It was more than half a year ago since I last came to Yunnan (think it should have been July last year). However, due to time constraints, I couldn't visit all the places I wanted to visit and see all the legendary scenery. However, Shuanglang is the most serious of my "heart disease".
I heard long ago that "the scenery of Dali is in Cang 'er, and the scenery of Cang' er is in Shuanglang." This time, I finally didn't have to continue to miss it, and I was excited to think about it. So this time I came specifically to Dali Shuanglang. In order to avoid the dense crowd, I specially booked the G1511 high-speed train departing from Changsha at 10:12 in the morning. The high-speed train will arrive in Kunming south at around 15:40.(Because there is currently no high-speed train from Changsha to Dali, I can only choose to transfer to other high-speed trains in Kunming south) and then transfer to D3953.
High-speed rail travel is really much more convenient. At around 18:50 that day, I arrived in Dali, which I had been thinking about for half a year (think about the new green skin I sat in when I came to Dali last time, and the pain on my butt ~~).
Here is my high-speed rail fare:
From Changsha South to Kunming, the second-class seat on the high-speed rail costs 498.5 yuan, and from Kunming to Dali is 145 yuan. The total cost is 643.5 yuan one way. Although the price is not much different from the previous price, the distance and time are greatly shortened.
On the day of arrival, I didn't go straight to Shuanglang, but took a taxi to the inn where I was going to stay tonight------Haidong Town Idebang Seaview No. 1 Inn. Why did you choose to stay here? Just look through the current Internet celebrity videos and you will understand that China's Santorini is here. Legend has it that Dali is the most beautiful sunset and sunset, and the perfect starry night will never let you down.
The next day, I pushed open the floor-to-ceiling windows along the coast and climbed onto the terrace. I finally saw the morning light in the mist again. The water and sky were in the same color, and the sea breeze blew, making it very cool. The tiredness of the previous day has long disappeared. Near 9 o'clock, after checking out, I couldn't wait to set off for Dali's soul place, the final destination this time,"Shuanglang".
The coastal road scenery along the way should not be too beautiful. The children are still shining brightly under the sunshine, and seabirds are playing in the water.
In order not to miss the scenery on the road, we specially asked the driver to slow down and didn't arrive at Shuanglang until around 11 o'clock.
The first time I saw the double corridors, the scene in the ancient poem immediately came into view."The eyes are thousands of miles away from the lakes and mountains, and the people are in the same color of water and sky." I wonder if this is a fairyland or a heaven on earth.
It is said that the time in Shuanglang is slow, but only by really coming here can you experience the tranquility and leisure. On Shuanglang Street in the morning, there are many Bai residents, carrying a bamboo basket and buying various vegetables and daily necessities in the market. The grandparents here still maintain their original ethnic costumes. Young people may like fashion, so it is rare to wear Bai costumes.
At the seaside, there are many carefully painted boats docked. There are more than 10 small benches in each cabin. If you come closer, the boatman on the boat will greet you with a smile and ask,"Do you want to take a small boat?" (Because I just wanted to walk around and see the most authentic Shuanglang Street, I didn't choose to go on a boat trip to the sea)
Walking along the street, from the seaside to the inland, the houses around you are becoming more and more old and simpler, and getting closer to the small fishing village that was peaceful many years ago (many articles on the Internet compare the current double corridor with the previous ones).
At noon, you can find any small shop and taste local food.
After checking the map, I found that there are really many scenic spots around here. So, I returned again along the road I had taken in the morning and met the boatman in the morning on the Erhai Lake. After some bargaining, I finally spent 60 yuan on the boat.
There are many sculptures on Nanshao Style Island, especially the white jade statue of Guanyin, which is particularly spectacular. (Take a private boat to the island. You can get there in about 5 minutes. The island is open from 8:30 to 17:00)
Looking around the double corridors from the boat, you can feel something. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one side. Jumping on the 19th Peak of Cangshan Mountain in the west, facing the vast blue waves of the Erhai Lake, on the east, on the "Buddhist resort" Jizu Mountain, and on the south, on the "Penglai Fairy Island" Xiaoputuo. Shuanglang is really the soul of Dali.
"Uncle, how long have you lived in Shuanglang?"
"We have lived here for the past three generations, and I probably will live here in my life, but children have always said they want to go out and buy a house. Young people have their own ideas. We can't help it."
"Young people are looking forward to life in the city at first, but they will come back after a long time. After all, the double corridors are really beautiful."
"I hope so!"
"Then do you think the current double corridors have changed a lot?"
"That's huge! In the past, basically every household of us made a living by fishing. When we met, we would tease each other,'How much fish have we caught?'"But now, when we meet, we basically ask,'Who paid the rent again, how much is the rent, or" Do you have any vacant rooms? There are still a few guests.'"
"That income should be much more than before."
"That's true, but I feel like I can't get back the leisurely spirit I used to be. People are also tired."
It was not until later that I understood that this was the uncle's "complaint". In the past, uncle could drink a limited amount of half a glass of water wine at noon every day, but now in order to compete for a living and gain more income, he has not touched water wine at noon for half a year. (For safety reasons, I restrained myself and my aunt refused to allow me to drink it.)
Unconsciously, we have visited many attractions. (The scenery is infinite, the camera is not stopping)
In Shuanglang, time passed quickly, and it was evening between stops and stops. Looking at the colorful clouds in the sky, I no longer know how to describe it. Perhaps the only way to express my feelings at that time is "sunset and gull take off, autumn water shares the same color as the sky".
Perhaps it is because it is not the tourist season yet, or because of the epidemic, the night in Shuanglang is very quiet. Only a few late night snack stalls selling barbecue were vaguely visible.
The moon is bright and the stars are sparse, and the starry sky is not black in the traditional sense, but a little bluish. I think this may be because the starry sky has also been influenced by the blue water of the Erhai Lake!
This time, I stayed in Shuanglang for a whole day and night (I couldn't help it, only three days of vacation). The time was not enough for me to truly recognize Shuanglang, but this whole day's travel made me understand that even if I didn't go anywhere else, Shuanglang was enough for me to stay for two or three days.
The double corridors are simple and complex, elegant and secular, quiet and restful. With the rise of tourism, locals feel that Shuanglang is becoming more and more like a desire field, with everyone very proud and everyone very frustrated. In my opinion, the famous double corridors are actually quite suitable for sleeping, watching the sea, and listening to music. I came here only for a vacation, not for tourism.
This time, I still haven't stayed enough. Look forward to it! Looking forward to our next reunion! Shuanglang, wait for me, it won't take long!
