The long-awaited annual leave has finally arrived, and the happy time flies by in a flash. Looking back, it has been almost 2 months since I returned to Beijing, and finally I have posted this long delayed travelogue. Sincere thanks to family and friends for their supervision and patience. (However, in the end, because the photos are basically the original pictures, they haven't been revised. After all, Xizang is beautiful, so they sent the original pictures
As usual, gratitude should still be written at the beginning. When it comes to this journey, the first thing to thank is Chun Ge's decisiveness. One day when I got home from work and was browsing Ctrip, my father suddenly held up a frying shovel and said to me, "Let's go to Xizang," so he quickly decided hahaha. Secondly, I would like to thank Sister Xi Qian for planning our itinerary with me and giving me a lot of advice. I would also like to thank Master Li Caishang for taking us all the way through mountains and valleys. It was very hard. Finally, we would like to thank Master and all the friends who have given us advice and advice. Thank you for your help and support. A wonderful journey cannot be separated from everyone's warm reminder
Without further ado, let's get to the point!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->& gt;>>>>>

Day 9: Chongqing - Ciqikou - Nanshan Yike Tree Observation Deck - Dongting Hot Pot (Air Defense Cave Restaurant) - Jiangbei Airport - Beijing
Our itinerary was originally like this, but because my father and I experienced varying degrees of altitude sickness after coming down from Yanghu, we went to the health clinic in Langkazi Town for oxygen therapy at noon. The doctor suggested not to go further, so the itinerary was also adjusted accordingly
The itinerary for the fifth to eighth day after adjustment is as follows
Day 5: Gangbala Mountain Pass - Yangzhuoyongcuo - Langkazi - Lhasa
Day 6: Norbulingka - Sera Temple - Sera Temple Scripture Debate - Sera Temple Sweet Tea House - Bakuo Street - Potala Palace Square - Yaowang Mountain - Night View of Potala Palace Square

Thank you again to Master Li for taking me and my father to the clinic and bringing us back to Lhasa in a timely manner. Thank you, Uncle Deng, for waiting for us even though we have already finished work. He has been busy taking us to take photos, blood tests, and oxygen therapy. Thank you, Sister Xiqian, for quickly assisting me in adjusting my itinerary and discussing the follow-up route together. Although the originally planned Zhasi, Glacier, and Shengxiang Tianmen were unfortunately missed this time, all other places I wanted to go have been reached. I was pleasantly surprised to check in at the night view of the Potala Palace, and unexpectedly went to the historic and niche attraction of Lupuyan Temple. I took a bus through the streets and alleys, visited local markets and tea houses, which was also very perfect.

[Day 1: Beijing Chongqing (I arrived at more than 1:00 in the morning and went to bed after a meal of incense) Hongya Cave - Monument to the people's Liberation - Yangtze River Cableway - Liziba Light Rail Station - Jiangbei Airport - Gongga Airport
At my dad's request, I took a photo of him and the plane together
I have become more and more fond of night flights during these trips, and I feel like I can save a lot of time. Apart from feeling a little tired, there are no problems anymore. Because I arrived in Chongqing around 1 pm at night, I chose a hotel that is particularly close to the airport and also provides airport pick-up services. It's very thoughtful
I haven't seen such a brand in a long time, and I can't help but want to take a picture
Attached is a photo of Chun Ge looking at the night view through the window hahaha (just finished playing games on the plane)
After checking in and holding the room card located on the 4th floor, I realized that the 4th floor was actually the hotel's basement level 1. It was only then that I realized that the hotel lobby was located on the 5th floor, which is truly a mountain city
I put down my luggage and insisted on having a meal before going to bed, so I grabbed my dad and had a skewer of incense not far from the hotel. It should be a chain store with a few tables of locals. The skewer incense here is calculated by weight and is stored in the freezer for self pickup. Finally, I weighed the label. It seems that our store weighs 56 pounds. It is said that some stores charge for free Mandarin ducks if the pot is spicy. I don't know if it's true hahaha. We had a turbulent meal and thought we had to eat more than 100 yuan, but when we checked out, our happiness immediately skyrocketed several times
When I finished the last bite of soy milk and returned to the hotel, it was already past 3am. There were still so many restaurants open in the early morning, and Chongqing is also a city that never sleeps
The next day, I woke up early and had a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Looking out the window, it was indeed foggy everywhere
Successfully clocked in Chongqing Xiaomian and Fermented Glutinous Rice rice dumpling and set off for Hongya Cave
Our hotel is not far from the subway station and can be reached on foot
Take the light rail to reach Xiaoshizi Station
Scenic spots such as Hongya Cave Monument to the people's Liberation Yangtze River Cableway are not far away from here
The famous Arhat Temple is next to the light rail station
Hongyadong, formerly known as Hongyamen, is one of the ancient gates of Chongqing, located on the banks of the Jialing River.
Nowadays, it is basically a commercial street, but the architecture has a very traditional style of Ba Yu architecture, which can be considered as a folk commercial and cultural street. If possible, it's best to come at night. Popular hot pot restaurants such as Pei Jie and Chaotianmen are also nearby, and enjoying the night view after eating hot pot is very nourishing. The Hongya Cave is most beautiful from 18:00 to 22:00 at night, with the lights shining under the cover of the night, making it a great night scene.
Hotpot base ingredients that can be seen everywhere
There is also a big pot for stir frying the base ingredients
I ate rose brown sugar ice powder here and set off for Monument to the people's Liberation
At this moment, we both made a fool of ourselves. Actually, we should have returned to the ground and walked straight over. We foolishly followed the Hongya Cave to the riverbank, but we ended up walking along the winding mountain road all the way back. Not only was it tiring, but we also wasted a lot of time sweating profusely
Monument to the people's Liberation is also a very famous commercial street, which is a bit similar to Wangfujing in Beijing. We probably strolled around and then retreated. After all, we were not interested in shopping malls. Time was tight and we couldn't hurry to go to the Yangtze River cableway to have a look
On the way, I accidentally found a spicy chicken offal shop and solved my lunch problem. It should be an old shop that has been open for many years and has many locals
I ordered a large pot of soaked chicken feet mixed with bullfrog, which is rich in content and includes chicken hearts, chicken gizzards, intestines, bullfrogs, celery, bean sprouts, and more. The rice is free and comes with a sour and spicy flavor, making it very satisfying to eat. After one meal, I only ate over 80 yuan, which is a great value
A bowl full of goose intestines
After finishing our meal, we went to the Yangtze River Cableway and before we even arrived, we saw a long queue lined up at the entrance. The reason was that we didn't sit there, we just watched a few times at the observation deck before leaving. Everyone who wants to experience the Yangtze River Cableway must be mentally prepared. We have to queue for at least two hours, and if we want to experience it, it's best to buy round-trip tickets directly
After taking a few photos and videos, he retreated and rushed to today's last stop, Liziba Light Rail Station, without stopping
I have also been to Chongqing before. The light rail station, which was not very famous at that time, has now become a popular check-in spot for internet celebrities. My dad and I took advantage of the advantageous position a few stops in advance to take photos without any obstruction hahaha
It is suggested that you should take the light rail directly from Monument to the people's Liberation, because it is very easy to get stuck here and delay time, especially in the evening when the light rail is very congested. It is better to take the photo position one or two stops in advance, or a large number of passengers will be piled up at the window when you get to Liziba
My dad and I both think that the scenery before Liziba was already very beautiful, except that there was no passing through the building. The actual speed of passing through the building was also very slow, and there was no particularly surprising feeling as imagined
Successful completion of today's clocking and departure for the airport to fly to Xizang
Here is a small episode. Because of the rainstorm, our first flight was delayed indefinitely. We both got delayed meals. The more we ate, the cooler we got. We were afraid of delaying our trip
Fortunately, it was delayed by nearly 3 hours before successfully taking off
I arrived in Lhasa smoothly around midnight
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->& gt;>>>>>
Day 2: Basongcuo - Dingdinggou Tianfo Waterfall - Sejila Mountain (distant view of Nanga Bawa Peak) - Lulang Linhai - Lulang Town
The first day in Xizang, I felt a little uncomfortable when I got up early. I felt a little headache. After drinking a lot of hot water, I felt a little relieved. After having breakfast in the hotel, I temporarily left Lhasa and headed for Linzhi. The first stop was Basongcuo
Basongcuo is located in Gongbujiangda County, Nyingchi, and is a famous sacred lake of the Red Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, with a high religious status. The lake is green and gentle, surrounded by green mountains, and the scenery is very beautiful. The Cuozong Gongba Temple on Huxin Island has a long history, with special sculptures and buildings, and is also a holy place for praying.
The tourism development of Basongcuo Scenic Spot is relatively mature, and it is a relatively old scenic spot in Xizang. After entering the scenic area, you need to take a sightseeing bus to play. On the way, you usually stop at three points, namely the lakeside island, the observation deck, and the stuttering village. In addition, there are yachts in the scenic area that can enjoy the lake, and an additional fee of about 100 yuan is required.
The central island of the lake can be accessed through a pedestrian walkway built on the surface of the lake. The Cuozong Gongba Temple on the island was built in the late Tang Dynasty, and the reefs on the island are carved with unique animal images and Buddha statues, which are particularly magical. The observation deck is not far from the central island of the lake, and the angle here is slightly higher, allowing you to overlook the lake and the island. The most classic photo of Basongcuo comes from here. Stuttering village is a quiet village by the lake. Many tourist groups visiting Basongcuo do not stop here, but instead contribute to the tranquility and leisure here. The village has a somewhat Swiss town style, which is very good. (Excerpted Ctrip attraction introduction hahaha)
The lake water is clear to the bottom, and you can see many fish swimming in it
Basongcuo is the first and only national 5A scenic spot in Xizang
I have to exclaim that my wife is really beautiful! The blue transparency of the lake exceeds expectations!! No need for filters at all. Just take a photo and it looks beautiful
Today's second stop is the Dinggou Tianfo Waterfall, which should be considered the most valuable attraction of this trip. In my impression, the ticket price is 20 yuan
Behind the waterfall with a vertical drop of 200 meters, there is a naturally formed Buddha statue
When the water volume is low, there is a noticeable presence of a goddess on the side, and one cannot help but marvel at the wonders of nature
You can walk directly below the waterfall in about half an hour. When the rocks are a bit slippery, you need to slow down a bit
When we walked directly below the waterfall, the amount of water was particularly large, and it felt like it was raining. When we went, it wasn't even the rainy season, and it had already instantly wetted me
If you have a coat and raincoat, it's best to put them on when you walk under the waterfall. Pay special attention during the rainy season, otherwise they may get soaked and blown through
I left Dingding Gou smoothly and arrived at the Sejila Mountain Observation Deck before the sun set. The altitude is 4720, and when I got off the car, I felt a little floaty under my feet
Even luckier than seeing the sunset is that we saw the main peak of Mount Namjagbawah, which looked like a mirage above the clouds. The excitement was indescribable in an instant
Mount Nanjiabawa is one of the most anticipated views of this trip. It is one of the most beautiful peaks in China, and the whole mountain is like a lying girl hiding in the clouds for more than 200 days a year, so it is also called the Shameful Girl Peak. We were very lucky to be able to see it, but after taking photos for 5 minutes, the mountain peak was completely covered by clouds and couldn't be seen anymore
Just in a hurry, my dad and I had sex for half a month. It's so beautiful! How lucky!!! I feel like all the other peaks I saw later pale in comparison
Continuing forward from the observation deck, passing through the Lulanglin Sea, we arrived at Lulang Town
The town underwent another round of improvement two years ago, and it is a very beautiful and quiet pasture, similar to Hemu Village in Xinjiang
The Evergrande Hotel where I stayed was also highly praised for its tranquility and unique features
There is an oxygen machine in the hotel room, and if you feel unwell, you can get oxygen anytime. It's quite thoughtful
Put down your luggage, put on your coat, and come out to eat a pot of stone pot chicken
The chicken, in its original flavor, contains goji berries and sand ginseng. Finally, a delicious hot soup with some vegetables is added to drive away the fatigue and discomfort of the day. It's so comfortable, perfect for the first day
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->& gt;>>>>>
Day 3: Buddha Palm Sand Dune - Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon - Sosun Village - Milin County
The next day, I woke up and opened the automatic curtains of the hotel. Through the large french window, I saw a quiet scene in front of me. I felt my heart was also quiet and fresh air was sucked into my lungs
I packed my luggage and arrived at the self-service restaurant on the basement level of the hotel. I couldn't help but open my eyes wide and say, 'Wow!'
The large french window is more than ten meters high. Sit down beside the window, eat tsamba Kasai, drink sweet tea, butter tea and chew milk residue
Looking at the distant forest, the sea of clouds, the nearby river, the occasional yaks running by, and the Tibetan girl chasing after them, I suddenly felt like I didn't want to leave
The most enjoyable moment of Lu Lang's trip to the fairyland of heaven on earth was too beautiful
After breakfast, head towards the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon
On the way, we will first pass by the Niyang Scenic Observation Deck and take photos here. We met a cute little dog who is not afraid of people, so we seized the opportunity to take a group photo~
Yaks can be seen everywhere on the mountain road (at first, I would take pictures every time, but later I found out that the frequency of encountering cows and sheep is extremely high)
Before reaching the Grand Canyon, you will first pass through the Buddha Palm Sand Dune, which is a naturally formed sand mountain located at the corner of the river
It is said that every time the wind blows, some sand is naturally formed, and because the shape is too uncertain, the ticket office that was built before was later buried by sand, so now it can only be viewed from a distance and is no longer open. When the sunshine is good, the sand dunes and their reflections are like folded Buddha's palms, hence the name Buddha Palm Sand Dune
Drive for about an hour and you will arrive at the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon Scenic Area. There are two types of entrance tickets for the scenic area: one with meals and one without. Personally, I recommend the one with meals because there are not many places to eat around the Grand Canyon. During the entire tour, the stops are all selling fruits, cold drinks, popsicles, etc. Therefore, it is best to come in and have a meal
There are many self-service restaurants with meat, vegetables, soup, and good food quality. If possible, it's best to avoid staggered meals. However, if you can't make a mistake, you don't have to rush to pick up your food and slowly find a spot. Travel groups have dining time restrictions, so restaurants with high turnover rates have slippery floors. Walk slowly and be careful not to fall. After dining, remember to collect your plate yourself
The restaurant came out and we took the scenic bus to the station. We waited for about half an hour and then got on the bus. There was a dedicated bus and seat with a tour guide who would briefly explain the attractions we were going to. The tour time at each stop was about 15-25 minutes, which was quite abundant and easy to play with
In March and April, in Suosong Village, you can see clusters of peach blossom villages and rivers, snow capped mountains, and peach blossoms complementing each other beautifully
There are also opportunities to walk to the bank and have a close contact with the the Yarlung Zangbo River along the way
The innermost and most beautiful stage stop, if you're lucky, you can see Mount Nanga Bawa, which is the best and closest observation point. However, it is said that there are more than 280 days in a year where you can't see it, especially in summer when the clouds and mist are lingering. The probability of seeing it is smaller, and in winter when the sky is clear and there is less rain, the probability of seeing it is higher. The most beautiful stage is the last stop, and after that, vehicles will return the same way
When you come back, it's a good opportunity to take pictures of the canyon. The tour guide on board will also remind everyone to pay attention, so be sure not to fall asleep
Coming out of the Grand Canyon and heading to Milin County, Milin is a very quiet and clean small county town. The whole county is just a main street, and you can walk to the end in half an hour. There are many places to eat and supermarkets, and I searched online for a sour soup yak meat restaurant. I'm happy to go grass pulling
You can order a combination of yak meat and beef offal, with plenty of ingredients that are particularly satisfying to eat or dip in the homemade dipping sauce in the store, both of which are very good
After a few bowls of sour and fragrant hot soup, my overall spirit improved a lot. When I came out, it started to rain lightly. Fortunately, I was not far from where I lived and asked the shopkeeper for a plastic bag to put on my head. I rushed back and had a comfortable sleep to prepare for tomorrow
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->& gt;>>>>>
Day 4: Ramla Co - Dagu Scenic Area - Shannan
Although the hotel breakfast is relatively abundant, in order to avoid vomiting and losing control due to altitude sickness, we casually took a light bite. If you are afraid of discomfort, please try to eat light food with less oil, less salt, and more hot water, which will be much better
On the way, we passed by a sand dune and came down to play with great enthusiasm. We also encountered a small horse chasing after us
Afterwards, I passed by the Wolong Stone and looked at the huge stones on the riverbank. I have been studying with Chun Ge to find out which one looks more like a dragon. However, Master Li came over and revealed that because this place is called Wolong, the scenic spot is called Wolong Stone
On the way, I stopped at a bend in a canyon to rest and accidentally discovered many lizards
I had small noodles and beef noodles in the small county town, but they were too spicy and had no problem with the taste. I bought Nyingchi yogurt at the local market and drove it for about an hour before finally reaching the last road to Lamraco around 2pm in the afternoon
The highlight of today's trip is also one of the scenic spots that Xizang is looking forward to this time. Lamlaco, which means "auspicious Tianmu Lake" in Tibetan, is said to be the observation place for selecting spirit children, and also the place where many Tibetans will come to make pilgrimages. It is said that they can see their past lives in the lake
The most beautiful scenery is often in places where people rarely go. This is true. Although Ramla is not a very niche attraction, due to its high altitude and the need to climb mountains in over 5000 places, there have been very few tourists since then
When arriving at the first gate of the scenic area, the whole car needs to get off for security check and leave everyone's ID card to exchange for a pass. After passing through a speed measuring mountain road of more than 40 kilometers, we can reach the final foot of the mountain. Before reaching the foot of the mountain, the scenery along the way is already beautiful enough. Snow mountains, canyons, rivers, grasslands, cows and sheep winding slowly up to the parking lot in Ramraco, with an altitude of about 5100 meters
It is strongly recommended that everyone take a few breaths of oxygen before climbing the mountain, as it will be much better during the subsequent climbing process. When climbing, it is good to bring some hot water and a small tank of oxygen. Be sure to carry light equipment because carrying more things will make you more tired
Although the height of the vertical ascent is less than 300 meters, my dad and I took about 10 breaks between walks and stops, took a few breaths of oxygen, and successfully reached the summit for over an hour
At the moment when I saw the lake, to be honest, I felt a little tearful and inexplicably excited
The mood of Lamlaco during this trip was about 7 hours, driving for 2 hours, hiking to the top of the 5300 meter mountain in Shanghai, seeing the dream of Lamlaco, encountering the encouragement of local pilgrims twice in the process, so excited that he cried, inhaled a can of oxygen twice, vomited twice, but at the moment when he really saw the beautiful scenery, it was worth the pain and fatigue. Thank you, Master Li and Brother Chun, for taking care of Xizang. Xizang is beautiful
The time it took to descend the mountain was relatively short, about half an hour, and the rest time was also relatively short, about three or four times before getting off to the parking lot. At that time, I felt a little uncomfortable drifting down the mountain
When I was traveling south of the mountain, I passed by the Dagu Scenic Area because I had a headache starting from the descent, so I felt groggy and half asleep. I didn't see much of the scenery, but according to my dad, the scenery is even more beautiful than the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, with snow capped mountains, rivers, and rainbows that can be seen everywhere
It's already about 10:00 pm when we arrive at Shannan, and we have a bowl of Congee to sleep in a hurry
Friendly reminder: always bring some food and hot water with you in the car. If you feel hungry or uncomfortable, take a few bites. Do not go hungry, otherwise the discomfort will worsen
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->& gt;>>>>>
Day 5: Gangbala Mountain Pass - Yangzhuoyongcuo - Langkazi - Lhasa
In the morning, I still felt a little dizzy. After a simple drink of Congee in the hotel, I felt a little relieved and left for the famous Yanghu Lake
Yang Zhuoyongcuo, known as the Yanghu Lake, is one of the three holy lakes in Xizang. The lake water will show different blues under the sunshine at different times. It is very beautiful
Along the way, I encountered many Tibetan people who were wandering around the mountains. I saw many sky ladders painted on the mountains and heard that they happened to be on a special day, so I have a lot of personality
I bought a ticket at the entrance of Yanghu Scenic Area and drove up the mountain. On the way, there were several observation decks with different heights, but the views were similar. You can watch whichever deck has fewer people and view from there. There will be lambs, yaks, and Tibetan Mastiffs on the observation deck. They can be photographed for basically 10 yuan each. Tibetan Mastiffs are very gentle and obedient. If you want to take pictures, you can have a photo
Reminder: Before taking a photo, be sure to ask whether it's a casual photo for 10 yuan or a photo for 10 yuan each
When we came down from Yanghu Lake, my father and I experienced varying degrees of altitude sickness. When we arrived at Langkazi Town for lunch at noon, my condition became very bad and I kept vomiting water. Fortunately, my father and Master Li took me to the local health clinic for timely oxygen therapy
At that time, both my father and I had very low blood oxygen levels and high blood oxygen levels. After inhaling oxygen for an hour each, the doctor advised us not to continue climbing and to go to places with relatively lower altitudes. Therefore, the original plan to go to Zhasi and Karura Glacier in the afternoon was cancelled, and we decided to return to Lhasa temporarily
Thank you to my dad for discovering the problem in a timely manner and taking me to the clinic. Thank you to Sister Xiqian for helping me adjust my schedule, and also thank Master Li for pulling us all the way back to Lhasa
The car slowly drove towards Lhasa, and our feeling got better and better. After entering the city center of Lhasa, our headache had eased a lot. However, for safety reasons, we still went to the People's Hospital to have a blood test, take a picture, and measure our blood pressure. After checking together, there were no major problems. After inhaling oxygen for an hour, we felt refreshed hahaha. I didn't expect that the first time we went to the emergency room for oxygen therapy was in Lhasa. I later summarized this experience and said, "The first time I felt so close to the sky and so close to heaven," but it was also a special experience
Later on, I recalled that if I had taken oxygen before going up the mountain or if I had taken oxygen in a timely manner when feeling uncomfortable while going down to Ramla, this situation might not have occurred
Here are two points to remind everyone: First, if you have mild altitude sickness and headache in Xizang, you can drink some hot water or take a tablet of Tylenol and other painkillers to get used to it. But if you feel that your headache is too bad to ignore, you must take oxygen in time and not try to carry it by yourself. Second, the altitude climb must be slow. If there is plenty of time, stay in Linzhi or Lhasa for two more days before going to the next area. Don't crash to 5300 4700 on the third day and the fourth day. High altitude areas like 5300 4700 are prone to plateau reactions
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->& gt;>>>>>
[Day 6: Norbulingka -- Sera Temple -- Sera Temple Scripture Debate -- Sera Temple Sweet Tea House -- Bakuo Street -- Potala Palace Square -- Yaowang Mountain -- Night View of Potala Palace Square]
Due to the high altitude sickness, the itinerary originally scheduled to go to Shigatse has been changed, and the last day of the Lhasa trip has been split and changed to a two-day city tour. Although we didn't have the opportunity to visit temples or glaciers this time, the journey in the city has become more comfortable and rewarding
After breakfast, I went to Norbulingka first. Norbulingka means treasure garden, also known as summer palace. It's a little bit more beautiful than the garden buildings in the south of the Yangtze River. There are a lot of relics and treasures in it. There are hundreds of plants and flowers. When I came to Norbulingka in summer, all kinds of flowers vied to open up. The sun shone on the plants on the walls. The roof was covered with green trees. It was like a "paradise" in Lhasa
The scenic area is very large and there are small electric scooters for sightseeing. I remember it should be around 20 or 25 for one person. If you don't feel like walking or don't have enough time, you can choose to take a private car. The driver of the car will give a brief introduction throughout the journey. When you go in and out for sightseeing, if the car is not at the door, just wait a moment. It's also convenient to take the same car to the next palace
When we went there, the weather was very nice and rarely allowed us to slowly explore. Our gaze passed through the leaves and shone onto the steps and palace walls, smelling the faint aroma of butter. I felt my heart also calm down
It should be noted that the Summer Palace has dress code requirements for tourists, and girls should not wear clothes such as skirts, shorts, vests, etc
If you think wearing a skirt looks good, you can wear a long sleeved skirt like me and then wear leggings underneath (after all, it's a bit cool in the Summer Palace, even if you wear pants, you won't feel hot)
After leaving the Summer Palace, I went straight to Sera Monastery. Sera Monastery is located on the outskirts of Lhasa city, and according to Master Li, it's almost out of the city
There are many vegetarian restaurants and tea houses at the entrance of the temple, as well as Nepalese style restaurants and cafes. Since we arrived early, we chose to have a Nepalese style vegetarian meal at the entrance, which is mostly self-service, with curry as the main dish. We also made homemade yogurt, pizza, curry, and spices, which have a strong flavor but still feel delicious. The price is also relatively affordable, so we can eat slowly until we are satisfied. Hahaha, after eating and resting for a while, we left for the Sera Monastery
Here I want to remind you that when you come to Xizang, you should prepare some change, such as one yuan and ten yuan. When you eat, you may encounter children asking for money. It's also very important to give some change
Sera Monastery is one of the three major monasteries in Lhasa and the second largest monastery in the Tibetan region. It houses many Buddha statues, scriptures, and thangkas
You can find a tour guide at the entrance to explain the culture, which may be more conducive to understanding the culture, and you can also go to places that you cannot visit on your own
In addition, the Ma Tou Ming Wang Hall houses the famous Ma Tou Ming Wang statue from Sera Monastery. Ma Tou Ming Wang is a guardian deity of Tibetan Buddhism's Esoteric Buddhism, with powerful magical powers that can ward off evil spirits and relieve difficulties. Legend has it that this statue of Ma Tou Ming Wang was created by the founder of the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism, Master Tsongkhapa, who heard the sound of a horse neighing while walking and excavated underground along the sound. Therefore, it has powerful exorcism power in Tibetan Buddhist legends. This is also a key point for believers to visit Sera Monastery. They can join the ranks of believers to pray and ward off evil spirits. During the worship, I encountered many Tibetan people holding their children who were said to be praying for their blessings
Sera Monastery is quite famous, and the debate on scriptures is also a key attraction for visitors here. The debate on scriptures starts at 3pm in the afternoon and takes place at the debate venue located north of the temple. Except for Sundays and special holidays, it is held every day until 5pm
When debating scriptures, monks often sit on the ground and stand opposite each other with exaggerated movements. Our tour guide explains the debate scriptures at Sera Monastery, where monks with similar knowledge ask each other questions related to their philosophy or scriptures every afternoon. It's a bit like a daily exam, but also a bit like intense debate. Monks clap their hands once to say "are you ready?" and clap twice to say "answer quickly." Continuous clapping is urging the other party. Stamping their feet is to step on their ignorance and using Buddha beads to roll on their arms is to use the wisdom and power of Manjushri Bodhisattva to defeat their opponents. The Buddha beads draw a circle on the other's head to indicate that the other party has lost. After the explanation, it feels even better to look at them. Got it
The back mountain of Sera Monastery is located relatively high, with a panoramic view of Lhasa city from the top. If you have enough physical strength, you can climb it, but the height is about 500 meters, which may take three to four hours. Everyone should do their best.
The Sera Monastery Sweet Tea House, located at the entrance of Sera Monastery, was a pleasant surprise this time. It has a very unique and mostly locals. The owner can speak simple Chinese, milk tea, butter tea, which is very delicious because they are all local Tibetans who come to eat and drink tea. I think it should also be very authentic. Spend 8 yuan to order a pot of tea or eat Tibetan noodles, and enjoy a leisurely afternoon under the mottled tree shadows in the courtyard. It's very comfortable
After leaving the entrance of Sera Monastery, there is a bus back to the city. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the station. We took the bus directly to Barkhor Street. In my impression, it should be No. 22 and got off at Cuomelin Station. Just walk a little further and the Lhasa bus is unmanned and self operated. Therefore, it is very important to keep a little change of one yuan
Bakuo Street, also known as Bajiao Street, is a millennium old street that best represents Xizang's folk customs. Now it has been listed as one of the "Top Ten Historic and Cultural Streets in China"
The Jokhang Temple is also located in Barkhor Street. Every day, many people come here to turn the sutras. There are many residential residences and small shops next to the Jokhang Temple turning path, which are very unique and can be considered as a must visit destination for tourism in Lhasa
It's still early to leave Barkhor Street
So we walked for about two kilometers and arrived at the Potala Palace Square, which is a great place to take photos of the Potala Palace
Especially by the lake in the park, beautiful reflections can be captured on sunny days, and it is also the best place to capture night scenes at night
Of course, we must come early to occupy a favorable position, or we won't be able to get it at all until dark in Xizang. But when it gets dark very late, we basically have to wait until about 9:30. If we are hungry, we can eat first and then wait for about two hours
After climbing up the small platform next to the Potala Palace Square, Yaowang Mountain is a place to take a photo of the scenery on the back of 50 yuan RMB. You can hold RMB and take a check-in photo
On the platform at the mountaintop, there is a pigeon that is completely unafraid of people
At night, there will be a large music fountain on the square of the Potala Palace. Through the water spray of the fountain, the Potala Palace will have a hazy beauty
At around 10 pm, I finally had dinner. I ordered rock roasted Tibetan fragrant pig, potato buns, and saffron stir fried Linzhi mushroom. It was the most delicious meal I've had these days
However, because it's too oily and not very comfortable to eat, it's evident that a light diet should be the main focus

Day 7: Nagenja Pass - Nyenchen Tanggula Observation Deck - Namtso
Today is a one-day trip to Namtso. Before departure, I heard that Namtso is repairing roads and has been on vacation for more than two years. It has not been fixed yet. When we arrived at Namtso, the road was very bumpy and bumpy for about an hour. Everyone should be mentally prepared
It takes about 5 hours to drive from Lhasa to Namco, and I ate beef noodles in the town at noon. Lanzhou Lamian Noodles is the most popular and convenient place to eat. However, because it is not easy to cook noodles at high altitude, the pressure cooker is needed, so the Lamian Noodles shops here are called "Lanzhou Steam Lamian Noodles"
According to Master Li, eating noodles is easy to digest. Lanzhou Lamian Noodles can also ensure that eating noodles is clean and drinking soup is warm
Before arriving at Lake Namco, we will first pass through the Nagen La Pass at an altitude of 5190 meters. After adapting for so many days, we don't feel uncomfortable at this altitude anymore, but the wind at the pass is very strong and it can cause facial deformities. It's best for everyone to wear a coat and a hat
After crossing the mountain pass, we drove into the Namtso Scenic Area in about an hour. From afar, the vast blue appeared before our eyes, which was an indescribable shade of blue. It felt even more beautiful when viewed from afar than when we actually went to the lake. However, the lake was not as blue as when viewed from afar
There are many seagulls (I don't know if they should be called seagulls, but they are a type of waterbird) by the lake in Namco. It's like a childlike heart bursting with joy, carrying a few small breads and feeding them all the way to the lake. It's not an exaggeration to say that I feel like I can feed them here all afternoon
Attention friends who bring drones! By the lake, drones can be used. During this trip, only Basongcuo Lake and here can be used with drones, so if it's not windy, everyone must cherish the opportunity to take photos
However, it should be noted that at high altitudes, the air is relatively thin, and the lift required for the drone to take off will be relatively high. If it doesn't fly too high, it will indicate overload, so it must fly slowly. If the load is too high, it will fall into Lake Namco and be doomed
If the weather is good, you can see Mount Nyenchen Tanggula by the lake. It is said that Nyenchen Tanggula and Namco used to be a couple, and they traveled through time quietly watching each other's snow capped mountains and clear waters, complementing each other's beautiful scenery. Currently, it is quite romantic
The way back is bumpy again, and I feel like my body is not strong. It's not easy to make a trip to Namtso, but it's worth enduring to see the beautiful scenery
On the way, we saw a small fork in the road leading to Bango, which was originally planned to go towards the direction of the Holy Elephant Gate. It would take another four hours to get there by laying stones on the grassland. Therefore, if you want to go to the Holy Elephant Gate, you must be mentally prepared for the chaos

Day 8: Barkhor Street - Jokhang Temple - Jokhang Temple Square - Potala Palace - Potala Palace Square - Rupiyan Temple - Gongga Airport
The itinerary for the last day itself was quite full, but because it was previously divided into two days, today's itinerary became very loose. In summary, it includes the Jokhang Temple and the Potala Palace
Before the Jokhang Temple Square, I had already come to Barkhor Street, but when I arrived in the morning, it was a different scene. There will be many Tibetans on the Jokhang Temple's prayer path, and of course, there will also be many Tibetans waiting to worship and offer butter inside the Jokhang Temple
If you don't have your own tour guide, you can find a local tour guide when buying tickets at the entrance of Jokhang Temple. After all, you can't understand anything when you go in and take a tour. It's better to find someone to explain and understand the culture
There are not many places to visit in the entire temple because Tibetan people come to worship, and some places are also inaccessible, so the entire tour time is relatively fast, about an hour
The second stop is the Potala Palace. Tickets for the Potala Palace must be reserved in advance, otherwise you won't be able to enter. Currently, passengers visiting the Potala Palace are required to have a tour guide as there is a time limit in the second half. When booking tickets online, you may also find that they are for group tours with tour guides. You can book directly
The Potala Palace is now presented more like a museum to the world, and it is better to find a tour guide to follow and listen to the explanation for a better understanding of culture
Does the cloud look like a dancing phoenix
Standing at the top and looking down at the city below, I suddenly recalled the sentence, "How many secrets do a person need to hide in order to cleverly spend this life? This shining plateau is heaven in just three or two steps, but there are still so many people who cannot walk because of their heavy worries
I came out of the Potala Palace and had plenty of time, so I went to the popular yogurt shop next to the Potala Palace
Drink Ginseng fruit yogurt
I ate Liangpi cold noodles and potato chips in the streets of White Pagoda Temple, bought a local steamed bun, and sent postcards to relatives and friends
(When I bought it the day before, I didn't have time and only stamped it.)
Today, I came over to write and send at the same time. Luckily, my friend even got the seal that Chun Ge personally stamped. Hahaha
I bought a small watermelon that is said to be very sweet at the local market, and finally went to check in at the Lupuyan Temple next to a square
Lupuyan Temple was built by King Songtsen Gampo and is located on the mountainside of Yaowang Mountain opposite the Red Mountain where the Potala Palace is located. It is said that the Buddha statues of the main deity Shakyamuni and his disciples enshrined in the hall are naturally generated and later carved into reliefs by Nepalese craftsmen. Prince Gongri Gongzan was born in the nine story palace built by Princess Chizun of Nepal, known as the Zharazasi Wuliang Palace. King Songtsen Gampo and his son once lived here, with a history of about 1300 years. (I copied from Ctrip because I couldn't take photos inside the temple, so I only took one photo at the entrance.)
When I first came here a few days ago, the temple had already closed and I couldn't go, so this time it can be considered a wish. This is a very old temple, not very big, mostly locals come, and it has a strong sense of history
Because the itinerary was split into two days, there was still a lot of time left after leaving the temple, and I accidentally stumbled upon a local vegetable market
Unlike many girls who enjoy shopping in malls, I particularly enjoy visiting local markets and find them very lively and down-to-earth
Encountered the 'chicken and rabbit cage problem' in the market hahaha
It's said that the watermelon in Xizang is very sweet. I can't help coming here
Finally, buy a can of highland barley rice wine and leave for the airport to say goodbye to Xizang temporarily
However, we encountered another delay at the airport, and surprisingly, all the restaurants closed early. Unfortunately, I had to make noodles with my dad at the airport
Unlocking two flavors that I haven't tried before can be considered a harvest, hahaha

Day 9: Chongqing - Ciqikou - Nanshan Yikeshu Observation Deck - Dongting Hot Pot (Air Defense Cave Restaurant) - Jiangbei Airport - Beijing
I took another night flight to Chongqing in the early hours of the morning. Although I didn't eat, I slept relatively late, so I didn't wake up very early the next day. I took a bite of breakfast and set off for the magnet mouth
Chongqing is truly a furnace. After getting off the plane yesterday, I felt a layer of fog on my body. Now, as soon as I go out, I feel like my hair is damp and the sky is cloudy without the sun, but I feel like cucumbers and eggplants in a greenhouse are steaming and panicking
Driving is not allowed in the ancient town, so all kinds of daily necessities are carried in with the help of hardworking mountain pickers. It's really not easy
We live near the airport, so it takes about an hour to take the light rail to Ciqikou. The ancient town is not far from the subway entrance, just follow the crowd. Ciqikou is crowded with people selling various small things and snacks
To sum up, it's like strings of peanut sugar, Fried Dough Twists hot pot primer. The whole ancient town is full of spicy smell of fried primer
After eating Wonton and hot and sour powder, I bought some base materials and Fried Dough Twists, which probably came out after a while
As for the base material, it is not recommended for everyone to buy from Qiaotou. After all, you can buy it anywhere in Qiaotou, and supermarkets are cheaper than here. You must try stir fried ingredients, just seal them and send them back directly
Fried Dough Twists is very famous. Chen Fried Dough Twists is everywhere in this ancient town. But it is said that only Chen Changyin is a serious century old shop, so you must be sure when you buy it. Their Fried Dough Twists rolls look different from others. They are still crisp and delicious when you open them for half a month (but it doesn't matter if you buy them wrong, we also bought Fried Dough Twists from others and tasted seaweed.)
I have seen several times on the road selling this kind of red plum, and I was always curious. Finally, I pulled out the grass, but it turned out to be honey soaked and not delicious
I took the light rail back to the vicinity of Xiaoshizi after coming out of the Ciqikou, and then took a taxi to the Nanshan Tree Observation Deck. This is a great place to see the panoramic view of Chongqing, especially the night view. Unfortunately, we were pressed for time and only saw the misty Jialing River before returning here. Apart from taking the bus, we had to take a taxi. The transportation was not very convenient. If you can't wait for the bus, you can call a taxi by Didi to check in and pick it up
A tree in Nanshan leads up to the street of hot pot and spring water chicken. According to the taxi driver we took, there are several very authentic restaurants where locals often go to eat. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to taste them. If you have time, you can try spring water chicken. If it's too spicy, you must inform the restaurant in advance. The driver reminds us that it's best to tell the restaurant where you came from, and they will judge for themselves whether it's too spicy or not
On the way back, we took a black car and the driver reluctantly pulled us down the mountain to the Light Rail Line 2. Then we took the light rail to eat hotpot
Dongzi Hot Pot is a very unique dish here, which was renovated from the air raid shelter in the past. Therefore, although restaurants such as Peijie Chaotianmen are very popular on the internet, I am still determined to come and have Dongzi Hot Pot to perform a real-life version of the hot pot hero hahaha
Dongting Hot Pot is a particularly popular restaurant here, especially this air raid shelter restaurant. We arrived in the afternoon after 4pm and were very lucky to occupy one of the last two empty tables. Their home is divided into two people, four people, and many people. This means that if you only have two people going and find that there are still empty seats, but you can't sit if it's not for two people, it will result in less than 5 restaurants already waiting for seats. When we finished eating and left, it was less than 6 restaurants and the entrance was already filled with people
The dishes on the plate are not big, but the amount is quite large. I ordered eels, duck intestines, shredded fish, waist slices, louvered fatty intestines, old meat slices, sweet potato powder, brown sugar rice cake, and small crispy meat. When they were served plate by plate, my dad looked at me with a shocked expression and asked me how much was left
Although I ordered a lot, I was super satisfied with the food and the average person at such a large table is only a little over 100. It's really worth it
The Congee and pickles are all self-service or very convenient to eat. Hi, then I went to the airport
During the two-hour flight delay, I silently took two more bites of packaged crispy meat and rice cake. I want to remind everyone that it's really delicious to eat hot. Crispy meat is not bad because it contains Sichuan peppercorns to relieve greasiness or fragrant rice cake. It's really oily when it's cold, so it's best to eat it while it's hot
Smooth boarding, smooth takeoff, and smooth landing
Hello, let's go home. Although the nights in Beijing are a bit hot, they are considered cool for us who have just returned from the fireplace
I also unexpectedly received a special souvenir, a Everest mineral water bottle compressed by the pressure difference
My father said that this is more meaningful than all souvenirs, because if you want this effect again, you can only go back to Xizang hahaha
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->& gt;>>>>>
On this journey, when experiencing altitude sickness and discomfort, I feel that time passes very slowly. After slowing down, I suddenly feel that time passes very quickly
I didn't expect to say goodbye to Xizang in a twinkling of an eye. After suffering and tiring, I also saw a more beautiful scene in a place that was rarely visited by people
Thank you, Sister Xiqian, for helping us adjust the hotel. Thank you to Master Li for taking care of us all the way. Thank you to Deng Dada for taking us to the emergency room. Thank you to all the smiling faces and help we encountered along the way
Walk through snow mountains, Rivers and Lakes, walk through forests, grasslands and deserts, turn around temples, old streets, and marvel at the breathtaking scenery in front of us, and also move the simple and enthusiastic Tibetans around us
This is a journey of "going through life and death" and also a journey of "loving others is loving oneself". In the future life, we should carry this kindness and gratitude to pass on care and warmth to more people. I always believe that the people around us are better, and this world is better, so we will also become better along with them
Finally, a warm reminder from Rainy Rain Girl:

[Precautions for initial arrival in Xizang and altitude response]
1. In addition to maintaining a normal mindset, walking as slowly as possible, avoiding vigorous exercise, drinking more water, eating more fruits, and getting sufficient rest are the best ways to prevent altitude sickness. Never let the altitude climb too fast in a short period of time.
2. Do not drink alcohol, smoke less, and avoid overeating. Please bring your own American ginseng tablets or health supplements such as Rhodiola rosea and Gaoyuan An to alleviate altitude sickness.
3. On the first night of arrival in Xizang, try to use the hotel's kettle to boil water and drink, adapt to the local water and soil, and avoid acclimatization.
4. Try not to bathe or wash your hair when you first arrive in Xizang. Hot water will speed up blood circulation and aggravate hyperreflexia. Moreover, the temperature difference between morning and night in Xizang is large, and it is easy to catch cold when taking a bath or washing your hair. You must pay attention to keeping warm.
If you can drink hot water, try to drink more hot water as much as possible, and the symptoms of hyperalgesia will be greatly reduced.
6. Be sure to eat, and even if you feel uncomfortable, you should eat something. The less you eat, the more uncomfortable it will be. Try to have light meals, and don't overeat and burden your stomach.
7. Xizang has strong sunshine, so it is recommended to take sunscreen measures when traveling, such as sunglasses, sunscreen, and sun visors.
8. The climate in Xizang is dry. It is recommended to carry lipstick. When the nose is very dry, you can use a cotton swab dipped in water to gently smear it. Do not pick it with your hands.
9. Mild dizziness, chest tightness, and headache are all normal reactions. Maintain a good mindset, and if the pain is unbearable, you can take some painkillers. Ibuprofen and other headache medications must be available, and do not attempt to handle high reflux headaches on your own. But when choosing medication, one should consider the stimulation it may cause to the stomach, and try to minimize the stimulation as much as possible. After all, you can't eat much when you have a headache.
10. When arriving at the hotel, please open the windows for ventilation and try not to open them too wide to avoid catching a cold.
11. The temperature difference between morning and evening in summer in Xizang is large. It is recommended to bring a slightly thicker jacket and sweater for adding clothes in the morning and evening. In addition, short sleeves, thin sweaters, shirts, long skirts, thin down jackets and so on need to be prepared in advance depending on the itinerary. Xizang can experience the four seasons in one day. Take warm clothes with dry food, and be prepared. In addition, sports shoes are most suitable.
When entering the temple, women are not allowed to wear revealing clothing such as short skirts, shorts, vests, etc.
13. If you want to watch Princess Wencheng's performance, please be aware that the performance will take place outdoors. When going to watch the performance, please wear more clothes to avoid catching a cold. If you don't bring it, you can rent a cotton coat on site.
