Tour time: noon on December 21-noon on December 22, 2019
* Solemn declaration: People who don't understand Dali are often confused by the word "Dali" that often appears in the strategy and don't know what the word "Dali" represents. Let me first clarify to you that what we usually say about "traveling to Dali" refers to "Dali Ancient Town" or "Dali Ancient City". The ancient city of Dali is located in Dali City in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, which is equivalent to the suburb of Dali City. For some reason, the state, city and ancient city here are all called Dali, which will cause chaos for everyone.
* Dali is a "Buddhist Country". There are many temples scattered in the mountains of Dali. It is a good place to worship Buddha and visit historical sites. For example, Wuwei Temple and Santa Temple near the ancient city of Dali. In particular, Jizu Mountain is Foshan, second only to the four famous Buddhist mountains.
* Transportation: The specific location of Jizu Mountain can be found in Baidu, so I won't say much. There are buses to Jizu Mountain Scenic Area at Dali Bus Station near Dali Railway Station. The few trains are in the morning, and you can reach the foot of Jizu Mountain in about an hour. The bus can go halfway up the mountain, but you have to buy tickets at the entrance of the scenic spot at the foot of the mountain, and then go up the mountain. The ticket office has manual and self-service ticket sales. If you want to take a bus to the halfway up the mountain, you can't visit the temples between the foot of the mountain and halfway up the mountain, but there don't seem to be many. It takes about 30 minutes for the bus to reach halfway up the mountain. There is a parking lot halfway up the mountain, where all buses stop. There are also 2 or 3 temples around, the most famous one is Zhusheng Temple, next to the parking lot. There is also Xianghui Street, which consists of several inns with integrated accommodation and accommodation. It is also near the parking lot and is a few steps away. The latest departure time for buses from Jizushan to Dali Airport, Railway Station and Bus Station is 2 p.m. every day, and they leave when full passengers are available. So when you come by car, you need to ask the driver for your mobile phone number at any time.
* Accommodation: The hotel I booked on Ctrip is the first old shop in Jizu Mountain, Binchuan, on Xianghui Street, Zhusheng Temple, halfway up the mountain of Jizu Mountain Scenic Area. A single room is 97 yuan per night. The conditions are very ordinary, with no air conditioning in the partitioned room. But the rice noodles made by the boss are really, very delicious.
There are only a dozen inns on Xianghui Street, all of which are integrated with accommodation, and there is also a grocery store where you can buy limited snacks and drinks. In addition, all the large temples here can place orders for meals. I know Zhusheng Temple and Jinding Temple can place orders for meals. The number for Zhusheng Temple to place orders for meals is 0872-7350093. Zhusheng Temple Suzhai is 15 yuan, only breakfast and accommodation are available, and Jinding Temple Suzhai is 10 yuan. Relatively speaking, Zhusheng Temple is more delicious.
* Transportation on the mountain: Halfway up the mountain is the watershed of transportation in Jizu Mountain. Outside buses only come here. You can walk up the mountain from here, or you can take a sightseeing bus to change to a cable car to reach the top of the mountain. There are special hiking steps for hiking, and you can also ride up the mountain, but I don't know whether you can reach the top of the mountain. The sightseeing bus can be exchanged for a cable car to go directly to Jinding Temple, but there is no way to go to the temple halfway through.
* Temples and attractions: Due to time reasons, I only visited a few temples, which is a bit regrettable.
The most popular place here should be Jinding Temple on the top of the mountain. It can be directly connected by sightseeing buses and cable cars, and it takes about 30 minutes to get there. You can overlook the mountains from Jinding Temple, as well as Cangshan, Erhai, and snowy mountains. Jinding Temple is not big, and you can worship in several halls in about 30 minutes. There are many restaurants and shops in front of Jinding Temple, and the prices are higher. Don't rush, you can walk down from Jinding Temple, so that you can visit all the temples halfway through.
Among the several temples halfway up the mountain, the largest is Zhusheng Temple, which feels a little smaller than Jinding Temple, but the main hall is also resplendent, where you can see monkeys up close. There are also Muni 'an, Wuhua' an, etc. nearby. Just a word of warning, there is also a waterfall halfway up the mountain. It is too small to be worth walking.
There is also a Wanshou Temple near the stop of the sightseeing bus halfway up the mountain. When I went in to pay homage, I had a few words with the young master who took care of the main hall. This was the most valuable place for my trip!
In addition, it needs to be mentioned that there are many monkeys in Jizu Mountain. It is unclear what kind of monkeys they are, but they are a bit like golden monkeys. There are the most on the bridge next to the gate of Zhusheng Temple. They are not afraid of people, so you can observe and take photos up close.
