Since June, the blue skies in most parts of Yunnan have been replaced by low and thick clouds. All Yunnan people know this means that "the Yunnan rainy season is here!"
In the impression of most Yunnan people, the rainy season is equal to wild fungi, because sufficient rain nourishes the most precious ingredients in nature. A few people also know that the rainy season is the appointed time for mountains and rhododendrons.
There is a strange phenomenon in Yunnan."alpine rhododendrons" can be found in almost all tall mountains, and there are quite a number of rhododendrons.
The flowering time of alpine rhododendrons in Yunnan seems to be unpredictable. It blooms in the spring of March and April, and in the summer of June and July.
Azaleas are distributed from mountains with an altitude of more than 2000 meters to snow-capped mountains with an altitude of 4000 meters, which greatly meets the needs of Yunnan people to see flowers.
For some unknown reason, the alpine rhododendrons in Yunnan bloom particularly late. This year enters July, and the rhododendrons on the mountains begin to bloom sporadically...
Azaleas have quietly bloomed on Jizu Mountain in Binchuan, Dali, and accidentally bloomed all over Jizu Mountain, covering the Rhododendron Corridor.
As a famous historical and cultural mountain in Yunnan, Jizu Mountain may make people feel distant, but Jizu Mountain decorated with azaleas will allow you to re-recognize this mountain.
Start the flower viewing mode, climb Jizu Mountain again, and take a look at the dreamy and beautiful Rhododendron Corridor.
Jizu Mountain is the mountain with the largest number of ancient temples in Yunnan. From the gate gate to the top of the mountain, there are dozens of ancient temple relics and restored ancient temples. During the peak of Jizu Mountain, there were a total of 108 ancient temples. The earliest ancient temple construction dates back to the Yuan Dynasty.

The ancient temples on Jizu Mountain are distributed in dots and are very regular, while the distribution of rhododendrons is irregular. They are distributed everywhere, but the largest number is the "Rhododendron Corridor".
The Jizu Mountain Azalea Corridor is located to the southeast of the Shangyan Tower on the top of the mountain, echoing the Shangyan Tower and Jinding Temple. When the azalea bloom, the scene of "mountain flowers reflecting the ancient tower" will appear in some locations.
In the rainy season, the Rhododendron Corridor is as plain as the rhododendrons have not bloomed. Once it blooms, the "Rhododendron Corridor" that stretches for several kilometers is a beautiful avenue of flowers.
This year, the rhododendrons in Jizu Mountain bloom in the rainy month of July. In Jizu Mountain during the rainy season, whether it is between the mountains or on the top of the mountain, the unpredictable weather is the biggest feature of this season. Showers in the mountains come whenever they say, and the clouds disperse.
In the rainy season, Jizu Mountain is like other mountain ranges in Yunnan. The fog is scattered in the mountains. The humidity is very high and the visibility is low. Walking through the mountains to find rhododendrons at this time is like searching for treasure in a fairyland. I wonder what kind of scenery you will encounter in the next second., can you meet rhododendrons?
Clusters of passion are like fire, each tree is colorful, and each tree is as bright as clouds. This is the most eye-catching color in Jizu Mountain this season.
From the mountainside to the top of the mountain, rhododendrons of various colors complement each other, white as snow, pink as dusk, and red as fire. This is a color that cannot be adjusted by industrial pigments.
Jizu Mountain azalea flowers have different postures, with gorgeous colors, elegant and pure white, calm and low-key yellow, fresh and pleasant pink, and strong red. This is a chorus of flowers.
The rhododendrons in Jizu Mountain bloom both on steep slopes next to the rock wall and in the dense forest. The rhododendrons on the rock wall and the rhododendrons in the dense forest give people different feelings.
The rhododendrons on the rock wall seem to break out of steep cracks in the rocks, giving people a feeling of tenacity and pride. You can see their hard growth trajectory in front of each rhododendrons.
The rhododendrons in the dense forest are a little more fragile and agile than the rhododendrons on the cliffs. They are like mountain elves that cannot be found and always appear accidentally, adding infinite fun to the entire hiking journey. People are drunk with flowers.
At this time, we don't need to delve into who brought the rhododendrons to Jizu Mountain, because the rhododendrons are in full bloom in Jizu Mountain, Binchuan, ushering in the "Drunken Azalea Flower Season". We just need to follow the "Azalea News" with our eyes. Just see it!
Warm reminder: The Dujuan Promenade is located in a remote location. It is not recommended to go alone. Please visit in groups. Secondly, the temperature of Jizu Mountain changes greatly during the rainy season, so please bring your own rain gear to keep warm.
