It is the precipitation of these 1,200 years that makes all newcomers eager to find the mark of the city's years. But frankly speaking, most of the "ancient cities, old streets, and ancient towns" in the country, and both sides of the most prosperous streets in the middle, are definitely occupied by shops that have nothing to do with history, such as jade articles, snacks, and cold drinks. This is true of Nanjing Confucius Temple, Chongqing Ciqikou, Guilin West Street, and Dali Ancient City is no exception. When we arrived in Xizhou Ancient Town, it began to rain, from sporadic to pattering, and then to the clattering. Faced with such a situation, we could only make a decisive decision, change our planned itinerary, increase our stay in Xizhou Ancient Town, and wait for the rain to stop. It's really like a house leaks and it rains overnight, and a boat is late and it's windy. Still think about work. When you think that the entire industry has reached its lowest point, when you think that your personal career has reached its lowest point, it is just "you think". All of this makes people feel more pessimistic and frustrated.

But fortunately, God must be fair enough. As long as you have enough patience and unremitting efforts, when he closes one door for you, he will definitely open another window for you. During the hours when Xizhou Ancient Town was forced to open, we drank tea, watched and stared in a daze in the coffee shop... Unexpectedly, not long after the afternoon, the rain stopped, the wind stopped, and the fog dissipated. Many difficulties and unpleasantness come silently and go quietly. It can be said that the entire trip (scenery and mood) was completely reversed here.

After the rain, Xizhou Ancient Town lifted its veil to us like a little daughter-in-law. The first thing that comes into view is a large area of wheat fields. When we stood in Shuanglang Town early the next morning and looked towards Cangshan and Nanzhao Style Island, the long-awaited blue sky and white clouds were in front of us. The blue sky is as pure as a mirror; the clouds are steaming and soft as a ball of cotton. Now that there are blue skies and white clouds, will the sun still be far away? Yes, the joy brought by sunny weather lasted through the last day of the trip. So much so that we have ignored all the previous haze, downturn, and negativity. All the determination and persistence in these three days were so worth it. Especially when we arrived at the last attraction, Longkan Wharf, it was the finishing touch of this trip.
