It only takes about half an hour to walk straight from the Chongqing People's Great Hall to the Chongqing Soong Ching Ling Memorial Hall, but walking in between feels like walking in another century.

This is not just the movement of space, but more like the movement of time. The names strung together due to the movement of space, such as the Great Hall, Three Gorges Museum, Yiyuan, Chinese Democratic Party History Exhibition Hall, Zhongshan Fourth Road, Parachute Tower, and Soong Ching ling Memorial Hall, record the temperature of time.

And all of this, for any Chongqing resident, is the pride and honor of the city they live in, which they are most proud of; For outsiders, all of this is like legends, coming down from history books and placed in front of them. This is the background color of Chongqing city, the most precious texture, and a magnificent chapter like an epic. The "Red Three Rocks" scenic area connects these locations.

The "Red Three Rocks" scenic area is a group of revolutionary sites mainly composed of Hongyan Village, Zengjiayan, and Hutouyan, including three major areas of approximately 5.23 square kilometers: Hongyanzui Hutouyan Hualong Lake, Liziba Erling Fotuguan International Village, Zhongshan Fourth Road Dadianwan Cultural Palace, etc. This is the birthplace of the Red Rock Spirit, with an important historical position and significant contemporary value. Today, right here, we split into two groups and once again walk along these routes that belong to the "Red Three Rocks", providing travel routes, guides on the way, and everything you want to know for all those who love this city deeply in their hearts. According to the region, the entire "Red Three Rocks" scenic area guide article is divided into two parts. The first part covers the Zhongshan Fourth Road - Great Hall - Datianwan - Cultural Palace area, while the second part covers the Hongyanzui - Hutouyan - Hualong Lake, Liziba - Eling - Fotuguan - International Village area. If you are a tourist from another city coming to Chongqing, then these two articles are even more necessary to read - after all, they cover many wonderful information about food, accommodation, transportation, shopping, and entertainment on this route.

Walking through the urban background of Chongqing

Time: 9:00 AM Route: Chongqing People's Great Hall → Three Gorges Museum → Yiyuan → Teyuan · Chinese Democratic Party History Exhibition Hall
The morning in Chongqing has a strong beauty, and the mist usually dissipates around 9:30. When the morning sunshine begins to shine over the city, it is precisely the time for those walking on this line to enter here. Our itinerary begins at the Chongqing People's Grand Hall, a highly iconic building that provides a strong sense of starting point for this journey.

01. Chongqing People's Great Hall

The Chongqing People's Grand Hall is one of the most iconic buildings in Chongqing. It started construction in 1951 during the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China and was completed in 1954. It consists of a central hall and four main parts: the east, south, and north buildings, covering a total area of 66000 square meters.

For those who first see the People's Great Hall of Chongqing, it is undoubtedly awe inspiring: the architectural features of the Ming and Qing dynasties, the traditional layout of symmetrical central axes, paired with colonnaded double wings and ending with a tower, the facade proportions are symmetrical, the three story dome of the central hall is supported by large red columns, green glazed tiles, and the golden "roof" in the center of the central hall, which is designed in reference to the "Prayer for Good Harvests Hall" of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The entire auditorium gives a sense of spiritual cohesion and intimidation, representing the highest level of architectural structure.

The evaluation of Chongqing Grand Hall by the architectural and cultural circles is particularly fair, as it has been named one of the "Top Ten Classic Buildings of the 20th Century in Asia". Mr. Liang Sicheng praised it as "the most typical work of Chinese classical architecture that marked the era in the 1950s".

In 1987, the Royal Society of British Architects and the University of London compiled the "History of World Architecture", which for the first time included 43 projects since the founding of the People's Republic of China, with the Chongqing People's Grand Hall ranking second among them.

In May 2013, the People's Grand Hall of Chongqing was listed as the "Seventh Batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units" by the State Council. In September 2016, it was also included in the "First Batch of China's 20th Century Architectural Heritage" list.

When entering the grand hall with a clearance height of 55 meters, it is easy for people to feel small, which is caused by the sense of space and historical weight here. Over the past nearly seventy years, important conferences such as the Party Congress, People's Congress, and Political Consultative Conference of Chongqing, as well as the unveiling ceremony of the Central Government, and international conferences have been held here. In this sense, the Grand Hall has always witnessed the development and glory of Chongqing.

02. Three Gorges Museum

The Three Gorges Museum, also known as the Chongqing Museum, is one of the first national first-class museums and a national level museum jointly built by the central and local governments. It is only one square away from the Chongqing People's Great Hall, and it takes about 3 minutes to walk out of the hall and enter the Three Gorges Museum.

Its history is similar to that of the Great Hall of the People, both established in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Its predecessor was the Southwest Museum established in March 1951. In June 1955, it was renamed the Chongqing Museum. In 2000, with the approval of the General Office of the State Council, the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum was established to undertake the rescue, exhibition, and research work of a large number of precious cultural relics in the Three Gorges Cultural Relics Protection Project. The new museum was officially opened to the public on June 18, 2005.

There are currently 114000 pieces/sets (279000 pieces) in the collection, including over 500 Sichuan Paleolithic artifacts, more than 1000 Bashu cultural relics, over 100 Han Dynasty portrait stones and bricks, over 4000 ceramics from famous kilns throughout history, and over 5000 paintings and calligraphy by famous artists since the Song and Yuan dynasties. There are also relics and manuscripts of historical figures such as Ming Yuzhen, Zhang Xianzhong, Qin Liangyu, Zou Rong, as well as works of painters such as Qi Baishi, Zhang Daqian, Xu Beihong, Zhu Xuanxian, Su Baozhen, and about 30000 modern cultural relics. In terms of distribution, the Three Gorges Museum traces and presents the Three Gorges culture and Chongqing history through multiple chapters, including the magnificent Three Gorges, ancient Ba Yu, the Anti Japanese War era, and the Chongqing Urban Road.

This exhibit is a ceramic artifact from the Goryeo Dynasty period, ingeniously designed, finely crafted, with a novel shape and beautiful style, imitating Chinese Yue kiln celadon. In 1983, Li Chuli donated it and it is now collected in the China Three Gorges Museum in Chongqing.

The Three Gorges Museum is better known for its top ten collections, which hold significant importance in Chinese and even human history. These are all national first-class cultural relics and are well-known to people. They were selected by cultural relics experts from 29 out of 170000 exhibits in the collection, and then voted on by the entire Chongqing citizens as the top ten cultural relics. This includes 10 cultural relics, including the Wuyang Han Que, the jawbone fossil of the "Wushan Man" from 2 million years ago, the bird shaped statue, the seal of a biased general, the Tang Yinlin Han Xizai night banquet painting, the San Yang Zun, the Guanyin statue made by He Chaozong, the posthumous letter of martyr Jiang Zhuyun, the Hu Niu Chunyu, and the Eastern Han Jingyun Stele.

03. Yiyuan Exhibition Hall

It takes about ten minutes to walk from the Three Gorges Museum to the Yiyuan Exhibition Hall. Yiyuan Jing stands beside a small alley at the bridgehead of Niujiaotuo Yu'ao Bridge, which is now known as Jiaxi Village. This brick and stone structure imitation Gothic villa, built in the 1930s, features a stone porch, Western style doors and windows, pointed roofs, and streamlined stone stairs in front of the door. It is named after Zhang Leyi, the wife of Song Ziwen, and is also known as the "Song Ziwen Mansion".

The original owner of Yiyuan was Mr. Hu Guanglu, a famous industrialist and industrialist during the Republic of China period. Later, when the Nationalist government moved its capital to Chongqing in 1939, he gave this courtyard to the Song family to live in. As one of the negotiation venues in Chongqing, Yiyuan witnessed this significant historical event.

On December 22, 1945, American five-star general Marshall came to China as a presidential envoy to mediate the dispute between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party on behalf of the US government, and stayed at the official residence of Song Ziwen - "Yiyuan". In January 1946, Zhou Enlai and Zhang Qun signed the first "ceasefire agreement" between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party in Yiyuan.

The building materials and equipment of Yiyuan are quite exquisite, with tightly combined bluestone strips and brick wood structures. The floors are all made of nanmu inlaid with lace, and the bathrooms are decorated with mosaics. Each room is equipped with metal radiators.

There is a cylindrical boiler about one person high in the basement of the villa, with pipes connecting the radiators in each room. This typical design style of cold regions is quite common in Northern Europe or Northeast China. Among the old buildings in Chongqing that used this design, Yiyuan was the only one.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Yiyuan served as a government guesthouse. From the 1970s to 2011, it was used as the office building of Shangqingsi Police Station. Yiyuan is a national key cultural relic protection unit and is open to the public free of charge.

04. Special Park - Exhibition Hall of the History of the Chinese Party and Democratic Parties

Starting from the Yiyuan Exhibition Hall, it is only about a ten minute walk from the Chinese Democratic Party History Exhibition Hall. The Chinese Democratic Party History Exhibition Hall was built on the basis of the previous special park. Teyuan was the former residence of the famous patriotic and democratic figure Xianying during the Anti Japanese War, also known as Teyuan due to the Xianying character "Te Sheng".

In 1941, the Chinese Democratic Political League was established in Teyuan and later renamed the Chinese Democratic League. When Chairman Mao went to Chongqing for negotiations, he went to Teyuan three times and had long talks with the leaders of the Democratic League at that time, famous patriotic and democratic figures Zhang Lan and Xian Ying, to discuss national affairs together.

In October 1945, the Three Principles of the People Comrades' Federation was also established in Teyuan, which later became one of the predecessors of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Nationalist Party. In order to commemorate the contribution of Teyuan to the revolutionary cause, Dong Biwu proposed to gift Teyuan with the title of "Democratic Home", and later Feng Yuxiang handwritten the plaque of "Democratic Home" for him.

In March 2004, the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to establish the first "Traditional Education Base of the Chinese United Front" in Chongqing, and set up a united front propaganda and education joint line led by the "Special Garden · Exhibition Hall of Chinese Democratic Party History". This is the only comprehensive exhibition hall in China that fully reflects the multi-party cooperation and political consultation system led by the CPC. In May 2013, the special park was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit.

Midday snacks have a long-lasting taste

Time: AM12:00-PM14:00

It's already noon when I leave the Democratic Party History Exhibition Hall. After a morning of walking and visiting, you must be tired and hungry, right? Fortunately, right beside you is a paradise of delicious food.

01. Jiuyuan Baozi

Walking out of the Democratic Party History Exhibition Hall, it takes less than three minutes to walk into Zhongshan Fourth Road and see Jiuyuan Baozi.

Jiuyuan Baozi originated in 1931 and enjoys honors such as Chinese famous snack, Chongqing time-honored brand, Chongqing intangible cultural heritage, China's top ten baozi restaurants, and Chinese characteristic baozi. It is a well-known restaurant in "Old Chongqing".

In the 1930s, the owner of Jiuyuan was named Su Zejiu. Su was originally the chief of staff of the Yu Biwei unit of Sun Yat sen's revolutionary army. After retiring from the army, he was sponsored by Gongsun Changzhi, who opened a calligraphy and painting shop, to open a restaurant in 2000 large oceans. Gongsun Changzhi took the third character of Su Zejiu's name "nine" as the theme and named it "Jiuyuan", with the meaning of hoping for "longevity". His steamed buns are made with high-quality ingredients and only serve 500 seats per day. They open at 10am and sell out until they are sold out. For a while, "Luoyang paper is expensive" and people are eager to taste them.

In 2016, Jiuyuan Baozi reopened on Zhongshan Fourth Road in Chongqing, and on the first day of opening, there was a hot queue phenomenon. The dough of Jiuyuan Baozi is soft, and the filling is filled with fresh meat from the day before use. The sauce is fragrant and sweet, and after entering the mouth, it is even more full and beautiful; There are also many Chongqing snacks in the shop, such as oil tea, spicy cowpeas, stone soybean milk, etc., all of which are top choices in taste.

Per capita consumption: 20-50 yuan

02. Joyful Chinese Restaurant

Of course, if you think lunch still needs a more ceremonial feel, then continue walking along Zhongshan Fourth Road for another five minutes and you will see a smoky Chinese restaurant - Xiyangyang Restaurant. Although this name may not be eye-catching, it is definitely quite tempting for those familiar with it.

This is an old shop that has been welcoming customers here for nearly twenty years. The decoration is very ordinary, and the dishes are in a homely style. The menu doesn't even have pictures, and ordering relies entirely on imagination. However, it has to be said that there are almost no minefields.

Xiaomi steamed pork ribs are a staple dish in his family. Soft and sticky millet wraps around large pieces of pork ribs and spreads them on sweet old pumpkins. All ingredients retain their own flavors while perfectly blending together; Secret soy sauce chicken is the most traditional flavor, using black chicken. The soy sauce is also secret made, and the scallion white soaked in hot oil blends with the chicken and soy sauce, emitting a charming aroma; And many regular customers of vegetarian dishes will choose lettuce with sesame sauce. Fresh lettuce is mixed with sesame sauce and then stirred evenly. When eating, you can fully feel the crispness of lettuce and the sweetness of sesame sauce.

Travel Tips

Per capita consumption: 30-60 yuan

03. O'Brien Coffee

After lunch, we are a bit tired and want to find a place to take a short break. You can come to Zhongshan Industrial Park, which is two minutes away from Xiyangyang Restaurant. The Obrun coffee here naturally becomes the first choice.

O'Brien is an Australian chain brand, named after the combination of the two founders' names' Oliver 'and' Brown '. The overall color scheme of the store is mainly olive green and dark brown. The caf é has books, floral arrangements, and cultural and creative products, located in the heart of the most beautiful street. Full year-round.

Entering the store, a dazzling array of European retro furniture immediately catches the eye: exquisitely carved bookshelves, thick textured leather sofas, retro style wall lamps, and solid wood coffee tables are arranged in a staggered manner in the store. Most of these furniture pieces come from the heartland of Europe, crossing the sea - the caf é has partnered with furniture store "European Vintage Store" by chance, dedicated to promoting European retro culture in Yuzhong District and seeking customers interested in this niche culture.

After a lazy lunch, a cup of coffee and a half-hour nap are believed to relieve the fatigue of walking. There is also a bakery nearby, and Dim sum is also very good. Take some "dry food" with us, and let's continue on the road.

Strolling in the historical and cultural corridor of Yuzhong

Time: PM 14:00-19:00

Route: Zhongshan Fourth Road - Zhou Mansion - Zengjiayan Academy - Guiyuan - Parachute Tower - Soong Ching ling Former Residence Exhibition Hall - Hilton Hotel

01. Zhongshan Fourth Road

Actually, we have been wandering around Zhongshan Fourth Road since noon. This is a pleasant and pleasant road, known as the "most beautiful street in Chongqing", with a total length of 800 meters. Along the street, there are scattered Zhou Mansion, Dai Mansion, Guiyuan and other buildings.

Zhongshan Fourth Road is also a cultural street of the Anti Japanese War, representing the past and present of Chongqing, and has an undeniable position in this city. Along the street, there are Republican style buildings with blue brick walls and white gray joints. One or two story gatehouses stand by the sidewalk, making people feel like they are transported back to a time when time was slow.

On both sides of the street are towering roadside trees, with their canopies covering half of the road, providing thick shade that blocks out the sun. Even in the scorching summer season, the coolness suddenly arises. The final scene of the movie 'Young You' was filmed here. Adult Xiaobei still stands behind Chen Nian, adding a touch of warmth to the somewhat oppressive movie.

On the wall of the city gate, many young people came here to take photos - several yellow fern roots that had grown for decades stubbornly stretched out of the wall, firmly and powerfully occupying the place, while some fibrous roots extended from their main roots, gradually expanding outward, showcasing their strong vitality and energy.

The Wang Qi Art Museum across from the tree roots has various exhibitions from time to time, which do not require admission tickets. Parents with their children often walk in groups, and some artistic youths who have watched the exhibitions come out, making the entire street full of vitality.

02. Zhou Mansion

At the eastern end of Zhongshan Fourth Road, it was once the office of the Eighth Route Army stationed in Chongqing, one of the offices of the Southern Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and also the place where Premier Zhou Enlai once lived.

As a major office location of the Southern Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in the city, the Southern Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China fought here for eight years, leading the people of the Nationalist controlled areas in the arduous struggle against Japan and national salvation. The Military Group, Cultural Group, Women's Group, Foreign Affairs Group, and Party Group of the Southern Bureau were all located here.

This is a small building with a brick and wood mixed structure, facing north and south, with a blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles and a compromise. It is built in shades of blue and gray, against the rocks and facing the river, forming a "back" shape. The internal structure of the small building is complex like a maze, with a courtyard in the center, which is quaint and mysterious. In the courtyard of Zhou Mansion, there is a secret passage that leads to the air raid shelter and directly to the Jialing River.

It can be imagined that in the last century, there were high-ranking officials of the Kuomintang inside the Zhou Mansion and special agents of the Military Statistics Bureau outside. In such a dangerous and complex environment, leaders of the Southern Bureau such as Zhou Enlai, Dong Biwu, and Ye Jianying were calm and composed, maneuvering in front of the enemy's eyes and effectively leading the struggle in the national unification area and the anti Japanese national united front, demonstrating the fearless revolutionary spirit and extremely high fighting art of the Communist Party.

03. Zengjiayan Academy

The academy is the former site of the National Government Police Station and is a cultural relic protection unit in Yuzhong District. It is separated from the Zhou Mansion by a wall and has a total area of approximately 1300 square meters.

The style of the Republic of China and the style of the Republic of China are emerging trends in urban nostalgia culture in recent years, and are one of the most important resources and themes in contemporary cultural and creative industries.

Zengjiayan Academy also follows this style, integrating books, information search, cultural exhibition display, themed activities, cultural salons, leisure and entertainment, coffee and simple meals, and other comprehensive theme cultures into one, creating a comprehensive urban "cultural living room". Currently, it is also a new "cultural business card" for Yuzhong and Chongqing.

Many people come along Zhongshan Fourth Road, taking a break to drink coffee or fruit tea, watching the traffic and riverside scenery of Zengjiayan Bridge, feeling comfortable with the spring breeze.

Travel Tips

Per capita consumption: 40-100 yuan

04. Guiyuan

On Zhongsi Road, just a two minute walk from Zhou Gongguan, is the famous Guiyuan in the history of the Chinese revolution.

Guiyuan is an independent courtyard with its entrance facing the street. In 1939, General Zhang Zhizhong of the Kuomintang leased it. Because Zhang Zhizhong's father's name was "Guizheng" and when he moved in, he personally planted osmanthus trees and named this small courtyard "Guiyuan".

In August 1945, China experienced a crisis of civil war after the victory of the Anti Japanese War. At the invitation of Chiang Kai shek, Mao Zedong led a delegation of the CPC from Yan'an to Chongqing, and Zhang Zhi provided the "Guiyuan Garden" as a place for Mao Zedong to work and meet guests. During the 43 day negotiation period, Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai met with people from all walks of life here multiple times.

On the afternoon of October 10, 1945, the Kuomintang and the Communist Party signed the famous "Double Tenth Agreement" in Guiyuan. Guiyuan has become an important witness to the negotiations between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.

Guiyuan covers an area of 700 square meters, and the main building is a brick and wood structure. On the left side of the first floor is the reception room, and on the right side is the restaurant. Here, Comrade Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai once hosted banquets for heads of various foreign organizations stationed in China and friendly individuals from all walks of life at home and abroad.

The second floor is where Comrade Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai worked and rested. Here are photos of Comrade Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai's activities during the negotiations in Chongqing, as well as relevant reports from Xinhua Daily and Liberation Daily at that time.

05. Parachute Tower

Leaving Zhongshan Fourth Road, taking a taxi, it takes about five minutes to reach the skydiving tower at Lianglukou. The skydiving tower was built in 1942 to cultivate the air force, promote aviation construction, and develop national sports after the Nationalist government relocated its capital to Chongqing.

It was the first skydiving tower in China and even Asia at that time, with an investment of 500000 yuan. It was presided over by Shanghai Jitai Engineering Co., Ltd., designed by Mr. Yang Tingbao, a famous architect in China and a current member of the academic department of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and constructed by Tao Fuji Construction Co., Ltd.

The skydiving tower is a reinforced concrete structure with a conical shape. The tower is 38 meters high, with an actual jumping distance of 28 meters. It reaches a height of 35 meters at the steel arm, with a top diameter of 1.52 meters, a bottom diameter of 3.35 meters, and a lower circumference of 13 meters. When the three parachuting steel frames are opened outward, they resemble steel giants embracing the blue sky, which is very spectacular.

At that time, the height and exquisite construction materials of the parachuting towers in the capital city were comparable to those of several parachuting towers in various countries around the world. After liberation, under the warm care of Comrade He Long, skydiving in Chongqing flourished. In 1954, the Chongqing Parachute School was established at the Datianwan Sports Stadium to carry out aerial skydiving activities and cultivate a group of excellent skydivers. In September 2000, the skydiving tower was declared a municipal level cultural relic protection unit by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government.

06. Chongqing Soong Ching Ling Memorial Hall

Walk down the He Long statue from the skydiving tower and turn right. It takes about five minutes to walk to the Chongqing Soong Ching Ling Memorial Hall.

The memorial hall is the residence of Soong Ching ling during the Anti Japanese War (1942-1945) and the former headquarters of the Alliance for the Defense of China. It covers an area of 1200 square meters and has a building area of 760 square meters. It consists of a main building, a rear building, and an air raid shelter.

On December 8, 1941, after the outbreak of the Pacific War, the Japanese army occupied Hong Kong. On the 10th, with the help of Communist Party members such as Liao Chengzhi, Soong Ching ling came from Hong Kong to Chongqing. Song Qingling's main purpose for this trip to Chongqing is to rebuild the 'Defend China Alliance'. She originally had no housing in Chongqing, so she had to temporarily stay at her elder sister Song Ailing's house. Song Ailing's husband was Kong Xiangxi, the Finance Minister of the Kuomintang.

Song Qingling's every move in the Kong family was monitored by the servants of the Kong family, and her situation was dangerous, making it impossible for her to carry out the "League Protection" work. Therefore, she entrusted someone to find a new house and, with the help of her younger brother Song Ziwen, moved into No. 3 Lianglukou New Village (now No. 5 Lianglukou New Village). This is the origin of the current Chongqing Soong Ching Ling Memorial Hall.

Here, Soong Ching ling used her high reputation internationally to break through the various blockades of the Kuomintang, constantly writing letters to communicate with foreign countries, reporting the real situation of the Chinese people's resistance against Japan, and seeking international assistance.

She actively organized fundraising, provided relief to refugees, wounded soldiers, and children, organized supplies, and continuously delivered large amounts of funds, medicines, medical equipment, food supplies, and other relief materials to the people in the anti Japanese base areas under the leadership of the Communist Party of China through various channels. She also actively introduced and transported foreign doctors to work in the anti Japanese base areas, making outstanding contributions to supporting the Chinese people's resistance against Japan.

Time: PM 19:00-22:00

Chongqing's night belongs to hotpot - after a day's journey, this sentence seems particularly sincere. In addition, there are many well-known and recommended hotpot restaurants in this area, each with its own unique characteristics.

01. Dongting Hot Pot

After visiting the Song Qingling Old Residence Exhibition Hall, walk down about 200 meters on the sidewalk and you will see Dongting Hot Pot.

Dongting hotpot is opened in the air raid shelter at the intersection of two roads. The entrance is not large, but there is a cave inside - the space inside is much wider than the entrance. Tables of hotpot are arranged haphazardly in the cave, to use an inappropriate metaphor, as if hotpot is in a meeting.

There are more outsiders here to eat hot pot, so its Yuanyang pot bottom also has advantages. The tripe here is freshly prepared every day. After being blanched in a pot filled with the aroma of butter, it is crispy, tender, and refreshing, and melts into a residue when consumed; The crispy pork is made by frying fresh pork belly, which is small in size but particularly crispy; The consumption fish, which is rarely used by outsiders for hot pot, is cooked in red soup and the fish meat is tender and stunning.

In those years, Zhang Ping and his wife Xiong Xiaoyu opened a Spicy Hot Pot restaurant in the main street of loquat mountain in Chongqing, and later changed it into a four table shop Xiaoyu Hot Pot, whose name is a homonym of his wife Xiong Xiaoyu's name.

After the broadcast of "A Bite of China 2", Xiaoyu Hot Pot became famous and became the preferred hot pot restaurant for outsiders to check in in Chongqing.

People who have tried Xiaoyu hotpot say that not only is the bottom of the pot delicious, but the ingredients are also fresh and delicious: fresh goose intestines can be described as "crispy" with one word, "refreshing" with two words, "elastic" with three words, and "delicious" with four words; Pig yellow throat is the freshest, it can be cooked for less than 15 seconds and eaten. Similarly, it is also crispy and refreshing; What tastes even better is the waist slices, which have no fishy smell at all. They are cut as thin as paper and immediately scooped out after being put into the pot, dipped in dried chili noodles - one bite down, that's heaven.

The special dishes of the panda hot pot are panda meat slices, caviar and shrimp slip, tender beef, Wulong potato powder, etc. In addition, ice rice dumpling is also served.
