At the beginning, I would like to show a few films to express my good mood for this trip.
If there is a place where you are there and you start to think about coming back next time, then this place has long lived in your heart. Yunnan has been to some places, but only Dali has been there many times and wants to come again, as if it is still one more time. Strangely enough, every time you miss her, you will really come to her side...
Why do you care for her so much? Just because there are endless "romantic scenery" here?
Not only that, there are the happy Jianghu written by Mr. Jin Yong, the purity of blue or blue, the simplicity and enthusiasm of the Bai people, and the red world that I have never been able to give up and have deep affection for. This time, I heard that on the night when Mr. Jin Yong passed away last year, Cangshan turned white all night. I can't help but sigh: If heaven and earth are like this, let alone us and others.
So I left one poem here and for this unforgettable trip to Dali:
qingpingle
Autumn wind is thin,
Light ten fragrant flowers.
Pu 'er tastes slightly sweet,
leaning against the balcony and singing.
Climbing Cangshan to find the snow,
View the Erhai Lake and admire the bright moon.
I still see you,
The scenery is endless.
[Sleep in Dali Strength Hilton Hotel]
Going west all the way to Dali seems to have become a fashion for travel now. I remember that once upon a time, many B & Bs suddenly appeared along the Erhai Lake. It seemed that overnight, on the east coast, west coast, Xiaguan, and beside the ancient city of Dali, these B & Bs mushroomed like bamboo shoots after rain. Because people pursue the fashion of travel, businessmen will also chase the hearts of consumers. When you come to Dali, staying at a B & B is an option because it may be closer to the life and local atmosphere here. There are also some good B & Bs, and they also have many ways. Let's not talk about B & Bs today. The last time I came to Dali, I stayed at B & Bs in Xiaguan and Shuanglang, so this time, I just want to be a god and cherish the beautiful world.
This time, I chose Dali's Strength Hilton Hotel, the only five-star hotel in Dali City. The hotel is backed by Cangshan Mountain and sitting and watching the Erhai Lake, taking advantage of all the beauty and convenience. You can sleep in the room and embrace the romantic scenery. Isn't it very romantic?
The hotel is located halfway down the mountain of Buddha Peak, one of the 19th Peaks of Xicang Mountain in Erhai Lake. It is 24.3 kilometers away from Dali Airport and 12.1 kilometers from Dali Railway Station. It is 6.9 kilometers away from Cangshan Scenic Area, 9 kilometers away from Dali Ancient City, and only 1.9 kilometers away from Gantong Temple and Jizhao Temple. Excellent location and convenient transportation. Everyone who has been to Dali knows that the way to play in Dali is simply charter a car, rent a car and drive, take a taxi, electric bike, or bicycle, depending on which way you choose. Therefore, although the hotel is located halfway up the mountain, it will not affect the convenient transportation at all. Because wherever you are, you need a car to travel. On the middle of the mountain, you can also have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake.
As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, the view is very wide. There are "flowers and snow" in the lobby. Can anyone with discerning eyes see it? The hanging decoration in the lobby uses soft materials to create the image of petals to interpret the "wind flowers". The background installation at the front desk is tie-dyed with traditional Dali craftsmanship to express your deep feelings for the Cangshan Snow and Erhai Moon. I wonder if you can feel the intention of the hotel design if you are careful. Since its opening in 2015, the hotel has won many awards. There are more than 360 rooms during this period. Currently, we have jointly built multiple parent-child rooms with Ctrip. Each room is very warmly decorated and suitable for parent-child families who come here. This time, although I didn't bring any children with me, I chose the parent-child guest room here and planned to visit the class in advance to prepare for the next time I come to Dali, Yunnan with my children.
[Sleeping in the hotel]
As soon as I stepped into the room, I was infected by this strong parent-child affection. I quickly took photos and took them home to show Tianhao. He would be very happy and would definitely shout to come again with my mother. The warm yellow tone makes the entire room immersed in a warm embrace. There are small tents that children like, children's slides, and many cartoon designs. The deep-rooted large-mouthed monkey pillows and dolls. See the seconds return to the same year. The Bai fabrics with Yunnan ethnic characteristics, the welcome gift with exquisite design and excellent food taste, and the glass sliding doors on the viewing balcony echo each other from afar, allowing you to feel the sultry scenery and tranquil blue charm here in the guest room, even in the bath. There are children's towels and toiletries in the bathroom, water toys on the bathtub, children's toilets and foot pedals in the bathroom, and a shower table for the elderly to sit on is also designed in the shower room. These details all highlight the hotel's heart-warming affinity.
Although my son is not around, the thought of sleeping here at night makes my heart sweet. There are also these welcome snacks, fruits and desserts are all super delicious.
I especially like these fabrics. These handicrafts with local characteristics in Yunnan, whether they are slipper bags, water cup covers, or laundry bags, seem to give these seemingly inconspicuous things a life and color. It makes you suddenly realize that it turns out that, because we are too busy, we ignore many of the beauties of looking down.
My favorite thing in the room should be this stands. From here, you can see the beautiful Erhai Lake. Moreover, what you can feel from this observation deck is somewhat different. It has the artistic conception of looking far away and the satisfaction of having a panoramic view. Listen to the wind and wash the sea, look into the deep, peaceful, peaceful touch of blue from the bottom of your eyes into your heart, until it is buried in the deepest part of your heart, so you will suddenly feel at ease, and you can smell the deepest part of your heart even if you focus and close your eyes. The sense of depth. A casual glance around me can see the romantic pastoral scenery of Dali. To be honest, I like the houses of the Bai people very much. I don't know the specific reasons. I feel that it is not flashy and pompous, but more of a simple and unpretentious life. The same white walls and black tiles, and smoke curling from the kitchen, which is completely different from the graceful and graceful style of the Hui School and Jiangnan School. After looking at it for a long time, it seems that ink and ink are leaping on the paper.
[Playing in the hotel]
A small corner of the hotel lobby will also incorporate some parent-child designs, so that parent-child families who come here can feel warm love no matter where they are.
The hotel also has a children's entertainment center, swimming pool, gym, etc., allowing you to enjoy the fun of vacation while touring the mountains and rivers. In addition, I also learned that the hotel is still preparing to build a super-large children's play center, which is currently under construction. When it is completed, parent-child fun will be excellent. I remember that this is really the most suitable hotel for parent-child stay in Dali. There is no one.
Parent-child projects Playing at Dali's powerful Hilton Hotel has to be said to be the "equestrian experience". When you come to Dali, Yunnan, remember to ride a horse, but the only place I know where you can ride a horse is at the Ximatan Cableway in Cangshan, which is not as many as Lijiang and Shuhe. However, don't worry. Now that you come to Dali, your parents can stay at the Dali Powerful Hilton Hotel. You can experience parent-child equestrian at the hotel without leaving home. The horses here are all school-based horses, professionally trained, very tame, and very suitable for children to experience. The hotel has professional instructors, who can help children learn simple riding and hold the reins with one hand. If children have very good balance skills, they can also have the opportunity to experience the life of grazing horses on horseback without grasping the reins with their hands.
[Eat in the hotel]
Dali Power Hilton Hotel has three restaurants and a bar. Yuxi Chinese Restaurant mainly provides some Dali specialties, classic Cantonese cuisine and selected Sichuan cuisine series. It is recommended that you enjoy dinner here for the whole family. Breakfast is buffet style. You can go to Xiang All-Day Restaurant to taste local Yunnan cuisine, and of course there are many international flavors, such as Hefeng cuisine, French Western food, etc. Lanyue Restaurant is currently being improved to make it teppanyaki style. You can eat by the stove, or you can choose to go to the outdoor terrace to enjoy the beautiful scenery and enjoy the selection of delicacies.
The afternoon tea on the hotel lobby landscape platform is an Internet celebrity with excellent scores. If you don't check in, you will be out.
There are endless drinking of Pu 'er and Iceland, which will leave you with endless aftertaste. There are also authentic cross-bridge rice noodles, which taste is definitely vastly different from roadside stalls.
A very rich breakfast will leave you in a good mood after eating all day.
Beautiful afternoon tea is definitely the love of the little fairies.
[See all the scenery of Dali]
The scenery in Dali is already very beautiful, but what makes me miss the most is the red dust here. In fact, it's a red world because there is everything you want for travel here. Look at the scenery: There are mountains, snow, sea, blue, cities, towns, islands, boats, people, villages, flowers, pastoral poetry... Isn't that enough? Then there is a sunrise and sunset, with deep love. Look at human feelings: There are "Jianghu" here, there are children, there are Bai people, there are little days when they spend time together day after day, there are songs and dances... Isn't that enough? Then there are also traditional crafts and folk craftsmen. As a diner: Here are rice noodles, rice dumplings, roasted milk fans, Jianshui tofu, Xizhou cake, water poplar cakes, jasmine egg cakes, green vegetables and tofu soup, braised chicken, green plum beef, green tea rose cakes... Isn't that enough? There are also brown sugar harrows and delicacies brewed from various flowers. Either one is enough to satisfy your taste buds. Therefore, people who have been to Dali always feel that they have to come again, and every time is not the last time.
[Climb Cangshan and appreciate the beautiful temperature amidst the wind and clouds]
To go to Cangshan, you must take the Ximatan Cableway, and then check in 3966. This is the biggest purpose of this trip. Because there were elderly people and the children were too young during the last trip to Dali, it has always been a pity that I couldn't come to Cangshan for a walk! This time the plane landed in Dali, and the first thing after settling down was to go to Cangshan. On my trip this time, I actually went to Cangshan twice, one time was to reach the top of 3966, and I saw the endless scenery of Ximatan. The other time was to follow Dali Shili Hilton Hotel to visit the most beautiful nunnery in China.
Each of the 19 peaks of Cangshan Mountain is extremely beautiful. Among them, Malong Peak is the highest, with an altitude of 4122 meters. Although it cannot defeat the Yulong Snow Mountain and Meili Snow Mountain, it is famous because it is located in Dali and has a different scenery. Every name of the 19th Peak of Cangshan Mountain is extremely pleasant: Yunnong, Canglang, Wutai, Lotus, Baiyun, Heyun, Sanyang, Lanfeng, Snowman, Yingle, Guanyin, Zhonghe, Longquan, Yuju, Malong, Shengying, Foding, Ma 'er and Xieyang. Such a beautiful and melodious name makes me intoxicated just by listening to it. I don't know who named it, but it's as if an immortal left it behind. Therefore, if you follow the fame, you will want to find out.
To go to Cangshan, to go to Ximatan, you have to take the Ximatan cableway, and then you have to climb another 1120 meters to see the beautiful scenery of Ximatan. Ximatan is mainly located on Yuju Peak, which is 4097 meters above sea level. Even if you reach Ximatan, you will not be able to completely reach the top even if you reach the observation deck of Yuju Peak. Coming off the Ximatan cableway, you will reach an altitude of 3900 meters. After that, you will have to go down for a while and then go up. Maybe they are also worried that some people will have high objections, so this design can ease everyone up. During climbing, try to walk slowly, and friends with better physical fitness can maintain a constant speed.
Cangshan is a lot more famous. I just talked about the 19th peaks, but now I want to talk about the unpredictable clouds of clouds here. Starting from the middle section of the cableway upwards, it will enter the sea of clouds. At this time, you can deeply appreciate the amazing sea of clouds of Cangshan. When you climb the observation deck, you can not only see a pool of Ximatan water, but you can also see the Ximatan water that changes with the color of the sky and the changing color of the clouds and the surging wind. When you look up, you can see the mountains surrounded by clouds and mist, and when you bow your head, you can see this colorful pool of water. People with hearts like rocks may melt. Of course, if you can come here in the most beautiful March and April, you can really see the most beautiful Shangguan flowers. At that time, azaleas bloomed all over the mountains, adding color to the scenery of this sea of clouds. If you can come here in winter, you can also see the white-headed Cangshan Mountain and taste the real snow of Cangshan Mountain.
It is still early to go from the Ximatan cableway to the foot of the mountain, so you can go to Tianlong Babu Film and Television City for a walk. Before entering the film and television center, he was stunned by the look at the door of "Flying snow shooting at white deer in the sky, and the smiling hero leaned against the green jade"! I couldn't help but move. It's been a year and it's almost the first anniversary of Mr. Jin Yong's death. Now that I'm here, it's not just a coincidence.
Back then, Mr. Jin Yong only had a dream in Dali, and this dream became a Jianghu. When Mr. Jin Yong wrote about the Dali Kingdom, he had not yet known what the Dali Kingdom really looked like. Today, the Jianghu carried by Dali Kingdom can be found in his dreams in Tianlong Babu Film and Television City. Many people say that Tianlong Babu Film and Television City is not very interesting, and no one is willing to go even if the tickets are given away for free. I just listen, and I can only understand those things. It's like asking a child who only reads comic books to read the Four Books and Five Classics. Can he explain the truth?
Dali's reputation is also thanks to Mr. Jin Yong's wonderful writing. Looking back, Mr. Jin Yong has a long history with Dali. The depth of his feelings can not only be seen from the Jianghu in his works, but also from the meaning behind him. The old man always boasted that he was from Dali in his previous life. In fact, after visiting Dali, you may be able to understand some of the secrets. Dali, a Miaoxiang Buddhist country that believes in Buddhism, has its inevitable connection with receiving the old man's care. I think this is like each of us has a city that belongs to our heart and a holy place to convert to our soul.
Tickets for the Cangshan Ximatan Grand Cableway: Ctrip price is 280 yuan, and the ticket includes (the entire section of the cableway + Tianlong Babu Film and Television City + round-trip transportation of the ancient city + battery car in the scenic area). You can also purchase a ticket for the middle section of the cableway.
Warm reminder: There are three cableways in Cangshan, Ximatan Cableway, Gantongsi Cableway and Zhonghe Cableway. Please confirm which cableway you want to choose before departing. The opening hours of the cableway are: 9:00-16:30. The latest ticket change is 2:00 p.m., and the time to visit Cangshan generally takes more than 4 hours. The cableway is closed at 4:30 p.m., and the latest shuttle bus to the city is 5:30 p.m., so if you don't want to walk down the mountain home, you should plan your time well. Cableway tickets can be exchanged at the Tourist Service Center outside the south gate of Dali Ancient City, and then a shuttle bus will be delivered directly to the cableway place.
[Go to Cangshan again and go to the most beautiful nunnery in China to eat vegetarian food]
Many landscapes are not as prosperous as the day, but many landscapes feel lonely amidst the hustle and bustle.
Insert a few photos of Gantong Temple. This ancient temple is also very famous in Dali. It has witnessed the sadness of the ancient tea-horse road and the glory of the Cangshan pilgrimage road. Now, it seems that it has been lost in the baptism of the wind and frost of the past for thousands of years. Although there are no scenic spots in the past, it can also reflect the loneliness of the present. Gantong Temple is not the protagonist of our day. Today's protagonist is Jizhao Temple located between Dayuntang and Boluo Temple. Just by looking at the name, it seems that you can feel the beauty of her silence. And this beautiful temple is known as the "most beautiful nunnery".
In most temples, vegetarian meals are provided to passers-by. There are things in Jizhao Nunnery and Gantong Temple. However, I heard that most of the people who come here to eat vegetarian meals go to Jizhao Nunnery, and people who go to eat vegetarian meals in the nunnery can queue up outside the door. So I became more curious about what kind of temple it is and it has such great magic power.
(These three pictures were still taken while passing by Gantong Temple)
Finally, when I reached the door of the nunnery, it seemed that I could already smell the aroma of flowers and plants in the garden. The biggest attraction in Jizhao Nunnery is the fragrance of flowers in the temple and the free vegetarian zhai, which attracts countless good men and women, and the most beautiful nunnery can indeed be called the most beautiful. Just the flowers and plants in the garden is enough. All kinds of flowers, as well as green plants, are well maintained here. All those who come here to worship do not need to pay incense money, but only need to sacrifice every flower and grass. There is no need to make noise here, just to appreciate the tranquility brought by meditation.
I especially lamented the meaty meat that is ubiquitous in this temple, either lying in the soil, planted in various wooden pots, or hanging on cliffs. It is so toot and cute, and some look as delicious as cabbage. Sigh, thinking about the meaty meat that is often half-dead at home, my heart turns sour.
Walking closer to the inner courtyard, sure enough, diners were already crowded into the courtyard. The crowd queuing for food can really line up in several rows, no less than the large group of people checking in to play games at Disney. There is no serious and cold appearance here, but there is peace and tranquility inside. People who eat vegetarian meals are silent and eat the food in their own bowls. The aroma of flowers and food wafting everywhere in the nunnery, as well as the faint aroma of tea wafting from the tea room. On the first, fifteenth and weekends, the nunnery provides free vegetarian meals and tea, so that all ordinary people they visit can experience the universal salvation of all living beings in the Ji Zhao Nunnery.
Speaking of which, what is real cultivation? It is to pay attention to people's living conditions and observe one's inner world; what is true influence and good deeds? It should be the beauty of silence, the beauty of silence where spring rain is as thin as silk and moistens things silently.
Jizhao Temple is located in Cangshan, and Gantong Temple is a five-minute walk up.
Warm reminder: There is vegetarian fasting in the street, but diners need to eat as much as they can, and not leave leftovers. Every grain of rice left will be punished to kneel and wash all the bowls and chopsticks in the temple. People who come here must bring a pilgrimage and a heart of silence. No loud noise or running around are allowed in the temple, let alone destroy every flower, grass or tree in the courtyard at will.
[Ancient City of Dali, turn over the page and read it to you]
The last time I came here with my children, I entered from the south gate of the ancient city of Dali and walked around the way. Therefore, this time I chose the south gate because I had a complex about this place. How many gates does the ancient city have? Do you remember that most cities must be square and only have four gates. The Erhai Gate on the east gate of the ancient city leads to the Erhai Lake; the Cangshan Gate on the west gate is a view of the Cangshan Mountains; the north gate is the Santa Gate with a moat outside the gate; the south gate is the Chengen Gate, and only the south gate has the words Dali.
The history of the ancient city of Dali dates back to the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty. The sixth king of Nanzhao State decided to move the capital from Taihe City to Yangjumei City as its new capital, so he built an ancient city wall. After the decline of Nanzhao State, Dali State still had Yangju Miaicheng as its capital. It was not until Dali State was destroyed by the Yuan Dynasty that the history of this old capital ended. After that, it was not until the Ming Dynasty conquered Dali that the ancient city of Dali, which is also the city seen today, began to be built. There is only one street in the entire city from south to north, and streets and alleys crisscross from west to east, like branches of a towering tree. What makes people sigh in the city is the all-color stone-green houses, and the cobblestone city walls give people a sense of simplicity and depth. Especially when the lights are on at night, it is especially beautiful.
There are several roads in the ancient city that must be checked in. Needless to say, Fuxing Road, the main road, is the only avenue from south to north. There are shops everywhere on Renmin Road from east to west. This is a good place for diners. On Renmin Road, you can see the leisurely life of Dali people. Foreign Street, this street known as the city protection street, is now a place frequented by many foreign friends. Many people say that the ancient city of Dali is not as prosperous and lively as the ancient city of Lijiang, but I say that it is a blessing that the commercialization here is not so strong. Only in this way can we experience the truly comfortable life of Dali people in the ancient city.
If we say that walking in the ancient town of Jiangnan water town and looking at the gardens in Suzhou, we will see the scenery step by step and love everywhere, and we are just the back of the scenery. Then, while swimming in the ancient city of Dali, you will feel more and more that you have become the protagonist of the story! This feeling is inexplicably good. There are many shops in the ancient city, doing small businesses, most of which are related to food and clothing. I think this way can I feel the smell of fireworks, which is only true. When buying clothes in the ancient city, most of them are handmade cotton and linen products, which are very comfortable to wear. If you buy jewelry or headscarves, there are many styles. Choose at will, and there will always be one that suits you. Flower cakes, roasted milk fans, Jianshui stinky tofu, various fruits, fresh fungi, snacks, rice noodles can also be eaten in the ancient city. You can also watch craftsmen make them by hand and appreciate the hardships of craftsmen. Every place has its own memory way that penetrates into us. It would be great if we could find beautiful scenery on a beautiful occasion, linger in our hearts, warm and friendly to the skin, and have delicious food lingering on our lips and teeth.
Finally, I wanted to say: Walking in the ancient city, I became the master without realizing it. If I can have a beautiful dream when I go back, it must be a dream related to "the wind, the snow and the moon" and "the Emperor of Dali".
It is said that the night in the ancient city of Dali is the most beautiful. Sure enough, the simplicity of this ancient color and the warm golden lights may be the best match, and it also makes the pedestrians at night feel their love.
Warm tip: You can freely choose which gate to enter from in the ancient city. If you are like me, you may wish to enter from the south gate. Because the South Gate of Dali is close to the Dali Visitor Center, there is congestion most of the time. Please take a taxi to the nearby area and try to consider walking for a while.
[Xizhou, I love that touch of marble blue the most]
Coincidentally, I didn't climb Cangshan the last time I went to Dali, but I climbed it twice this time. The last time I came to Dali, I couldn't come to Xizhou around the Erhai Lake, but this time, I was also lucky enough to visit Xizhou Ancient Town twice. It was as if everything was to make up for the regret last time.
It is said that the beauty of indifference will be known only after prosperity, which is vividly reflected in Xizhou Ancient Town. This ancient town is not as noisy as the ancient city, but it can be seen from countless old houses in the Ming and Qing Dynasties everywhere. The highlight of Xizhou may not be the sea view, but the beautiful mansion and pastoral scenery. There are four major families and twelve small families in the ancient town, with a total of 24 famous businesses. These all emerged during the Republic of China. The commercial gang in Xizhou was one of the three major commercial gangs in Yunnan Province at that time that held the right to import and export trade in western Yunnan. It can be seen how rich the party was at that time. Most wealthy people build houses first after becoming rich, which is why Xizhou Ancient Town has deep courtyards of the four major families.
Today, we are actually just checking out those deep courtyards. If you are a photography enthusiast, I highly recommend you to come to Xizhou for a visit. You will definitely gain a lot. In the end, I didn't walk into any of the courtyards of the four major families. It seems that this has given me another reason to come to Dali next time. Today, we walked into two traditional crafts and cultures in the ancient town of Xizhou with Dali Power Hilton Hotel. One is Jiama, and the other is the unforgettable touch of Dali blue. In Xizhou, you can see the touch of blue everywhere. This blue is not the sky blue and sea blue as I mentioned at the beginning, but the blue of Dali tie-dyed.
Let's talk about Jiama prints first. Jiama, also known as paper horse or Jiama paper, is actually related to folk sacrifices. The ancients used coins and horses for sacrifice. Later, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty began to use paper horses as objects to sacrifice to ghosts and gods. Many people who study folk art in Yunnan will call this kind of printmaking "Jia Ma Paper", or Jia Ma for short. Most of these prints were originally collected in Baoshan, Tengchong, Dali and other places, which gave them their names directly.
Today, we walked into Xizhou, and the traditional Jiama culture is hidden in the courtyard of this ancient town. We were very fortunate to walk into the courtyard and also walked into the Jiama culture. We not only learned the origin of Jiama, but also personally tried to print a "joy" and take it home.
Under the guidance of my teacher, I successfully completed my Jiama work. This god of heavenly joy also means that "all joy will accompany my life." The process of printing and developing black and white prints is not complicated, but it requires careful care to make the prints are superb. These prints are all personally carved by the owner of the shop and are also descendants of Jiama. However, the teacher was not in the shop that day, so he couldn't meet him. Is this giving him another reason to come again next time?
Walking along the road to the end of the ancient town, um, I feel like seeing a sky. This is the online celebrity check-in spot for Xizhou Ancient Town. Many newlyweds come here to take wedding photos. Walking forward, my vision suddenly widened. I was so lucky that I came to Dali in autumn and saw the autumn colors of Xizhou. The golden fields, blue sky, dark green tiles, and white walls seem to be an autumn ink painting. Once again, I really love Bai architecture. Even if the mansion in the Ming and Qing Dynasties has long lost its beauty, as long as the big walls are still there, as long as the patterns and patterns on the walls are still there, they will be painted there, and there is no sense of disobedience.
On the way to find that touch of Dali blue, I ran into "Ji Yishi". I wonder if you can pronounce it correctly? I remember seeing this style inn in Huang Cheng's book. I still remember that the title at that time was: Understand it, you will be relieved. In other words, when I first saw the name of the inn, I was still a little stunned. I realized in two seconds, wasn't this the one that was "already there"! Sure enough, this is the predecessor of the Yang family compound. I heard that the Yang family was going to relocate, but they did not welcome the final relocation, but they became helpless to leave their homes and overseas. Alas, after watching the prosperity, I am filled with bitter tears. But now the owner of this inn we see with a bit of a clumsy pronunciation takes care of everything here very well. If you want to come to Xizhou to experience a B & B, haha, I am borrowing flowers and offering Buddha a gift. I recommend you choose his home. Although it is in the ancient town, you can get there by dragging your suitcase and taking a horse-drawn carriage. The main thing is, there are really stories here waiting for you to understand.
Finally, they came to Lan Xu. Finally came to my favorite blue side. Why can Dali blue be seen everywhere, and we have to go to Xizhou to learn tie-dyeing? Why do you say that you must choose blue renewal when you buy a good square scarf, scarf, decoration, etc. Maybe many people know Dali blue, but they don't know the story behind it. Lan Xu is the only brand in Dali that has been rated as an intangible cultural heritage. Today, there is a chain store, but the only store that has opened deep in the town of Dali's secret realm is the one in Xizhou Ancient Town. You must be right to come here to experience tie-dyeing.
It is said that the Bai village in Zhoucheng was originally just an ancient village on the ancient tea-horse road, but it became famous for its beautiful women and its tie-dyeing skills. However, for a long time, women who love beauty here have gone less and less to do plant dyeing, and more choose fast and low-cost chemical dyeing. Seeing that traditional crafts were about to disappear into ashes, a girl named Xiaobai resolutely quit her job in Beijing and returned to her hometown to open the Lanxu Green Cultural Development Center. From then on, tie-dyeing technology has returned to people's lives. You should know that the technology of tie-dyeing cannot be rushed, starting from planting isatis root, to making indigo, stereotypes, printing, tying flowers, desizing, aging and dyeing many times, to removing threads, drying, fixing, and rinsing... Every process needs to be meticulous. If you are impatient, mistakes will occur. This is like pursuing love and a happy life. You can't rush it. You can't eat hot tofu if you are impatient. The beautiful appearance of marble blue on this cloth requires careful polishing.
At Lanxu, I followed my master to learn the process of plant dyeing and the principles of various plant dyeing. In their hands, samu, isatis root, saffron, turmeric, gardenia... These seemingly inconspicuous plants created a colorful world in the dye vat. In their hands, the cloth is sewn, tied, or squeezed with tools, but the moment it is opened, it becomes all kinds of colors in your eyes. The charm of tie-dyeing lies in this process. It is like writing poetry on a white picture of life. It is beautiful and happy. Suddenly, a Hong Kong drama "Beautiful Affinity" flashed into my mind, which tells the story of life in dyeing cloth. In Lanxu, you will more or less be immersed in this rich blue.
"Dyeing water and clear light, whether it is thick or light, you can do it at will; cloth and silk are mixed in color, whether light or deep." Do you understand the story here?
Warm reminder: Xizhou is located on the west bank of Erhai Lake, so it is far away from the urban area and the ancient city. It is recommended to take a taxi, charter a car or drive by yourself. The play time is generally 4-5 hours.
[Eating in Dali, fragrant lips and teeth is the most pleasant thing about traveling]
As mentioned just now, Dali has too many delicacies. My favorites are crossing the bridge rice noodles, small pot rice noodles, local chicken rice noodles, and all kinds of rice noodles. You will never get tired of eating it.
Here, I recommend it to everyone who comes to Dali to try it. Jasmine egg cakes and watery poplar flowers. The name of the dish sounds a bit like that, but in fact, this kind of water dish only grows in water and has been changed by people. It tastes tender and delicious.
What you must eat when you come to Xizhou is Xizhou Baba. Xizhou Baba, which became famous because of "A Bite of China", reminds people of Xizhou. This is not just the hometown of "Five Golden Flowers". Oh, there are also four major families, twenty-four businesses, and Xizhou delicacies. For example, in Xizhou, you can eat pot collapse tofu and Jianshui stinky tofu, which gives you a unique taste. These tofu are my favorite. I don't know why Jianshui tofu can be made so delicious. This also aroused my curiosity and decided to go to Jianshui for a visit.
Dali, how can it be so beautiful?
