If you want to understand the history of Fuling, the Baiheliang Museum is a place worth visiting. Due to the construction of the Three Gorges Project, the Baiheliang inscription will sink to the bottom of the river forever. In order to allow future generations to view this cultural relic, the state invested 200 million yuan to build the Baiheliang Underwater Museum. Baiheliang Underwater Museum is located in the Yangtze River north of Fuling City, Chongqing City. It is known as the "World's First Ancient Hydrological Station", the "World's Treasure House of Hydrological Data" and the "Underwater Stele Forest". It is the only national key cultural relic in the Three Gorges cultural relics landscape. The stone fish at the entrance of the museum is the treasure of the town museum.

The underwater museum is divided into two experience projects. The first one is to go to the second floor. There are special personnel in the scenic area to explain the history of Baiheliang, including the construction and origin of Baiheliang. It also tells the story of poet Huang Tingjian's reluctance to part with this in those years. The feelings expressed his reluctance to part with Fuling with the word "don't come", so Huang Tingjian's inscription can also be seen in the museum.

The second project is to go down to the underwater channel with visiting windows, go down the longest 91-meter underwater escalator in the country, and admire the Baiheliang inscription through the glass porthole. There are also 6 rows and 150 groups of light sources installed in the protective body. Each group of light sources consists of 9 small lights, and each small light contains 8 spotlight and diffuser lights. The Baiheliang underwater protection body will be like a bright crystal palace. In the exhibition hall built on the Yangtze River protective embankment, you can operate the camera according to your own needs and view the Baiheliang up close from different angles through the computer screen.

After visiting the scenic spot, you can also experience the method of rubbing-in yourself after you come out. Make Huang Tingjian's inscription and re-engrave the work with rice paper and water ink. It costs 10 yuan each. After you are done, you can take it away after it is baked. It is very commemorative.

Wuling mountain Rift Valley

The Wuling Mountain Rift Valley is located in Wulingshan Township, about 45 kilometers southeast of Fuling District, Chongqing City. The scenic spot is a natural oxygen bar with dense forests everywhere. It is also a good place to escape heat in summer, with the average summer temperature around 22 degrees.

The karst landform in the scenic area is obvious, the deep canyons and the winding ground cracks all make people sigh at the magic of nature. When you come here, you can breathe the fresh air, enjoy the magnificent natural mountain views, and walk through the deep crevices of Qingtian Gorge. If you are interested, go and take a walk on the Tianmen Cave Cable Bridge.

The easiest way from the Tangyakou cableway to the Great Rift Valley is the viewing car flying over the top of the treetops. The rain and fog are in the air, and the air is fresh. Sitting and watching the car, you can see that the distant mountains are like jade, undulating, drizzling, mountain winds are blowing, and the misty rain is curling, and the car is leisurely.

After getting off the cable car, we took a battery car for a while to the Lovers Valley Scenic Area, where a love drama in the Lovers Valley was staged. There are performances such as singing and dancing, and throwing wedding hydrangea balls. Tourists can also participate in it. It is full of interactivity.

From here in the Lovers Valley Scenic Area, we start a 5-kilometer hiking journey. Along the way, you can see the natural scenery of the canyon and feel the cool experience it brings here.

The Qingtian Gorge joint has a total length of 1.5 kilometers, and the narrowest point is less than 2 meters. It is cliffs on both sides and is about 300 meters high. When you look up, you can only see a line of daylight. There are many strange rocks in the ground cracks, and stalactites are in all shapes. In some places, the two cliffs are only a few feet apart, which can bring a shocking visual impact to the viewer. During the exploration, the spirit will be absorbed and the feeling of tranquility and ancient wonder will be created.

At the end of the ground seam, a space-time tunnel was opened. The Time and Space Tunnel is about 400 meters long and runs through a mountain to connect with the Tianba Tourist Center. The tunnel uses sound, light, electricity and other technological means to guide tourists to travel in time. After completing the tunnel, the journey of the Great Rift Valley ends. Take the cableway up, transfer buses and return to the visitor center.

816 underground nuclear project

In 1967, a mysterious special forces force secretly stationed in the mountains of Fuling to dig an underground nuclear factory. The Chongqing 816 underground nuclear plant built to serve the production of atomic bombs is the "world's first artificial cave" with a total investment of 740 million yuan. By the time construction was stopped in 1984, 85% of the construction projects and 60% of the installation projects had been completed. In April 2002, the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense issued a declassification order--the 816 underground giant nuclear military cave reappeared in the world. In 2010, the "816 Project" was partially opened to tourists as an attraction for the first time. Subsequently, in order to further improve and upgrade the facilities of the scenic spot, the Fuling District Government carried out a one-year fully enclosed construction of the "816 Project" in 2015. On September 25, 2016, it reopened to welcome guests after a year of rest.

Hidden under the hills with high mountains and dense forests lies the huge underground nuclear plant. However, from the appearance, apart from the straight and tall exhaust chimney, there is no trace of engineering. Here is the Chongqing 816 underground nuclear plant that produces atomic bomb services. It is the "world's first artificial cave". It's very cool here in summer.

China's second nuclear raw material industrial base has to sigh that the Chinese people were able to build such a huge and magnificent underground project under difficult conditions 50 years ago. It is worthy of pride for our nation.
