The Troubled Yunnan-Tibet Line (Yunnan Chapter)
Last month, taking advantage of the relaxation of epidemic control, we took a trip to the Yunnan-Tibet line. The process was somewhat tortuous, but it was ultimately completed relatively successfully.
Xizang is a place I have always thought of, but I have always been worried about its altitude. There are many transportation methods and routes entering Xizang from the mainland. After deciding to enter Tibet, I compared and chose various transportation methods and routes as well as travel time. The travel time is scheduled to be March, Guangzhou to fly to Nyingchi. However, as the Nyingchi Peach Blossom Festival approaches, the air ticket price rises sharply, so I gave up and switched to the C Chacha Line. The advantages of this are: First, you can take into account the Nujiang Grand Canyon. The Nujiang Grand Canyon has been a bit popular in recent years. The Nujiang River is still very beautiful in March. Second, the sea level is gradually rising. Even if you fly directly to Nyingchi, the sea level in Nyingchi is more than 2800 meters.
The original plan was: Guangzhou-Dali-Bingzhongluo-Chawalong-Chayu-Bomi-Nyingchi-Lhasa-Guangzhou.
Affected by the weather, the actual route taken is: Guangzhou-Dali-Bingzhongluo-Chawalong-Kunming-Lhasa-Nyingzhi-Lhasa-Guangzhou.
The following is the process of this walk. Interested friends can read down. It has a consistent style and only focuses on the description of transportation.
1. Guangzhou-Dali
The bullet train arrives at Dali Station on time and stays overnight at the Shangge Boutique Hotel. The hotel is about 200 meters away from Dali Station. There is a bus stop in front of the door. The price is not expensive. The standard room is more than 120 yuan per night.
2. Dali
In the morning, I went to the railway station and took the three-tower special line to the three towers of Chongsheng. I didn't have to take a sightseeing bus. Like most tourists, I walked the steps and walked to the three towers. I took a few photos of my visit here. Then I took the three-tower special line to the Sanyuekou Station and entered Yuer Road in the ancient city. I went around Boai Road, Foreign Street, etc. After a bowl of Yunnan rice noodles to solve my food and clothing, I stood on the Yuer Road to intercept the tricycle and went to Longkan Wharf. I planned to walk along the lake to Caicun Wharf. According to locals, the price is 20 to 25 yuan. But I stopped many cars, but they all cost 30 yuan. I refused to go with a counter offer of 25 yuan. I would rather sit there and wait for passengers. Later, I stopped a car that had just left off and was willing to go for 20 yuan.
After walking about 6-7 kilometers, the master talked about it. After getting off the bus, he asked passers-by the direction to Caicun. The passers-by said that this was Caicun. It turned out that the master only cared about talking and dragged us directly to Caicun.
The original idea was that the Huanhu Road should be close to the Erhai Lake. The Longkan Wharf is about 3 kilometers from Caicun Wharf. It is a good idea to enjoy the scenery while walking along the Erhai Lake. However, it was found at Caicun Wharf that the Huanhu Road is some distance from the Erhai Lake, with some trees planted in the middle, making it difficult to see the Erhai Lake on the road.
After staying for more than 30 minutes, I left Caicun Wharf and took Gucheng Road C2 to Ganjiacun Station. After getting off the bus, I went to the opposite side and took No. 8 bus back to the hotel.
3. Dali-Gongshan
In the morning, I went to the express passenger station and took the shuttle bus to Gongshan. The shuttle bus should leave at 10 o'clock. I saw that I still didn't drive at 10 o'clock. I asked the driver why. The driver said that a guy arrived at the railway station at 9:59 and was taking a taxi. He would leave immediately when he arrived. I am speechless. It makes sense if you have a regular flight. The problem is that you have a scheduled flight. You have to leave at the right time. If you leave the station, do you detour or park your car. That is another matter. Dali is a prefecture-level city, but this is even the case in terms of management.
It was the same guy who went to the toilet while resting in the service area. When the driver drove again, there was no number of people, so he left this guy in the service area. As a result, he drove slowly and parked his car to wait for him. It was already 9 p.m. when he arrived in Gongshan. I stayed overnight at Tongda Hotel and bargained for a standard room of 130 yuan.
Before going to bed, I contacted a chartered car driver for a chartered car tour of Bingzhongluo tomorrow. The asking price was 600 yuan, and the transaction was finally 550 yuan. At that time, I felt that 450-500 yuan was a reasonable price. However, because there was no contact information of other chartered car drivers, and secondly, Nyingchi was the focus of this time. I hope to visit more attractions in Nyingchi as soon as possible, such as Zhaxigang Village, Bomi Taohuagou, etc.
4. Gongshan-Bingzhongluo
It was raining lightly. At 8:30, the master went to the hotel to pick up someone. The master's surname was Yu. Master Yu was not the one who contacted last night, but the man who contacted last night gave him the order.
The regular tours in Bingzhong Luo are: the First Bay of the Nujiang River, the junction of Yunnan and Tibet, Qiunatong, Wuli Village (Ancient Tea and Horse Road), Shenshan Mountain, Chongding Church and Puhua Temple, etc. Personally, if you don't have enough time, you can visit the First Bay of the Nujiang River, the junction of Yunnan and Tibet, Wuli Village (Ancient Tea and Horse Road), Shenshan Mountain, and others can be ignored.
Master Yu's service is decent. According to him, the entire Degong line has been repaired. It takes more than 3 hours to reach it from Gongshan to Deqin when it is not raining, and more than 5 hours when it rains. Carpooling for each person is 200 yuan, and chartered for a car is 800 yuan. Friends who are interested in crossing the Three Rivers in parallel may wish to contact him.
The ancient tea-horse road is recommended to enter from the upper reaches and have fewer uphill roads.
Spend the night at Longyu Hotel, and after bargaining, the standard room is 150 yuan.
5. Bingzhongluo-Chavalon
At 8 o'clock in the morning, I took the car of Master Liubao of Bingzhongluo to Chawalong. The master's surname was Wang and was the driver responsible for delivering express delivery from Bingzhongluo to Chawalong. Master Liubao said that there was heavy snow on the mountains on the way from Chawalong to Chayu and traffic control, so it was impossible to reach Chayu today.
The cars passed through the junction of Yunnan and Tibet, Tiger's mouth and Dalisha in turn. They were basically dirt roads. They were not very difficult to walk on and the road surface was not dangerous. The danger was mainly falling rocks. On the way, they encountered two tourist minibuses coming from Chawalong. Driving over from Kunming.
Arrive in Chavalon just after 12 o'clock, 100 yuan per person.
If the connection is good, theoretically speaking, you can get to Chayu in one day.
Spend the night at Bingchacha Hotel, and after bargaining, the standard room is 110 yuan.
6. Chavalon
After getting up, I asked my boss and learned that traffic restrictions had not been lifted, so I had to watch TV at the hotel.
7. Chawalong-Gongshan-Liuku-Kunming
There was still no exact news on when the traffic control would be lifted, and I felt that it was not a good idea to wait like this. After breakfast, I decided to go back. There was no mature plan on how to handle the subsequent trip. I called Master Yu to see if anyone carpooled the car. Take the Degong Line. After all, crossing the Three Rivers in parallel is a good way. However, the master said that there was no one carpooling and the charter would cost 800 yuan. The cost was too high. If you gave up, I would better go to Liuku first.
This time, I took the car from Chavalong to Gongshan in the morning and back to Chavalong from Gongshan in the afternoon. The driver's surname was Zheng. It seems that there are many private cars running from Gongshan, Bingzhongluo to Chavalong.
We were the only ones on the bus. On the way, we asked the driver what to do if there were no one on the way back. Driver Zheng said that the seats would be full every day during this period, so if no one could bring the goods back.
It was raining, and the car drove into a parking lot located opposite the gate of the county government. It was said to be the parking lot of Taoyuan Hotel. The parking lot was full of vehicles waiting for guests. Without stopping, it was immediately replaced by Liuku. car.
On the way to Liuku, I made a decision on my future itinerary, returning to Kunming and flying to Lhasa.
When the car arrived at Liuku, it didn't stop and immediately changed to the car to Kunming. The price from Gongshan to Liuku was 130 yuan per person, while the price from Gongshan to Kunming was 400 yuan.
In this way, it is almost 1000 kilometers from Chavalong to Kunming. It started at 8 a.m. and only rested in a service area for 30 minutes halfway (8 p.m.). After 18 hours of running, I finally arrived at the hotel at 2 a.m., wash and go to sleep.
8. Kunming
I went to Yuantong Mountain and Cuiyuan that day. The cherry blossoms on Yuantong Mountain were still there, but all the red-billed gulls in Cuiyuan had flown back to Siberia.
