In the past two years, Chongqing, as one of the municipalities directly under the central government, has become the hottest tourist check-in city in China. Whether it is its geographical conditions, cultural landscapes, or food culture, it has become a reason for tourists from all over the country to visit and worship. During this year's national holiday, Chongqing undoubtedly became the city with the highest number of tourists.
LZ's husband has never been to Chongqing, so he is definitely out of touch in the current situation. In the second half of the year's family travel plan, no matter where we go, we have to arrange Chongqing, which is why we achieved this nine day and eight night trip to Chongqing and Guizhou! The departure time was October 8th, and we had a proper off peak travel. After the National Day holiday, we started our family trip as a couple without any delay!!

Before the start of the main text
Can you explain the title of this trip - Health, Depth depth Due to the relaxed schedule, there is ample time to experience leisure time other than clocking in scenery. Take the subway, bus, or measure the city with your feet, shuttle through unknown alleys and streets, taste street snacks, run and exercise in unfamiliar cities, and integrate into the lives of locals; This health is due to our husband and wife's emphasis on body management, with a focus on healthy living as the main theme. This trip basically continued the style of having two meals a day, using limited calories for meals, so the sharing of food in the travelogue is relatively scarce. In addition, walking is the main way to travel, with a daily walking volume of about 20000 steps. If possible, you can also go for a night run or morning run. The benefits of doing so are that you can eat more while not experiencing too much pain after the trip due to the large contrast.
Alright, after introducing the purpose and philosophy of this trip, we will now enter the main text of the travelogue.
DAY1
I got on the train at Beijing West Station at noon, so excited! The journey has begun!
The blue and transparent weather in Beijing. I didn't expect this to be the only blue sky I would see in the next nine days....
The final destination is Chengdu, and the arrival time is more suitable than Chongqing.
In the modern society where speed is the key to success, it is still not very common to take such slow and steady modes of transportation. During the long journey, the activity area is relatively small and the internet is intermittent. The only exciting pastime is to go to the dining car for a meal. Nowadays, the prices of food trucks are relatively reasonable, and the chefs' skills are also good. After all, they are Sichuan cuisine chefs who can show off their skills to some extent.
The menu of the dining car is so simple and unadorned.
Because we had two meals a day, we were extremely hungry and ordered four dishes, making us the biggest customers in the entire food truck. This is Twice cooked pork more expensive than tiled fish!
DAY2
I arrived at Chongqing North Station almost half an hour earlier than the scheduled time, and I don't know if I should praise my good character or if it's too good!
It is said that Chongqing is a slow paced city where one must enjoy a slow paced lifestyle. The condition for a slow life is that everything is slow, which means we cannot wait for the first subway train at the train station for an hour. Helpless, one can only take a taxi to the city center, which is also the price of a slow life. Everything has its two sides, and if you like it, you must accept it all.
Fortunately, there were no traffic jams during the early Qing Dynasty. Just after 6 o'clock, we arrived at the Liangjiang Impression Hotel located by the Hongyadong and Jialing rivers (we have been accustomed to it for many years, and all hotels on our itinerary were booked through Ctrip). We stayed here for two nights in Chongqing, and our impression of the hotel was its superior location, so we went to Hongyadong three times in two days. What's even more commendable is that upon arriving at the hotel at 6am, we were arranged to check in directly, which really moved us.
Put down your luggage and set off for the Yangtze River Cableway, walking for 10 minutes. Because I didn't pay special attention to the time of the first cableway, I waited for 45 minutes at the cableway station before boarding the first cableway with a few locals. The Yangtze River Cableway is an important check-in spot for internet celebrities, and queuing for two to three hours is not uncommon. But the result we were waiting for was an empty cableway box, a cableway station for casual photography, where we could take pictures as we wanted, without any pedestrians as backgrounds. We asked if you enjoyed it! May I ask if this wait is worth it!
As a means of transportation for locals, we are a rarity!
Smoke lingers, the foggy city of Chongqing!
A single trip takes 7-8 minutes, and the return journey also involves direct transfer without queuing. After 20 minutes, we have returned to the starting point.
It is also a 10 minute walk from the cableway station to Monument to the people's Liberation. There were few tourists at Monument to the people's Liberation in the morning, but the gloomy weather was not beautiful, and half of the tall buildings were hidden in dark clouds.
This kind of steep slope is too common in Chongqing.
The delicious street on Bayi Road in the morning was deserted, and we walked around casually without buying anything or eating anything.
Passing the steamed bun shop, I tasted the local steamed buns, and also ate tofu pudding and noodles. For locals, it may not be authentic, but for outsiders, authentic flavors may not be fully accepted. We just taste its freshness.
I forgot the name of Xiaomian
Tofu pudding is just tofu flower. From Chongqing to Guiyang, there are too many delicious foods about tofu pudding.
After breakfast, take the subway to check in at the magnetic checkpoint. Off topic statement: I have always thought that the word 'clock in' is very vivid, fast and emotionless, but I have to do it. Nowadays, many internet celebrities are in this situation, being hyped up by the internet to the point of boiling. However, when they actually go there, they realize that it's not like this, which is far from imagination. The magnetic mouth is such an existence for us.
Go by subway.
Ancient streets with similar styles and identical products. Ciqikou's selling points lie in the ups and downs of the street, the Jialing River at the end of the street, and the overwhelming hot pot ingredients, chili beef sauce and Fried Dough Twists. These foods have little to do with our healthy diet, so we didn't buy anything again. Hurriedly crossing the entire ancient street, walking all the way to the riverbank, and then returning to the starting point from outside the ancient street, took less than an hour.
At ten o'clock, we had already checked in three internet celebrities, and this speed is too fast, which is completely inconsistent with our concept of deep gaming! We had to slow down the pace, so we specifically chose to take the bus to the next popular spot. Well, there are too many popular check-in spots in Chongqing, and even the entire city is popular. How can we avoid them!
Starting station, empty carriage, randomly choose two seats, enjoy the street view and city scenery along the way, it feels particularly good.
The Liziba Light Rail Station attracts a large number of tourists, and even tour groups consider it as one of the attractions. We delayed about an hour here to shoot the same video of Tiktok, because once we didn't shoot it well, we had to wait for the next train to arrive. Time was basically wasted in waiting, and finally we didn't get the effect in Tiktok. I despise myself here.
Take the light rail directly from Liziba to Xiaoshizi Street and return to the hotel. Elderly people need to catch up on their sleep at noon, otherwise they won't be able to walk!
I spent the whole afternoon and evening wandering around near the hotel, which is the advantage of its good location. Take a photo of the daytime scenery at Hongyadong in the afternoon.
Hongyadong logo!
Qiansimen Bridge
Suggestion: Just stroll around Hongya Cave, forget about the things, don't buy them anymore, you should understand.
Speaking of which, in such a food city, it's rare for a tourist like us to finish breakfast and not eat anything for the whole day. When I see delicious food, I always habitually calculate it in my mind. If I feel that the calories are high, I will hold back. Fortunately, I have a like-minded husband, otherwise my willpower would not be enough.
During our two days in Chongqing, our only two main meals were arranged with hotpot and Chongqing cuisine. When it comes to hot pot, there are so many choices, it's simply dazzling. One hot pot restaurant after another, the air in the entire city is filled with the smell of butter pot bottom. There are many popular hot pot restaurants near Hongyadong. My husband and I have reached an agreement not to go to internet celebrity stores, but to blindly choose one nearby.
It's hard to understand the act of queuing up for a spot in an internet celebrity store. It's rare to come on a trip, how can we waste so much time waiting for a seat; Besides, how do we know that the taste of an internet celebrity store is the best; If it's just for the sake of eating on the internet's red haired social media circle, it's even more harmful. I worked hard to please others. Purely personal opinion, don't criticize if you don't like it!
We chose the Monkey Three Old Hot Pot downstairs from the hotel, which has a great environment surrounded by green plants. The seats by the window also offer a view of the street.
What we want is a Double-flavor hot pot, which is slightly spicy. My husband's stomach and intestines can't stand too much stimulation, for fear of affecting the quality of the game later. The classic garlic and sesame oil dipping sauce, paired with fresh tripe and yellow throat, is absolutely amazing.
Kelp seedlings are particularly fresh and tender, rarely seen elsewhere.
Ice powder with a lot of ingredients.
My favorite brown sugar rice cake. Enduring the temptation of delicious food for a whole day is definitely worth it, just for the sake of a satisfying dinner!
It has been proven that in Chongqing, as long as there are no closed hot pot restaurants still operating, the taste will not be bad. Don't waste your precious time just to check in with internet celebrities. After finishing eating and going out, the next door is an internet famous hotpot restaurant, where you can wait at the door.
After eating enough fish, meat, and desserts, one must go for a walk to enjoy the famous night scenery of Hongyadong.
We first went to Chaotianmen, the confluence of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River, which is a fashionable place for locals to relax, forage, and shop. It is also a gathering place for various large boats on the river. Here, you can feel the atmosphere of modern, traditional, and diverse integration.

It is also a gathering place for various large boats on the river. Here, you can feel the atmosphere of modern, traditional, and diverse integration.
Evening is the most concentrated time for tourists in Hongya Cave, and flow restrictions are also implemented at night. Everyone wants to shoot the night view of Hongya Cave on the Qiansimen Bridge, but unfortunately, this golden angle is not so easily accessible because the entrance to the bridge from Hongya Cave is blocked by human intervention and can only be accessed. That is to say, if you want to take photos at the best angle, you must first walk back and forth from the Qiansimen Bridge across from you, and finally reach the shooting location.
Since we adhere to the principle of walking more and digesting more, we resolutely stepped onto the bridge. The original drizzle was getting heavier and heavier. Without an umbrella, we could only walk silently in the rain. The rain and fog were mixed, making it impossible to take photos. We quickened our pace and walked nearly three kilometers, taking these blurry but still brightly lit photos.
DAY3
We have already set off before dawn and rented a car specifically for a one-day trip to Wulong Tiankeng Scenic Area. On this day, except for returning to Chongqing for dinner in the evening, no other meals were arranged. I brought some dry food and water and set off on the road.
Around 9 o'clock, arrive at Wulong Tiankeng Scenic Area and take the shuttle bus to the most famous Tiansheng Sanqiao Scenic Area.
The sign at the entrance of the gate. This place is famous both domestically and internationally for filming "Transformers" and "Curse of the Golden Flower".
Take the direct elevator down the mountain, which is a very majestic elevator.
Following the boardwalk all the way down the mountain, we arrived at the first bridge - Tianlong Bridge, which is also the most interesting bridge.
The unique terrain forms the connection between mountains, creating a giant stone bridge. During the off-season, there are not many tourists in the scenic area, making people even more insignificant under this huge stone bridge.
In the deep mountains lies a quiet relay station, like the dwelling place of countless ancient costume heroes, a place to practice literature and martial arts, and enjoy tranquility.
Leaving the first bridge, we arrived at the filming location of Transformers, the second bridge - Qinglong Bridge.
We walked faster than the tour group, and after leaving the first bridge, it was basically no different from the two of us booking the venue. I really enjoy the tranquility amidst this magnificent scenery.
The third bridge - Black Dragon Bridge
After the tour is completed, there are shuttle buses available at the transfer station to go to the Longshui Gorge and there are also shuttle buses available to return to the entrance. We choose to go to the origin and return directly to Chongqing.
The second day in Chongqing was much more leisurely than the first day. After returning from Wulong, I went back to the hotel to catch up on my sleep. In the afternoon, I wandered aimlessly and then went to Shengtian Traditional Sichuan Restaurant to have our last dinner in Chongqing, which was also the only main meal of the day.
This is a Sichuan cuisine restaurant located in an office building on the 36th floor. We arrived at the restaurant at 4:15 in order to grab the scenic spot. There is only one waiter guarding the door, informing that you can dine directly on the 16th floor or wait until 5 o'clock to open for business. Since you're here for the scenery, you're not afraid to wait for 45 minutes. Choose any scenic spot and enjoy the beautiful scenery while waiting, which is also a wonderful thing.
It's still foggy weather, but fortunately it's not raining anymore. We drank tea and endured hunger, waiting for the meal to start.
Okay, because LZ doesn't eat blood and doesn't eat pig organs, we don't have a signature dish for hairy blood. We ordered Sichuan specialty fish, traditional Sichuan cuisine fish flavored shredded pork, pickled Chinese cabbage rice dumpling, which we all like to eat, plus a sweet potato tip and fried chicken. The only pity is that the stewed chicken with Kung Pao chicken is too close to the taste of fish flavored shredded meat.
Consuming fish
Guoba Chicken
Fried rice dumpling
Eat and drink enough, continue walking to digest food, and choose Hongyadong as the destination. At night, the Hongyadong Scenic Area also has limited access measures. Although there is no need to purchase tickets to enter, one must first obtain the QR code of Hongyadong Scenic Area with their mobile phone and scan the code successfully before entering. So the speed of entering Hongya Cave is particularly slow, and many people are stuck at the entrance waiting for the QR code. When encountering someone who doesn't know how to operate it, it becomes even slower.
The maze like Hongya Cave, because we have been here three times in the past two days, has already cleared the door on how to avoid crowds and choose the most convenient elevator. So we first descended to the bottom and then reached the optimal ground shooting position across the road from Hongyadong at the fastest speed.
The weather on the second day was significantly better than the first day, with much clearer visibility.
The night view of Hongyadong is indeed beautiful and worth a visit. Just like the castle in Spirited Away, a dreamlike and unreal existence. Good night, Chongqing!
DAY4
Arrive at Chongqing West Station early in the morning and board the high-speed train to Guiyang.
The first thing to do upon arriving in Guiyang is to rent a car and head straight to Huangguoshu Waterfall. There are many travelogues introducing Huangguoshu Waterfall on Ctrip, but there is nothing new, so I won't repeat them. LZ has been there three times already, but this time the water volume is the highest. The first two times, he didn't need to wear a raincoat at all, but he used it this time and regrets not putting on the shoe covers. Those who are planning to go can prepare in advance or buy cheaper ones at the entrance of the scenic area. The cheaper the better, it doesn't matter if they are thinner. It doesn't hurt to throw them away after passing through the water curtain hole.
On the way back to Guiyang from Huangguoshu, we also visited Anshun Ancient Town, also known as Jiuzhou Ancient Town. The ancient town is very small, with almost no outsiders. It is the daily life of locals, so simple that there are no public toilets.
Return to Guiyang, check in and go out to search for food. There is a red soup silk doll restaurant within a 5-minute walk. It is a chain store that is very famous in the local area and has received high reviews. We, who were hungry, made a decisive choice. I didn't expect this restaurant to stop selling all the dishes that needed to be heated due to the repair of the ventilation duct. That means we could only choose to eat silk dolls, and there were no other barbecue dishes available. If we didn't want to change places, we could only have a vegan meal.
Silk dolls are made by wrapping various small dishes in cakes and dipping them in sour soup seasoning. They are mainly vegetarian, and if there are not enough other dishes besides cakes, they can be continued for free.
Half full solved dinner, not satisfied at all.
The hotel we stayed in is very close to the famous scenic spot of Jiaxiu Tower in Guiyang City. We can walk along the local Minghu Lake to Jiaxiu Tower. As we are used to running at night, we went back to the hotel to change our equipment and ran six kilometers along Minghu Lake, taking pictures of the night view of Jiaxiu Tower. Running by Minghu Lake at night with the locals, you will feel much closer to this unfamiliar city.
DAY5
Early in the morning, after sharing breakfast with a large group of elderly travel groups who were staying at the same hotel (sigh, ten thousand words omitted here...), we set off for Libo. Today's main arrangement is the Seven Holes Scenic Area.
I learned about the Seven Holes Scenic Area very late. But whether it's the scenery of the scenic area or the management and process settings, they are already very mature. There's no need to spend too much effort on strategy, just follow the route.
The big seven holes and small seven holes are purchased with a joint ticket. Because the essence is mainly concentrated in the small seven holes, the general itinerary will start from the small seven holes. After the tour, if you feel that you still have physical strength, you can go to the big seven holes again. The Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is very large, consisting of several small attractions connected by shuttle buses. There is no time limit for visiting each attraction, and you can always wait for a bus at the shuttle station to go to the next attraction.
We entered through the east gate and while waiting for the shuttle bus, the staff suggested that we could take the bus directly to the farthest scenic spot, which is to first take the bus to Wolongtan and then stop one stop back to play. The advantage of this arrangement is that the entire journey is downhill, which is relatively effortless. The fact proves that the staff's reminder really saved us a lot of energy, allowing us to have the stamina to brush the big seven holes again after the small seven holes!
The parking lot of the scenic spot in the rain and fog was raining intermittently, but I was quite satisfied and didn't have to hold an umbrella throughout the entire trip.
For Xiaoqikong, the three most impressive attractions that left the deepest impression on me now are Wolongtan, with its emerald green lake water and gentle Xiehu Lake; The second one is the water forest, with countless stones and water currents, and the entire scenic spot is basically crossed by stepping on stones; The third one is the 68 level waterfall and the small seven hole bridge, with beautiful scenery, truly magnificent!
Wolongtan Scenic Area, the iconic Xiehu Lake, is particularly beautiful.
Cuigu Waterfall, a waterfall with a huge drop and average water volume, lacks momentum!
The water forest has more abundant water due to the rain, making it more suitable to play in rain boots. However, it is not suitable for elderly people with limited mobility to play, as there are too many places for cross domain stones. Older people can skip the water forest and go directly to the next attraction.
The last attraction is the 68 level waterfall, where visitors can enjoy the scenery while descending the slope, and finally reach the historic Xiaoqikong Bridge.
Along the way, my husband delayed a bus to take a photo of this restroom. I must show it to everyone.
A very distinctive cave restroom, haha!
Next to the exit of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area is Daqikong Scenic Area, and we will take the saved energy to walk around Daqikong. The entire Daqikong Scenic Area is a canyon, where you can walk along the riverbank for about 5 kilometers at the bottom of the valley. At the end of the scenic area, there is a scenery similar to a natural bridge.
If you haven't been to Tiansheng Sanqiao, the scenery of Daqikong is still worth seeing. We spent about four hours exploring the entire Seven Holes scenic area. Tourists who were tight on time or lacked physical strength simply ignored the Seven Holes, while others arranged to spend two days exploring. This way, we were much more relaxed and effortless, and everyone could arrange according to their physical strength.
After the tour, drive directly to Libo Ancient Town and stay overnight there.
During the off-season, the car can be parked directly at the entrance of the homestay, saving time and effort! The owner of the homestay was out, the door was open, and there were no guests or staff. They called the owner and asked us to bring our room cards to check in on our own. The next day, we checked out on our own, but the owner didn't wake up. We silently left our room cards at the front desk, haha, it was really generous!
The inn there has a spacious balcony with a view of the street, although it's not very popular.
A small and fresh duplex room that can accommodate three or even more people. The room is clean, the key is the beautiful price! recommend!
After checking in, the most important thing is to search for food. At around four o'clock, we were so hungry that our hearts were pressed against our backs.
I didn't go to the restaurant recommended on the review, I just randomly found one. Because it's early and not an internet celebrity, the pace is still reserved for private bookings.
My husband ate Twice cooked pork wherever he went. He thought it was the best Twice cooked pork he had ever eaten!
Shao Zai Pai, my husband also said it's so delicious!
This is my dish, beef tendon, full of tendons. The price is not expensive, it's too generous.
Tofu pudding fish, fresh, tender and light, is extremely large!
I was so satisfied with this meal. After finishing, I wandered around the town and many shops were preparing dinner. We belong to the standard elderly lifestyle, eating early and going to bed early, plus getting up early!
DAY6
The itinerary for that day was to stay at Qianhu Miao Village and spend the night at the foot of Fanjing Mountain.
We didn't live or eat in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, purely experiencing the local people's lives. Avoid the ancient streets where tourists gather, and specifically choose small mountain roads to climb up the winding mountains in the living area of the Miao people, overlooking the scenery of the Miao village from a high place.
At the entrance, Miao girls sing welcome songs, which shows that the simple and honest girls sing and laugh from the bottom of their hearts, not just as perfunctory as using it as a means of livelihood!
After entering, take a bus to the sightseeing platform, and then take an electric scooter to the village.
It's still gray weather.
The main commercial street in the Miao village.
LZ, who cannot avoid the common customs, changed into Miao clothing and put on various styles......
The national flag made of chili peppers and corn on the small square is quite distinctive.
Then we started walking along the small path up the mountain.
There are countless homestays and restaurants on the mountain. The Miao village, once located in the midst of this mountain, was closed and backward. Now, due to the tourism industry, countless tourists come from afar to visit and explore. The village is becoming more and more open, and the villagers are living a good life relying on tourism!
A shop that rents out various Miao clothing.
It was already afternoon when I came out of the Miao village to the homestay at the foot of Fanjing Mountain. The Qiuming Mountain residential accommodation is a cozy homestay located five minutes' drive from the entrance of the scenic area.
The boss is from Fujian and is very polite. He brought us desserts as soon as we walked in. He also helped us carry two large boxes upstairs one by one. He told us that he would pick us up and drop us off at the entrance of the scenic area tomorrow, saving us from having to drive by ourselves.
The room is quite large, with thoughtfully prepared snacks and drinks that provide endless warmth. The next day, the landlady personally made breakfast, which didn't feel like a guest, but rather as friendly as visiting relatives.
After renovating the room as usual, we found a Miao specialty sour soup fish restaurant for dinner on the food street outside the Fanjing Mountain scenic area. On the review, the group bought the fish in sour soup set meal, and ordered dried bamboo shoots and bacon, fried shredded pork with green peppers, fried sweet potato leaves with garlic, plus the Stir-fried tomato and scrambled eggs eggs, scrambled rice tofu and fish in sour soup in the set meal, a pot of rice wine filled the table. Drinking a small drink, watching the tourists descending the mountain, listening to the sound of rain, and chatting casually with the boss, it's simply too pleasant.
The particularly delicious rice wine has always been cherished by us.
The continuous rainy weather has made us worried about the weather on Mount Fanjing. The homestay owner and restaurant owner both said not to judge the weather on the mountain based on the weather below. It's completely different. If it rains below the mountain, there may be sunshine on the mountain.
DAY7
We arrived at the next day with infinite anticipation. But the fact is that we overthink it. Indeed, the weather is different at the foot of the mountain. It's light rain at the foot of the mountain, but moderate rain on the top, plus strong winds and thick fog. We have caught up with all kinds of bad weather. My character is still not enough!
The visibility under the mountain is still acceptable.
After taking the shuttle bus and cable car, everything changed.
After getting off the cableway, you can still vaguely discern the outline of the mountain, and climb up the mountain road without stopping. When you arrive at the famous scenic spot - Mogushi, the area below the mountain is already covered in white. The Mogushi we see is not magnificent, but heavily haunted......
Since we can't take any beautiful photos, we can only continue to climb up and head straight to the top of Lao Jin.
The wind and rain are getting stronger, and the mountain road to Lao Jinding is narrow and slippery, sometimes requiring both hands and feet. It's too embarrassing to take photos.
The altitude plaque at Lao Jinding is the only witness I have ever been to.
The wind is getting stronger, blowing the raincoat in a mess. We didn't delay and went straight to the cableway location, heading towards Hongyun Jinding. I didn't expect the road up the mountain to be temporarily closed due to strong winds, so there is no exact opening time. Waiting for an open day without a fixed time in this strong wind and heavy rain is also unrealistic. I can only reluctantly go down the mountain with ten thousand unwilling and ten thousand helpless.
Looking at the shuttle buses loaded with tourists going up the mountain along the way, I felt angry. Since half of the scenic spots have been closed, why are there no prompts before going up the mountain? Tourists have the right to choose independently, but the prerequisite is that they must have the right to know. There is one more thing that I am puzzled about, what kind of propaganda makes countless elderly people choose Mount Fanjing? The road up the mountain is very narrow and can only accommodate one person walking. The elderly people walking slowly and leisurely, taking three steps and stopping five steps at a time, and those holding umbrellas blocking the road, block the road up the mountain tightly. My husband and I have been saying sorry all the way, surpassing countless elderly people to reach the mountaintop. Moreover, the mountain road to Laojinding is very steep, and elderly people cannot climb it at all. So what is the significance of coming to Fanjing Mountain?
The trip to Mount Fanjing was the worst attraction of our travel experience. Both the weather and the management of the scenic area were extremely poor, to the point where a bad mood accompanied us all the way to Zhenyuan Ancient Town.
For the purpose of protecting the ancient town, the main road in the town is not accessible by bus during daytime. Following the navigation, we traveled more than 20 kilometers along the mountain road from the west end of the ancient street to the east end, which made us doubt our lives. The homestay staff drove an electric bike to pick up the package, and could only carry one box at a time. After delivering it to the homestay, they would return to pick up another box. All the bad emotions of the day and the turmoil during the journey to Zhenyuan Ancient Town dissipated when I entered the room and saw the scenery in front of me.
From the balcony of the room, everything that can be painted is displayed before my eyes, gentle and peaceful, making me instantly fall in love. I was stunned on the balcony and couldn't wait to go out and immerse myself in the painting.
The ancient town is built by the mountains and waters, with most of the riverbanks lined with homestays, restaurants, and cafes. You can choose any shop and sit by the water, wasting your time and energy.
Spending dinner time in a caf é, I searched for a nearby restaurant and ordered the signature beef with skin.
A big pot is full, and there is also a lot of beef.
After dinner, we thoroughly explored the entire ancient town, including the residential areas. There are many ancient bridges, pavilions, ancient city walls, and stone roads in the area, which are well preserved despite their age.
Every night at 7 o'clock is the time when the town lights up. The beautiful town is decorated with dazzling and dreamy lights. It is recommended that if you are not in a hurry, you must visit the ancient town of Zhenyuan during the day and night. This trip is not in vain.
After arriving at the room, he still lingered on the balcony, eating fruits and enjoying the beautiful scenery to the fullest.
DAY8
It's also a great meal to pick a breakfast shop and order the famous tofu pudding, fermented glutinous rice rice dumpling, soup noodles, soup dumplings, etc!
Naked tofu pudding, made by ourselves.
Well, this is rice dumpling, not porridge.
Shredded pork and hot pickled mustard greens with Preserved Mustard Mustard
Before the road was closed at nine o'clock, we took the highway through the ancient street and successfully saved over 20 kilometers of mountain road.
Drive back to Guiyang to spend our last day before returning. No scenic spots arranged, just wandering around!
For the last dinner of the entire trip, I really didn't want to eat Guizhou's specialty noodles, sour soup fish, and so on. Instead, I chose the local five-star hotel's buffet, which is compatible with both Chinese and Western cuisine, including seafood, sashimi, cold and hot dishes, barbecue, hot pot, desserts, with a wide variety and high cost-effectiveness.
Staying at Lihao Hotel for the last night in Guiyang is the most correct choice. The hotel is located in the city center, with a food street in front of it, where various restaurants and snack shops are located one by one. Although the hotel facilities are not new, the conditions are quite good, with oversized rooms and good views. I want to give a special thumbs up to Lihao's unique service, it's really thoughtful. As we belong to the airport group, there is a shuttle service available. Upon arrival at the front desk according to the scheduled time, the driver specially uses a van to take the two of us to the airport, saving us the trouble and hassle of carrying large and small packages as outsiders. If you are also flying in and out of Guiyang, Lihao Hotel should be your first choice.
A super large room.
Not bad breakfast.
gossip
The nine day and eight night trip to Chongqing has come to a successful conclusion, with both surprises and regrets, but these are all components of a fulfilling journey and will become memories worth cherishing forever.
Finally, let me say a few more words: First, don't be too superstitious about internet celebrities. You can try it, but don't be an internet celebrity. Apart from showing that you are not outdated, there is basically nothing worth it; Secondly, travel, food, and health can be balanced. By controlling your diet and increasing walking, hiking, or running, you can offset excessive intake with exercise. This will help you better understand unfamiliar cities and make a healthy lifestyle a habit for yourself.
