Xiangyun, an auspicious place

A man who was so selfish that

For thousands of years, it has given rise to life

people here

All it brings is happiness and good fortune

The first time I heard about Xiangyun was when I was very young. Bo Yuji (the wife of my grandfather's cousin), who was married from afar among relatives, was from Xiangyun, Dali. Because of her good personality and often having food with her, her friends all like to follow her. When she sat down to rest, she often talked to us about her hometown Xiangyun, and she looked intoxicated. I vaguely remember that she talked about Xiangyun's mountains, rivers and seas, temples, and how the weather there was different from Hunan. Of course, there were also her favorite fairy stories as children, so that she had longed for Xiangyun since she was a child.

Childhood dreams are indeed easy to forget. When I was a child, the dream of a scientist was already lost when I was admitted to college and chose a major. Unexpectedly, my yearning for Xiangyun would gradually fade away with the passage of time. It was not until half a month before my departure that I retrieved this childhood dream from a yellowed photo album. Bo Yuji has passed away for many years. I think it is time to take her childhood dreams and her prayers to return to her hometown to visit her hometown to see what the auspicious clouds in her mouth are like.

Taking advantage of the National Day holiday (I was afraid that I wouldn't have enough time, I even took two extra days of annual leave), I finally embarked on this road of pursuing my dreams.

With the help of high-speed rail, starting from Changsha to Xiangyun is actually not as far as imagined. In the afternoon, I arrived at the auspicious place "Xiangyun" that I dreamed of as a child.

Walking into the ancient city, I only saw the towering mountains holding the ancient city in my palm. Walking along the once-prosperous tea-horse ancient road, I still felt that I could touch the rich cultural atmosphere of the ancient city with every gesture. It was completely different from the baptism of more than 2000 years of mottled years.

I don't know the specific location of Bo Yuji's hometown, but I know very well that this is undoubtedly the paradise where she lived since childhood, because there are women with the same smiling faces and the same gentle personality as water everywhere. This must be a unique simplicity that can be nurtured in a specific time.

For several days in a row, I walked through the streets and villages like a runaway wild horse. Everywhere is new, but everywhere is full of familiar smells, that is the smell of home. However, I am sure that this is my first time here. Could it be that I was from Xiangyun in my previous life? When I come to Xiangyun, I feel like I have entered a cool, tranquil and beautiful dream!

Of course, in addition to the simple to "unreal" life, Xiangyun naturally also has amazing scenery. There are several places that I strongly recommend to you after I have been there. You must find an opportunity to have a good trip.

Jiuding Mountain is named after its nine peaks are abrupt, its clusters look like green lotus flowers, its high cliffs are majestic, and it is often surrounded by white clouds. There is a temple standing in the clouds on the mountain peak, called Jiuding Temple. There are north and south twin towers standing in front of the temple, which form a scene under the afterglow of the sunrise and sunset. It is very wonderful. In addition, there are ancient buildings such as Jiuxi Temple, Miaosheng Pavilion, Bixia Temple, and Yufeng Pavilion built against the cliffs, which is very surprising. The morning glow and sunset on Jiuding are the most beautiful. At this time, you can see the Xiangyun Dam when you climb high and look far away. The Xiaoguan Village Reservoir at the foot of the mountain is sparkling, the water is shining, and the mountains are empty. It is far away from the world, and it is quiet and elegant.

I hate rain very much, except when deer crows. Local fellow villagers said that there is a rain every day in Luming starting from August every year. Coincidentally, during the two days in Lu Ming, I had the honor to feel two completely different rains. One was accompanied by roaring thunder, which immediately shrouded people in the rain curtain. The other was a continuous drizzle that moistens everything silently, but it poured the mountains in the distance as gentle as Jiangnan. But no matter what kind of momentum, Lu Ming's rain will always come and go as soon as it wants. After a hearty game, the flowers on the roadside and in the garden were knocked down to the ground. The strange thing was that the falling flowers did not appear messy, as if they were intentionally or unintentionally decorating the courtyard and mountains where deer chirping was played. As soon as the rain settled, the small water droplets remaining on the wires were still swinging, sliding down from high places one by one. Soon, the sun will appear in haste. At this time, the leaves in the forest will become brighter and brighter in the sun, the flowers that violate Da Luo also begin to hold their heads proudly, and the seedlings in the fields will also appear greener.

In Luming, not only is the rain that comes every day pleasant, but the clouds are also intoxicating. When I get up in the morning, two ethereal clouds as thin as cicada wings, like blush on my cheeks, are symmetrical, gently covering the houses on the mountainside. In the cold air, the houses with red roofs are looming in the clouds and mist. The clear part makes it plain, and the thick part makes it beautiful. It is wonderful and agile. Looking at it again after a while, the two pieces of "blush" quietly moved and floated forward, but they were still mischievously symmetrical. If it has just rained in the early morning, the mountains and forests will be shrouded in thick clouds. The thick clouds will press on the top of the mountain and treetops like cotton candy. The blue mist will be confused, making it impossible to distinguish the boundary between the mountain and the sky. 

Dongshan Yi Township is a township in Xiangyun County, with crisscross mountains and valleys. Every year in autumn and winter, the humid mountain countryside rises in the loose and smooth fog. The fog quietly comes out to kiss the mountains like the mother of the earth missing the earth, like a white fairyland, which is fascinating. 

Being trapped in the mountain fog, it was like falling into an endless sea of smoke. A few feet away, I couldn't tell the direction. Everything in front of me was crystal clear silver white. The sky and the earth are integrated, no one can see each other clearly between the mountains and the trees, and the scenery on the roadside is separated by a layer of fog. This fog locks the mountains and mountains, and the sky connects the water and the water, and the fog surrounds the sky. Feeling hazy, isn't it like climbing into the immortal world?

The Tianhua Mountain Taoist Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty. There are three ancient buildings built on the cliff next to the mountain. The eaves of the hidden houses are exposed. There is a stone dragon hanging upside down on the stone cliff, like a dragon falling from the sky. The cliff is engraved with the ten characters "Yun 'er's unparalleled land, the first mountain in Kuangzhou".

Isn't it strange how Qinghai Lake could cross to Dali Xiangyun? When I first heard that Xiangyun also had a Qinghai Lake, I was definitely as surprised as you at that time. Qinghai Lake in Qinghai is still there, but it has not moved here, but Xiangyun does have a lake with the same name. Qinghai Lake in Xiangyun was called Qinghu and Qinglong Lake in ancient times, and it belongs to a national-level water conservancy scenic spot. The water on the lake is as bright as a mirror, the blue waves are endless, the fishing boats sing at night, and the beautiful scenery of Tianyuan is reflected. Tsinghua Ancient Cave was praised by Xu Xiake as the "First Cave in Western Yunnan". It belongs to a karst terrain stone cave with a dazzling array of stalagmites, stone pillars, stone platforms, etc. Li Yuanyang, a Ming Dynasty writer and Neo-Confucian scholar, Guo Songnian, a Guangxi warlord, Yang Shen, the top scholar of the Ming Dynasty, left cliff carvings at the entrance of the cave.

A national-level cultural relics protection unit, the Royal Zen Forest of Nanzhao Dali State, the World's First Descendants 'Forest Holy Land, the No. 1 Zen Temple in Yunnan, and a natural treasure house of plants. There are Jiuan and Eighteen Temples built on the mountain. Shuimu Temple, Puxian Temple, Baohua Temple, Beigang Tallinn, Temple Bao Pagoda, etc. are still well preserved. There are historical records such as Xu Xiake's visit, Lin Zexu's special visit, taking on duty, and Wu Sangui's questioning of divination. There is a Tang Dynasty lion's head camellia with a history of more than 1000 years in the mountain. It is praised as "Thousands of flowers on the head of the tree swallow the fire, and the residual snow burns red for half a day."

It has a history of 1237 years. It is a typical representative of ancient Yunnan culture, an important station on the Southwest Silk Road, an important military base in the China-India-Myanmar Theater, and an air transfer station on the Hump Route. The ruins of the Ancient Tea Horse Road are well-preserved and world-famous. The Yunnan-Myanmar Highway passed through.

Also known as Jade Bamboo Peak, commonly known as Laojun Mountain, is a famous Taoist mountain in China and a song and dance resort for people of all ethnic groups. There is a well-preserved Lao Jun Hall, an ancient building of the Ming Dynasty. A grand Dongjing concert and singing festival are held here every year on February 15th of the lunar calendar. It is known as the "First Taoist Mountain from South".

In fact, during this trip to Xiangyun, even I couldn't remember how many places I had been to, how much I had walked, and even what attractions I had been to, because there were too many "temptations" on this trip, and it was difficult for my eyes, brain, and soul to keep up with my body. So, wait until the epidemic is completely over, Xiangyun! I will come again to find you, wait for me!

Xiangyun, there are many undeveloped places, everything is the most pristine, and many so-called attractions have not been ringed to sell tickets (everything is free). The most precious thing is that this is the place where my dream began. Therefore, poetry and distance are not necessarily expensive. The key lies in whether you are in the right place.
