A classmate sent a photo of Tengchong ginkgo yellow leaves on WeChat. After nearly a year of staying at home, I finally couldn't help but feel the yearning in my heart and traveled with several companions at random! At 4 pm on December 10, the first stop was Nanning to fly to Tengchong, and then transitioned in Kunming. It was already 8 pm to arrive at Tengchong. Tengchong is a small town on the western border of Yunnan, adjacent to Myanmar. Back then, the expeditionary army set out from here and opened a southwest supply channel. A city of meritorious service. The four of us took a bus from the airport. It was 20 yuan per person. The driver very enthusiastically introduced the bus routes to us. He let us off at the tourist station and told us about the surrounding hotel environment. After thanking the driver, we stayed in Fengyuan Theme Hotel. A great value for money hotel. The little sister in the lobby told us how much the bus to Ginkgo Village cost and how much the charter car cost. The next morning, the four of us slept until we woke up naturally. After breakfast, we took a taxi to Ginkgo Village at ten o'clock.
On the way to Ginkgo Village, there were few yellow leaves left on both sides. If you arrived here in early December, it would be beautiful. Arriving at Ginkgo Village around 12 noon, the sun was shining brightly. After getting off the bus, the hostess of the B & B was driving waiting for guests. They took us to her house. It was a nice small courtyard. There was a century-old ginkgo tree in the courtyard, leaving only a ground of yellow leaves. In the center of the courtyard, tables, tea, and fried beans were placed. The wooden houses around them exude the fragrance of wood. The sun shines through the leaves on the small table in the yard, romantic and warm.
We put down our simple luggage and took our camera to take photos. Tell the boss we will be back at two o'clock for rice noodles.
The entire Ginkgo Village is a yellow world covered with golden leaves. Under the breeze, the paths, low walls, courtyards,... the fallen leaves are all over the ground with golden color. Like a fairy tale small village.
Climb up the wall, show off your small waist, and sway your youthful tail wantonly
The folk customs in the village are simple, and the door of each courtyard is open. Whether you are a tenant or not, you can go in and take photos and enjoy tea and beans. I was also very enthusiastic about asking for directions.
The small courtyard in the afternoon is as bright as gold in the sun
This is exactly the route I like, pure and niche. The snacks and specialties sold by the villagers on the roadside are not expensive compared with those outside. Because it was the first stop, I couldn't take them. I bought a pound of dried sweet potatoes for 10 yuan a pound. I ate them on the road. They were very delicious. My classmate also bought peach gum, ginkgo, etc., which were not expensive.
For dinner, the landlady made us ginkgo chicken soup, bacon, and sausage. It's very delicious.
On the third morning, we walked around the village for most of the day. The morning sun shone obliquely under the ginkgo trees, giving people a warm and loose feeling.
The roadside vendors enthusiastically recommended farm specialties to us
The fruits hanging on the trees in the farmyard were fresh and tempting. We asked, and the owner enthusiastically asked us to pick them and eat them.

Stay away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy this moment of leisure
After lunch, he left Ginkgo Village, an ancient but not yet commercialized village. There are too many negative news about Yunnan tourism, and I have always been worried about traveling to Yunnan. This simple village has subverted my understanding of Yunnan tourism.
In the afternoon, we drove to the Beihai Wetland. The sun was shining and the natural environment was well protected!
On the fourth morning, I woke up naturally again, and then I took a bus to the hot spring park. There were many people on the weekend, so I took the electric bus to Rehai to get a hot pot! Hot water at 97 degrees is boiling in the pan and steaming. There are snacks such as eggs, peanuts, and yams next to them. This is one of the eighteen monsters in Yunnan who sells eggs together.
The air in the mountains is very good. I took a bus from Rehai Daoguo to Meiren Spring. There are few people in Meiren Spring, and tour groups don't come here. It's a good experience in soaking in the hot springs here. There are almost one pool for the four of us. There is a traditional Chinese medicine pool and ginger juice pool. Free scented tea. I felt sleepy after soaking, so I could go upstairs for snacks after washing it up. After resting, we will take the bus to the restaurant to eat rice noodles!·(Included in the ticket). After dark, Didi went back to the hotel to organize photos, videos, and posts on friends for the day.
On the fifth day, we bid farewell to Tengchong and took the shuttle bus to Ruili. Here is a special reminder that for those who are not used to bringing cash out, they only charge cash for buying a bus ticket. It just happened that our classmate brought 500 yuan in cash and caught the 9:30 bus. For lunch, we eat milk and cake from Fengyuan Hotel. It is another sunny day in Ruili. Ruili is not big and borders Myanmar on all sides. The main people here are Dai and Jingpo ethnic groups. Tourism is the main industry. After the epidemic broke out, the China-Myanmar border was closed and the city became much depressed. There are also very few people in the duty-free zone. One of my favorite fashion magazines is called Ruili. I thought this city was also full of fashion and romance, but I was a little disappointed when I arrived. We swam into a forest of trees, and Mr. Guo Moruo mentioned the word "Ruili".
In the afternoon, when you go to Yizhai and Shuangguo, the entrance ticket is not halved and there are many people. This place was originally a stockade, where villagers from China and Myanmar live. Because the epidemic is separated by barbed wire and because it is close to China, the living standards of the residents of this stockade are much better than those in Myanmar in recent years. Children go to Chinese schools and enjoy the same treatment as us, free tuition and free Chinese food. The children speak Chinese very well. Many of them are now man-made landscapes, and the long-necked performances we hoped to see are gone. I heard that they have gone back to Myanmar.
I had a Dai meal in the evening. It was not as delicious as I thought. The taste was too strong. I went to the night market to watch stone gambling at night. There were many people. I heard from the hawker that there were more people in the past, so I walked around without understanding. In Ruili, you can stay in a three-star hotel for more than 100 yuan because of the epidemic, and the breakfast is also very rich.
On the sixth day, the chartered bus driver sent us to Mang City. Mang City is the capital of Dehong Prefecture. The main attractions are Mengzhao Da Pagoda and Da Silver Tower. Buddhism is spread to the south, and the Buddhist thoughts of Mang City benefit the surrounding areas. I have heard that people who have not understood Dharma should not take photos in front of the Buddha Lord. I also visited quietly and took pictures from a distance.
At 1 o'clock in the afternoon, we took the express bus to Dali. The picking and checking was very strict along the way. Every car was carefully checked. At 6:30 p.m., we arrived in Dali at the B & B that we booked from Ctrip and called a car to pick us up. We booked a B & B near the ancient city, and the accommodation fee is significantly higher than that in western Yunnan. After walking around the ancient city at night, the ancient city lost its usual hustle and bustle. Dali's rosehip wine is delicious, but unfortunately I can't take it away. I ate local snacks in the ancient city and bought some small handicrafts to give to friends.
I went back to the B & B. The B & B conditions were good, except that the marked breakfast was not provided. It was said that it was unsafe during the epidemic. On the first day of Dali, this romantic place gave us a bad experience!
Our original plan was to stay in Dali for three nights and travel for two days, one day to visit Haidong and the other day to Haixi. I was busy and forgot to bring my driver's license. It was impossible to rent a car. It was 350 yuan a day. We figured it was not cost-effective, so we changed it to just travel for one day. Subsequent trips proved that this decision was wrong.
On the morning of the seventh day, I went to the Bai food street next to the B & B and ate dumplings, and set out. Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture is famous for its Bai folk houses, with white walls and tiles, neat and uniform.
Exquisite patterns are painted on the wall.
The car travels through a very distinctive city, with white houses one after another. On the roadside are withered cherry blossoms. Next to it is the beautiful ear sea, on which there are various colors of beetle cars, sports cars and fashionably dressed young people. Dali has a romantic and fashionable atmosphere.

On the eighth day, I took the bullet train to Kunming at eleven o'clock in the morning, and went to Haigeng Dam at three o'clock in the afternoon to feed red-billed gulls! The scene is very spectacular.
, I played until the sun went down and took a bus and then transferred to Kunming Old Street. It was also deserted and sparsely populated. There are more businesses than tourists, and for dinner, we eat the endless rice noodles. Yunnan rice noodles are delicious everywhere!
On the ninth day, I bid farewell to Kunming and took the bullet train home. The ten-day free travel was so simple and casual that I walked halfway through Yunnan. It was basically dominated by niche attractions: I didn't go to popular attractions, and my friends who like to take photos still chose to travel freely. It's better to travel freely. You won't be stuck in a shopping store during the best light time of the day.
