We had to use one mask for two days and finally made it until we went home.

On the day of departure, the driver was a demobilized soldier. He chatted about interesting things about the military camp and sped along the way. I checked the distance from home to Foshan Airport on the Gaode map. It was 60 kilometers, an hour's drive. As a result, my soldier brother drove at 150 kilometers per hour on the highway, which took more than half an hour!

After arriving in Dali City, I went to Wal-Mart to buy some things and then went to Dali Ancient City. The center of Dali City is about twenty minutes 'drive from the ancient city. The B & B we booked is next to the Erhai Gate. There is no parking space. The car can only be parked in the parking lot outside the gate. The boss was afraid that we wouldn't be able to find him, so he came out to lead the way for us.

ps. Introduce the B & B he booked: His family has 9 courtyards in the ancient city, and each has different styles. The family room of four of us is Courtyard No. 1, which is Chinese style; my uncle and aunt live in Courtyard No. 9, which is Japanese tatami style. The two courtyards are about 30 meters apart.

Both yard owners came out. The owner of Yard No. 1 was the most insane. He stepped on a tricycle and said he would carry our luggage. As a result, three boxes of luggage and four big ones and one small ones (except me) were all crowded on the small tricycle. They rushed down the slope of the parking lot, and then made a few sharp turns and stepped on crazily all the way, which scared my aunt to scream for fear of being thrown out. It was planned to take a large cableway to the top of the mountain, but the first half was closed due to weather conditions and diverted to Xizhou. It was already noon when we arrived in Xizhou and we found a restaurant "Xilin Garden" that had high reviews on the Internet. The restaurant was a B & B run by an American couple. The service was good and the environment was first-class. Before we even had eaten, it murdered many of our films. The dishes were also good, it was the best on our trip. The price per capita is ¥70, which is relatively expensive compared to the local price.

ps. Talk about "Xilin Garden". The owner is a student studying Asian culture at Stanford in the 1980s. After coming to China, he fell in love with Dali and built two old houses (the other one is Baocheng City in Xizhou) as a B & B. It has been doing this for decades.

His cured meat is the best steamed meat. At first, he thought it was either spicy or smoked, but in the end, it was not. The taste is a little lighter than Cantonese cured meat. It does not have the wine taste and sweetness of Cantonese cured meat. The best thing is the cured pork belly. It is not greasy at all. It feels like it melts in the mouth and is deeply popular! It is said that they made it themselves, but unfortunately they do not sell it to the public.

Xizhou Ancient Town

When visiting the ancient town, you can't have less snacks, including roasted milk fans, flower-flavored ice cream, and charge-baked cakes. There was also an incident in the middle. 77 was hit by a motorcycle and fell. The pitiful one cried scared everyone. I said he was dressed like a penguin. How could something happen? When it calmed down, I asked again. It turned out that the ice cream I had just eaten two bites had dropped and couldn't be eaten. Fat father immediately went to buy her another one, and the little girl immediately burst into laughter!

I have always felt that tie-dyeing is magical, especially the asymmetrical pattern, and I really want to learn it.

Xizhou Ancient Town is very small, so we stroll around until 4 o'clock. Then go to Haitang Park. Haitang Park is about 2km away from Xizhou (walking). You must go, you must go. Tell me the important things three times! If you have enough time, you can consider renting a bicycle in Xizhou. We drove there and made a big detour. You can take a carriage to the park in the parking lot, ¥5/person. There is no need. It only takes three to five minutes to walk in the parking lot. The 77 child has never been in a carriage before, so I took her to a seat. After getting on the carriage, I took a photo and arrived.

Day 3 Tour around Erhai Lake: Shuanglang Town, Wase Town

Wase Town is like a small fishing village with few scenery to see, low consumption, and simple folk customs. On New Year's Eve, we found a good-looking sea view restaurant and ate us with a ¥158 group purchase package coupon. The package included a cold dish. The lady boss asked us what to choose, but we had never eaten the tree bark before. So I ordered a cold tree bark. The lady boss said,"The tree bark is not delicious, but it's a bit bitter." Driving back to the ancient city of Dali along the Huanhai Road, the scenery is infinitely beautiful. Even if you don't do anything, just driving on this road will definitely make you feel better even if you feel depressed.

Climb high on the first day of the day and set off for Cangshan Mountain

Feel through the cableway and end at the precious chess game in the middle of the mountain. Go up to Yudai Road and the Canyon Observation Platform.

77 is so sharp. I went from the precious chess game to the Canyon Observation Deck in one go. If 66 hadn't followed her, I really couldn't handle her. I would have stopped three or four times halfway to catch my breath!

Qingbi River, winter is the dry season, and summer is more beautiful. There is a small waterfall flowing down the stone wall.

It was already past 2 o'clock when the Gantong cableway came down. I heard the staff say that the scenic spots in Yulong Snow Mountain and Kunming were closed, and the Dali scenic spots might be closed tomorrow.

I saw tie-dyeing done by the Bai grandma on the roadside and liked it very much. I bought several pieces of them, large and small. Remember to bargain for roadside shopping, at least half price. The price you get is much cheaper than that in the ancient city.

Dali, my favorite is Xizhou Ancient Town. It is not over-developed like Dali Ancient City and Shuanglang. In addition, Cangshan must be visited. Just taking a panoramic view of the ancient city and Erhai Lake from the cable car is not a waste of time.

It takes 4 and a half hours from Dali to Kunming, and it is expected that it will arrive until 7 o'clock, so I decided to come out for dinner in Chuxiong and visit Chuxiong Ancient Town.

Chuxiong has the impression that he is Yuanmou in history books.

In Chuxiong, all scenic spots have been closed due to the epidemic, and activities such as torch celebrations have also been cancelled. The ancient Yi town is very small, with only a pedestrian street, and many shops are closed.

For some reason, every time I see the photo above, I think of Grandma Tang's house in "Spirited Away".

It is already 9 p.m. in Kunming, and the hotel requires a temperature measurement when checking in, and a notice to stop receiving tourists from Hubei was posted.

The hotel is a resort. At that time, it was chosen because it was next to the Haigen Dam and only 3 kilometers away from the Longmen Cableway. Unexpectedly, it became a good place to pass the time-because the epidemic attractions were closed, feeding seagulls on the resort's small beach and playing mahjong in the room became the greatest joy of traveling to Kunming.

On Day 5th, I heard the radio saying that all the intersections of the towns (Dali, Shuanglang, Diuci) around Erhai Lake were closed. Fortunately, I left a day earlier, otherwise I wouldn't be able to get out.

Day 6 Guandu Ancient Town

The biggest gain of the trip to Kunming was that 66 learned to play mahjong. 77 said that the most interesting part of this trip was feeding seagulls and playing mahjong.

On the return trip, on January 28, Wuhan was closed and people were panicked. The country called on everyone to go out as little as possible. The airline announced that full refunds could be refunded during this period. Two cases of virus infections were found in Yunnan. Kunming Airport was empty, there were more ground staff than passengers, and the occupancy rate on our return flight was less than 1/3. I hope the epidemic will pass quickly!
