During the occasional slowdown, I chose Dali, Yunnan, the ideal habitat for life, as a travel destination, and regained my love for life amidst the scenery and snow.

For me, the most important thing during travel is the choice of hotel. This time I chose the Beautiful Meet·Mengdiezhuang Hotel. There is also a soaking pool in the room. When I have nothing to do, I just lie in the soaking pool, relax, drink wine, eat some fruits or snacks, and it is very comfortable.

After a good night's sleep, the housekeeper followed the agreed itinerary and prepared to take me to visit Dali's famous landmark-Erhai Lake. When we arrived, the sky was still a little gray. There were flocks of seagulls on the sea and accidentally swept across the water, creating ripples. The wind was a little strong. The housekeeper, a part-time photographer, had been taking photos of me. The pictures they took were so beautiful.

In the afternoon, we chose the ancient city of Dali, which is only about five minutes away from the hotel. Dali city is simple and quiet. The city is full of flowers and plants and clear streams flowing. Dali people plant all kinds of flowers and plants in their courtyards and live slowly. Small shops on the street not only buy tourist souvenirs, but also vegetable and fruit markets. Some sell snacks and folk costumes.

The housekeeper said that the ginkgo trees on Yuer Road next to the Cangshan Gate of the ancient city had turned yellow. The two of us walked on the road together. The housekeeper and I arrived in Xizhou Town early on the third day. It only took about 20 minutes from the hotel to the town, which was very convenient. The housekeeper has been introducing Xizhou Ancient Town to me. Xizhou Ancient Town is a very suitable place to relax. It retains the largest and most complete Bai residential building in the world. Walking forward is Sifang Street in Xizhou. The market sells many gadgets, as well as some local snack shops. Of course, as a snack, the thing that attracts me the most on Sifang Street is Xizhou Baba. There are two types of Xizhou Baba, sweet and salty. The sweet ones are added with rose sugar, and the salty ones are added with meat and onions. I prefer the sweet ones. The outer skin of the Baba is crispy and soft on the inside. It leaves a fragrance when you bite your lips and teeth.

In the afternoon, I discussed with the housekeeper and decided to walk to the Third Pagoda of Chongsheng Temple near the hotel. It takes about 5 minutes on foot. Everywhere you see on the road, there are comfortable and beautiful scenery of nature, and the air is fresh and makes people feel happy.

As we continued to approach, the three towers that could only be seen from a distance before were perfectly presented in front of me. It is said that Chongsheng Temple was burned down during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, and only the three pagodas remain intact. Now I can feel the grandeur of the three towers up close. The simplicity and tranquility of standing quietly add an extraordinary color to the city of Dali.

On the fourth day, I planned to stay in the hotel without going out and have a good rest and spend the last day of my trip to Dali in the hotel. In the morning, I woke up naturally. After lunch, I looked at the small bridges and flowing water in the hotel, which seemed like a beautiful scenery from a paradise. I suddenly felt elegant and changed into a cheongsam and invited the housekeeper to help me take some photos. The housekeeper's photography skills are also very professional.
