Shangguan flowers, Xiguan wind, Xiguan wind blows Shangguan flowers;
Cangshan snow, Erhai moon, Erhai moon shines on Cangshan snow.

After the famous writer Cao Jinghua traveled through Dali, he was deeply moved by the four scenery of Dali's wind, flowers, snow and moon and left this poem. I have been to many places in Yunnan, and my favorite is Dali. Just the "Erhai Lake", which looks like a flawless jade, won and made you forget to leave. The first place in Dali to become popular should be the Shuanglang. I like the warm spring flowers facing the sea. Now more friends come to Dali and like to tour around the Erhai Lake. From beautiful scenery to humanities to delicious food, you have everything you want here. However, Dali's charm is definitely not limited to this. Now is Dali's most beautiful time. You must go to these places. let's go!

[Travel Strategy]

1. stroke

D1: Chengdu-Dali (take the airport bus)-Dali Ancient City Accommodation: Fangzhou Muzhai (Dali Ancient City)

D2: Dali University-Hongsheng Road-Xingsheng Bridge-Haidong Highway-Xiaoputuo Residence: Fangzhou Muzhai (Dali Ancient City)

D3: Longniche Ancient Ferry-Xizhou Ancient Town-Haishue Park Accommodation: Fangzhou Muzhai (Dali Ancient City)

D4: Fengyangyi-Chongsheng Temple Three Towers Accommodation: Ark Muzhai (Ancient City of Dali)

D5: Dali-Chengdu

2. traffic

1) Plane: Airfare from Chengdu to Dali has always been quite cheap, and travel in the off-season is extremely affordable.

2) Train: Chengdu has a direct high-speed train to Dali. The whole journey takes 8 hours. It is still quite difficult. There are more than 600 second-class seats, which are generally more expensive than air tickets.

3) Dali's public transportation is relatively complete. The airport has an airport bus directly to the city and Dali Ancient City. There are also buses around the Erhai Lake through to the Dali Ancient City Scenic Area.

4) Rent a car: Rent a car is the best way to visit Dali. There are many car rentals in the ancient city of Dali, and they are all colorful and exaggerated sports cars. Hahaha, it's better to take pictures, and it's also a god/continent pick-up point. It's still convenient and affordable for 3-5 people to rent a car. If there are few people, you can also choose to rent a battery car or a bicycle.

3 Best Seasons

Yunnan has a pleasant climate and is a province suitable for visiting all year round. However, winter is the first among the four seasons, because it is not cold here in winter and most of the time is sunny. The Erhai Lake is the most beautiful in color, and there are also groups of red-billed gulls. You can watch winter cherry blossoms in December, and you can watch spring cherry blossoms in March, so I think the best times are December and March-April.

4. accommodation

Many friends like to choose to live by the Erhai Lake, where they can enjoy the sea view from their rooms. However, travel is relatively inconvenient. I chose to live in the ancient city of Dali this time, which is very convenient for transportation and food.

[Dali University][Hongsheng Road]

Dali is very famous for its cherry blossoms, and there are both winter and spring cherry blossoms. The best place to watch winter cherry blossoms is in the Cherry Blossom Valley of Wuliang Mountain, but Wuliang Mountain is too far away. It takes almost 8-9 hours to drive back and forth, so I gave up.

Dali University's cherry blossoms have always been very famous. From December to April, from winter to spring cherry blossoms are very beautiful. However, due to the epidemic, it has always been managed in a closed manner. I thought I would leave disappointed, but I didn't expect that I was checking in on the legendary most beautiful road. I accidentally saw the super beautiful cherry blossoms??

?

Hongsheng Road, this road is called the most beautiful road in Dali by netizens. It is very close to the ancient city of Dali, only 2 kilometers

I only knew that one end of this road leads to Erhai Lake. When I arrived, I found that the other end of it is Dali University. You can see the cherry blossoms in the school through the wall.

In addition, there are many cherry blossoms on both sides of Hongsheng Road, which are very beautiful.

When taking photos on Hongsheng Road, you must pay attention to safety. Don't sit in the middle of the road to take photos. Safety comes first!

There is also a community called "Shanshui Room" on this road. The spring cherry blossoms here are also very famous. There is a small stream in the community, and both sides of the stream are planted with cherry blossoms.

[Xingsheng Bridge]

This is a place I accidentally discovered after watching the cherry blossoms and driving to the Erhai Lake. Xingsheng Bridge is located in the urban area of Dali, not far from Dali Railway Station, across the Xier River. Through this bridge, it is the channel from the Erhai Lake to the Lancang River.

There are many seagulls and many black wild ducks by the bridge. The shape of the bridge is very European, and it seems to be in Europe in a trance.

On the bridge and the river under the bridge, walk from the bridge to the stairs by the river, go further, sit on a chair by the river, and take pictures with the bridge as the background.

[Xiao Putuo]

Cangshan and Erhai are surrounded by mountains and rivers. Erhai Lake is not a sea, but the second largest freshwater lake in Yunnan. It is named because it is shaped like a human ear. The Erhai Lake originates from Cibi Lake in Eryuan County, and its source comes from Bagu Mountain. In the north, there is the Mizhi River that injects people, in the southeast, and the Boluo River water is collected. In the west, there are 18 streams of water in Cangshan Mountain, covering an area of about 251 square kilometers, and the circumference of the Erhai Lake is about 120 kilometers. This section of the Haidong Highway is relatively beautiful. The highway is closer to the Erhai Lake. When driving by yourself, you can enjoy the beauty of the Erhai Lake all the way.

The earliest famous place along the Erhai Lake should be Shuanglang Town, Yang Liping's hometown. For a while, Shuanglang was completely the perfect endorsement of small freshness. When you come to Dali, you must go to Shuanglang to experience what it means to "face the sea, warm spring and blooming flowers", but later it became a large construction site and began a long road of repair. However, it has been repaired now, but I always feel that commercialization is more serious, so it is not included in the itinerary.

Another small town on the Erhai Lake, Dice, is located on the east bank of the Erhai Lake. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea on one side. It has been a land of fish and rice on the east bank of the Erhai Lake since ancient times. It is the birthplace of the Bai local culture with a long-term history in the Erhai Lake area. One of the places.

In addition to being more original and quieter than the ancient city of Dali and Shuanglang, Ducai also has two biggest advantages. First, every winter, many seagulls that fly from Siberia to the Erhai Lake to spend the winter are concentrated in Ducai Town, but this year It feels a little less; second, it is located on the east bank of the Erhai Lake, which is the best location to enjoy the sunset along the Erhai Lake.

Seagulls come here in November every year and leave in early March of the following year. The seagulls in Wase Town are mainly concentrated near Zhenkou and Xiaoputuo. They seem to have become accustomed to the competition of tourists to feed and eat well. Their cheerful cries filled the sky, infecting the people around them, and their mood immediately became brighter.

Xiaoputuo was built in the Ming Dynasty and renovated in 1982. It is a two-story building in the style of pavilions. The first floor is dedicated to Tathagata Bodhisattva, and the second floor is dedicated to Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. It is a very small island, not far from the shore. You can spend 15 yuan on a boat to the island, but it is unnecessary. It is more beautiful from a distance.

The best way to experience the Erhai Lake is to rent a battery car and stop along the highway around the sea, feed seagulls, take photos, and wait until sunset to enjoy the most beautiful sunset on the beach. This is a real trip.

Under the afterglow of the sun, I seem to feel that the whole world is the only beautiful scenery and us. I stretch out my arms to embrace everything beautiful, and let this moment remain in my heart forever.

Digging color has just entered everyone's attention, but its beauty is still so primitive and pure. I hope everyone can protect it well and leave a pure land for the seagulls coming from afar.

[Ark Fat Kitchen]

What is the biggest joy of traveling? It is to have beautiful scenery and delicious food. After enjoying the beautiful scenery all day and feasting your eyes, now you are going to enjoy the delicious food and feast your mouth.

What is the most famous food in Yunnan? It must be my favorite fungi. It is delicious and healthy. I will wait for you in Dali. Don't miss this bowl of mushroom soup in the Ark Fatty Kitchen.

The Ark Fat Kitchen is next to the Erhai Gate in the ancient city of Dali, only a step away from the Ark Muzhai B & B where I lived. I originally came for it, Dali Yunnan Cuisine No. 1, but later I learned that they are from the same family. Hahahaha, it's really flooded the Longwang Temple.

Ark Fat Man has a two-story building. If you can, you must sit on the second floor by the window. You can see the quiet and beautiful ancient city outside, look at Cangshan in the distance, enjoy the fragrant mushroom soup, and suddenly feel super happy at this moment.

What the Ark fatty must order must be a mushroom soup pot. You can choose whatever you like. In my husband's words, as long as it is a mushroom, it is delicious, hahaha. I chose morels, bamboo fungus, and another one that I forgot what to call. There are so many types of fungi, I only remember their deliciousness, but I forgot the name. Hahaha.

After the bottom of the pot is boiled, the waiter will pour all the fungi into the pot, and then put an hourglass to time. After the hourglass leaks out, you can eat it. What surprised me the most was that saffron was added to the soup for free, and the chicken in the soup was also added for free. The boss is so down-to-earth. No wonder the popularity and reputation are so high.

Come on, a pot of thick and fragrant mushroom soup is ready. Take a bowl of soup and enjoy the excellent food of Dali.

[Ark Mu House]

I come to Dali almost every year. In the past, I always chose to live on the edge of the Erhai Lake when I came to Dali. I liked the feeling of "facing the sea and blooming flowers in warm spring". I have come many times, and I feel that living on the edge of the Erhai Lake is really inconvenient. I wasted a lot of time on the road. Most of the attractions during this trip were near the ancient city of Dali, and the pick-up point for our car rental was also beside the ancient city, so I chose to live in the ancient city this time.

After reading a lot of strategies and netizens 'comments, I finally chose Fangzhou Muzhai Inn. After taking the airport bus from the airport to Gucheng and getting off, it takes a few minutes to walk there. It is also close to the car rental and pickup point. The inn also has its own free parking lot, parking on the edge of the ancient city is really quite expensive.

Turning a corner, you can see "Dali is waiting for you" and "This place of peace of mind is my home". Under the blue sky and white clouds, the white three-story building really feels like home. I haven't seen the words "Ark Mu Zhai, so I'm walking here with my heart.

The housekeeper of the inn opened the door for us very enthusiastically and welcomed us into this temporary home. Although the courtyard was not large, it was full of green plants and meat, full of vitality. There was a pool of water in the middle, which was fresh and elegant, making people Unconsciously relax, just like what it feels like after returning home from a foreign country.

The room is quite spacious and warmly decorated. There is a big bathtub in front of the window. I like this bathtub very much. I am still quite tired after a day of play. I can take a good bath and relax in the bathtub. It is very comfortable.

The inn has three floors in total. There are platforms on the second floor and the roof, which is very suitable for friends to sit down and chat. The roof can also overlook Cangshan. The view is very open and the scenery is beautiful.

The inn is located in the corner of the ancient city. The alarm clock is set to be quiet. You can walk to the center of the ancient city for a few minutes and feel the excitement. When you return to your room, it is very quiet again. Get a good sleep. I go to Longkan Gudu every morning to watch the sunrise (the result is so comfortable. I woke up late and missed the sunrise, haha)

[Longniche Ancient Ferry]

Dali comes here once or twice a year, but it is the first time to Longkan Gudu. It is very close to the ancient city of Dali. I heard that it is beautiful to watch the sunrise here, but I didn't get up in the morning and missed it.

I missed the sunrise and it is still beautiful!, There are the recently popular redwood trees and seagulls, although not as many as the prosperous bridges.

Can you overlook the double corridors and watch the cruise ship slowly pass by? Blue, red, yellow, and white, all of which are big films taken at any time. Sitting by the Erhai Lake and looking at the beautiful scenery in front of you, this is the real "quiet years"??

You can get there by driving directly with navigation, and you can drive to the seaside by car, which takes two to three minutes on foot.

? The best time to take photos: around 9 a.m., or earlier if you want to see the sunrise. Check the specific sunrise time online

Always use regular gull food to feed seagulls and try not to get too close to the seagulls

[Xizhou Ancient Town]

When I come to Dali, many people like to go to the ancient city of Dali, but I like to come to Xizhou. It is quieter and simpler here. The most important thing is that I like Xizhou Baba.

Xizhou is located in the north of Dali, bordering Cangshan Mountain in the west and Erhai Lake in the east. Xizhou is one of the birthplaces of Dali culture and a gathering place for the Bai people long ago. Xizhou Ancient Town is one of the ancient cities left in the ancient city of Nanzhao. It has a history of thousands, and it is also the hometown of the movie "Five Golden Flowers". Therefore, this is the best place to experience the Bai people's customs.

The core area of Xizhou Ancient Town is still called Sifang Street, but the scale is not large, but the entire ancient town is still quite large, so you can take a small yellow car driven by local residents. It costs 10 yuan, which is very cheap. Of course, during the period, he will take you to some root carving shops, embroidery shops, tea shops, etc. It's actually nothing. After all, 10 yuan is too cheap. Others also have to make money to support their families. You can just not buy it, just let him take you for a tour of the ancient town. You can also ask him to stop and take photos when you see something you are interested in.

There are two scenic spots in the ancient town that require a fee, but they don't feel very interesting. It's better to stroll around and see these old buildings.

The last stop of the small yellow car was Sifang Street, where the popularity here was obviously much more popular. I rushed directly to a shop selling Xizhou Baba. Although it was very big, in order to try different flavors, I still bought one sweet and one salty. The taste result was that I still found it sweet and delicious.

Xizhou Baba can be said to be the biggest spokesperson of Xizhou. You must eat one when you come here. Although it looks ordinary, the production process is still very particular. When making, two layers of charcoal fire are used. The upper layer of charcoal fire is fierce and the lower layer of charcoal fire is slow fire. Brush lard on the prepared dough and then put into the pan to bake. During the baking process, brush the grease several times to bake until fragrant. Xizhou Baba has a crispy outer skin and a soft inner skin, so you can see that in Xizhou Ancient Town, every shop writes "Broken Crispy Baba". After taking a bite, the crispy outer skin is full of flowers. It's really delicious.

In addition to Xizhou Baba, Xizhou's pea jelly is also good, which is very suitable for the tastes of our Sichuan people.

I was finally satisfied after eating the Xizhou Baba that I was longing for. Next, I went to Haitang Park next to Xizhou. It is said that the scenery there is very good.

[Haishue Park]

The Erhai Lake, the mother lake of the people of Dali, is indeed so beautiful that it is not like that of the world. The previous article gave everyone a colorful look, but now it gives everyone another unique beautiful place along the Erhai Lake, which is located next to Xizhou Ancient Town in the west of the Erhai Lake. Sea tongue Park.

Haizhe Park is located in Jinhe Village, Xizhou Town, on the west bank of the Erhai Lake. Because the Wanhua River of Cangshan Mountain enters the sea here, coupled with the slow flow and squeezing of the Erhai Lake seawater, this long sandbar with three faces water is formed. Local historical records record It is called "Qingsha Island". The sand bar is 3 miles long and runs from width to width to depth in the Erhai Lake. It is shaped like a "tongue", hence the name "Sea Tongue".

The color is dug in Haidong, while the Haijiao Park is on Haixi. The scenery between the east and west is slightly different. The water in Haixi breeds many trees and jungles. Haidong has seagulls to add aura, and Haixi is more vivid because of these trees and jungles in the water.

Haitang Park is a free park. The parking lot is a few hundred meters away from the park gate. In fact, it only takes about 15 minutes on foot. However, you can also try to enter by carriage. 20 yuan/car is not expensive, but it is recommended not to take carriage in and out, because the scenery on both sides of this gravel road is not inferior to that in the park at all.

Near the Erhai Lake on one side, blue sky, white clouds, forests, wetlands, fishing boats... various elements paint a beautiful landscape that makes people forget to leave.

Walking into the gate of the park, the first thing that comes into view is two rows of lush bamboo forests. The green is refreshing. The sun shines through the gaps in the bamboo forest and shines on the bamboo forest opposite the road, reflecting dots of yellow light.

After passing through the bamboo forest, you can see this cafe near the seaside. This is the only place in the park where you can sit down and take a nap, have a cup of coffee, face the sea, and talk about life with a laugh.

Haishue Park is named because it is shaped like a "tongue", so the park's indication map is the simplest I have ever seen, because it is a tongue-shaped sandbar deep into the Erhai Lake without any fork roads.

You can often see local people going out to sea here to fish. If you are lucky, you can also see ospreys catching fish, which is much better than spending money to perform in ospreys.

The deeper I went into the park, the stronger the wind was. The tree at the end felt like it was about to fall down due to the wind. I suddenly wanted to know how much stronger the famous Shangguan wind was than here, but the children did not seem to be affected by the strong wind. They were looking for certain small sea creatures by the seaside.

As soon as you enter the park, there is a sign written on the roadside, which reads: Reptiles often appear here, which means that this is a pristine park and there will be many unknown small animals. Of course, whether you can see them depends on your luck.

[Jinshan Centenary Ancient Garden Restaurant]

It's dinner time. I returned to the ancient city of Dali to stroll around. The lights were just on and the night was fading. By this time, the ancient city was completely different from the day. It was gentle and quiet during the day, but suddenly became lively at night.

Jishan Centenary Restaurant was also included in the itinerary before I traveled. Many friends have recommended this restaurant to me. Many celebrities have been there. It is also very close to Ark Muzhai. It is only a five-minute walk.

After entering the door, there is a big courtyard, which is very contemporary. I heard from the landlady that it was inherited by their family and operated for generations. The courtyard is decorated in a simple and simple manner and has local characteristics. The courtyard is full of plants and full of vitality. Enjoy delicious food in such a beautiful environment. It's super pleasant!

Vanilla lemon chicken, the signature dish in the store, must order NO1. The chicken is cut into small pieces, which is very delicious, with a special vanilla flavor. Coupled with dried peppers, the aroma is overflowing and has endless aftertaste. It is very suitable for the tastes of Sichuan people.

Carved plum beef slices. I like this dish very much. It tastes sweet and sour. It has big plum meat in it, and the beef is very tender.

Signature passion fruit sour and spicy fish is also a signature must-order. Passion fruit soup base is delicious and appetizing. It is sour and spicy. The fish is super tender, delicious and tender.

Fungus fragrant aquatic poplar flowers, aquatic poplar flowers, Yunnan specialties, you must try it when you come to Yunnan. It is a wild vegetable that grows in lakes. You eat its stems. It is smooth and crispy, and combines the aroma of fungi. It is very refreshing and fragrant.

I heard that their home-brewed wine is very good, but unfortunately we don't know how to drink. If we really wanted to try it, we feel a little regretful now. Such a beautiful night should feel slightly tipsy.

[Fengyangyi]

Dali has been famous since ancient times for its four scenic spots: "Xiaguan Wind, Shangguan Flowers, Cangshan Snow, and Erhai Moon". These four unique scenery are indeed well-deserved and make people linger. During this trip to Dali, with the recommendation of local friends, we discovered another primitive and mysterious place, that is,"Fengyang Yi" not far from the ancient city of Dali, a stone village on the only remaining tea-horse ancient road hidden in Dali!

The ancient tea-horse road originated from the "tea-horse exchange" during the Tang and Song Dynasties, and was used to exchange goods needed by Tibetan areas and the mainland. The Fengyangyi Tea and Horse Ancient Road is located halfway through Dafeng Road between Xiaguan and Dali. It belongs to a section of the Dian-Tibet Tea and Horse Ancient Road. This ancient road was built in the Han Dynasty and formed during the Nanzhao Dali Dynasty. It has a total length of 1900 meters and is relatively well preserved. This is the only ancient road in Dali.

The ancient tea-horse road passes through the ruins of Taihe City, the capital of Nanzhao, and enters Fengyangyi Village in the north. Fengyangyi Village was originally named "Brick Kiln". In history, it used to mainly fire bricks, tiles and pottery cans. Later, it took the meaning of "Danfeng Chaoyang" and changed its name to "Fengyangyi". The most distinctive thing in the village is that the houses are made of irregular stones and have the architectural elements of marble that "stone walls will not fall down".

Most of the houses here are Dali characteristic earthen warehouses, and below the cornice are piled up with strips of stones and pebbles; there are still more than 40 earthen houses still retaining their former appearance. During the walk, mottled and old earth walls, The dancing tiled roofs of thatch and smooth and round stone floors have left a deep impression here. It seems that you can see the horses coming and going here in those days, holding the hope of different ethnic groups on both sides of the ancient road!

While shopping, I found a very interesting place. There are lush cactus on the walls of many houses. I asked the villagers passing by and was told that planting cactus on the top of the wall can ward off evil spirits. So that was the case.

There is a shell wall on a house on the roadside that seems to have been abandoned. As the name suggests, a shell wall is a wall made by mixing shells and soil and ramming it. This kind of wall is stronger and stronger, and the wall is strong and not easy to crack. This shell wall is often used by residents along rivers or lakes. It is made of local materials and unique.

While wandering around the village, I met three children. When I learned that they were going to Guanyin Well to collect water, I followed them with great interest. Guanyin Well is under a very inconspicuous stone ladder on the roadside. It is a rectangular wellhead that is not too large. There is a stone statue of Guanyin above the entrance, hence the name "Guanyin Well". The villagers take all their drinking water from here. The well water is not polluted and can be drunk directly. The little sister is so thirsty that she gulps half a spoonful of it when she reaches the well.

The little sister was very enthusiastic and insisted on taking me to their house to play. After chatting with them for a while, I realized that their parents had gone to work in the ancient city of Dali, leaving only them and the old man at home. The eldest boy was also responsible for cooking for the whole family. How sensible.

Fengyangyi used to be called "Straw Hat Street" by local people due to the prosperous trade of straw hats. Now, there are still Bai grandma weaving straw hats in the small square in the village every day. The grandma sees me and greets me very enthusiastically. She also asked me where I came from, with a happy and satisfied smile on my face. If I have time, I can sit next to the grandma and chat with them about daily life. You should be able to hear many interesting and touching stories.

Fengyangyi is not yet fully open. There are few B & Bs and are all owned by locals. Few tourists come here. If you want to experience the profound history of the Ancient Tea Horse Road, the ancient houses and simple customs of the Bai people, this should be a good choice. There is no disturbance from the outside world. It is easy to oversleep in the morning. When you wake up, all you can hear is the song of birds, stroke the stone walls that have left a profound historical mark, drink a sweet well water from Guanyin Well, and chat with the Bai grandma. What a relaxing and enjoyable experience!

[Three Towers of Chongsheng Temple]

The earliest impression of Dali should come from Jin Yong's "Eight Parts of the Dragon". I love Duan Yu, who is obsessed with it, so this time I specially came to the Third Pagoda to see the place where thirty emperors, including Duan Yu, became monks.

The three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple are located 1.5 kilometers northwest of the ancient city of Dali, facing Yingle Peak in Cangshan Mountain in the west and Erhai Lake in the east. Chongsheng Temple was once the royal temple of the Duan family, but the former Chongsheng Temple is no longer there. What we see now is It has been rebuilt in recent years, only the three ancient towers in front of the temple are monuments with a history of thousands of years.

The three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were built during the period of King Quanfengyou of Nanzhao (824-859 AD). The large pagoda "Chihiro Pagoda" was first built, which is 69.13 meters high. It is a square brick tower with dense eaves with a total of 16 floors. Later, the south and north towers were built, both 42.19 meters high. They are a pair of octagonal brick towers, both of which are 10 levels. In addition to the Buddhist tradition that one could become a Buddha, there was another important reason for building the three pagodas. In ancient times, Dali was known as "the country was prone to floods", and the pagodas had the function of suppressing water.

The best way to visit the three towers is to enter the scenic area, take a battery car to the key point of the top of the mountain, which is the location of the Daxiong Hall of Chongsheng Temple, and then slowly travel down the steps in the temple to finally reach the three towers.

There is a Three Towers Reflection Park not far from the Three Towers Scenic Area. It is also a very good angle to view the Three Towers. The reflections in the water are more vivid. The Reflection Park shares tickets with the Three Towers Scenic Area. Reflection Park closes earlier than the Three Towers Scenic Area, so you must pay attention to reasonable arrangements for the time.
