Dali, a place that is full of romance just by hearing its name.
When I first met Dali a few years ago, I met my husband. Traveling alone, I wanted to take a photo at the south gate of the ancient city of Dali. I found him who was also alone. In the later conversation, we found out that we were fellow villagers. In this way, we had many common hobbies, and gradually got acquainted with each other, and finally got married. This year, we celebrated our third wedding anniversary. My husband suggested that we should go to Dali to have a look. Let's experience the changes in Dali together. I also think this proposal is a good one, and the two hit it off! Dali, we are back!
My husband made a reservation online early. It is near the ancient city of Dali. It is a quiet hotel in the hustle and bustle. The name of the hotel is also very poetic-Beautiful Meet·Mengdiezhuang Hotel. The hotel provides pick-up service, as well as the unique "one room, one car, one housekeeper" service. Each room will also provide a personal housekeeper and a special car. The special car can also be used for free within a 30-kilometer radius of the hotel. The hotel's service is really So thoughtful, this is a huge benefit for the guests!
The dutiful housekeeper drove to the airport early to wait. We could get on the bus and return to the hotel after we got out of the airport, saving time, effort and convenience!
Judging from the appearance of the hotel, the word "antique" is enough to describe it. The retro courtyard building, decorated with blue bricks and white tiles, highlights the intention of the hotel when it was built. There is a path at the gate, which is in the shape of a pointed wooden cabin. There are carvings under the wooden pillars. Walking on the path has a special sense of ceremony. Under the guidance of the housekeeper, the young lady at the front desk quickly helped us complete the check-in procedures.
We stayed in the Cangshan Garden·Private Pavilion Garden Queen Room. The spacious floor-to-ceiling windows allowed us to have a panoramic view of the outdoor courtyard while lying in bed. Connected to the room is a small pavilion made of wood with a small table inside. My husband and I drank tea there and looked at the beautiful scenery. Life should be so relaxed!
There is also a large bathtub in the room with a marble tiled surface next to it, giving a simple and translucent feeling. Put in the hot water and lie in it and take a comfortable bath. This is what my ideal hotel looks like!
After putting away our luggage, the housekeeper brought us fruits and then talked with us about the travel arrangements for the past few days. When we booked the hotel and called for consultation, the staff told us that the hotel provided private customized services. We told them the story of our meeting in Dali, hoping that they could help us plan the route and spend this special wedding anniversary.
How could we miss afternoon tea on a sunny afternoon? Unable to sit still in the guest room, we strolled to the hotel restaurant. The coffee, snacks, and books that were standard for afternoon tea were all here. We spent a leisurely afternoon by blowing the wind in the yard, looking at the scenery, and enjoying a cup of strong coffee.
The ancient city of Dali was the first tourist attraction arranged by the housekeeper for us. This place full of our silly memories, we finally met again. The housekeeper took us to the hotel for about five minutes. The ancient city of Dali is still as lively as ever, full of fireworks, with ancient city walls, smooth stone roads, and shops along the street with a wide array of handicrafts. The shops in my memory are no longer there., a little sentimental, but the charm of this thousand-year-old city is still worth exploring.
The South Gate has become deeper after years of polishing. Visiting the old place again, the two people I met here before have changed from strangers to family members. Some coincidences in life are really wonderful!
After coming out of the ancient city of Dali, the housekeeper took us to Erhai Lake. The Erhai Lake has always been a regret during my last trip to Dali. The originally planned trip that year was disrupted by a sudden storm, and this sea has also been put aside in my heart for a long time. Under the blue sky, clear sea water, there are flying seagulls on the sea. Above the vast sea in the distance, there are large groups of white clouds in the sky. The sea and sky are in the same color, and the mountains and rivers blend together, which is best interpreted in the Erhai Lake.
Xizhou Ancient Town is a peaceful and leisurely Bai town. The buildings inside are all unique blue tiles and white walls of the Bai people. We walked to Sifang Street and heard the housekeeper introduce that it was the center of the town. There were many shops on Sifang Street, tie-dye, handicrafts, specialty snacks... My husband and I excitedly picked out souvenirs. There were many beautiful things we had never seen before. I bought the famous Xizhou Baba. The freshly baked Baba has a strong aroma. It will be crispy and smooth when bitten down.
The most beautiful road is also the highlight of this trip. I heard from the housekeeper that it is very nice to take photos on this road. As for how could I miss such a check-in point because I couldn't resist the beautiful photos, I decisively decided to go to this place to take photos! The "most beautiful road" is indeed worthy of its reputation. In addition to the long road, you can also take pictures of the Erhai Lake in the distance when taking photos, thus giving birth to a beautiful photo that combines emotion and scenery.
When I have nothing to do, I always feel that not taking photos is a waste of the beautiful scenery in the hotel. I put on the cheongsam I brought specially, and my husband also brought his camera. The two of them "Kacha" and "Kacha" in the courtyard with small bridges and flowing water, and this beautiful group of elegant films of the Republic of China was photographed.
People are like rainbows, and you will know when you meet them. In Dali, I met my husband beside me. The historical and cultural heritage of the Bai people in Dali opened my eyes. The successful completion of this trip was also due to the private customized service of Beautiful Meet·Mengdiezhuang Hotel, which not only allowed me to make up for the regrets of my last trip, but also experienced the different beauty of Dali. I am very lucky to have this anniversary trip, and I believe that we will continue to walk more firmly in the future!
