Dali is the romantic capital, with its romantic scenery, pastoral life, and quiet town. There is always a lifestyle that you like. Cangshan and Erhai are the places where many literary and artistic young people go to; the ancient city of Dali hides specialty shops full of surprises. In my eyes, Dali is a lazy, comfortable, and fairy city that must be visited once in a lifetime. My boyfriend knows my thoughts best and fulfilled my wishes at the beginning of 2021.
Life is not just the present, but also poetry and distance. My boyfriend and I applied for annual leave from the company and set foot in the distance to find Dali.
Our itinerary has been planned:
D1: Hangzhou Fei Hotel, stay and rest
D2: View Cangshan and Erhai Lake, Santa Park, and enjoy winter cherry blossoms
D3: Stroll through Xizhou Ancient Town
D4: Buy a letter, return trip
Although many netizens said that it was quite convenient to take a taxi in Dali, my boyfriend and I thought it would be best if we could book a hotel with chartered shuttle service. With this idea, we searched for related hotels online and finally found this hotel for us. A hotel that meets our needs-Beautiful Meet Mengdie Village.
I booked a three-night stay in Dali without hesitation. The night before we left for Dali, a dedicated housekeeper came to contact us to further confirm the itinerary information. The service of one room, one car and one housekeeper was really great. The housekeeper came to the airport on time based on the flight dynamics, and we didn't have to worry about it. This service is so good, and my taste is not bad either ~~
As soon as we got off the plane, I received a call from the housekeeper. It turned out that he had already arrived at the airport and was waiting for us at the airport. Then he told us where to get on the bus. In an instant, my impression of the hotel improved and I was looking forward to the next three nights in the hotel.
I finally arrived at the Beautiful Meet Mengdiezhuang Hotel. The hotel's design is very antique and the location is very excellent. You can overlook Cangshan and Santa Park. These two attractions just happened to be within my planning. The distance is so close that it is a bit surprising! I heard from the housekeeper that from the other road from the hotel, the ancient city of Dali is two to three minutes 'walk. Oh my God, this is so convenient!
After checking in, the young lady at the front desk carefully introduced me to the hotel and the surrounding interesting attractions.
In order to experience different rooms during these three days, we stayed in Cangshan Garden for the first two days and in Erhai Garden for the third day. The landscape layout of Cangshan Garden is super beautiful and picturesque.
This day was tiring due to the fatigue of travel and travel, so my boyfriend and I packed up a little and rested after arriving at the hotel.
We got up early the next day. The hotel has breakfast arrangements. You can place an order on the hotel's public account and choose the breakfast style you want. Hurry up and have a delicious breakfast and usher in an energetic day!
Looking at Cangshan Garden through the floor-to-ceiling glass, the scenery in Cangshan Garden in the morning has a special charm. My boyfriend knew that taking photos was my hobby and volunteered to help me take pictures.
Cangshan Garden is so beautiful, with pavilions, small bridges and flowing water, paired with a Chinese Republic of China cheongsam style, it's so easy to shoot!
A staff member just walked by and offered to take photos with my boyfriend. Hehe ~ I definitely can't miss this opportunity ~
After taking the photos, we thought about starting today's itinerary. Fortunately, we stayed at the Beautiful Meet Mengdiezhuang Hotel. The perfect housekeeper pick-up service saved us the trouble of transferring transportation.
We first went to the huge viewing platform of the Beautiful Meet Golf Hotel to admire the Erhai Lake and the pastoral villages in Dali in the morning. The sky was very clear in the morning, and there was not much fog. Every frame was beautiful.
Then we went to the Three Towers Park in the park, which houses the Three Towers of Chongsheng Temple. This is the first and most magnificent ancient temple in Dali's history. These three ancient towers can be said to be landmarks in Dali. It is indispensable to check in this attraction when visiting Dali!
If you want to see the three towers with a better view, you might as well come to the higher towers of Chongsheng Temple and look at them. Climbing the pavilion and looking back at the three pagodas in front of the temple, they are like bamboo shoots growing out of the lush woods. You can vaguely see the Erhai Lake and residential houses in the distance, which makes people feel suddenly enlightened.
The weather is really good. The housekeeper said that if we go to the Erhai Lake now, there may be unexpected surprises. We set out all the way to the Erhai Lake with expectations ~
It turns out that they are seagulls. When they are in large numbers, they can simply be described as flying in the sky. They are very eye-catching! This must show that the ecological environment of Erhai Lake is well protected before it can be favored by seagulls.
I also discovered a little secret about seagulls. It turns out that they like to eat small cookies. I can attract them to come by putting the small cookies in my hand. It's so cute ~
Along the way, the housekeeper introduced us to Dali's winter cherry blossoms, which open from November every year to February of the following year. Although the flowering time is not long, the flowers are very vigorous when they bloom and are extremely ornamental.
Today's itinerary was full. Fortunately, the housekeeper introduced us to the characteristics of the itinerary and helped us take photos. The service was so thoughtful ~
On the third day, we lived in Erhai Garden as we wished. The courtyard scenery here is quite poetic, and the green plants give me a feeling of spring.
We stayed in a single-family villa in Erhai Garden·Private Pool. It has a large living room area and the bed facing the private garden. We enjoyed the blooming and falling flowers in front of us. At this moment, it seemed that time had no dimension.
With a separate dressing table, get up in the morning and put on beautiful makeup to welcome a happy day.
The room also has a separate soaking pool. It's so comfortable to take a bath in winter.
After packing, we are ready to set off. Today's plan is to roam the ancient town of Xizhou.
Xizhou is located 18 kilometers north of the ancient city of Dali and is the main town inhabited by the Bai people. There are the most preserved and most complete Bai residential buildings here. From the layout point of view, it is a typical Bai courtyard layout with "three squares and one light wall" and "four in five courtyards".
Entering from the archway of Xizhou Ancient Town, you can see this century-old tree not far away. It is quite historical, and I certainly can't miss a photo with it.
Xizhou Baba is a famous specialty snack. It has two flavors: sweet and salty. It has a crispy outer skin, soft inside, and a distinct taste. It is very popular among tourists!
I also tasted Dali's unique dairy product-milk fan. It has a fluffy appearance and melts immediately in the mouth. Friends who like to eat milk taste should not miss this snack ~
The streets and alleys of Xizhou Ancient Town are filled with brightly colored tie-dyed decorations, as well as clothing, shoes and hats and other products, adding a bit of beautiful color to the picturesque plateau town. Dali tie-dyeing is a traditional folk handicraft of the Bai and Yi ethnic groups in Dali. It is an ancient folk handmade printing and dyeing process. Every product is infused with the artistic ingenuity of folk artists in the production process, which is a continuation of traditional art and culture.
The buildings of the ancient town are full of Bai characteristics and antique, making them most suitable for little fairies who like to take photos. I came to the place where others most often check in Xiaohongshu. The real scene and the photo were really exactly the same. It was so beautiful ~
After a day of shopping, we went to the restaurant next to Santa Park for dinner. We ordered local specialties in Dali. The dishes made of mushrooms here are particularly recommended!
The short holiday is coming to an end. On the fourth day, we plan to take a walk in the ancient city of Dali and buy some accompanying gifts to send relatives and friends back.
From the Beautiful Meet Mengdiezhuang Hotel, you can walk to the ancient city in less than 10 minutes.
Dali's distinctive snowflake silver, flower cakes, beef jerky, etc. are all the best choices for gifts. We picked some of everything and are ready to take it back to our hometown ~~
People are like springs. When their nerves are strained for a long time, they should relax appropriately, revitalize their body and mind, and inject strength again!
I am very satisfied with this trip to Dali, and I have compiled all the tour guides for the past few days for everyone! Staying at the Beautiful Meet Mengdiezhuang Hotel will alleviate a lot of transportation or accommodation problems during your trip. I recommend that everyone stay at their home when visiting Dali!
