During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the whole family came out for a wave. The route was Kunming-Dali-Lijiang-Dali-Kunming. However, before going out, they had cervical spondylosis, which caused difficulty in lowering their heads. After drinking red wine the day before going out, I had a stomach problem again. When I arrived in Lijiang, I had a cold and fever. The Mid-Autumn Festival turned into a Mid-Autumn Festival disaster. The whole road was drowsy and even eating several medicines turned into a big medicine jar. It was really terrible. As expected, getting older and your body is the most important asset! I'm off topic. Shibao Mountain to go to during the Mid-Autumn Festival is quite good. Let's talk about it
The scenery on the road is more beautiful than it looks photographed, and Dali in autumn makes people feel relaxed and happy.
The location of Shibao Mountain is quite good. It is not far on the route from Dali to Lijiang. If you want to go to Shaxi Ancient Town, you will also pass by Shibao Mountain from Dali Expressway to Shaxi. We originally planned to go to Shaxi Ancient Town, considering that there are not many projects to play in Shaxi Ancient Town, and we have to go to Lijiang that day, so we chose Shibao Mountain halfway. Shibao Mountain is a grotto + Baoxiang Temple together. As the name suggests, there are two places to visit. Let me talk about the advantages
Advantage 1: Shibao Mountain is a small mountain. Due to inconvenient transportation, very few people go there. We went there on the 19th holiday, but there were only six or seven small cars parked at the door. The shuttle bus that runs every 20 minutes inside was barely full, so there were really few people. The mountains inside are also small mountains. What's interesting is that it had just rained when I went there. There are all kinds of small mushrooms on the roadside, and there are many people who specialize in picking and harvesting mushrooms.
On the road to Shibao Mountain, a group of white-faced bulls walked out slowly and surrounded the car. Their curious big heads would stick out from time to time to look at you. It felt so interesting
The mountain gate has a profound sense of history at it, and just looking at the photos, I would think it was from the Anti-Japanese War.
There are all kinds of small mushrooms on the roadside, and there are probably more before you go inside. There are often some big mushrooms thrown by old ladies picking mushrooms on the roadside
I happened to meet a matsutake collector at the door. I bought half a kilogram of fresh matsutake. After washing it, I turned it into a snack and crispy. It was fragrant and crispy. It was so wonderful to think of throwing it into my mouth as soon as I took it out of the field! Unfortunately, my stomach is not working
Advantage 2: There are many monkeys, so Shibao Mountain might as well be called Monkey Mountain. Compared with Qianling Mountain in Guizhou, there are many monkeys here and it is more wild. In the parking lot at the gate, there are a group of mothers with little monkeys who enter the parking lot to feed. You can also see big monkeys threatening other monkeys in order to grab food. Traces of monkey poop can also be seen everywhere in the mountains, and there are also monkeys above Baoxiang Temple
Advantage 3: The grottoes are quite good. Although they are smaller in scale and scattered, children can still bring them to see and learn about knowledge when they grow up. There is also a grotto further away. If you have enough time to like the grotto, you should have no problem staying in Shaxi and playing for two days.
Advantage 4: Baoxiang Temple exceeded my imagination. It was built on a cliff and had a magnificent momentum. The middle of the rock wall was hollowed out and a Buddha statue was built. Water flew down from above the rock wall. The first reaction at that time was that this place had really good feng shui. Judging from the appearance of this temple, it must have been a temple with a lot of incense at that time. It feels much better than those temples and nunnery on Dali Mountain. The old people in the temple (looking at their clothes, they don't look formal, but they look like people working as a busboy) all look kind when they look at taking care of the children. Think about the master who ate vegetarian food in the nunnery in Dali. His face was full of anger... for the benevolence of the Buddha
Finally, this ticket is not expensive, but charging for a shuttle bus (it's a long round trip) is actually quite kind and worth a visit.
