adventure. It's really suitable to play in summer, it's super comfortable.
In the exclusive children's playground, there are also many exciting and fun amusement facilities, such as spinning bees, fruit worm pulleys, dolphin jumps, and so on, which are the favorite projects of children.
The experience project called the Ten Ring Roller Coaster is also very unique and absolutely super exciting.
Strolling in the amusement park, I once again saw these beautiful Arabic style buildings. The exquisite patterns and designs are a creative artistic representation, and taking photos is also very beautiful.
There is also a dedicated dolphin performance area in the amusement park, and Dwen Dwen has always said he wants to see dolphins with his own eyes. Of course, he cannot miss it this time. However, the dolphin performance area is charged separately and is not included in the ticket price.
To be honest, I have actually watched dolphin performances many times, but every time I am deeply shocked, especially the moment when the dolphins rush out of the water together, the excitement instantly makes people's blood boil. Dwen Dwen loved this performance so much that he didn't want to go out again until the dolphins had rested.
In addition, there is also a joyful castle hidden in the amusement park, which is very suitable for both adults and children to play.
This place full of laughter and joy is the busiest in the park, carefully preparing for a cool and exciting water gun battle.
The flying bubbles in the sky are also very popular among children, and they can't help but try to grab the dreamy bubbles with their hands.
Before the opening of the Water Gun Battle, there will be many foreign countries and young ladies playing primitive humans, peacocks, octopuses and other animals for song and dance performances, accompanied by dynamic music, and the atmosphere on site is also very lively.
Children can pick up heavyweight water guns and "attack and raid" each other. Each child is super excited to play, with a bright smile on their face, experiencing the joy of childhood.
In contrast, the water splashing game between us adults is even more direct. We start splashing with a water basin directly, as if we have a sense of mission to not wet the other party and not give up. The scene is particularly intense.
Everyone's enthusiasm is only increasing, not decreasing. Even the staff members have 'tricked each other', and the two of them have teamed up to throw at each other. They are really good at playing.
When the water splashing battle reached its climax, the facilities in the park also began to spray water in all directions, and no one could escape the fate of being soaked.
Some children can't hold on anymore and run towards the safe zone with water guns to avoid the water.
After the end of the water gun battle, there is also a more fun romantic bubble bath, where snowflakes constantly spray and fill the entire venue with bubbles. Colorful bubbles pile up together, forming a sea of bubbles.
Let the flying bubbles cover your body, so that you can really enjoy the fun brought by the "foam summer". Everyone has a great time.
In the summer when it is easy to be impetuous, it is really comfortable to come here to enjoy the carnival. The cool foam poured in waves, and the children danced and ran in the sea of foam, screaming happily.
Regarding accommodation
This time we stayed at the Liangjiang Holiday Hotel within the amusement park, which is conveniently located not far from the amusement park.
The overall appearance of the hotel is similar to other architectural styles in the amusement park, and on the roadside leading to the hotel entrance, rows of boxes containing small animals such as turtles and lizards can be seen. Occasionally, from the window of the room, a few squirrel monkeys can also be seen.
Overall, the rooms in the hotel are satisfactory to me, quiet and comfortable. There is also a courtyard outside the room that can be dedicated to drying clothes, which is very thoughtful for parents of three or four who come to play.
What impressed me the most was that the toiletries set in the bathroom was designed with exclusive Le He Le Du, which was very distinctive.

2. The weather has been quite hot recently, so you can prepare mineral water and drinks in advance;
3. Although there is plenty of greenery in the amusement park, it is still necessary to take good care of sun protection and preferably use a parasol;
4. When exploring the animal world, you may still encounter some small mosquitoes to some extent. It is recommended to bring a small bottle of mosquito repellent or mosquito repellent cream.
