Travel Tips

Yunnan Chapter (Dali-Lijiang-Shangri-La)

It is a place composed of multiple ethnic groups and multiple cultures and has rich tourism resources. There are many tourist routes in Yunnan. Dali:

The ancient city of Dali is located in the western part of Yunnan Province, also known as Ye Yucheng and Zicheng. The ancient city dates back to the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty and is also the capital of the mysterious Nanzhao State. Founded in 1382 in the 15th year of Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty, it was the political, economic and cultural center of Yunnan during the more than 500 years of history of the Tang and Song Dynasties. 1. Recommend the purchase method of Yulong Snow Mountain + large cableway. There are a total of three cableways in the snowy mountain, and only the large cableways can touch snow. You can buy tickets for the same day on the Yulong Snow Mountain public account, and remember to bring your ID card ~

2. Oxygen cylinders can be purchased online or in nearby supermarkets.

3. Remember to bring down jackets when you come to the snowy mountains. If you feel troublesome, you can rent them at the foot of the mountain.

4. Consult the official website customer service in advance, and enjoy discounted tickets for student ID cards and some certificates.

2. Bring medicine with you, be careful of altitude reactions, rest well and avoid strenuous activities.

Sichuan Chapter (Shangri-La-Daocheng Yading)

Because Shangri-La and Daocheng Aden are very close, we chose to directly cross from Shangri-La to Daocheng Aden in Sichuan. The two places are about 400 kilometers apart and it takes about eight or nine hours by car, but the scenery along the way is definitely worth it. Don't miss out on a self-driving tour ~

Daocheng Yading

Daocheng Aden, Tibetan means "the land of the sun". The three snow-capped mountains in the scenic area are: Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong, and Shanuo Duoji, collectively known as "Nianqing Gongga Risong Gongpo". They are the sacred mountains in the hearts of local Tibetans and also the guardians of the sacred mountains. In Tibetan Buddhism, it is also called translated as the "Three Sovereigns Snow Mountains". Snow-capped mountains, colorful forests, valleys and colorful lakes, this is a fairyland on earth. There are also "Milk Sea, Five-Color Sea, and Pearl Sea" formed by snow water in the territory. They are called "Haizi" here, and the oath of friendship will also appear more resolute here.

(Strategies) Tips:

1. Full-price tickets are divided into 146 yuan/time and 120 yuan/time in off-season and peak seasons. Some groups can enjoy preferential tickets and free ticket services.

2. If you want to fly directly to Daocheng Airport, there is no direct bus from the airport to the scenic spot. You need to take the airport bus to Daocheng County first. The bus departure time is rolling after the flight lands every day, at an hour interval, and the fare is 30 yuan/person.

3. Tickets for Daocheng Yading Scenic Area can be purchased through the on-site ticketing window, self-service machines, official websites and Weixin Official Accounts. You need to bring your ID card with you ~
