Are you not satisfied with life?
I haven't laughed for a long time, and I don't know why
Since you are unhappy and don't like it here,
Why don't we head west?
go to Dali
The song "Go to Dali" is a movie interlude sung by Huang Bo, the actor of Geng Hao in the movie "Heart Flowers on the Road". When this film was released in 2014, I was particularly looking forward to bringing my little sisters to watch it. In addition to being immersed in the funny plot of Huang Bo and Xu Zheng, I was also deeply attracted by the city of Dali. At that time, there were plans to travel to Dali, but because the time could not be arranged, they were later shelved. Recently, I revisited this movie again and listened to this song "Go to Dali". I couldn't help but yearning for Dali. I bought a ticket, packed my bags, and rushed to my poems and the distance ~
I took a plane from Shenzhen and arrived at Dali Airport in the afternoon. The Beautiful Meet Mengdiezhuang Hotel I booked online in advance has the special service of "one room, one car, one housekeeper". Each room will be equipped with a personal housekeeper and a special car. The car is free within a radius of 30 kilometers of the hotel. This special service made me feel impressed and immediately decided to book a room in this hotel. The hotel's pick-up service is also free. Two days before I went to Dali, the personal housekeeper called me and asked about my flight landing time. When I walked out of the airport, I could see the personal housekeeper. The housekeeper helped me put my luggage in the trunk. After that, we drove all the way back to the hotel smoothly!
As the vehicle slowly drove in the direction of the Beautiful Meet·Mengdiezhuang Hotel, the exterior of the hotel gradually appeared in front of your eyes. The hotel has a unique Chinese architectural structure-flying eaves, with upturned corners of the eaves, which has the national style of traditional Chinese architecture. For someone like me who loves traditional Chinese architecture, the architectural style of this hotel completely hits my direction. The entrance is a path made of wooden pillars, and the wooden plaque at the entrance reads the words "Mengdie Village". Upon closer inspection, you will see that the pen is Mr. Nan Huaijin, who instantly feels respect.
The young lady at the front desk helped me check in. I rushed to my room without stopping and finally could rest! I live in a single-family villa in Erhai Garden and Private Pool. The room has a simple wooden style. It has a small courtyard and a private pool. I can lie in the pool and read a book and drink a glass of red wine. It feels so wonderful! There is also a small wooden pavilion in the courtyard. Sitting in the pavilion, you can see the clouds and mist lingering in the distance. The snow in Cangshan really deserves its reputation!
The housekeeper also brought me fruits. We discussed the itinerary for the past two days. Since it was a personal housekeeper, the housekeeper could also accompany me throughout the trip to Dali. This was my first visit to Dali, I agreed without hesitation. The housekeeper really met my expectations. The reasonable planning of the route and the housekeeper's careful explanation allowed me to understand Dali better and love this beautiful city even more during this trip to Dali!
Day1 Erhai Lake-Cangshan
Today is the first day of visiting Dali, and I decided to visit Erhai Lake first! After I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant early in the morning, the housekeeper drove me in the car to see the Erhai Lake. Along the way, the housekeeper chatted with me about the history of coming to Erhai Lake before and the best places to watch movies in Erhai Lake. Our car drove around the Erhai Lake all the way. The wind blew from the Erhai Lake and bypassed the direct sunlight. We also met with swarms of seagulls along the way and flowed across the calm sea. The bright sunshine shone on the sea surface. It looked sparkling. In the movie "Heart Flowers on the Road", the place where Yuan Quan teased the dog was right beside the Erhai Lake. This can be considered as checking in to the filming location ~
"The wind at the upper pass, the flowers at the lower pass, and the wind at the upper pass blows the flowers at the lower pass; the snow on Cangshan Mountain, the moon on Erhai Lake, and the snow on Cangshan Mountain shines on the moon on Erhai Lake." When people mention Dali, they will think of Cangshan and Erhai. After seeing the Erhai Lake, of course I have to go to Cangshan for a walk. The housekeeper and I took a cableway up the mountain. I heard the housekeeper say that some people would choose to ride horses up the mountain. This operation is so cool! The terminal point of the cableway is Ximatan on the top of Cangshan Mountain. Sitting on the cableway car and overlooking the surrounding scenery, the breeze is pleasant and it feels like the world is under my feet.
Day2 Xizhou Ancient Town-Three Towers of Chongsheng Temple
Xizhou Ancient Town is said to be a quiet and elegant town without much commercial flavor. Viewed from a distance, it looks like a simple and elegant city, but more like a huge museum of residential buildings. The day when the housekeeper and I arrived coincided with the fair day. The city was full of the atmosphere of market life, and the streets were crowded with villagers from all over the country who came to the fair, selling walnuts, various fungi, and clothes... It was a beautiful picture of lively life scenes.
Further ahead is Sifang Street in Xizhou, which is a very interesting small market. There are many gadgets sold in the market, as well as some local snack shops. Of course, the thing that attracts me the most on Sifang Street is Xizhou Baba. There are two types of Xizhou Baba, sweet and salty. The sweet ones are added with rose sugar, and the salty ones are added with meat and onions. I prefer the sweet ones. The outer skin of the Baba is crispy and soft on the inside. It leaves a fragrance when you bite your lips and teeth.
After visiting Xizhou Ancient Town, after discussion with the housekeeper, I decided to go to the three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple near the hotel to have a look. Because the distance was relatively close, the two of us went back to the hotel to store the gadgets we had found in Xizhou Ancient Town, and then walked there together. About five minutes later, the three pagodas that could only be seen from a distance were perfectly presented in front of me. It is said that Chongsheng Temple was burned down during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, and only the three pagodas remain intact. Now I can feel the grandeur of the three towers up close. The simplicity and tranquility of standing quietly add an extraordinary color to the city of Dali.
Day3 Dali Ancient City
Beautiful Meet Mengdiezhuang Hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the ancient city of Dali. After breakfast, the housekeeper and I walked to the ancient city of Dali. We walked through the streets paved with bluestone. The shops on both sides were full of various goods, from carefully carved jade to tie-dye with Bai characteristics, all of which were high-quality products. The south gate of the city is the largest gate in the ancient city. It is said that the word "Dali" on the gate is composed of Guo Moruo's calligraphy. We walked on the antique streets and felt the long culture and literary atmosphere of the ancient city of Dali.
After eating and drinking, the housekeeper and I returned to the hotel. It was still early. Looking at the small bridges and flowing water in the hotel, it seemed like a beautiful scenery from a paradise. Suddenly, I felt elegant and changed into a cheongsam and invited the housekeeper to help me take some photos. The housekeeper's photography skills are also very professional. He has been looking for angles and guiding the photo poses. He even borrowed an oil-paper umbrella for me as a photo prop. The effect of the film is so satisfying!
Day4
After washing up early at the hotel, the housekeeper sent me to the airport. This trip to Dali ended perfectly! It seems that coming to Dali is to let go of everything and storing energy is a new beginning. The "One Room, One Car and One Butler" service of Beautiful Meet·Mengdiezhuang Hotel made my journey smooth and worry-free. I must praise this hotel that can see Cangshan and Erhai Lake. The beauty of Dali is indescribable. Looking forward to meeting you next time!
