Written before the trip

I don't know when it started, but eight out of ten people around me wanted to go to Dali. It seems that after being locked up in the city's reinforced concrete for too long, they would long for the romantic fragrance of the breeze, the mellow and simple customs and those unique cultural characteristics.

It is said that Dali is very suitable for travel all year round. The tranquility of the Erhai Lake and the lively town, the exquisite poetry of various specialty hotels, and the scenery here are far away in the tranquility. They are so beautiful that they are inadvertent but refreshing! Even sometimes when I look up at the sky, I feel that every floating cloud seems to have a story.

In April, when it was suddenly warm and still cold, I always wanted to find a quiet and simple place to avoid the cold. At this time, Dali became our first choice destination. My friend just said that we had planted another grass in Dali to have a floating afternoon tea with Internet celebrities. At the hidden luxury hotel, I couldn't bear the restlessness, so I booked the ticket and hotel in advance, and then took my friends to Dali and rushed to a mountain stay between green mountains and clear waters.

Trip overview

DAY 1: Hangzhou-Lijiang-Dali, stay at Hainer Yunshu Hotel

DAY 2: Xizhou Ancient Town, blue silk tie-dyed, self-driving around the Erhai Lake, Internet celebrity floating afternoon tea

DAY 3: Bed Sheet Art Park, Ancient City of Dali, Return Trip

Staying at Hanar-a luxurious journey of scenery, snow and moon

Due to the epidemic, there have been a lot fewer flights from Hangzhou to Yunnan recently. The route that used to allow direct flights with one click now has to go through three major steps: stopping in Zunyi, landing in Lijiang, and heading west to Dali, before we finally reach Dali as we wish. After wearing a mask all the way, getting off the plane and taking a car, I was finally liberated.

The hotel I booked was on Cangshan. It is said that this is also an international community of Canghai Golf. It is also one of the "courses that must be conquered in this life" in the eyes of many golf enthusiasts. Follow the navigation all the way to the mountain. The misty mountains and the flowing streams in the mountains all exude a natural, simple, quiet and elegant flavor. It is like a secluded paradise hidden in the busy city, making people comfortable, cozy and feeling. Healing.

"Hainer" comes from the Bai language and means "blue sky, white clouds". Backed by Cangshan Mountain and facing the Erhai Lake, the 23 guest rooms are quietly hidden in it. This resort hotel built on the mountain encounters fireworks from the world when it comes out, and is accompanied by stars when it enters. Both the rooms and entertainment facilities are worth praising. In the afternoon, you can enjoy an Internet celebrity floating afternoon tea in the Internet celebrity swimming pool, and at night, you can also experience luxurious fun in the hotel's mini golf and cigar bar. What's better is that when searching for maps, I found that Dali Ancient City is a 10-minute drive away from the hotel, and Chongsheng Temple, Dali Ancient City and other famous attractions are only a 5-minute drive away. It is super convenient to visit and watch anywhere.

When checking in the lobby, the four friends unanimously chose a single-family villa, so that everyone could live together and travel easily, and each person could enjoy a room alone. It was really fast!

Pushing the door in, the antique black walnut solid wood home makes the entire room natural and comfortable, spacious and bright, focusing on highlighting the Chinese style, elegant but not old-school, and exquisitely presenting the classical and romantic Chinese style decoration. The clean color of the room and the raw wood color constitute the color of the entire space. The furniture style is as simple and generous as ever, with flowing lines, and the hemp carpet makes people feel natural affinity;

All floor heating and air conditioning are available, including mini IPAD4, coffee maker, free wireless Internet, BOSE wireless audio system, safe that can accommodate laptops, etc. all make the entire room comfortable and elegant.

Afraid of climbing the stairs, I chose a starry sky room at the top. The clear and refreshing single room was extremely comfortable to live in. When I went downstairs to find my friends, I stopped by to visit his suite. The exquisite Chinese red color matched with the luxurious space made me envious!

There is only one restaurant in the hotel, where you can choose from Chinese and Western dishes. When I first came to Yunnan, I still wanted to eat some local specialties, so I ordered Yunnan rice noodles with the housekeeper. When the table was served, a table full of seasonings was particularly exquisite.

The soup is milky white and bright, with a strong aroma. Pour all the side dishes and rice noodles in and stir evenly to fully blend the rice noodles and the rich soup. The aroma in the air alone is already overwhelming. Everyone couldn't help but sigh that eating rice noodles like this is too ceremonial!

We had enough to eat and drink at night. After we had just arrived in Dali, we didn't want to go down the mountain and go to the ancient city to join in the fun, so we asked the housekeeper what other places to play around. However, the boys were very interested in the mini golf recommended by the housekeeper, so we simply stayed in the hotel, played golf for a while, and went to visit the surrounding red bars and cigar bars.

After listening to the housekeeper's introduction, I learned that the red bar here contains red wines from world-renowned wineries. Many of the cigars in the cigar bar are also the owner's private possession. They are private and elegant. They are usually open to tourists and are an ideal place for every business person to chat.

Several people chatted a lot in the golf bar and red bar before they remembered to ask about afternoon tea. They were afraid that it would not be provided during the epidemic, so they made an appointment with the housekeeper one day in advance, so that everyone could rest in peace of mind.

The next morning, Dali was still clear and clear. I heard that it was raining heavily in Hangzhou and the temperature dropped sharply. My friend joked that we were so lucky that we came here to take shelter from the rain and the cold.

The breakfast was ordered one day in advance by the housekeeper. There were Chinese and Western fruit drinks, sweet slices and snacks. Everyone set them together and took photos excitedly before tasting them with satisfaction. Time is lingering and stagnant, warm and comfortable. It would be a pleasure to have a cup of tea, enjoy a timeless beautiful scenery, and enjoy a wonderful time.

The scenery outside the restaurant is still the most attractive place for everyone in the hotel. In the most beautiful golf course in China, an Internet celebrity semi-suspended infinity swimming pool comes into view. Through the glass swimming pool, you can overlook the entire golf course, as if you can take a photo. It's a huge picture!

Xizhou Ancient Town, Enjoy Dali Slow Time

After coming out of the hotel, we had been to Dali three or four times. We asked the housekeeper where there were some niche and interesting attractions. After listening to his serious introduction and recommending everyone's itinerary to Xizhou and Erhai Gusheng Village, we invited him to take us on a trip together, and we could also introduce them to the big guys.

Xizhou is our first stop to check in. This is a famous Bai historical and cultural town bordering Cangshan Mountain in the west and Erhai Lake in the east. I heard that Xizhou was a military town in Nanzhao in history and one of Yunnan's commercial centers. It is still home to the most and best Bai residential buildings preserved here, and it is also the hometown of the movie "Five Golden Flowers".

Before entering the city, there is a large field of rapeseed flowers in front of me. I heard that at the end of March, it is full of golden rapeseed flowers. Coupled with Dali's healing system, the sky beauty has become a fairyland. Although the flowering period has passed now, the dark yellow color It looks a little deserted, but it gives the place a more peaceful beauty.

There are some seat props carefully placed in the field for young ladies to take photos and check in. It is said that when the peak season comes, there are people here. Now there are not many people, so everyone can take photos to their heart's content in the field.

Continue forward and stroll through the ancient town. Many buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties have been preserved here. The basic forms include "one square and one ear","one square and two ears","three squares and one light wall","four in five courtyards", etc. Ancient houses, close proximity to the surrounding traditional Bai folk houses, can also allow people to experience the life of the local Bai people up close, passing through the long bluestone path polished by the years, which is quiet and simple.

Corner Building is an Internet celebrity landmark in Xizhou. In addition to walking through the four alleys at the four corners of Sifang Street, you can stroll through all four streets at the intersection of Corner Building.

If you want to say the busiest place in Xizhou, it is definitely Sifang Street! Yes, you are right. There is also a small Sifang Street in Xizhou. The small street is filled with various stalls for buying small objects. Vendors wearing local costumes chat about daily life, especially having a sense of life.

[Lan Xu Tie Dyeing Experience]

You may also have an inexplicable illusion when you are placed in blue tie-dyed cloth.

The sky of Dali is God's tie-dyed city.

Although Zhoucheng in Dali is the gathering place for tie-dyeing, if you have limited time to come to Dali, you may wish to visit the blue silk tie-dyeing in the surrounding ancient town of Xizhou.

The town is not big, so you can see blue silk tie-dyed cloth when you walk around. When you enter the yard, you can see tie-dyed cloth of large and small sizes. The blue and white colors are deep and light, giving off a touching charm. If you are interested, you can also make your own tie-dyed here!

I heard from the young ladies that the "tie-dyeing" process of the Bai people in Xizhou has a long history. In fact, the pattern on a piece of tie-dyeing cloth is not complicated, but the entire process of tie-dyeing cloth is complicated, from dye making, framing, printing plate to tie-dyeing, desizing, multiple dipping, drying, fixing, thread removal, and rinsing. Only one barrel of indigo dye is made from 1,500 kilograms of isatis root. However, it takes half a year to plant isatis root alone to have a harvest. It still takes a long wait to ferment into dye!

Originally, I planted grass for the Internet celebrity temple Jizhao Nun. It is said that many celebrities have also come here to check in. They wanted to have an Internet celebrity vegetarian meal here, but because the temple was not open due to the epidemic, they had to give up.

When you come to Xizhou, you must arrange Xizhou Baba. It looks very similar to Chinese pizza. The flavors of Xizhou Baba are sweet and salty. You can try both fresh meat and rose sauce. The friends have already made the strategy and checked in Xizhou's time-honored brand: "Monk Broken Crispy Baba". It tastes really good. haha.

After tasting the snacks and seeing that it was nearly noon, I checked in to a Hanlin Academy restaurant in the ancient town. This is also a Bai ancient architectural experience store. Signature dishes such as old milk potatoes, braised chicken, fried pork with pickled cabbage, and hot and sour fish were served one by one, with full color, aroma, and praise.

Tips related to Xizhou Ancient Town:

(1) Address: Xizhou Ancient Town, Provincial Highway 221, Dali City, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province

(2) Transportation: Take the CMB bound for Xizhou in the ancient city of Dali or Xiaguan, and stop immediately along the Dian-Tibet Highway. The fare is 5-8 yuan. It takes 1 hour from Xiaguan to Xizhou. You can go back and forth on the same day, or you can stay in Xizhou overnight.

(3) Open all day and tickets are free.

Driving around the Erhai Lake, the most beautiful time is on the road

Coming out of Xizhou Ancient Town, the next stop is the must-check spot in Dali, Erhai Lake. Erhai Lake is a location where many movies are filmed. It is better to go west to Dali. This literary saying has been popular for many years. If you go to Dali, you must go to Erhai. The water of Erhai Lake is pure and crystal clear. It is called the flawless jade in the world. Anyone who comes to Dali will come to this place.

I heard that many places around the Erhai Lake were being built and could not be entered, and Haishue Park, which I was longing for, was no exception. The housekeeper accompanying me recommended a route to Gusheng Village (I felt it would be nice to have a local tour guide at this time). The houses in Gusheng Village are simple and simple, the streets and alleys are clean, surrounded by streams and shaded by green trees. A short walk around the village will lead you to the Erhai Lake. Although it is a dry season, the Erhai Lake in Dali is still beautiful.

Looking quietly into the distance, on the banks of Cangshan and Erhai, amidst the wind and snow, Dali always has a kind of beauty and a touching story that gives you reasons to go.

A place like the Erhai Lake is not about passing by in a flash. Only by carefully tasting it can you appreciate its romance. Walking slowly along the Huanhai Road, on a sunny day, you will encounter the beauty of Cangshan and Erhai Lake.

Heinar-Finally checked in for the floating afternoon tea that I was longing for

After a rough day, we heard the housekeeper say that the floating afternoon tea that the hotel was longing for was already ready, so we happily got on the car and returned to the hotel to rest.

I have read a lot of "Bali Floating Breakfast/Afternoon Tea" that has been hyped up in my circle of friends before. I want to experience it every time I go to the island, but I always miss it. I didn't expect Dali to also have floating afternoon tea. This was the first attraction to this hotel. My place!

Unfortunately, the weather turned cloudy and cold when I came back in the afternoon, and I couldn't bear to miss this Internet celebrity afternoon tea, so I still sat by the pool and took a few photos.

Heiner's infinity heated swimming pool adopts a 360° panoramic design and constructs a panoramic view. Hanging high on the green golf course, it looks like a sapphire dotted between heaven and earth.

Meeting three or two friends here, talking about ideals in life, taste and vision are a kind of enjoyment, and in a trance, there is the illusion of arriving in Bali, and those difficult times become interesting and clear ~

After coming up from the pool, the sky was getting dark and the cold was getting colder. The hotel housekeeper affectionately prepared Yunnan's characteristic local chicken bacon hot pot for everyone. He cooked all kinds of vegetarian and meat dishes and chatted about family affairs, but he was a little reluctant to part with it.

Art and trendy trends in the ancient city--Bed Sheet Factory Art District

The itinerary on the last day was very simple. The housekeeper still accompanied us and took us to visit a new popular celebrity check-in spot in Dali-Dali Bed Sheet Factory Art District. This is also a gathering place for literary and art lovers, including bookstores, art, studios, and a casual photo is full of artistic feelings!

The Art District was created in 2014 and is a complex of modern culture and art converted from an abandoned factory building. On the basis of retaining the old factory buildings of the 1990s and adding artistic design, the overall feeling is retro and full of modernity.

The small art district has attracted many artists, craftsmen, writers, musicians, painters, photographers, silverware designers, architectural designers, bands, potters, etc. to open independent bookstores, galleries, cafes, teahouses, gourmet kitchens, etc. More than 40 studios in different fields fully represent Dali's unique multicultural art form.

As you walk in, you can see the small bread-melon market, retro doors, old seats, and cool motorcycles, making this place instantly transformed into a very artistic check-in place.

The first floor is extremely wide and houses many original works by designers. The spiral staircase has great visual impact, while the second floor is a coffee bar during the day and turns into a quiet bar at night. It is a great enjoyment in life when you visit during the day.

Address: No. 56, Cangping Street, Dali City, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture

Tickets are free and open all day

Reminder: The market time in the Bedsheet Factory Art District is the last Saturday of each month.

Say goodbye to the ancient city and never leave Dali

On the way back, I suddenly wanted to go to the ancient city to find tie-dyed check-in photos, so I returned to the ancient city of Dali. The ancient city of Dali at the foot of Cangshan was built in the 15th year of Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty (AD 1382), also known as Ye Yu City, Forbidden City, and Zhonghe Town. It has a history of more than 1200 years and is the capital of the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom and Dali Kingdom.

In early spring in Dali, the streets in the city have a typical checkerboard layout. The warm sunshine shines on the elegant Wuhua Building, and bustling tourists move from one end of the ancient city to the other.

The buildings of the ancient city are made of green tile roofs, which looks very simple and quiet. You can see small shops full of emotion everywhere, with unspeakable freedom and comfort. The blue bricks and bougainvillea by the wall seem to be quietly telling the prosperity and excitement here. Walking on the bluestone slabs covered with time marks, looking at the white walls and green tiles all over the street, a soft heart also melts into the old days of the ancient city.

Finally, in the alley near Wuhua Building, I found the tie-dye check-in photos that I had been longing for, ending this luxurious but niche trip to Dali.

I like the passage very much. Mountains and water can fall in love in pairs, and the day and the moon can have nothing to do with it! If a place can allow you to let go of the past and stay here, it must be the warmth here that makes you reluctant to leave!

I think Dali is such a place that people miss. In March of the next year, cherry blossoms will bloom and rapeseed flowers will fill the fields. I will come here to spend a slow period of scenery and snow.

1. About transportation:

(1) You can come to Dali by plane and train. If you use plane, there are few direct flights across the country to Dali. They usually arrive in Kunming or Lijiang via transit.

(2) There are few direct routes to Dali by train or high-speed rail. You can go to Kunming first and then take the high-speed train to Dali. The high-speed train only takes 2 hours to arrive. The train usually takes five or six hours, and there are about four or five trains a day.

(3) Small transportation:

A. Dali Ancient City is almost thirty to forty minutes 'drive from Dali Airport and Dali Railway Station. If you go to Dali Railway Station first, you can take a bus or Didi or carpool to the ancient city of Dali.

B. You can ask the B & B or the hotel if there is a pick-up service. Heiner, who we stayed at this time, can pick up the pick-up service for free at Dali Airport or Dali Railway Station.

2. About food:

When I come to Dali, as a foodie, what I actually want to recommend most is the food here.

The various snacks in Jiahua Cake Shop on Fuxing Road, including flower cakes and cloud leg cakes, are particularly delicious.

You must try the roasted milk fan when you come to Dali. The roasted milk fan is dipped in brown sugar. It is sour and sweet, and has endless aftertaste. Although this is a very famous Dali snack, to be honest, many foreign tourists really can't get used to it.

There are also pea flour, shredded rice, cold chicken rice noodles, wild mushroom hot pot, and too many Yunnan snacks waiting for you to check in ~~

3. About the accompanying gift

(1) If you like to drink tea, you can consider Yunnan's Pu 'er, Xiaguan Tuocha, Dianhong and other teas are famous;

(2) Nuodeng ham crispy is known as the "lost delicacy on the tip of the tongue." The filling inside is ham, which is sweet and salty and very delicious.

(3) When you come to Dali, it is incomplete if you have not eaten flower cakes. They are light, soft, sweet and super delicious. I recommend Jiahua or Pan Xiangji.

(4) Dali tie-dyeing is a local handicraft in Dali. It includes costumes, trinkets, national-style cloth towels, cloth bags, etc., which are very local characteristics.

4. Other tips:

(1) Yunnan's ultraviolet rays are very strong. Bring enough sun protection equipment (sufficient sunscreen (preferably more than 30 times), sunglasses, hats or silk scarves, etc., moisturizing masks for girls are essential)

(2) The temperature difference between day and night in Yunnan is relatively large, so remember to bring a thick coat

(3) Friends from plain areas may have altitude reactions when they go to Yunnan, so they should pay attention to drinking more water.
