One characteristic of visiting Dali is that all sightseeing routes are basically carried out around mountains and rivers.
On Cangshan Mountain, there is a number one hiking route in Dali. It is the number one among all hiking routes and is called "Jade Belt Yunyou Road".
Its appearance interprets Cangshan's alternative gameplay-a one-day trip to the mountainside, which allows us to discover that Cangshan can not only "travel vertically" but also "travel horizontally".
Yudai Yunyou Road is located halfway up Cangshan Mountain. The road is 2 meters wide and 11.5 kilometers long. It is a flat bluestone path starting from Qingbi River in the south and ending at Zhonghe Temple in the north. You can reach Yundai Yunyou Road from the foot of the mountain by walking, riding and cableway. Starting point.
Among the three methods, taking the cableway is the most comfortable one and the most unique one. The three cableways can reach and descend the mountain. They are the Gantong cableway at the starting point, the Cangshan Ximatan Grand Cableway at the middle point and the final point. Zhonghe cableway.
The starting point, middle point and ending point of the three cableways can be used as the starting point or ending point for hiking.
If the scenery on the top of Cangshan Mountain is magnificent, then the scenery on the mountainside is quiet and elegant. The view on the mountainside is not so wide, but the scenery here has its own characteristics and is not inferior to the top of the mountain.
"Crossing the forest, crossing the secluded valley, crossing the clear stream, listening to the sound of birds, and appreciating the mountains" is the essence of the tour on the Yudai Yunyou Road, and it is also the best way to get to know Cangshan and enter the depths of Cangshan Mountain.
An alternative way to play Cangshan-a one-day trip to the mountainside starts from the Yudai Yunyou Road!
warm reminder1. Yudai Yunyou Road is located on the mountainside of Cangshan Mountain. The 11.5-kilometer hiking route has three supply stations (Qingbixi, Qilongnongchi, and Zhonghe Temple). The hiking time is long, so please bring your own food before you set out. Can quickly replenish energy food.
2. The climate in Cangshan is complex, with different days in three miles. Please prepare rain gear, warm clothing, etc. in advance.
3. Cangshan is high and dense with forests. For safety reasons, it is forbidden to enter undeveloped places during hiking.
4. The opening hours of the three cableways are basically 9:00 a.m. and the closing time is 16:00 p.m., so please pay attention to the cableway shutdown time during the game.
5. The entire play time is about 6 hours. (Different from person to person)
hiking routeYudai Yunyou Road has half and full routes. There are two full routes: the first route runs from Qingbixi to Zhonghe Temple; the second route runs from Zhonghe Temple to Qingbixi.
There are four half-way routes: the first one goes from Qingbi River to Qilongnu Chi, the second goes from Qilongnu Chi to Qingbi River; the third goes from Qilongnu Chi to Zhonghe Temple; the fourth goes from Zhonghe Temple to Qilongnu Chi.
The entire route includes four attractions: from south to north, Qingbi River, Qilongnu Pond, Fengyan Cave, and Zhonghe Temple. You can see two attractions on each half-way route.
Whether it is halfway or the full route, you can see Cangshan Mountains and valleys, forest seas, clear streams, and wilderness in different locations.
Hiking on Yunyou Road in YudaiAt 9:00 in the morning, the Gantong cableway takes the cableway to Qingbi River. In the morning, the Gantong cableway is peaceful, and tourists line up in an orderly manner to take the cableway.
When the cableway is away from the exit and gradually rises, the continuous forest of Cangshan Mountain appears in front of you, and then gradually under your feet. The appearance of the Erhai Lake gradually becomes clear. Looking forward, it is the continuous green of one mountain after another, and looking back, it is the mini building at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and the Erhai Lake.
When the cableway crosses the dense and opaque forest and sails from high to low, you can see a deep canyon in the distance. There is a small house looming on the edge of the cliff of the canyon, which is the end of the cableway.
After getting off the cableway and entering the mountains, the rolling cool and tranquil moments surrounded people and made people feel happy. With this feeling, I began to tour the mountains and went to the bottom of the valley to have a look at the long-standing Cangshan Gorge and Clear Creek, go to see the most famous Qingbi Creek among the eighteen streams of Cangshan Mountain.
The bottom of Cangshan Mountain is really amazing. The Cangshan Canyon is deep and mysterious, and the stream is very unique. The stream is running around in the dark stone crevices, making the stream pure and flawless, just like an innocent girl playing in the mountains and forests.
Qingbi River is a mountain creek, but three ponds of water are formed in three different locations.
Shangtan is located in Cangshan Canyon, and its biggest feature is its mystery. A pool is under the cliff, forming a waterfall on the cliff. The biggest feature is its wonder. The last pool is located at a slightly gentle position between the two cliffs, forming the largest spring pool. Its biggest feature is clear water.
The three ponds of water give people different feelings. If Qingbixi is compared to the three sisters, one of them is lively and lovely, the other is gentle and quiet, and the other combines the characteristics of the first two.
Climb up the winding path in the mountains and reach a gentle area. A winding bluestone path leading to the distance appears in front of you. It is the jade belt cloud travel.
Take a rest at the intersection and start the hiking journey on Yudai Yunyou Road!
Walking on the jade belt and cloud travel road, the difficulty of climbing the mountain disappeared without a trace. There are tall trees on both sides of the bluestone road. People feel very comfortable walking under the trees. At first, it was a dense forest. I don't know when, the dense forest disappeared, and the line of sight is no longer blocked. You can see the scenery below the mountain through the gap between mountains.
At this time, the gray-brown rock wall of Cangshan appeared in front of you, and you realized that the Jade Belt Road was a bluestone path cut in the rock wall. On one side was a 100-meter deep valley from the cliff, and on the other side was a hard rock wall.
There are tenaciously growing rhododendrons in the cracks on the edge of the cliff. The stream is flowing at the bottom of the cliff. On the edge of the cliff is a pavilion for hikers to rest.
Looking up into the distance, you can clearly see the tough ridge of Cangshan Mountain not far away. At this time, Cangshan Mountain seems to have peeled off its flesh and skin, showing a bony feeling. Such a scenery I have never seen before.
Hike all the way to Qilongnongchi Station, rest here for a while, replenish some energy, and start the tour of Qilongnongchi again.
Qilongnu Pond is seven spring ponds formed by streams flowing in the mountains. Each spring pond has its own advantages and characteristics. Yilongchi is close to the intersection, and Qilongchi is deep in the mountains.
Each spring pool is not far away, and each spring pool has a guiding arrow, which you can see along the sign. The closer you get to the Qilongnu Pond, the better the scenery, especially the Wulong Pond, the Liulong Pond, and the Qilongchi.
The spring pool is both integrated and independent with the surrounding environment. It can be appreciated independently or integrated with the surrounding environment. This feeling is contradictory and surprising.
After swimming in Qilongnu Pond, we set foot on Yudai Road and began hiking. The viewing view in the second half is wider than that in the first half. At the beginning, we also walked through the dense forest and passed by Fengyan Cave to reach the Yudai Cloud Tour Road. The best viewing platform on the road.
This viewing platform can see the vast Dali wilderness, you can see Erhai Lake lying quietly in the dam, and you can also see Chongsheng Temple, the most colorful among the buildings at the foot of the mountain.
Arriving here, we have already passed 80% of the journey on Yudai Yunyou Road. If we continue to walk forward, we will reach Zhonghe Temple.
Zhonghe Temple is not big, but it is full of traces of time unmatched in other places. When you get close to the temple, you will feel a sense of awe, and this feeling is even more serious when you walk into the temple.
Zhonghe Temple is a Taoist temple and a famous temple. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and renovated many times in the Qing Dynasty. It has been preserved to this day.
Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty once wrote a plaque reading "Yunnan Clouds Arch Pole" for Zhonghe Temple. Zhou Ren, a native of Yi, wrote a stone couplet. During the Guangxu period, Zhou Xia wrote a plaque reading "Mountain and Sea Grand View" for the temple. In the 8th year of the Republic of China, Yuan Jiagu, the No. 1 champion of Yunnan, and Li Genyuan, a literati, carved the words "Zhonghe Weiyu" and "Majestic Pai Jie" on the stone carvings behind the temple.
Zhonghe Temple is the venue of the Dali ethnic minority festival "Shanhua Festival". Every year on the ninth day of the first lunar month, local people in Dali come here to play and worship Buddha. It is very lively.
Arriving at the Zhonghe Cableway and taking the open-air two-person cableway, the journey on Yudai Yunyou Road comes to an end.
Starting from Qingbixi to Zhonghe Temple, the 11.5-kilometer journey allowed people to re-recognize Cangshan. This journey also fully demonstrated the excitement of hiking!
