A spectacle lasting for a century: Four views and eight views of Jizu Mountain

COP15 has just come to an end. Have you been shocked by the true and illusory Yunnan "Beautiful Scenery" promotional video?

With the theme of "Code of Life", the promotional film tells the story of life that sprouted from the "ocean" hundreds of millions of years ago to the inaccessible alpine areas.

From the quiet tropical rainforest, to the calm plateau lakes, to the cold snow-capped mountains, across mountains and seas, Yunnan's secrets are shown to everyone one by one.

But in my opinion, the land of Yunnan not only tells the code of life, but also shows Yunnan's god-given natural scenery.

Do you think a short video of more than ten minutes can show the ultimate scenery of Yunnan?

No, don't worry, Yunnan's beauty is not limited to this!

If I divide the beauty of Yunnan, I can't finish it in three days and three nights.

So, without saying much, just go straight to the dry goods!

Jizu Mountain, located in Binchuan, is definitely second to none in Yunnan. The ancients once summarized its characteristics with "one bird, two teas, three dragons, four views, five sequins, six treasures, seven beasts, and eight landscapes".

Let's go directly to the theme "Four Views and Eight Scenes of Jizu Mountain in Binchuan, Dali". This is the unique style that Jizu Mountain leaves to everyone. This is not a simple Four Views and Eight Scenes, but a natural wonder that has lasted for a hundred years.

As for "a bird... Sanlong... It would be more interesting to go to Jizu Mountain in person to find the answer to what the "Seven Beasts" are.

"Xu Xiake's Travels", the oldest and longest travel notes in China, once described in detail "Four Views and Eight Scenes of Jizu Mountain", so it is indeed very accurate to say that it is a natural wonder that has lasted for a century.

The four views and eight views of Jizu Mountain appear at a specific time, under specific conditions, and in a specific location, as if it were a romantic agreement between nature and man.

The four views and eight views of Jizu Mountain in Binchuan are: the four views are the sunrise in the east, the Erhai Lake in the west, the colorful clouds in the south, and the jade dragon in the north; the eight views are the Buddha light of Tianzhu, the clear thunder of the Chinese head, the haze of Erhai Lake, the snow on Cangshan, the pine waves on thousands of valleys, the flying waterfalls penetrating the clouds, the sunset on heavy cliffs, and the autumn moon in the pagoda courtyard.

Four Views: Meeting "you" every year

The four views of Jizu Mountain are the romantic encounters and appointments between man and nature that have remained unchanged for thousands of years!

The best place to view the four views of Jizu Mountain is Jinding Temple, the highest point of Jizu Mountain. Jinding Temple, located at the highest point, has an open view, more than ten kilometers per eye.

Dongguan sunrise is the king of the four views. Winter morning is the best season to watch the rising sun, because this season the water vapor decreases and visibility increases.

In the early morning of winter, the stars and stars in the sky gradually dimmed, and the eastern sky gradually turned white, with a touch of orange attached to the newly yellowed skyline.

As time went by, in a few minutes, the orange-red sun jumped out of the skyline, and the dazzling light instantly covered the entire plane. Like a rolling sea of clouds, the sea of clouds changed into a dazzling orange-red color in a few seconds.

The light of the rising sun is like an arrow carrying tens of thousands of forces, flying straight towards everyone, and a huge spark burst into my heart in an instant.

The ruddy brilliance of the rising sun makes people unable to open their eyes and react, but by the time they react, the earth has begun to recover, ushering in a new day in the morning light...

The best seasons for Xiguan Yincang Yuer are still winter and spring, because in these two seasons, snow will appear on the top of Cangshan Mountain.

Looking west from Jinding Temple, you can see the pearl of the plateau-Erhai Lake. It spans the mountains and valleys, shining with silver waves, as if pearls were jumping on the water.

Where the water and mountains are connected, you will find that the 19 peaks of Cangshan are neatly arranged, and the pure white Cangshan snow on the top of the mountain turns into a more noble silver under the sunshine.

The mountains and the sea echo each other, the mountains are majestic, and the water is soft and charming. This is a peerless beautiful picture that cannot be drawn!

The best time to view the colorful clouds in the south is when the sunset is about to set in the evening, and try to choose a time when the clouds gather most densely.

Standing at Jinding Temple and looking south, you can see the mountains of the mountains surrounded by clouds and mist, or scattered one after another, swimming in the blue sky and transforming into various shapes.

The afterglow of the setting sun was scattered among the light and casually floating clouds, bursting with colorful brilliance in an instant!

Looking at the Yulong in the north is the same as looking at the Yincang Jade 'er in the west. Although it is also a mountain view, the best viewing season is different. The Yulong refers to the "Yulong Snow Mountain". Snow does not melt on the top of its mountain all year round, so you can watch it all year round.

Looking north from Jinding Temple, the snowy mountains that stretch for dozens of miles are like long stretches, crystal clear as jade, white and spotless.

Eight Scenes: "You" and I all need fate when we meet

The Eight Scenes of Jizu Mountain are unique landscapes that appear in different seasons and moments.

Every summer and autumn rainy season, the strong winds and storms suddenly stop, and the surrounding mountains are still in the clouds and mist. Only a part of the clouds above Jinding Temple have dissipated and the sun reappeared. At this time, a colorful circle of light surrounds Jinding Temple. This is one of the eight scenic spots."Tianzhu Buddha Light".

It is also the rainy season in summer and autumn, and Jizu Mountain is windy from time to time, with thunderous thunder and lightning bursts. The rain in the valley is pouring like pouring rain. However, the Huashou Gate under the Shishen Cliff at the foot of Tianzhu Peak is still sunny and the thunder is echoing here. For a long time, this is the famous "Huashou Qinglei".

The snow on Cangshan Mountain and the return of Erhai Lake are exactly "the silver and jade in the west". The Cangshan Mountain is vast and vast, and the Erhai Lake is vast and calm. Such a unique scenery is definitely worthy of being listed in the "Four Views and Eight Scenery".

The most abundant trees on Jizu Mountain are "pine and oak". These trees gather to form a forest of forests, so the "Wanjiang Pines", one of the eight scenic spots, is related to the forest of forests.

Whether you look far or near, the "forest sea" on Jizu Mountain stretches for dozens of miles. From the top of the mountain to the valley, the pine shadows are shaded. The forest ravines are deep and lush. The breeze and strong wind blow by, and the leaves vibrate, playing like ten thousand horses galloping. It is interesting to sit in the mountain and listen quietly.

If there is a "flying waterfall piercing the clouds" on Jizu Mountain, then it must be the "Yulong Waterfall".

It is still summer and autumn, and mountain spring water jumps down from the canyons. From a distance, it looks like a white line hanging in a green forest. If you can encounter fog and gather into flowing clouds in the mountains, then the scene of the waterfall passing through the flowing clouds this time is "Flying waterfalls penetrate the clouds."

Heavy Cliff Sunset refers to the magnificent scene where whenever the sun sets in the west, from Luohan Wall to Jiuchong Cliff, more than twenty miles of cliffs are "dyed red" by the sunset, like a red wall.

At dusk, the sun sets in the west. The corner of the sunset is blocked by Tianzhu Peak, and other temples are eclipsed. Only Jiuchong Cliff and Luohan Wall enjoy the afterglow. Light and shadow are intertwined, making it a natural grandeur.

The autumn moon in the Tayuan is related to both the tower and the moon, so this scene only appears on the 16th of the eighth month of the lunar calendar. On a clear night every year, as long as you stand in front of the White Pagoda in the Baita Temple on the mountainside, you will find the bright moon. In the sky, the white pagoda is bathed in the clear brilliance of the moon, but there is no trace of the white pagoda.

The white pagoda, the full moon and the Shangyan Pagoda are connected in a line, and the full moon and the clear tower are clear. This is one of the eight scenic spots in Jizu Mountain, the "Tayuan Autumn Moon"!
