After nearly ten hours of long-distance bumps, I finally arrived at Caicun, near the Erhai Lake in Dali. It was already time to turn on the lights at night when I arrived at my accommodation (although there was a two-hour time difference between here and Shanghai, and it was dark later than Shanghai). Caicun was dark and there were almost no street lights. The car couldn't even find the way when driving in. When I arrived at the inn, parking places became a problem again. I looked around and saw that there were several not-good parking spaces around the house. The boss came out and greeted them and finally parked.

We stayed in a B & B. The owner of "Yiduoyun Inn" was a local, and the lady owner was a foreigner. It was very polite, but the room was relatively small and the toilets were all squatting pits. Southerners were a little uncomfortable. Several female students had some opinions. Fortunately, they were resolved in time. Our four-day trip to Dali this time should be enough. On the first day after arriving in Dali, we rented seven battery cars and prepared to ride along the Erhai Lake. The first stop was to the Third Pagoda of Chongsheng Temple.

The three towers of Chongsheng Temple are located in the northwest of the ancient city of Dali, facing Yingle Peak of Cangshan Mountain in the west and Erhai Lake in the east, and about 1500 meters away from the foot of the mountain. The three towers consist of three pavilions, one big, two small ones. The big tower is also known as Chihiro Tower. Local people call it the "Wenbi Tower". Three towers stand in a tripod, Chihiro Tower is in the middle, and two small towers are guarding the north and south. In Dali State after Nanzhao, Buddhism was more developed than Nanzhao, and was known as the "Buddha State" and "Miaoxiang State". After its completion, Chongsheng Temple became the center of Buddhist activities during the Nanzhao and Dali Dynasties. Among the twenty-second emperors of Dali State, nine went to Chongsheng Temple to become monks. The nine kings of Dali who became monks are: Duan Siying: the second king of Dali; Duan Sulong: the eighth king of Dali; Duan Suzhen: the ninth king of Dali; Duan Silian: the eleventh king of Dali; Duan Shouhui: the thirteenth king of Dali; Duan Zhengming: the 14th king of Dali; Duan Zhengchun: the 15th king of Dali and the father of Duan Yu in Jin Yong's "Eight Parts of the Dragon"; Duan Zhengyan: the 16th king of Dali and also the middle part of Jin Yong's "Eight Parts of the Dragon"; Duan Zhengxing: The 17th King of Dali. The second stop is Xizhou Ancient Town.

Xizhou is located 18 kilometers north of the ancient city of Dali, bordering the Erhai Lake in the east and Cangshan Mountain in the west. Xizhou is an important Bai ethnic town. It has the most preserved and best Bai residential buildings. From the layout point of view, it is a typical Bai courtyard pattern with "three squares and one light wall" and "four in five courtyards". The center of Xizhou Town is Sifang Street, a small square surrounded by shops. There is a stone workshop erected here, which is the "Civilization Workshop" built in recent years. Xizhou is also the seat of an administrative district town government. Long before Nanzhao moved to the surrounding Erhai Lake, this was the settlement of the Bai ancestors,"Heman". The third stop is Huadian Spring.

Butterfly Spring, the spring water is as clear as a mirror. Every year, when the Butterfly Festival comes, thousands of butterflies fly from all directions and fly around the spring. The butterfly is as big as a palm and as small as a copper coin. Countless butterflies are also hooked on their feet and connected to their whiskers, and they hang from the big acacia tree to the water. Colorful and spectacular. Butterfly Spring is also one of the famous tourist attractions. It has beautiful scenery, clear spring water, and a unique spectacle rare in the world (Butterfly Festival). With the spread of the classic film "Five Golden Flowers", which reflects the life of the Bai people, the strange landscape of Butterfly Spring has become even more famous at home and abroad. Butterfly Spring is very famous, but if you actually go to Butterfly Spring, you will be disappointed. The Butterfly Spring you see in the movie is very different from the actual Butterfly Spring. Butterfly Spring is very small (but the water shortage is very deep, 7 meters), not as crystal clear as in the movie, and there are many people taking photos around, but the surrounding scenery is quite pleasant and it is also a good place to retreat. By the way, I would like to remind friends in Pudong, Shanghai that if you come to visit, you can enjoy free tickets! The fourth stop is Shuanglang Ancient Town.

Shuanglang is located in the northeast of Dali City, on the northeast bank of Erhai Lake, bordering Jizu Mountain in Binchuan in the east, Wase Town in the south, Erhai Lake in the west, Shangguan Town in the north, and Huangping Town in Heqing County in the northeast. There is a Luoshi Qu in the north and a Lotus Qu in the south. In front of it, there are two islands of Jinsuo and Yuji surrounded by the double bends, hence the name--Shuanglang. Standing on the high hill east of Shuanglang Town, overlooking the blue Erhai Lake, Shuanglang Town and Nanzhao Style Island have a panoramic view. Cangshan Mountain in the distance is particularly beautiful against the blue sky and white clouds. In Shuanglang, the water and sky are one color, and the mountains are stacked with green mountains. The inn and the lake light and water color complement each other. The golden shuttle brocade and "Double Islands and Double Songs" surround and complement the Bai market town with elegant ancient colors and rich customs. Shuanglang Town is the most suitable town for living, with the reputation of "Dali scenery is in Cang 'er, and Cang' er scenery is in Shuanglang". On the island of customs, Duan Wangfu, dancer Yang Liping Villa, etc. are all places where tourists check in. Due to time constraints, we only had a rough tour and returned to our station. There was an incident on the way back to the station. A female classmate in the team accidentally fell off while riding a bicycle, which scared us quite a lot. Fortunately, they were all superficial injuries, some of them injured. I estimated that I would need to rest for two days. The total riding distance around the Erhai Lake is about 150 kilometers. This is the first time I have ridden for such a long time. I am really tired from starting at dawn and going back at dark!

On the second day in Dali, we went to Cangshan, Dali Ancient City, Tianlong Babu Film and Television City. We chose to take the "Ximatan Cableway" to visit Cangshan. We really didn't help on this day, but it was foggy again. I really suspected that this place would become the foggy capital of Chongqing! After more than an hour of cableway, the sun was still shining at the foot of the mountain, and it felt a little hot. When we reached the mountain, we couldn't see anything. The wind was strong and cold. Cangshan Mountain was 3962 meters above sea level. When a few of us reached 3920 meters, we didn't want to go up again. One of the reasons was that it was very cold, and the other was that it was useless to go up. It was so thick that we couldn't see anything. Let alone Ximatan, I probably couldn't even find the plank road, so we gave up decisively! Then we took the cableway down the mountain. On the platform of the cableway half-way transfer site, the sun was shining brightly, and a group of people excitedly took photos. There is nothing to see in that Tianlong Babu Film and Television City. The film and television city was built for the 87 version of "Tianlong Babu", and tickets were given away by taking the entire cableway. When we were about to come out, we happened to encounter a performance and stopped to watch it for a while. It only lasted about 5 minutes. It was not interesting. The ancient city of Dali, alas! I was so disappointed. I heard that it was more fun than Dayan Ancient City, but when I arrived, I realized that the difference was not a little bit. It was too boring. The modern ones should not be more modern. They can't be like the ancient city. Give up.

The second day in Dali, I went to Lijiang. I should explain that Lijiang was temporarily added. It was not in the original plan. I just thought that I had arrived in Dali and was not far away from Lijiang. It was good to check in, so I came to Lijiang. As far as I am concerned, this is my second time to Lijiang. I remember I came here once in 2014 and stayed in Lijiang for about a week. This time I can be a "tour guide", hehe! Four people in our team have been to Lijiang before, but the vast majority of them have not. I took them from the south gate across Sifang Street to the highest point of Lijiang, overlooking the "Jade Dragon Snow Mountain" and the entire view of the ancient city of Lijiang. Then I came to the "Big Water Car" where I checked in and took photos. No matter what, I had been to Lijiang at all!

The trip to Dali is over, and I drove 350 kilometers back to Fuxian Lake in Kunming. This is a good place, but I didn't expect it. Accommodation is the most comfortable trip this time, and the attractions are also very good (Moon Bay Wetland Park), much like Sanya in Hainan. Beaches, coconut trees, and waves are very pleasant scenery, romantic yet interesting. Wedding photos are everywhere in the scenic area, especially sunsets and silhouette portraits, which makes everyone excited! I highly recommend friends to visit Fuxian Lake and stay at Shangjia Hotel (Fuxian Lake View Store).

The last stop of the journey (There was originally a sedan chair snow mountain, but it was cancelled because I heard that the weather was not cold yet and there was no snow on the mountain.) Dongchuan Red Soil, Fuxian Lake is not far from Dongchuan Red Soil, which is only 200 kilometers away. However, after arriving in Dongchuan, we have to walk about 30 to 50 kilometers of mountain road, which makes me a little carsick. When we arrived at the red soil, we went to the scenic spots first. The owner of Hongtu Summer Inn is very nice. We haven't arrived, but we have already contacted them because we are unfamiliar with the roads in the scenic area. The landlady gave advice on the phone and sent out location locations. The service was very thoughtful. However, overall, we were unlucky on this trip and encountered fog again. It was okay at a close distance, but couldn't see anything clearly from a distance. Fortunately, the weather gradually improved in the afternoon, and some photos were taken. I just wanted to watch the sunset, but unfortunately I didn't see them. The landlady of Hongtu Summer Inn is the only college student in this village. She helped her family open a B & B after completing her studies, so she is very sensible and simple. She strongly recommends friends who want to come in the future to stay at their home. Really, think about it, we came here during the off-season tourist season. There were almost no tourists in the village, but their house was full (a four-story B & B with about a dozen rooms). Can't that explain the problem?

This is almost over. Back in Kunming, we went to Cuihu Park and the "Yunnan Army Lecture Hall" on the side. The "Yunnan Army Lecture Hall" was the starting point of our Mr. Zhu's military career. There were also some precious historical records and photos of the Chinese Expeditionary Force. This is the second time I have met the seagulls in Cuihu Park. I remember the last time I came here (2014), it was at night. All the seagulls returned to their nests. This time I finally met them. I took great photos, hahaha!

Finally, the bell dog and the old man seen in the photo are local Internet celebrities. Unfortunately, the dog is still there, but the old man is------The place we live is next door to the old Internet celebrity old Internet celebrity old man.
