Schedule:
DAY1: Shanghai-Dali-Hotel
DAY2: Erhai Lake
DAY3: Dali Ancient City-Xizhou Ancient Town-Three Towers Reflection Park
DAY4: Return trip
All the strategies before departure have been prepared. We first took a plane from Shanghai and arrived at Dali Airport in the afternoon. The hotel I booked online is Beautiful Meet·Mengdie Village. The hotel has the special service of "one room, one car, one housekeeper". Each room will have a personal housekeeper and a special car. Not only is the pick-up service free, but also the car is free within a radius of 30 kilometers of the hotel. Before coming here, the housekeeper contacted me and confirmed the flight time and landing time with me. When I walked out of the airport, I saw the housekeeper waiting for me. When the housekeeper saw me, he helped me put my luggage in the trunk, and then we went all the way back to the hotel.
On the way from the airport to the hotel, looking at the endless stream of passengers and the rushing scenery outside, I couldn't help but shout in my heart, Dali, I'm here!
As the vehicle slowly drove in the direction of the Beautiful Meet·Mengdiezhuang Hotel, the exterior of the hotel gradually appeared in front of your eyes.
The hotel is more like a private mansion in ancient times. The top of the Chinese-style corridor is a high spire, and the plaque under the eaves reads "Mengdie Village". The writing is strong and powerful. The hotel door alone makes me look forward to my next stay.
Beautiful Meet·Mengdie Village is divided into two parks, Cangshan Garden and Erhai Garden. I live in the Cangshan Garden·Private Pavilion Garden Queen Room. There is also a small wooden pavilion outside the room. When sitting in the pavilion and resting, you can not only see the small bridge and flowing water in the yard downstairs, but also see the Cangshan scenery in the distance. The interior of the room is also decorated with antique design, with white gauze curtains, wood-pattern ceilings, and wooden decorations. The overall combination gives people a warm feeling. The bathroom in the room also has a bathtub. You can take a bath in the bathtub after coming back from play. It is a blessing for a bathing person like me.
After putting away my luggage, the housekeeper knocked on the door and brought me welcome fruits. Then I discussed my itinerary for the next few days. I like this very much. Moreover, the housekeeper is a local. When I guide which routes are inconvenient or which are not planned well, he will always give me his improvement suggestions for consideration, which is very considerate.
Today, I came to Dali for the first day and I was tired from the journey. I proposed not to go out to play today, so I asked the housekeeper to take me around the hotel to enjoy the scenery inside the hotel. The housekeeper readily agreed. The environment in the hotel is very good, with retro blue bricks and white walls everywhere, and lush green plants around the path. The environment is beautiful and everything is full of greenery.
The first day I came to Dali passed through a leisurely tour of the hotel. I lay in bed early after taking a bath at night, looking forward to experiencing the local customs and customs of Dali firsthand the next day.
Today is the second day I came to Dali. The first stop is naturally the most famous Erhai Lake.
After having breakfast at the hotel early in the morning, I went to Erhai Lake with the housekeeper. When the housekeeper and I arrived at the Erhai Lake, there were not many people, so we could find a better location to watch the sea. Although Erhai Lake is called the sea, it is actually a lake with clear and transparent water. Standing on the edge of the Erhai Lake, looking at the water and sky, seagulls flying freely on the lake. Looking at everything in front of me, it seemed that the fatigue from work in the past few days had suddenly dissipated, and I couldn't help but feel calm. Maybe this is the charm of the Erhai Lake.
On the third day, the housekeeper and I decided to go to the ancient city of Dali first. The hotel is located at the north gate of the ancient city of Dali. It is about 500 meters away to the ancient city of Dali, which is very convenient. The ancient city of Dali was established in the Ming Dynasty, and many ancient buildings remain intact. There are many places to visit in the ancient city. From Renmin Road, Bar Street to Foreign Street, there are a dazzling array of shops along the way. The aroma of snacks can be smelled across the street. There are also many craftsmen and wandering singers gathered here, and you can often have unexpected adventures and surprises. You don't have to follow the steps and follow your heart to feel the slow pace of the city.
After visiting the ancient city of Dali, the housekeeper and I went to Xizhou Ancient Town. Compared with the hustle and bustle of the ancient city of Dali, Xizhou Ancient Town is more comfortable and tranquil. There are many literary and artistic shops in the ancient town. The day when the housekeeper and I arrived was market day. There were many villagers coming to the market from all over the country on the street. What a lively picture of life. I also tasted the Yunnan specialty snack here-Xizhou Baba. The taste was quite delicious. I heard that this snack was even published on "A Bite of China".
After visiting the ancient town of Xizhou, the housekeeper and I decided to visit the Three Towers of Dali near the hotel. Hearing from the housekeeper that it only took about five minutes to get to the Dali Three Towers from the hotel, we decided to go back to the hotel to store the gadgets we bought in Xizhou Ancient Town, and then walk there together. The Three Pagodas of Dali, whose real name is the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, are located under Yingle Peak in the northwest corner of the ancient city of Dali and stand tall in front of the large-scale Chongsheng Temple. Looking up, you can see the three white towers standing at the foot of Cangshan Mountain from afar. Against the majestic Cangshan Mountain, the three towers look slender and exquisite. When I stood in front of the three towers, I felt more of the majestic momentum of the three towers in addition to their handsome appearance.
On the last day, I was ready to return home. After washing up early at the hotel, the housekeeper sent me to the airport and said goodbye to me. This trip to Dali ended perfectly. I sincerely thank the housekeeper for meeting Meili·Mengdiezhuang, which gave me such a pleasant vacation. Dali is really a beautiful place. The pace is very slow. Even if I am in a daze, I feel very good. I look forward to seeing you next time!
