I met you once, but you didn't know that I thought of you thousands of times in my dreams.
The you I used to make me nostalgic for, and the you I wanted to have finally become what you are today.
Once upon a time, you have been wandering, and those times that will never come back often made you stare blankly.
You used to yearn for it, and you would look up whenever there was a storm.
Once upon a time, you were on the road, chasing that sky...
On the first day, we arrived at Kunming by high-speed train. After checking in, we began to visit the night view of Haigeng Park.
On the morning of the second day, Kunming took a half-day check-in tour. The main attractions include Dianchi Lake Haigeng Park, Xishan Scenic Area, and Haigeng Dam. After lunch in Cuihu Park, take the high-speed train to cross Dali at 4 p.m., which is a two-hour drive. After checking in at the inn in the evening, we began to visit Dali Ancient City Night Market Street.

A total of 69 yuan was spent on meals in Kunming, and a total of 78 yuan was spent on meals in Dali. The total expenditure on meals was: 147 yuan.
GuangxiHigh-speed rail meals ordered in Guangxi cost 35 yuan a box. When served, they were still hot and even a little hot.
GuangxiOpening it and taking a look, it still felt good, and it also attracted salivating eyes from around. So he couldn't control the onlookers and ate in large gulps.
GuangxiThe 38-yuan high-speed rail meal ordered by my friends,
GuangxiMy friend didn't feel bad about the lunch. He couldn't care so much and ate it on the train like me.
KunmingIt was already evening when I arrived in Kunming, so I had a dinner for 16 yuan at a small restaurant in the city.
KunmingThis is the restaurant where we had dinner. The seat was full at that time, many of whom were students. We found a corner to sit down and eat quietly.
DaliThis was breakfast the next morning in Kunming. A bowl of pumpkin porridge was 8 yuan. My friends also ordered some steamed buns to eat them later on the way to play.
DaliA hasty lunch for two people costs a total of 26 yuan. This was also the last and only lunch in Kunming. After eating this lunch, we were going to leave this city and rush to another city: Dali.
DaliThe first dinner in the ancient city of Dali cost 15 yuan per person. This was the place where we had our first dinner in the ancient city of Dali. The location is on Yeyu Road.
DaliDinner on the second day in the ancient city of Dali is 15 yuan. Breakfast was a bowl of white porridge and steamed buns, which cost eight yuan per person. Today, I traveled around Erhai Lake, and lunch was settled on the way. My friend and I only ate some flower cakes to satisfy our hunger.
DaliThe breakfast on the third day in the ancient city of Dali and the subsequent breakfast cost the two people a total of 34 yuan. After this breakfast, we were ready to leave this place again.
DaliThe barreled noodles for lunch on the high-speed train on the return journey cost 5 yuan.
Accommodation IntroductionOne night stay in Kunming for a suite is 159.46 yuan, and two nights stay in Dali Ancient City is 146.66 yuan. The average cost per person on accommodation was 153.06 yuan.
dianchiAt the inn where we stayed in Kunming, the landlady booked a suite for us, and the room was quite decent. The room I stayed in was a double bed room.
dianchiThe room has a washing machine. I also used it to wash clothes that night.
dianchiOn the coffee table in the living room, my friends couldn't wait to grab an electric kettle to boil water.
dianchiThis is the kitchen with bowls and chopsticks, rice cookers, range hoods, and microwave ovens. If you live here for a while, you can really cook your own meals.
dianchiOn the small bed in the living room, my friends chose to sleep here and become the director.
dianchiThe refrigerator on the balcony was empty.
dianchiThe balcony and the living room are separated by curtains, so you can close the curtains when you sleep.
dianchiI'm gonna sleep here tonight. It might be more warm if the quilt and sheets were replaced in soft colors. The white color gives people a very stiff feeling, a bit like the illusion of living in a hotel.
dianchiThis is the place to take a bath. Remember: Before check-in, you must know whether to bring disposable items, otherwise you will need to bring them yourself, but you must use the towels you bring yourself. Other disposable items can be used at will.
dianchiMy friend likes to watch TV series. Now I also know why my friend likes to sleep in the living room.
dianchiThe scenery of the community when I woke up in the morning.
dianchiAnd we live in a one-unit suite in one of the buildings here.
dianchiThere were not many people in the community in the morning, but you could see cars parked everywhere.
dianchiThere are actually many buildings in this community that have been converted into inns. When we walked out along this section of the road, we met three or four jian houses.
dianchiTo be honest, if it weren't for the day, I might get lost here at night. When I first came here to look for an inn, it was already dark, but I lost my way. Fortunately, the landlady was such a good person that she came out to pick us up so that we did not delay our trip that night.
dianchiThe view of the room was taken the next morning.
dianchiOpening the curtains, you can also see part of the view of the dam in the distance through the window beside the bed. You can already hear the cries of some seagulls in the room.
dianchiTerrace view during the day.

The above is the accommodation situation in Kunming. The following is the accommodation situation in Dali. It was two nights in the same inn.
This is the inn where we stayed in the ancient city of Dali. It is located in an alley with a quiet environment nearby.
Dali ancient cityThe words on the wall all reveal that the owner of the house is a literary and artistic person, and at least she should also love literature and art.
Dali ancient cityGood writing is like a scenery that is deeply unforgettable.
Dali ancient cityThe decoration on the entrance of the inn.
Dali ancient cityA fruit tree planted in the small courtyard of the inn. This season is full of fruits, and some of the ripe ones begin to fall to the ground.
Dali ancient cityThere is a glass rooftop on the third floor of the inn where clothes can be dried. You can also drink tea and chat on it, and you can also watch stars and elephants at night.
Dali ancient cityIn the small courtyard inside the inn, fruit trees, pumpkins and some unknown small plants were planted.
Dali ancient cityThere are also some paintings hanging on the walls of the inn. Some landscape paintings are painted directly on the walls.
Dali ancient cityThe room we stayed in was a double room. Although the room is small, it is warmly decorated.
Dali ancient cityThe room has its own bathroom. All the disposable utensils are in this small bathroom.
Dali ancient cityI don't know why, but I thought about this sentence for a long time. I feel like I'm thinking about it every day now.
Dali ancient cityThe same standard as the hotel: TV, remote control, hot water kettle, and hair dryer, right in the drawer.
Dali ancient cityThe picture hanging on the wall where the little friend lives.
Dali ancient cityAt first, I thought it was some kind of decoration, but this is actually a bedside lamp, which is convenient for those who like to turn on the small light to watch their mobile phones and sleep.
Dali ancient cityNight stand with sockets and switches. This was roughly the case in the room we stayed in. I believe that each inn will have its own characteristics. Therefore, we are quite satisfied with our accommodation in the ancient city of Dali. We booked it for two nights.
Kunming itinerary[Day 1]
FoshanAt the beginning, the plan was to travel by plane, but I didn't expect the final result to travel by high-speed rail. This is the longest and farthest trip I have taken on the high-speed train. It takes eight hours to take the high-speed train from Foshan, Guangdong to Kunming, Yunnan. God! I was also stunned at the time, but as a result, I accepted and started this trip. Because the initiator is yourself. What we see now is the situation inside the high-speed train. It seems that many people still prefer high-speed rail travel.
NanningPassing through Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi, I am afraid that one day I will visit this place again, rather than just passing through this place.
Kunming South Railway StationAfter eight hours of trekking, we finally arrived at this place at about six o'clock in the evening. This is the Kunming South High-speed Railway Station. After leaving the station, I felt that the temperature had dropped a lot, and I had to put on a piece of clothing immediately.
Kunming South Railway StationThese marching lines are the crew members and conductor of the train. When we arrived here, that was when they got off work.
Kunming South Railway StationAfter watching the team leave in this hall, we also began to look for a place to take a ride. Finally, we chose to take the subway, a fast means of transportation.
Kunming South Railway StationThere are actually buses that run directly to Haigeng Park at Kunming South High-speed Railway Station, but looking at the timetable, we have missed the last bus. Many vehicles are out of service after 6 p.m., so we can only choose to take the subway and then transfer to the bus to stay at Haigeng Dam. What I see now is a one-way ticket for Kunming Metro purchased from a ticket machine.
KunmingWorried that he couldn't find food at the Haigeng Dam, he decided to have dinner in the city before going back to his place of accommodation. What we see now is what we see on a double-decker bus. There are not many passengers and many seats are empty, and we are sitting in the middle.
haitang damAfter dinner, I went to the inn and checked in. It took me more than an hour. It was already more than nine o'clock in the evening. So after putting down our luggage and checking in at the inn, we hurried to the Haigeng Dam. Because the weather was a little cold, I didn't take too many photos. This is a scene taken on a viewing platform at the dam. The lighting on the opposite bank and on the river is actually quite beautiful. Due to the darkness, the handheld camera could not capture the effect, so we could only use black and white colors and words to describe it. The video is as follows:
haitang damHaigeng Dam is a little windy at night. Friends who come here to play in winter remember to bring multiple clothes to warm up.
haitang damIn addition to the beautiful lights, there is no view of mountains and water here at night. I guess the same situation will be the same when I go to Haigeng Park. So we walked leisurely along the Haigen Dam.
haitang damFinally, I walked to this place and then returned to my place of accommodation the same way. That's all for the first day in Kunming, and the first day's trip ended here.
I didn't go to Haigeng Park. In fact, I also considered that it would take 20 to 30 minutes to walk there. After taking an eight-hour high-speed train to get to this place, I felt very tired, so I gave up going to Haigeng Park at night to watch the night view and play., save this time for a good rest.
[Second day itinerary]
Since I went to bed late the first night, I woke up late the next morning, so I'll just talk about that. Speaking of which, we didn't go straight to the Haigen Dam when we went out in the morning, but first looked for a place to eat breakfast. So on the way, he saw a bus stop sign on the roadside. In fact, this bus station is less than five minutes 'walk from where we live. It can be said to be very close and it is very convenient to get a ride. This place has also become a must-pass place for us.
[Tip: There are no snack shops at Haigeng Dam. The places for breakfast are concentrated on Yinghai Road near the station. The snack shops there also operate noon and evening snacks]
The road we see now is called Guanjing Road. On the left side in this direction is the residential area and the inn and B & B area; on the right side is the Haigen Dam. Straight ahead in this direction is Dianchi Haigeng Park. It takes about half an hour or more to walk to Haigeng Park from here.
haitang damThe situation of eating breakfast is omitted here. If you want to know the situation, please refer to the meal details section, which has been introduced there and will not be repeated here.
Speaking of which, after having breakfast on Yinghai Road, we returned to Haigeng Dam, and now we are seeing a large group of people dancing in the square. We also started our journey in Kunming Dianchi Lake from here.
It needs to be clarified that this is not a river, but a lake. If you don't believe it, you can search for information on Dianchi Lake online and find out, because this place cannot be clearly seen at night. So when I looked at this place at night, I thought it was a river, and I also called it the river surface. Now it needs to be corrected to avoid misleading everyone about Dianchi Lake.
haitang damYou can now see some cruise ships and a dock on the lake in the early morning. At night, there was no light on here, so it was pitch black and nothing could be seen clearly.
haitang damWalking along the dam, you can see a statue of Nie Er. There are actually several places on the dam like these statues. Friends who love to check in can start checking in from here.
haitang damContinuing in this direction, you can see some tourists who get up in the morning and play upstream of the dam. There are also some statues nearby suitable for checking in.
haitang damNow you can see that the sky above your head feels a bit like dark clouds, making people feel a little oppressive. Fortunately, this is a short period of weather. If you adapt to this weather, you will find it very beautiful.
haitang damWalking forward, I finally came to the same place I had been to last night. Coming to this place during the day now feels different. The position I am in now feels like I am being watched. In fact, we are all scenery in the eyes of those people on the shore. They looked at the scenery far behind us, and as a result, we became part of those scenery.
haitang damNow I can see some seagulls flying in the sky above the water. I want to get excited, but I suddenly can't get excited. Because I have seen photos of this place online, there should be many seagulls here. Why are there so few? It is understood that this is because the current weather is too warm, and most seagulls have not yet migrated. They will choose a later month, such as November and December or even January next year. With the migration coming, it is estimated that more seagulls will be seen by then. Another thing is that most of the seagulls that spend the winter in Kunming no longer come to Dianchi Lake, but go to other quieter wetland parks in Kunming. As a result, fewer and fewer seagulls will be seen here in Dianchi Lake. If you want to see seagulls, you should recommend coming back to Kunming in November every year or visiting other wetland parks in Kunming. I believe the number of seagulls you see is more than now.
haitang damThis direction is Haigeng Park. It feels as if the Haigeng Dam has no end in sight. No wonder the map navigation says that it takes twenty to thirty minutes to walk from here to Dianchi Haigeng Park!
haitang damAnother white sculpture on the Haigeng Dam. When we reached this position, we stopped again to enjoy the scenery.
haitang damThe thick dark clouds dissipated, leaving behind a lake as calm as a mirror. In fact, there is still a little breeze blowing on the lake. You can see some small waves, so the words "calm as a mirror" here just describe the lake as quiet and beautiful, not completely calm.
haitang damThe small sailboats on the lake are actually small boats with lights at night. During the day, they stay quietly there to dot the calm lake, adding some places to the monotonous lake where tourists can stare.
haitang damA cleaning boat cut through the tranquil lake, and the quiet morning started a lively day.
haitang damAfter enjoying the scenery on this quiet dam, we continued to move towards the cableway (Haigeng Park).
haitang damHalfway through, I met some tourists taking photos. They have also become a special scenery in my lens.
haitang damAs we move forward, we encounter more and more tourists. At this time, you can also see a ray of morning light shining on the West Mountain Scenic Area in the distance.
haitang damBefore the seagulls appeared, each of these tourists walking on the dam was a scenery that I quietly received into the camera. Many years later, I hope I can still remember this scene, such a group of people, such a scenery, and such a moment when we met.
haitang damThe feeding of some tourists also attracted the close of some seagulls.
haitang damNow, a large group of seagulls can finally be seen. The seagulls here are mainly red-billed gulls, and their mouths are all red, so they are easy to distinguish.
haitang damAlthough not many seagulls appear, they still attract many tourists to stop and watch and feed.
haitang damThese seagulls are also very human. As long as someone reaches out their hands to feed them, they will fly close to the shore, otherwise they will return to the lake.
haitang damAfter the feeding wave, the seagulls flew back to the center of the lake, away from the onlookers.
haitang damAlthough there are not many seagulls and the seagulls disperse away from the shore, many tourists still linger on this dam where seagulls have appeared.
haitang damLeave the lively group of tourists behind and continue to move forward.
haitang damNow you can see that the water here is really calm, and you can't feel a wave. It's not too much to describe it as calm as a mirror, and the reflected scenery is quite beautiful.
haitang damThe blue sky and white clouds are beautiful reflected on the lake.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkAfter dozens of minutes of walking, I finally arrived at Dianchi Haigeng Park. What we see now is a cable car ticket we bought, and our plan is to take the cable car to the Xishan Scenic Area first, and then come down and visit Dianchi Haigeng Park. The cable car ticket costs RMB 70, including round-trip journey, but not including scenic spot tickets. If you want to enter the Longmen Scenic Area and go to higher places, you must buy another ticket for the Longmen Scenic Area. We only realized that this was a routine when we went to the Longmen Scenic Area. So, let's give some advice to those who come after us now! When visiting this place, I still recommend that everyone buy ticket tickets online, at least it will be more discounted than buying them separately on site.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkThere were really many people who took the cable car to the Xishan Scenic Area in the morning. Fortunately, they came early and were at the front of the queue. However, the small team in front of us had to be divided into three groups of people. A cable car carried six people. It took us almost twenty minutes to queue up here before it was our turn to go up.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkThe scenery of Dianchi Lake photographed from the cable car. It feels like Dianchi Lake is really big.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkData show that Dianchi Lake, also known as Kunming Lake, is located in the center of Kunming Bazi. It starts from Chenggong District in the east, ends at the foot of the West Mountain in the west, is adjacent to Daguan Park in the north, and enters Jinning County in the south. It is all in Kunming City, the capital of Yunnan Province, and the northern half belongs to the jurisdiction of Kunming City. Among them, the northwest lies in the Xishan District, accounting for about one third of the area. The entire lake area is 330 square kilometers, and the shoreline is 163.2 kilometers long. Dianchi Lake is an earthquake fault subsidence type lake with an altitude of 1886 meters and its shape looks like a crescent moon. Dianchi Lake is also the largest lake in Southwest China and the sixth largest freshwater lake in China.
To be honest, this is the first time I look at such a large lake from this perspective, and I am completely shocked. I believe I will always remember this place.
Now, even if we take a cable car up the mountain, we can only see a small part of Dianchi Lake.
Xishan Scenic AreaAfter getting off the cable car, this is the place when you come out. Xuguang Pavilion, I heard that a place where you can see downtown Kunming. But in fact, in this place, we only see some scenery from Haigeng Park, and we can't see the farther city. It seems that this is only halfway up the mountain, and we have to go higher to see more and farther.
Xishan Scenic AreaA brief introduction to the Xishan Scenic Area near Xuguang Pavilion. It seems that we have really been tricked. To go to the higher Longmen Scenic Area, we have to buy another scenic spot ticket.
Xishan Scenic AreaMoney was wasted because he was worried that there was not enough time to enter the Longmen Scenic Area (the official recommendation was 1-3 hours). We decided to walk near Nie Er's tomb this time. This is an archway in the square, and Nie Er's tomb is on the left.
Xishan Scenic AreaSeeing the bronze statue, this is Nie Er's tomb. There is a platform for tourists to pay homage to martyr Nie Er.
Xishan Scenic AreaA platform and tombstone for tourists to pay homage to martyr Nie Er.
Xishan Scenic AreaNow we see the toll office and entrance of Longmen Scenic Area. Some tourists are forced to buy an extra ticket here to continue visiting.
Xishan Scenic AreaAn advertisement for an environmentally friendly tourist bus on the square. Friends who come here to play may wish to refer to it.
Xishan Scenic AreaA guide map of the Xishan Scenic Area on the square.
Xishan Scenic AreaAfter visiting the square, we took the cable car back. The feeling of going down the mountain is more thrilling than going up the mountain. Very steep, very steep, and very fast.
Xishan Scenic AreaI guess I won't take the cable car down the mountain again next time I come. The speed is too fast and steep, so I would rather take the environmentally friendly bus. I remember that for a short period of time, I was holding the corner of my friend's clothes tightly, and I couldn't sit still and shook a lot.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkFinally, he returned safely to a place close to the water. Looking at the rippling blue waves of the water, my nervous mood began to relax.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkThe endless lake gives people the feeling of being vast.
dianchiThe scenery of Dianchi Lake photographed on the cable car going down the mountain.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkThe more you experience and the more you know, the more you will know how small you are. Sometimes we live like a drop of water in this lake. We don't know where we are, how small and remote we are.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkThe scenery in the direction of the West Mountain photographed on the cable car near Dianchi Haigeng Park. Now we also know that the road below divides Dianchi Lake into two and turns it into two lakes with different scenery, one big and the other.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkBack at Dianchi Lake Haigeng Park, now looking at the scenery at the Xishan Scenic Area from a distance, the Xishan Mountain still gives people the feeling that it is majestic, steep and unattainable.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkIf we see this animal, it means that we are now walking somewhere in Haigeng Park. Yes, in addition to the wild species of seagulls in a certain place in Dianchi Haigeng Park, there are also some captive birds that walk around on the ground, such as pigeons. They also have a very cute appearance and demeanor. This pigeon seems not to be afraid of human approach, but also deliberately slowly approached my camera.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkBronze statue of a bicycle in the park. Let me also tell you a piece of news. In fact, in addition to hiking, Dianchi Haigeng Park can also rent a car and ride. So this bronze statue information is probably to tell everyone that you can ride and visit Dianchi Haigeng Park.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkWalking along the embankment by the lake, you can see the rough waves of the lake. In fact, when walking by the lake, everyone is always worried and careful. Because if you are not careful and attentive, you will be wetted by the incoming wind and waves hitting the embankment. Therefore, friends walking and taking photos along the embankment should pay attention to the arrival of wind and waves.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkA white statue seen in Haigeng Park is also a check-in point for some tourists. Some tourists will take a group photo here.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkLooking into the Lake of Dianchi Lake, you can now see a cruise ship full of tourists heading into the distance.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkIn fact, along the way, apart from some pigeons, I didn't seem to have encountered any seagulls, and there were relatively few tourists on the embankment here.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkOn the winding coastline, the wind and waves are still very strong, constantly beating against the shore.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkNear the cruise ship terminal, there is a protruding embankment. Here, I look back at the road and coastline that I have been walking over. It turned out that we had walked a long way without realizing it.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkLooking at the scenery here at the dock again, you can see that there are some cruise ships docking at the dock. It is understood that the cruise ship of this level seen now belongs to a luxury cruise ship, with a maximum passenger capacity of 150 people. The cost of taking a boat to visit Dianchi Lake is 100 yuan per person. Children under 1.2 meters are free of charge, and the voyage is one hour. There are also some smaller and economical cruise ships that charge 60-80 yuan per person. Friends who want to take a cruise to visit Dianchi Lake are advised to consult relevant terminals and cruise route information before deciding to buy a ticket to visit.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkLeave the embankment and return to the grassland on the bank. You can now see a winding coastline and an open grassland in the park.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkA tourist is taking pictures of small flowers and plants with his mobile phone close to the ground under the shade of a tree. Her serious appearance is unforgettable. Perhaps many years later, I still remember such a scenery and moment when I had interactions with others.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkA luxury cruise ship called "Dianyou No. 1" moored on the dock. The cruise ship has just finished unloading passengers and is waiting for the next batch of tourists to arrive.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkThe pier we see now is called Bainiaoyuan Pier, which is also the farthest location we can walk east from the cableway in Dianchi Haigeng Park. Because our friends were worried that there was not enough time, we returned from the pier.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkOn the way back, I saw a small sightseeing train. Some tourists were getting off the car. Next to it is a children's playground, a place suitable for children to play.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkThe two beautiful women who were broadcasting a live broadcast in the park, it seems that they really found the right place. Unfortunately, it was a little in the way, so I could only walk into the grass and bypass them from the grass.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkGenerally speaking, Dianchi Haigeng Park is relatively large. We only walked a small section of the coastline for limited time. It feels that there are more tourists here than Haigen Dam, and you can meet tourists everywhere. The wind and waves on the lake here are also relatively strong, and you will get your body wet if you are not careful, so it is not suitable to walk close to the embankment. If you live in Yunnan Minzu Village, it is quite convenient to visit Dianchi Lake Haigeng Park. However, it takes at least 30 minutes for us to come from Haigeng Dam to more than 40 minutes. Therefore, sometimes when visiting a large park, cycling is the best choice.
Dianchi Haigeng ParkThis is an entrance and exit of Dianchi Haigeng Park. There is no toll collection office here, only a canteen. There are also many shared bicycles nearby for tourists to rent a car and visit Haigeng Park. Therefore, friends who don't want to walk can consider renting a bicycle here to ride around the entire Dianchi Haigeng Park.
haitang damIn the end, we still returned the same way and walked back to the Haigeng Dam. The scenery we see now is the scenery at around ten o'clock in the morning.
haitang damThere are not many tourists on the Haigeng Dam at this time, and there is no such thing as Dianchi Haigeng Park, where a large group of tourists is encountered everywhere.
haitang damOn a certain section of the dam, there are still some tourists throwing food into the water, attracting some seagulls to compete for it.
haitang damOn the way back, I saw a cruise ship terminal and a quiet lake view.
haitang damAt this time, you can see a small number of seagulls in the middle of the lake. They are all red-billed gulls.
haitang damOn the way back, I saw the mountains in the distance and the blue sky and white clouds in the sky, reflected on the calm lake. I felt very peaceful and beautiful.
haitang damIn this direction, the blue sky and white clouds that I like to see appear in large chunks again.
haitang damOverlooking the scenery of the West Mountain opposite from the Haigeng Dam.
haitang damWhen I came to Kunming this time, I only took a cable car to explore the Xishan Scenic Area. It was a shallow experience of the beauty of the Xishan Mountains, but I didn't have a deep tour. I can only make up for this regret when I travel to this place in the future.
haitang damThe uncle in front of me is a lone ranger. I admire people who travel alone. They are using their courage and loneliness to write the height of life. In fact, I also thought I could complete this trip alone. Unexpectedly, my friends were interested in this place very early, so they hit it off and came together.
haitang damEveryone is a landscape, but we are not used to watching things that change their location become landscapes. Because people can move, change positions, leave, go away, and disappear, we don't want some people to become scenery in our hearts. Then remember him as a story. In this way, you will remember the trip, and you will also remember some details, including meeting some people, not just a certain scenery, one encounter.
haitang damOn the dam, a couple is sitting in their luggage enjoying the scenery. Their backs have also become a certain scenery in my eyes at this moment.
haitang damA cruise ship is slowly passing by on the lake, and the calm water surface is rippling again.
haitang damSeveral families of young and old traveling with their children. Behind this place is Kunming Hongta Sports Center.
haitang damLet's talk about the weather. In fact, the temperature difference between morning and evening in Kunming is still quite large. I wore two pieces of clothes in the morning and went out, but I had to change to one at noon. It is now October, and the temperature at noon is about 20 degrees. In the south, especially in Guangdong, the temperature is like summer, and you can wear a short-sleeved dress. Therefore, when traveling in Kunming, you don't have to worry too much about the low temperature in winter. Especially in this weather, you just need to wear an extra piece of clothing on you in the morning and evening. Take off when it's hot and put it on when it's cold. I feel like some of the warm clothes I brought are no longer of use in this weather.
haitang damOn the way back, I saw a small stall selling seagull food on the dam, and a girl in national costumes waiting for tourists to visit.
haitang damNow we can see that this road is a landscape road, the road next to the Haigeng Dam. Now we can see that at noon, cars are parked on the side of the road near the dam.
haitang damParking here is charged, including parking meters and special managers. Therefore, private car owners, please remember to consciously abide by traffic rules when you come here to play, and you still have to pay for parking.
haitang damThis road is called Hongta West Road, and Kunming Hongta Sports Center is on the right hand side of the road in this direction.
haitang damI am walking back to the inn. It's time to sell an advertisement for this place! The place where we stayed during our trip to Kunming this time was called Tingtao Yayuan. It's about ten minutes from here and you'll be there in this direction. It is a residential community where you can hear the cries of seagulls. There are many inns converted from private houses. You can also find a lot of cheap inn names by searching online here. As for which inn to stay in, I won't say much. Everyone has their own likes and choices. I just want to make some suggestions. If you travel here, considering the bus stop nearby, the proximity to the dam and the beautiful scenery, you can consider staying here for one night. This way you can also experience the confusion and beauty of being woken up by the cries of seagulls in winter.
haitang damOn the way back, I passed near the Great Hall of the People in Haigeng and saw that the roadside was full of chrysanthemums, which were blooming beautifully and brilliantly.
haitang damThe direction we see now is towards Dianchi Haigeng Park. And we are almost back to our accommodation.
Back at our accommodation, we began to pack our luggage and check out. After checking out, it was almost twelve noon. So I went to a small stall near the station for lunch. Regarding the eating situation, you can look at the eating details section, which will not be tired here.
After having lunch on Yinghai Road, I decided to give up visiting Cuihu Park and go directly to Kunming Railway Station because I couldn't wait for the bus to Cuihu Park. What I see now is the urban scenery from Fude Road to Kunming Railway Station. The time is more than 1 o'clock in the afternoon.
Kunming railway stationWhen I saw the three words Kunming Station getting closer and clearer to me, I had a very complex feeling in my heart, which made me think a lot of things while sitting in the car. Perhaps this trip is destined to be an incomplete journey. There must be abandonment and separation so that I can go further and see more. In the end, this obsession and longing forced me to calm down and think about the future.
In order to chase the sky, I could only continue on the road without stopping...
The road in front of Kunming Railway Station and the city street scenery. This place will eventually become part of my memory of this city. We didn't stay here for long. Soon, he swiped his ID card and entered the gate.
Kunming railway stationA view of the bronze statue in the small square inside Kunming Railway Station.
Kunming railway stationThe Kunming trip ended here. Despite the rush, the memories it gave me are still beautiful. I believe that one day I will set foot in this land again.
Dali TripOn high-speed rail, there is always time that is boring. Because my friend and I sat in separate seats, we could no longer chat easily and freely with him, so we had to occasionally look at the scenery outside the carriage to pass the time. My Dali journey also started on this train.
DaliThe scenery along the high-speed rail line in Yunnan is really beautiful! On the train heading for Dali. I really want to take pictures of every beautiful scenery I see. Unfortunately, many photos were unable to focus and capture clearly due to high-speed motion problems. Once they were played on the computer, they had to be deleted. What I see now are relatively clear and a few photos. It's a supplement to some passages on the journey!
DaliThe scenery outside the window is really charming, and I like the weather like this. I once said that as long as there is sunshine, I will think of or have already set off to travel. Unexpectedly, this sentence would really come true, and I took another hasty trip in such weather.
DaliThe sky and clouds seen on the train are beautiful.
DaliThe scenery on a small hill seen on the train.
DaliThe green bristlehead swaying in the wind is a large area, and the scenery is beautiful under the influence of the light.
Dali DaliNow we see some pastoral scenery. After living in the city for a long time, you will feel very comfortable to see such scenery by chance.
DaliThe sky here is also very clear and blue, which makes me sleepy and keeps staring at the scenery outside the carriage.
DaliThe most beautiful scenery is on the road, but you can't stop. On this journey, I had already imagined how beautiful the scenery in Dali would be, and it was also a place worth coming for me.
Dali Railway StationAt six o'clock in the evening, I finally arrived at Dali Railway Station on time. The sky here is still bright. The bus line we want to take is Line 8. There are many buses here, every ten minutes. We got on a Line 8 bus at the bus stop, waited there for a while, and then started to set off in the direction of the ancient city of Dali. What we can tell you now is that you don't have to worry about transportation problems to the ancient city of Dali. In addition to Line 8 heading to the ancient city of Dali, there are also some special tourist buses at the bus station of Dali Railway Station that go to the south gate of the ancient city of Dali. The fare is 5 yuan per person, so if you book accommodation near the south gate of the ancient city of Dali, there is nothing wrong with taking the special tourist bus. Because we lived a little far away from the south gate of the ancient city, we gave up taking the tourist bus and took the ordinary bus with a fare of 3 yuan to the ancient city of Dali. The bus terminal of Dali Ancient City on Line 8 is on the other side of Yeyu Road, which is also very close to where we stay. It takes about five minutes to walk there.
Dali Tour: Night View of the Ancient CityWe ate several meals in Dali on Yeyu Road. Regarding the situation of eating in the ancient city of Dali, you can refer to the section on eating details, and we will not repeat it here. After dinner, we went back to the inn to stay. Then, seeing that it was still early, we came out to visit the night view of the ancient city. Because the camera didn't take very good night views, I didn't take any photos along the way. Until I came to this fruity-buying shop, my friends had to take photos after being tricked.
Dali ancient cityEveryone understands the routines, so there is no need to explain them in detail. Just like this store, because it couldn't clearly see the vague fine words on the five-yuan fruit, it was tricked. Who is it to blame? We can only blame us for being careless, not carefully looking, not asking about the situation clearly, and being greedy for small gains, so we were tricked and paid 36 yuan to buy a bunch of unedible fruits. Where are you? You will not remember some things without experiencing a lesson. Therefore, my little friend is still deeply impressed by this store. He tells me all the time and reminds me not to believe in anything and things anymore. It caused me and him to almost have a shadow. Really, when traveling, you must not be greedy for small gains.
Dali ancient cityThe second photo taken when I visited Renmin Road at night. This shop sells some clothing. It felt like there was nothing suitable for us, so we just passed by and didn't enter to have a look.
Dali ancient cityA shop selling books and stationery on Renmin Road. I feel that some shops here are too difficult to do business and there are not many customers.
Dali ancient cityA shop specializing in specialties on Renmin Road. It is a small underground supermarket with a lot of goods. Friends who don't know where to buy flower cakes can consider this room. There will be more styles to choose from.
Dali ancient cityAt the intersection of the middle section of Renmin Road Pedestrian Street, opposite is a McDonald's. The direction on the left is towards the south gate of the ancient city.
Dali ancient cityAt the intersection of the middle section of Renmin Road Pedestrian Street, there is also a shop for buying flower cakes. Friends who buy flower cakes can also take this room. To be honest, we also visited four or five such shops in the ancient city of Dali. Overall, the price of each shop selling flower cakes is similar, but the difference lies in the packaging and style. So it doesn't matter if you visit a few more rooms for comparison and then decide where to buy it. On the left side of this shop, you will go straight down to Erhaimen. We also wandered here that night and headed in the direction of Erhaimen.
Dali ancient cityI saw a shop selling small jewelry from Southeast Asia on Renmin Road on the way to Erhaimen.
Dali ancient cityMy friends are selecting small jewelry in this shop.
Dali ancient cityFinally, we continued to follow Renmin Road in the lower direction, and we also reached Erhaimen. It is also very lively at night. Some tourists are taking photos at the city gate at night.
Dali ancient cityIn fact, the entire section of Renmin Road is about three kilometers long and is also the most prosperous night market pedestrian street in the ancient city of Dali. In the ancient city, tourists who go shopping at night mostly gather in the night market pedestrian streets along Renmin Road and Fuxing Road.
Dali ancient cityWe are now located outside the gate of Erhaimen on Renmin Road. The time is past ten o'clock in the evening. You can see that many tourists are still shopping and many shops are still doing business.
Dali ancient cityI stayed here for a while, took some photos, and then left here and returned to the inside of the city gate.
Dali ancient cityWhat we see now is a restaurant where we eat on Renmin Road. The night view of the ancient city on our first night ended here. This was also our first night trip in the ancient city of Dali.
Dali's Journey: The Ancient City During the DayWhen I woke up the next morning, the sun was already high. The only thing left now is to eat breakfast in peace of mind and wait for the driver to pick us up and set out to tour the Erhai Lake.
Dali ancient cityBefore leaving, let's enjoy the morning scenery of some neighborhoods in the ancient city of Dali!
Dali ancient cityWe had breakfast right at this intersection. This intersection is located at the junction of Yeyu Road and Yu 'er Road. We live nearby. The neighborhood here is much quieter than Renmin Road, with fewer tourists.
Dali ancient cityThis is the street where we live and it is very quiet.
Dali ancient cityYou can also see the scenery of Cangshan Mountain behind you in the streets and alleys here.
Dali ancient cityThe most primitive house in the ancient city. I believe there are not many houses built of stone like this.
Dali ancient cityMorning scenery of some cross streets and narrow alleys in the ancient city. These streets and alleys are actually relatively quiet at night.

Dali ancient cityAn inn called Xiaoqiaoju. There are some inns here that have no names on the Internet and cannot be searched. So do a search on the Internet before checking in. Inns that have been registered, registered and checked in on travel platforms can generally be searched.

The above is the morning and day view of the ancient city where we live. The next thing is a complete list of check-in attractions in the ancient city. I believe some attractions have been visited at night, and everyone goes to Cangshan or Erhai Lake outside the ancient city during the day. Therefore, I believe that some people have not paid attention to or been to some attractions. Let's sort out some of the small attractions in the ancient city of Dali in a cursory manner. I hope everyone will not forget them when visiting this place and visit them as well.
We live on this side of Yeyu Road, so let's start from Yeyu Road and introduce some attractions in the ancient city of Dali. The street you enter below is called Yuer Road, which is a street with many willow trees planted. So I can see some scenery below, including street signs and street scenes, which are all on this side of Yu 'er Road. Let's go in the direction of Cangshan Mountain and browse Yuer Road and introduce the attractions here.
This road sign is actually on the left hand side of the road. Go up (in the direction of Cangshan) and on the right hand side is Yuer Garden. See the following figure. The road sign above indicates two pedestrian streets and an ancient city gate. Renmin Road and Foreign Street are both well-known commercial pedestrian streets in the ancient city of Dali and with relatively large flow of people. During the day, the scenery may be only average, like other streets. This is because tourists during the day are basically in the scenic spots around Cangshan and Erhai Lake outside the ancient city. To experience the excitement and excitement of these two pedestrian streets in the ancient city, it is best to go out and have a stroll again at night. As the name suggests, Cangshan Gate is an ancient gate facing Cangshan Mountain. It is also an ancient gate attraction that tourists like to check in.
Dali ancient cityYou can see this place after passing that sign and walking up a little bit. The place we see now is called Yuer Garden, which is a free attraction. The map coordinates are No. 131, Yuer Road, the ancient city of Dali. Yu 'er Garden is a garden-style park that is open for free. It has green grass, lush vegetation, small bridges and flowing water, and a beautiful environment. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was a Camellia Cultivation Garden, and there are still many ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Friends who come to this place may wish to enter it and visit it in about ten minutes.
Dali ancient cityAfter visiting Yu 'er Garden, continue to walk in the direction of Cangshan Mountain. Now what you see is the streetscape of Yu' er Road. The map shows that there is an attraction nearby called Jiang Gong Temple. It is a cultural attraction in the ancient city. It is said to be an ancestral temple established to commemorate a man named Jiang Gong and has a history of more than a hundred years. It is said that this Duke Jiang was Jiang Zonghan, a general of the Yi nationality in the Qing Dynasty. He became famous in the World War after following General Feng Zicai to fight against the French invaders. After his death, Emperor Guangxu issued an order to set up an ancestral temple for him to show his honor.
Dali ancient cityWe did not enter the Jiang Gong Temple to visit, so we continued to walk in the direction of Cangshan. Now we will reach an intersection, which is actually the intersection of Fuxing Road and Yu 'er Road. You can now see a road sign on the roadside. This road sign indicates the directions of three city gate attractions and the direction of one museum attraction. Friends who come here might as well go to the Film Museum. The coordinate location on the map of the Film Museum is No. 459 Fuxing Road.
Dali ancient cityThe road we see now is called Fuxing Road. Fuxing Road is also an important street in the ancient city of Dali, and there are many tourists at night. The direction we see now leads all the way to the south gate of the ancient city of Dali. There are also several small attractions on Fuxing Road in this direction that are worth visiting and playing. For example, the Confucian Temple, Wuhua Tower, the President's Military and Military Forces Dayuan Marshal's Mansion, Dali City, etc.
Dali ancient cityHead towards the south gate of Dali Ancient City and pass the Foreigner Street Archway.
Dali ancient cityDali Foreign Street was originally named "Guguo Road", which meant that it was named after the people of Yunnan opposed Yuan Shikai's declaration of emperor in the early Republic of China and raised troops to protect the country. So some people will still call this place Guguo Road. Foreign Street runs east-west, is 1000 meters long and 7 meters wide, and is paved with bluestone slabs. Now it has become a distribution center for foreign tourists in Dali and a famous "Dali Foreign Street" at home and abroad.
Dali ancient cityThe direction we see now is the south gate of the ancient city of Dali. We are also moving in this direction. There are not many tourists who can see the streets in the morning now. If it were at night, it would be quite lively here, and it would be a different scene from what you see now.
Dali ancient cityContinue towards the south gate of Dali and you will come to this place, a place called Confucian Temple. Confucian Temple is a temple building that commemorates and sacrifices to Confucius, our country's great thinker and educator. In the changes of dynasties, it was also called Confucian Temple, Confucian Temple, Zhisheng Temple, Xianshi Temple, Xiansheng Temple, and Wenxuan Temple. The name is more common. Therefore, there are many buildings across the country that can be called Confucian temples. The Confucian Temple here is more of an ancient temple with dual status as a prefecture and county. It is a landmark building in the ancient city of Dali and inherits a historical witness of Dali's status as a national historical and cultural city and a "famous literature state".
Dali ancient cityAfter passing the Confucian Temple, continue to move towards the south gate. The streets here in the morning are cold and clear, but the pedestrians on the road still feel sparse.
Dali ancient cityThis attraction is where the Confucian Temple comes from: Wuhua Building. In ancient times, Wuhua Tower was a place where official gatherings and banquets for distinguished guests. It is five-story high and can accommodate tens of thousands of people to stand. The Wuhua Building in history has been burned down several times and rebuilt several times. The current Wuhua Building was rebuilt in 1998. It is a four-story building with a height of more than 10 meters. The lower floor is a pedestal and the upper three floors are buildings. Wuhua Tower is one of the landmark buildings in the ancient city of Dali. It is so exquisite and magnificent that people admire. Therefore, Wuhua Tower is also a must-see attraction for many tourists in the ancient city of Dali.
Dali ancient cityFortunately, they came early. At night, it would be difficult to avoid the crowd and check in here. However, some tourists have already checked in here in the morning. I also helped an old couple take a check-in photo here.
Dali ancient cityFollow Fuxing Road straight towards the south gate and you will pass the scenic spot called the President's Military Horse and Military Marshal's Mansion. This road sign is on a square called the Monument to the People's Heroes. This road sign also tells us that the road we are walking on is Fuxing Road and the location of the ancient city where it is located, as well as the distribution of some attractions in the ancient city.
Dali ancient cityThe place we see now is called the Mansion of the President's Military Forces and the Grand Marshal. Legend has it that in the sixth year of Xianfeng of the Qing Dynasty (1856), the Anti-Qing Uprising Army of the people of all ethnic groups in western Yunnan, led by Du Wenxiu, with the Hui nationality as the main body, captured Dali and established political power on September 17. On September 25, an altar was built in Nanxiaochang. The leaders of the Uprising Army elected Du Wenxiu as the Presidential Marshal. The prefect's mansion was changed to the Marshal's Mansion, with two courtyards, a front hall and a back hall, a Meridian Gate, a Tianzi Terrace, and a side hall and a north and south flower hall. There are houses such as a meeting hall, a military aircraft office (Baihu Hall), a living room, a study room, a guard room, and a storage room, making it a large-scale architectural complex. Du Wenxiu also wrote a couplet and hung it in the main hall: "A born hero turned the world of the Central Plains; a born hero broke the world of Hu 'er." There are high walls and battlements built around the Shuaifu, all of which are made of bricks and stones. The architectural format imitates the imperial city, so it is commonly known as the "Forbidden City".
This attraction is also free and is a good place to learn about a certain period of Dali's history.
The President's army and military forces came from a place called Dali Chenghuang City. This is not Dali City God Temple. The real City God Temple is located at the south gate of Dali Ancient City at the flower village. This Chenghuang City is actually a commercial street integrating shopping and catering. It is a pedestrian street like Renmin Road and Foreign Street. It's just a place specially used to receive tourist groups to eat and shop here.
Dali ancient cityThis place would be very beautiful if the overhead lights were lit up at night. In the morning, you can also see some tourists taking photos and checking in on the lights here.
Dali ancient cityAfter passing the Dali City God City, we finally arrived at the South Gate Scenic Spot of the Ancient City of Dali. We were both happy and excited. While there are not many tourists, hurry up and take a few photos first.
Dali ancient cityHere, I met some tourists who needed help taking photos and signing in. Well, helping others is the foundation of happiness, and I am very happy to do so. I guess everyone thinks I'm holding the camera, so...
Dali ancient cityAs soon as the photos were taken, the tourist group arrived. I felt that there were so many people here all of a sudden and it was not easy to stay, so I visited the place and left.
Dali ancient cityReturning back the same way, now back to Renmin Road, I see this road sign. It turns out that the east and west sections of Renmin Road will add up to a length of about three kilometers. No wonder we never felt the end when we were playing at night. At night, we only visited the eastern section, a section of road near Erhaimen. The western section near Cangshan is too long, so I only visited the beginning of the tour. Friends who visit Renmin Road, don't forget that Renmin Road has two sections of east and west. If you have enough time, visit both sections of east and west. You may have surprises.
Dali ancient cityRenmin Road was cold and clear in the morning, many shops were not open for business, and there were not many tourists on the street.
Dali ancient citySome foreign tourists are dragging their suitcases to find a place to stay. I guess it's on the other side of Foreign Street, because Foreign Street is a place where foreigners are concentrated.
Dali ancient cityI wanted to buy some handwritten mail today, but I didn't expect that many shops along the road were not open for business. I had to give up and continue to move in the direction of Erhaimen.
Dali ancient cityFacing Renmin Street in the direction of Cangshan Mountain.
Dali ancient cityI feel that the weather is not very good today and there are signs of rain. Fortunately, most of our trip is over. The only thing left now is to buy letters and visit some streets and alleys in the ancient city of Dali.
Dali ancient cityIn front is Erhaimen, another popular check-in attraction. However, there weren't many people in the morning, so you can rest assured to take photos here.
Dali ancient cityCompared with the south gate, the number of tourists here will be about half less. Whether at night or during the day, the South Gate is actually one of the most lively places in the ancient city where most tourists sign in. Because Erhaimen is facing the Erhai Lake, some tourists still visit here. In fact, you still can't see the Erhai Lake here, just close to the Erhai Lake.
Dali ancient cityThese shops near the city gate will open late at night, so even if you come and visit this place at ten o'clock in the evening, you can still feel the lively atmosphere. Visiting this place in the morning is basically the time for tourists to take photos and sign in to the ancient city gate.

Dali ancient cityBecause my friend wanted to buy a piece of clothes that he had been longing for a long time yesterday to give to the elders at home, I walked the People's Road again in the direction of Cangshan. At this point, our daytime trip in the ancient city of Dali is over. Next, it is time to introduce the itinerary around the Erhai Lake.
One-day tour of Erhai LakeThis is the second day of my trip to Dali: a tour around the Erhai Lake. Because the time is relatively tight, there is only one day. If you ride, it is impossible to complete a tour around the Erhai Lake; if you take a special tourist bus to some ancient towns, it will be difficult to arrange after calculating the time; if you rent a car (including an electric car), I am afraid that there will be too many routines, so I finally chose to sign up for a one-day tour group. The tourist groups are not those bus groups, but those niche groups, such as jeeps with 3-4 people and commercial car groups with 5-6 people. In the end, we chose a commercial car group of 5-6 people.
Erhai LakeThe order of our departure was to pick up people from Dali Ancient City and Dali Railway Station, then we started around Haidong Road, passed through Xiaoputuo-Shuanglang Ancient Town-Huayu Ranch-Xizhou Ancient Town, and then returned to Dali Ancient City on Haixi Road to end the day's journey.
Erhai LakeThe sea view we see now is the scenery of Erhai Lake. The scenery taken on the way to Xiaoputuo. The location is on this side of Huanhaidong Road. In fact, you can see the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake all the way from Dali City and walk along Haidong Road. So our trip to the Erhai Lake has actually started in the downtown area of Dali. What I see now is the scenery of Erhai Lake taken after a distance away from the city.
Erhai LakeIt would be more spectacular to feel immersed in it. Taking photos also cannot show the sense of breadth and beauty well.
Erhai LakeThe driver is also a half-tour guide. He also told us a lot about visiting Erhai Lake. Now I see that the mountain range opposite me is actually from Cangshan. The entire Erhai Sea is surrounded by Cangshan Mountain. So if you go to Cangshan to play, it will take a day.
Erhai LakeThese are some other group members in our commercial vehicle, including the driver, a total of six people. They are also standing on the roadside watching and taking photos.
Erhai LakeErhai Lake video.
Erhai LakeWe stayed on this section of the road for about ten minutes, and then we got on the bus again and continued moving forward.
Erhai LakeWhat we see now is the scenery on the other side of the road, with a tower on it. The driver told us that it was also a scenic spot.
Erhai LakeThe scenery here is so beautiful that some tourists are reluctant to leave for a long time.
Erhai LakeThe car is driving on the road. This is the scenery of Erhaidong Road taken on the back seat of a car.
Erhai LakeA view of a large stone on the road photographed on the car while advancing. There are actually many large rocks on this section of the road, which is a place more suitable for people to take photos with large rocks and check in.
Erhai LakeErhaidong Road is actually a highway around the sea near the sea, so it is also called Huanhaidong Road. As you move forward, the scenery along the way is beautiful. Therefore, if you choose to see the sea view, it is actually enough to choose to ride on Erhaidong Road, and you don't have to go to some ancient towns and Erhaixi Line to ride. The western line is actually closer to Cangshan, with a section of road along the way.
Erhai LakeClose-up of the scenery of Erhai Lake (1).

Erhai LakeClose-up of the Erhai Lake scenery (2).
Erhai LakeNo wonder some people say that Dali Erhai Lake is one of the places that people must visit in their lives. After seeing this scenery, I also agreed with this statement. Its beauty sometimes cannot be expressed even with a camera lens, so you can only feel it silently with your heart.
Erhai LakeI really want to stay here for a day, even if I can stay here quietly for a while. I silently mourned in my heart. The driver still carried us all the way, without any sign of stopping.
XiaoputuoI finally arrived at the place of Xiaoputuo. Now you can see that there is a lonely reef floating on the sea with temples and pavilions on it. This small island is Little Putuo.
XiaoputuoLooking across the scenery from the shore, in such weather, the scenery of Erhai Lake is extremely beautiful! The picture you see here is relatively calm and does not have the feeling of rough waves.
XiaoputuoA tourist riding around the Erhai Lake is taking photos on the landmark stone here and checking in.
XiaoputuoXiaoputuo is also a well-known and important attraction in the Erhai Scenic Area. Many cyclists and many bus tour groups visit this place and check in. Therefore, if you travel around the Erhai Lake, you will definitely visit this place.
It is understood that Xiao Putuo was originally called Guanyin Pavilion and was built in the Ming Dynasty. Later, because its location resembled Putuo Mountain, a famous Buddhist mountain, and because it resembled Putuo, where Guanyin lived in the myth, so it was renamed the present "Xiao Putuo". In fact, when you climb the island, you can find this two-story building. The first floor is dedicated to the Tathagata, and the second floor is dedicated to the statue of Guanyin. The statue of Guanyin is also the main statue of Xiao Putuo. Therefore, Xiao Putuo also has a legend about Guanyin.
Legend has it that when Guanyin opened the Dali Dam, she left a seal of Zhenhai on the sea here, which is called a small island to suppress the wind and waves and protect the fishermen. Therefore, the fishermen built Guanyin Pavilion on the small island to commemorate Guanyin, and named a fishing village in the east of the island Haiyin Village, called the small island Xiaoputuo Mountain, and called Guanyin Pavilion Xiaoputuo, which means the place where Guanyin practices. These are the origin of Xiao Putuo.
Now I can see that the small boat in the lower right corner is the means of transportation to land on the island. This ferry does not need to paddle. It takes two or three minutes to pull a rope connecting the two sides of the bank.
XiaoputuoLooking at it from this angle, it feels that Xiao Putuo is less than a hundred meters away from the shore. However, if the scenery of "Lan Misha Putuo" appears, this is the most suitable place to view. It is said that when the fog curled on the sea surface, Little Putuo will appear and disappear from time to time, like a moon palace. If you climb onto Little Putuo, you will see the fog surging around you, like a white gauze. That scenery is called "Lan Ai Putuo" and it is one of the eight scenic spots of Erhai Lake. The weather is so good today, I guess that one of the eight scenic spots in Erhai Lake,"Lan Ai Putuo", will not be visible. It is also good to experience the sunny scenery of Xiaoputuo.
XiaoputuoDuring the browsing period, a cleaning boat slowly sailed across the sea. Add a view to the calm sea.
XiaoputuoA small Putuo Island isolated in the sea. According to data records, Xiaoputuo Island is a limestone island with an area of about 100 square meters and 12 meters above the water surface. It is only 130 meters away from the nearby Haiyin Village. From this angle now, why can't I feel the altitude of 12 meters above sea level? It seems that the information on the Internet is not very accurate, so it is better to see it is true.
XiaoputuoFriends who don't want to visit the island can follow this seaside plank road back to the shore and visit nearby villages and markets instead.
XiaoputuoThere is a small arch bridge here, which is very popular with tourists because the scenery will be better from it.
XiaoputuoSome tourists linger on the small arch bridge because the scenery they see here is also very beautiful.
XiaoputuoSmall Putuo and the big cruise ship in the distance. In fact, Xiaoputuo is also a must-visit place for some cruise routes.
XiaoputuoA girl from Kunming, born in the 1990s. In the end, we had more interactions here, and she became a special sight of my trip.
XiaoputuoSlowly approaching the big cruise ship of Xiaoputuo.
Relevant information shows that at present, Erhai sightseeing cruise ships are divided into two routes: long-term and short-term.
1. [Long Line] Departs from Dali Port at 09:00 in the morning, reaches Longkan Wharf at 10:00, passes through Shuanglang Nanzhao Style Island, and finally arrives at Taoyuan Wharf. The one-way fare is 142 yuan/person;
2. [Short-term] Depart from Longkan Wharf (Caicun Wharf) in the ancient city of Dali, there are flights at 10:30 a.m. and 14:00 p.m. to Jinsuo Island or Haidong Luoquan Peninsula. The round-trip fare is 140 yuan/person.
The long-term route is also called the Erhai Lake Grand Boat Tour. It is recommended for tourists living in Xiaguan Urban area and tourists from Dali Ancient City to choose it.
The short-term is also called the Longniche Erhai Ecological Tour. Tourists who have less travel time are recommended to choose the short-term.
Boating and ticketing addresses: Longkan Wharf (Caicun Wharf), Dali Port Wharf, Xiaguan (Xincheng), Dali Port Wharf, Taoyuan Wharf.
Girls who love to take pictures really give them different postures.
XiaoputuoI wanted her to take a photo of a side, but she turned her entire face away. Fortunately, this photo made her whole person bright white, so there was no need to beautify her face.
XiaoputuoThe cruise ship is close to Xiaoputuo Island, and tourists are visiting the island. I really wonder how many people are on this cruise ship we see now? This island is expected to fall soon, and it can only accommodate more than a hundred people to board the island. Tourists who later arrive on the island are probably not even able to stand.
After reviewing the relevant information on the cruise ship, I found that the cruise ship we see now is a long-term one. Xiaoputuo Island is just a scenic spot passing through. The final destination is Huidiquan Taoyuan Pier, where tourists can then go ashore and disperse freely to end the journey.
I ran into some tourists traveling alone here, and this beautiful woman who loves to take selfies is one of them.
XiaoputuoIt is recommended that girls travel alone and be sure to pay attention to safety. Not every place will be as safe as this one.
XiaoputuoWith the departure of the big cruise ship, the lively atmosphere on the island disappeared, and we finally arrived on the island. Individuals actually need to buy a 5 yuan ticket to visit the island. If they sign up for a group tour of the Erhai Lake or a cruise ship to visit the island, these small attractions basically include these tickets and fees.
XiaoputuoIt can also be seen on the island now. Since there are not many tourists on the island, and there are only about a dozen individual tourists on the island plus us. These hawkers see that there are not a large number of tourists and no business, so they are also preparing to pack up their stalls and evacuate here.
XiaoputuoWhile there are no tourists walking around here, I quickly snap a check-in photo for the girl.
XiaoputuoYou can visit the temple and pavilion here, but you need to be quiet and can't make a fuss. The uncle above is the staff member who oversees the temple and pavilion.
XiaoputuoThere are many large rocks near the south of the island. You can sit on them and take photos, but you must pay attention to your safety. This is a photo of the girl sitting on a rock.
XiaoputuoPhoto of a girl sitting on a rock under a tree. I remember that there were also tourists taking photos here at that time. An uncle tourist also forgot to take his hat away.
XiaoputuoMy friend said that the back is beautiful, so let's take a photo of the back!
XiaoputuoThe other two girls in our small group later learned that they were from the north and participated in a medical equipment exhibition in Dali. Before going back, seeing that there was still time, they stopped by to join a business group for a one-day trip to Erhai Lake. This is a group photo of them in the west of Xiaoputuo Island.
XiaoputuoAfter turning clockwise on the island, he finally returned to the small open space where he landed on the island. Now you can see that there are no more hawkers here. While tourists are visiting other places and not moving in front of them to affect their vision, we quickly give a panoramic photo of the only building on this island.
XiaoputuoBeautiful sea view from the north side of the island. At this point, the visit to Xiaoputuo Scenic Spot is over.
One-day trip to Erhai Lake Shuanglang Ancient TownContinuing on driving, the next attraction we are about to reach is an ancient town: Shuanglang.
shuanglang ancient townOn the way to Shuanglang Ancient Town, we should first popularize the knowledge of the ancient town so that everyone can have a general understanding of the ancient town. Shuanglang Town is located at the northeastern end of Dali City, Yunnan Province and on the north bank of Erhai East. It is a provincial-level historical and cultural town in Yunnan Province and the "No. 1 Town in Canger Scenery." It covers an area of 218 square kilometers, ranking second in Dali City, with a permanent population of about 20,000. Shuanglang Town is located at 100 °11 east longitude and 25 °53 north latitude. The town is surrounded by mountains on three sides and the sea on one side. Jumping on the 19th Peak of Cangshan Mountain in the west, facing the vast blue waves of the Erhai Lake, on the east, on the "Buddhist resort" Jizu Mountain, and on the south, on the "Penglai Fairy Island" Xiaoputuo. What you can see above is the area map of Shuanglang Ancient Town and the location map of some check-in attractions.
Erhai LakeThe beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake photographed by car when going to Shuanglang Ancient Town.
Erhai LakeBeautiful scenery of Erhai Lake. Because of the scenery taken on a moving car, the scenery near the roadside is relatively blurred. If you want to see it, you can only look at the scenery in the distance. Some light rays that photographers call Jesus Light appear on the sea. In fact, the scenery is quite beautiful and charming.

shuanglang ancient townFinally arrived at the top of Shuanglang Ancient Town. We took photos at this location on the mountain, but actually it was from the road next to it. There are also many cyclists and self-driving tourists who stop here to take photos. The scenery of Shuanglang Ancient Town overlooking is spectacular and beautiful.
shuanglang ancient townOverlooking video of Shuanglang Ancient Town.
shuanglang ancient townNow I see the mountain range opposite me is still Cangshan.
shuanglang ancient townSome other members of our small commercial van team are chatting while watching the scenery.
shuanglang ancient townThe highway here still belongs to the Erhai Lake and Haidong Line. Therefore, it is still relatively close to the Erhai Lake highway, and you can still see the beautiful scenery of the Erhai Lake and the scenery in the distance.
shuanglang ancient townThe part we see now belongs to the Shuanglang Ancient Fishing Village part of the ancient town. The small island that protrudes out of the sea on the left is called Yuji Island. Yang Liping's palace is on this island.
shuanglang ancient townShuanglang Ancient Town has the scenery overlooking the mountain road and the mountains in the distance.

shuanglang ancient townPanoramic view of Yuji Island. Although it is an island, from this perspective, it still feels connected to the shore. It is understood that you don't actually need to take a boat to cross Yuji Island. You can just walk over a bridge, and the ticket costs ten yuan.
shuanglang ancient townNow you can see that the small island surrounded by water on all sides in the middle is the famous Nanzhao Style Island. Friends who take a long-term cruise ship to sightseeing the Erhai Lake will also arrive at this place to visit the island.
shuanglang ancient townIt is reported that Nanzhao Style Island is listed as one of the 25 tourist attractions in Yunnan Province and was the designated reception unit for the 1999 Kunming World Horticultural Exposition, so the scenery on the island is also very beautiful. Unfortunately, now we can only take a look from here. Due to the constraints of our itinerary, we cannot go up to the island to have a panoramic view of the scenery.
shuanglang ancient townWhen you look up on the road and look across the road, you can see the magnificent and burly Cangshan Mountains opposite you. The scenery is very spectacular.

shuanglang ancient townOverlooking Shuanglang Ancient Town and its nearby Nanzhao Style Island and Yuji Island on the mountain road, continue to drive to Shuanglang Ancient Town.
shuanglang ancient townOn the road, I met a couple of tourists riding on a bicycle and taking photos on the roadside.
shuanglang ancient townLooking back on the back seat of a car, I photographed a road scene. This section of the road is also a place where many tourists will stop.
shuanglang ancient townFinally we arrived at an entrance to the north of Shuanglang Ancient Town. Taking advantage of the fact that there are no tourists in the flower garden here, I quickly take a photo.
shuanglang ancient townPhotos of the flower beds next to the entrance of the ancient town from different angles.
shuanglang ancient townArriving at the entrance of the archway, I immediately felt that there were many tourists. I took the time to take a photo first. My friends hurried into the ancient town without saying a word.

shuanglang ancient townFrom here on, the driver did not follow us in and let us travel freely here for about an hour. Well, the five of us started our conversation and laughter again.
shuanglang ancient townIf you feel that walking is hard or don't want to walk or are in a hurry, you can take this sightseeing bus to browse the ancient town scenery.
shuanglang ancient townAt this time, it feels that there are not many people in the ancient town, and there are few tourists on the streets here.

shuanglang ancient townThe direction we see now is the direction of the entrance of the archway we entered. There are not many tourists behind me.
shuanglang ancient townIn Dali in October, the sun is scorching hot. Tourists also choose to walk on both sides of the street.

shuanglang ancient townPassing through a place called Li's Courtyard. This place seemed to be a tourist attraction, but we didn't enter it and visited it, but kept walking down the biggest street.
shuanglang ancient town shuanglang ancient town shuanglang ancient town shuanglang ancient town shuanglang ancient town shuanglang ancient town shuanglang ancient townWalking along the way, the street scenery was still relatively quiet and there were not many tourists.
shuanglang ancient townIn the end, we stopped at this place and didn't continue walking inside because we were worried that there was not enough time. Shuanglang Ancient Town only took a casual stroll on the street and didn't visit Yang Liping's palace. It was indeed a pity. Therefore, if you come to visit this place, you must reserve more time, because the streets are indeed long and the entire walk takes 40 minutes or more. Therefore, friends who want to visit Yang Liping's palace suggest starting to take a sightseeing bus from the archway. You can choose to walk back, which will not only save time, but also experience the unique scenery of Shuanglang Ancient Town.
shuanglang ancient townThis is the street scenery taken in the direction of the return journey.
shuanglang ancient townTo sum up: In the eyes of others, Shuanglang Ancient Town is a picturesque place with infinite sea views, but now the Shuanglang Ancient Town we see is just a quiet street and fishing village. This is because we didn't go to the part near the sea. Therefore, please come to this place to visit, and be sure to travel freely. Remember! Don't go with a group tour. Even this so-called pure play-style chartered one-day tour will have its limitations, such as time arrangements, scenic spots arrangements, and personnel arrangements. There are always some places you can't stay for too long or you can't visit for some reasons. Therefore, this kind of semi-self-service travel is not really free travel. It just helps us go to more places, rather than getting to a deeper understanding of a place. We have only visited Shuanglang Ancient Town, but we still haven't really experienced it and understood it.
shuanglang ancient townFollowing others and rushing out with a trace of nostalgia and regret, Shuanglang Ancient Town is still an unfinished dream in my heart.
shuanglang ancient townThe scenery at the exit of the archway in Shuanglang Ancient Town.
shuanglang ancient townA tree, a piece of flowers and soil, and some tourists bathing in the sun will all become scenery and memories. Everyone has their own perspective and vision, and everyone will have the scenery they have just seen.
One-day tour of Erhai Lake at Huayu RanchHuayu Ranch is on this side of the Haixi Line. This attraction will be some distance away from the sea, but you can clearly see the scenery of Cangshan Mountain. Huayu Ranch is a fee-paying attraction, and it costs 40 yuan to purchase tickets on site. If you sign up for a group or the like, the entrance fee is included. However, some photo props inside still cost an additional fee, ranging from 5 to 10 yuan. For example, Sky Land charges 5 yuan and can take five photos. Other charging items are similar.
Erhai LakeOn the way to Huayu Ranch, you can still enjoy the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake.
Erhai LakeThis section of the road is still winding along the beach.

Erhai LakeA team of people taking wedding photos by the Erhai Lake. In fact, this is a highway, and cars come and go, which is a bit dangerous.
Erhai LakeFinally, I saw the seaside. After crossing this section of the road, I basically had no chance to get to the seaside. That is, I entered the Haixi Road, and there would be fields on both sides. But the view is also good.
Erhai LakeNow you can see the road going to Cangshan. In fact, it will not be close to Cangshan Mountain, but far away from the coast of Erhai Lake and driving among the fields. We'll pass through some villages.
Erhai LakeI ran into a wetland on the way. The scenery was actually nice. Unfortunately, the itinerary didn't include it, so I couldn't get off the bus to browse and take photos. You can only watch it from afar in the car.
Erhai LakeFriends who ride will probably pass by this place. They can stop and take photos. Friends who sign up for group tours can only take a look on the car.
Erhai LakeThis section of the road is far away from the coast, and there is no wetland scenery. All you can see on both sides are the scenery of fields.
Erhai LakeThe mountains in the distance we see now are no longer the mountains of Cangshan, but the mountains on the other side of Huanhaidong Road.

Huayu RanchFrom the road here, you can now see the scenery of Huayu Ranch in the distance.
Huayu RanchOn the photo wall on the left hand side of the entrance of Huayu Ranch, there are many tourists checking in. I don't know how to take beautiful check-in photos, but you can refer to the correct posture on the photo wall.
Huayu RanchEntrance to Huayu Ranch. There are staff checking tickets here, so you have to buy tickets to enter. It is a fee-paying attraction.
Huayu RanchA 40-yuan ticket for Huayu Ranch purchased on site. We have signed up for a one-day trip by commercial bus, so this ticket is already included. We don't have to pay extra for it. We just need to take the ticket from the driver and check it for the ticket inspector at the door. You can enter and have a tour.
Huayu RanchAfter entering the door, there is a large sea of crabapple flowers on the right. Our play sequence also starts here.

Huayu RanchAfter playing for a while, it was time to take a gesture photo of the girls in our team.
Huayu RanchThis place is actually very suitable for taking some postures and shapes check-in photos. It seems that tourists prefer places like the sea of flowers.
Huayu RanchI looked at it here and then looked for other places with flowers.
Huayu RanchThere is a large sea of sage flowers here, which is very attractive and beautiful.
Huayu RanchThe red heart and white moon in the distance are both photo props. They are free and you can take some semi-dependent group photos.
Huayu RanchThe sea of sage on the ground and the blue sky and white clouds are a beautiful picture.
Huayu RanchThe sea of flowers here is also the most photographed by tourists, so only part of the sea of flowers can be photographed to let everyone feel the beauty here.
Huayu RanchAn Internet celebrity piano next to the sea of flowers. This is free and there is no charge for props. Everyone can take photos with the piano here.
Huayu RanchSome big white geese are foraging next to the small pool. These big white geese were not panicked at all when I took photos of them. They even swaggered up to me and actively cooperated! Wait, is there a charge for this? I heard that there is a charge to take photos with animals. In fact, in Huayu Ranch, there is a charge for taking photos with animals, which means that people have to pay for taking photos with large animals such as red deer and donkeys, and there is no charge for taking photos with small animals such as chickens, ducks and geese. So, there is no problem if you can quietly take photos of these animals without disturbing them.
Huayu RanchA stray goose foraging alone in the water.
Huayu RanchThe goose realized that I was taking pictures of it and swam away hard.
Huayu RanchSitting on the ground and looking up at the sky quietly without anyone disturbing it is also a kind of scenery.
Huayu RanchThis is the sky. In fact, it's just sitting on a stage made of some glass props and taking photos. It's guarded and specially charged. You can take five photos for five yuan per person.
Huayu RanchAnyway, we were here, and the girl who had the most fun in our team took the stage to take photos.
Huayu RanchThere is a large area of red here, and it is also a very beautiful check-in holy place. How can I tell others to come to this place without leaving a shadow? It was still she who walked in without hesitation and gave me a back view that I couldn't pull back even if I wanted to.
Huayu RanchIn fact, there are also props such as Moon Stool, Angel Wings, Internet celebrity Qianqiu, Internet celebrity glass balls, Jeeps and other items in Huayu Ranch. These are all free, and you can boldly take photos with these props. When you come here to play, remember to check in too.
Huayu RanchA passage with flowers falling above your head. This is also a place where some female tourists like to check in.
Huayu RanchWhat a big view of horse whip grass.
Huayu RanchIn fact, tourists are not allowed to walk in this sea of flowers to visit and take photos, so you can see the very pure scenery of the sea of flowers. Friends who want to take photos can only stand outside and take photos of the sea of flowers.
Huayu RanchBack to a place of love, from this perspective, this grassland is quite big.
Huayu RanchThere were too many people taking photos here in the Jeep, and we finally waited for the opportunity. Girls born in the 1990s who love to take pictures are also reluctant to part with them here.
Huayu RanchAnother sea of sage flowers in Huayu Ranch.
Huayu RanchScenery of Huayu Ranch. This was the last photo we took before we left in Huayu Ranch. We could still take a lot of scenery here, but before we knew it, we had enough time to leave, so we had to give up.
Huayu RanchFinally we left Huayu Ranch, which was also the most enjoyable attraction we had. Maybe it's because there is a girl who likes to take photos. I, who only takes pictures of scenery, was inspired by her. This attraction basically revolves around her. She wanted to go there, and we followed her there. It was beautiful and suitable for taking photos, so we went there together to take photos and play. In this place, we also became familiar with each other and had a lot of topics. Later, we left each other's contact information. Or just like this, I have one more friend, one more friendship, and one more memory.
A one-day trip to the Erhai Lake in Xizhou Ancient TownCompared with Shuanglang Ancient Town, Xizhou Ancient Town has fewer tourists and is much quieter. The buildings here are more distinctive, and there will be more buildings that maintain the style of minority ethnic characteristics. In fact, Xizhou Ancient Town is an important town inhabited by the Bai people, so it retains the most and best Bai residential buildings here. When you come to Xizhou Ancient Town to visit, there are special tourist buses arriving at the railway station and the south gate of Dali Ancient City, Licui Garden, so you don't have to worry about transportation problems. Entering the ancient town is free, and you need to charge tickets to visit some small attractions in the ancient town. For example, if you want to enter and visit the Yan Family Courtyard, you have to buy tickets. However, it is good to stroll around the ancient town. If you want to see the sea view, it is not suitable here because it is a bit far from the beach. If you live in the ancient town, you can go to the Haitang Park near the ancient town. It is an Internet celebrity attraction, suitable for taking photos and seeing beautiful sea views.
Xizhou Ancient TownWe chose to enter and play from Zhengyi Gate in Xizhou Ancient Town. The first thing I saw was some horse-drawn carriages on the roadside. There are about seven or eight vehicles parked on the edge of the road near Justice Gate, waiting for tourists to arrive and ride.
Xizhou Ancient TownIn order not to delay the trip, we enter directly through the Justice Gate, and we can also check in at this gate by the way.
Xizhou Ancient TownEnter the panoramic view of Zhengyi Gate in Xizhou Ancient Town.

Xizhou Ancient TownWe went straight along this street and finally arrived at Sifang Street and the Title Shop.
Xizhou Ancient TownWhen you come to these places, you will naturally have to buy and buy!
Xizhou Ancient TownI feel that the clothes here are relatively cheap, because I have visited the ancient city of Dali and Shuanglang Ancient Town and learned it after comparison.
Xizhou Ancient TownThere are some cross streets and narrow alleys in Xizhou Ancient Town.

Xizhou Ancient TownThere were not many tourists following us in the direction we came in.
Xizhou Ancient TownPassing by a shop that bought flower cakes. The little friend finally couldn't help but stop to buy flower cakes and eat them.
Xizhou Ancient TownNow we came to a place with a memorial archway. While there was no one else, the girl in our team who loved to take photos the most quickly walked up and took a check-in photo. In fact, this archway is from a scenic spot called the Title Shop. This is also a central location in the ancient town.

Xizhou Ancient TownSince you are here, you might as well stroll through these streets!

Xizhou Ancient TownThere was a beautiful woman sitting on the steps of a shop nearby playing with her mobile phone.
Xizhou Ancient TownIt is also a kind of fate to meet her. In fact, she is the beautiful woman we saw when we entered the Gate of Justice. Now I have to look at her more.
Xizhou Ancient TownAfter strolling Shiping Street, then returning to Sifang Street, I ended up passing by the archway again.
Xizhou Ancient TownTickets are needed for this Yanjiaduan Museum, so we didn't enter and visit these fee-paying attractions.

Xizhou Ancient TownIt is said that the people here have always advocated etiquette and attached great importance to education since ancient times. Therefore, the local government will write an inscription on the archway to show respect for anyone who has achieved fame.
Xizhou Ancient TownThere is a shop selling Xizhou Baba next to the square.
It is understood that Xizhou Baba, also known as Poosu, is a flavor snack in the ancient town of Xizhou and the most popular snack with the characteristics of the Xizhou Bai ethnic group. It belongs to a scone food and its main raw material is flour. There are two flavors: sweet and salty. When making, use two layers of charcoal fire, the upper layer of charcoal fire is fierce, and the lower layer of charcoal fire is slow fire. Brush lard on the prepared dough blank and then put it into the pan for baking. Brush the grease several times during the baking process, and bake until fragrant. Xizhou Baba is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is very popular among people and has clear layers. It is like the 19 peaks and 18 streams of Cangshan Mountain. It is really beautiful to eat. Therefore, when traveling to Xizhou Ancient Town, you must taste this Xizhou Baba.

Xizhou Ancient TownI feel that Ishito Street is also a long street, and I still can't see the end after walking for a while.
Xizhou Ancient TownThere are no bifurcated streets here, just one street, and there are not many road signs.

Xizhou Ancient TownIt takes about one hour to visit Xizhou Ancient Town. If you want to go to some small attractions and check in, it is estimated that two hours will be enough. Because we were just strolling around casually, not targeted, and we didn't go to those well-known small attractions to visit or check in. So I walked through the streets of the ancient town in about an hour. Then I started to leave this place.
A one-day trip to Erhai LakeIn fact, the countryside scenery in Dali is also good. On the way back, we passed a large area of rice fields, so we stopped to have a look.
Erhai LakeThis is the scenery of the fields near Cangshan Mountain. The rice fields here have not yet been harvested. They are large golden and the scenery is beautiful.
Erhai LakeThis is the scenery of the fields near the Erhai Lake. The rice fields here have been harvested. Although there is not a large golden scene, the scenery is still good.
Erhai LakeAlthough the scenery you saw in the car. But these scenery are still beautiful and leave a very deep impression.
Erhai LakeI believe that you have traveled to this place and will not forget these scenery after seeing it.
Erhai LakeFor us living in the city, the scenery here is really as beautiful as poetry.
Erhai LakeBeautiful scenery of the fields that makes people unforgettable.
Erhai LakeBeautiful scenery of the fields that makes people unforgettable.
Erhai LakeThe way was full of beautiful scenery, and the way was full of thoughts. Everyone began to become tired and silent. After crossing these beautiful fields and scenery, we returned to the ancient city of Dali. We were about to separate ourselves, and the journey was about to come to an end. If you gather, you will disperse, or these are the wishes to travel. We can become someone else's scenery, but we can never take away the scenery we see. It belongs here. I can only miss it and see you again!
some suggestionsIf you travel to Dali or Kunming, try to travel as freely as possible, and you will see different scenery. This time, we just browsed through some of Dali's major tourist attractions. Some other outstanding attractions were not able to visit due to the itinerary. Kunming is also the same. Due to time constraints, it can only play near Dianchi Lake. But no matter what, there is something to gain.
Dali Railway Station[Accommodation] In the small aspect, take accommodation in the ancient city of Dali as an example. If you consider the problem of riding, it is recommended to live near the south and north gates of the ancient city. Both places have direct bus lines to the railway station, so you can easily take a bus back to Dali Railway Station. If you consider the convenience of walking on the pedestrian street and shopping, you should choose to live near Renmin Road. Renmin Road has relatively equal distances to various ancient city gates and various attractions in the city. The only shortcoming is that it is close to the business district and is not very quiet. If you want friends to sleep well, you should stay away from Renmin Road. On the big side, Dali's scenic spots mainly revolve around the two scenic spots of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. Taking the Erhai Scenic Area as an example, there are several places to stay. One is the ancient city of Dali mentioned above, and the second is Xizhou Ancient Town and Shuanglang Ancient Town. These local railway stations also have direct tourist buses, which saves the trouble of secondary rides. The third is Dali urban area, which is also an option. It belongs to Xiaguan. You can also see the beautiful scenery of the Erhai Lake in Erhai Park here. Of course, if you want to see the most beautiful sea view, the location of the double corridor is the best. If you want to sign up for a group to travel around Erhai for a day, it is recommended to live near the railway station and in the ancient city of Dali, both places are more convenient to pick up and drop off. If you come to Dali for pure relaxation and viewing the scenery of Erhai Lake, consider living in Shuanglang Ancient Town, which is closer to the sea and relatively quiet. If you want to experience the local life of the Bai people, you can consider living in the ancient town of Xizhou, where the costumes feel cheaper than the ancient city of Dali. If you want to rent a car and ride the Erhai Lake, then go to the ancient city of Dali, because the ancient city of Dali is the best starting point and destination.
[Eating] Friends with a bad stomach should not eat greasy and spicy food. When you eat, you should go to some restaurants with diners and popular restaurants. If you see a small shop with dark lights and black fires or the boss is shooting flies in it, don't enter it. There are also friends who rent cars and ride around Erhai Lake. Remember to bring dry food and water, because there are not always small shops on both sides of the road along the 140-kilometer tour route. Each attraction is separated by a long distance. Try to eat breakfast well before departure. If you are on the road, you may not eat so smoothly and conveniently.
[About Kunming] Like our itinerary, Kunming is just a transit point, and time is tight for friends who come to Kunming and want to see seagulls, we suggest visiting nearby Dianchi Lake. I believe that it will take you about a day to really visit the attractions listed below. Reference attractions include Xishan Scenic Area, Dianchi Lake Haigeng Park, Haigeng Dam, Yunnan Ethnic Village, and Yunnan Ethnic Museum. All of the above attractions are basically in the same place. If you have one day or more, you can go to Cuihu Park, Guandu Ancient Town and other further attractions. There are still many scenic spots where you can check in Kunming, so I won't talk about them here. You can search online and then reasonably arrange your own time to start your trip. Our itinerary may not be suitable for everyone, it is just a reference.
Also, there are not many red-billed gulls in Kunming in October, but there will be more after November. Therefore, friends who come to Kunming to see seagulls should choose to come in November or later in winter. The scenery will be very different. The red-billed gulls are mainly concentrated in Cuihu Park and Dianchi Lake. In addition to watching seagulls, Kunming Dianchi Lake actually has beautiful sea views. The most important thing is that Haigeng Dam and Haigeng Park are free. You can see beautiful reflections in one place, and you can see far-away scenery in one place. There is a charge for the cableway and cable car to pass through the Xishan Scenic Area (70 yuan for a round-trip), but tickets to the scenic area are not included. Therefore, if you want to visit the Xishan Scenic Area, you have to buy a ticket if you want to enter the Longmen Scenic Area. It is recommended to purchase tickets for some attractions online and there will be discounts. If you plan your time well and don't care about the ticket issue, you can visit the Yunnan Ethnic Village across the road from Haigeng Park (ticket is 90 yuan). Moreover, if we arrange for one day, we can probably go to Cuihu Park and Jinma Biji Square to play. Because we had limited time, we couldn't go to the promised Cuihu Park. This is really a pity, mainly due to the problem of riding. We didn't have a direct bus to Cuihu Park at Haigeng Dam. We had to transfer another bus to get there. Considering that we had to go to the railway station and take the high-speed train to Dali. As a result, I gave up the idea of visiting Cuihu Park.
[About Dali]
Situation 1: If you are visiting Dali for the first time and are afraid of trouble and don't know how to arrange the time and itinerary, it is recommended to sign up for a group and have a light trip to Dali. This will save you a lot of trouble and distress, and it will also lay the foundation for visiting Dali in the future.
Situation 2: You have an understanding of Dali and are more aware of Dali's attractions or have already been to Dali once. It is recommended to rent an electric car for a single person. If you have multiple friends, you are recommended to rent a car. Driving in a car, you can control your own time and plan your own itinerary in both ways.
Scenario 3: Vacation travel. It refers to travel that likes to stay in one place for a few days and does not plan to move around. Such friends suggest taking a bus directly to ancient cities or ancient towns and finding an inn to stay quietly for a few days. Living in these places can also understand the local customs and living habits. You can make arrangements wherever you want to go without having to be bound by itinerary and attractions.
Scenario 4: Bicycle travel. There are more than 130 kilometers of highways around the sea in Erhai Lake. If you don't count the time for stopping to rest and watching the scenery, it is estimated that it will take at least a day or so to ride. For ordinary people, people who do not often exercise outdoors do not recommend traveling in this way. If you are a cycling enthusiast and often ride and travel, this method is more suitable for you.
[Transportation] Kunming Railway Station has a subway directly to the Xishan Scenic Area, so friends who leave from the railway station to visit the Xishan Scenic Area do not have to consider buses. It is much faster and more convenient to take the subway directly. In addition to taking bus No. 94, you can also take the Longmen Cableway Cable Car to visit the Xishan Scenic Area in Dianchi Park. Dianchi Lake is located on Dianchi Road in Xishan District, so starting from the urban area, you can take the following buses 44, 24, 73, 94, 135, 17, 233, etc., and get off at Haigeng Park Station. You can also take buses on lines 171, 183, 264, K31, K50, etc. to Haigeng Dam, and then walk towards the cableway to Haigeng Park. Besides, transportation is still possible in Dali. There are direct travel buses to the ancient city of Dali and the ancient town of Erhai Scenic Area. So if you want to visit any ancient city or ancient town, you can take the tourist bus directly at the train station. You can also take the bus back to the train station directly. Every attraction has car rental services, so it is convenient to rent a car and ride to some attractions.
