Colorful Yunnan, the seasons are like spring all year round, Cangshan Erhai, Dali Lijiang... these words are fascinating. I have traveled to Yunnan and Kunming many times with a group before. In order to learn more about Yunnan and visit Kunming, during a spare period after the Spring Festival, we made a special trip to Yunnan and Kunming.

Kunming is surrounded by mountains on three sides and Dianchi Lake in the south. The scenery along the lake is beautiful. Due to its location on the low-latitude plateau, it has a climate of "spring all year round" and enjoys the reputation of "Spring City".

1. Cuihu Park is located in the north of Kunming City, opposite Yunnan University. It is one of the most beautiful parks in Kunming City. The lake water here is green, the trees and lotus ponds are elegant and beautiful. Thousands of red-billed gulls can be fed and photographed in winter and spring. It is very interesting.

After visiting Cuihu, the four streets surrounding the park (Cuihu East Road, Cuihu South Road, Cuihu West Road, and Cuihu North Road) are full of specialty shops, cafes and bars. In addition, near Cuihu Park are the former site of Yunnan Army Lecture Hall, Yunnan University, etc.

2. The former site of the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall. Jianwu Hall was built in 1909. When it was first built, it was called one of the three major Jianwu halls in the country. A large number of outstanding military strategists and revolutionaries such as Zhu De and Ye Jianying were once students here.

3. Yunnan University was founded in 1922 as a private Donglu University. In 1938, it was changed to National Yunnan University. It is one of the earliest universities established in western China. The school is located in Wuhua District, Kunming City, adjacent to Cuihu Park. It has beautiful scenery and a quiet environment. It is a must-visit place for tourists to stroll in their spare time and feel the academic atmosphere.

4. Yunnan Normal University was born in 1938. Its predecessor was National Southwest Associated University (Normal College).

5. Dianchi Lake, also known as Kunming Lake, is the largest freshwater lake in Yunnan and the sixth largest freshwater lake in China. The lake is vast and vast. You can walk by the lake, travel by boat, and feed birds in winter and spring.

Dianchi Lake is located at the foot of the West Mountain, about 5 kilometers away from the urban area. At its northern end, it is close to Daguan Park and faces Xishan Park across the water.

6. Daguan Park is located in the southwest of Kunming City and on the north side of Dianchi Lake. It is a beautiful park with dense vegetation and elegant pavilions. The Daguanlou in the park, built during the Kangxi period, can overlook the Xishan Mountains and Dianchi Lake. It is very famous in history. Many literati and literati have written inscriptions for the Daguanlou. Among them, the 180-character Daguanlou (the Daguanlou is the most famous building in the park and was once called one of the ten top ten Ming towers in ancient times) is even more famous.

7. Xishan Mountain is located on the west side of Kunming City, adjacent to Dianchi Lake, and about 15 kilometers away from the urban area. The forests here are dense, the environment is fresh and elegant, and the Longmen Grottoes on the mountain are ancient and precious. They are a must-visit for tourists who love humanities. Standing on the Longmen, you can have a panoramic view of the 500-mile Dianchi Lake, with endless scenery.

8. Jinma Biji Square is located at the intersection of Sanshi Street and Jinbi Road in Kunming City. It was built during the Xuande period of the Ming Dynasty. Today it is the landmark and city center of Kunming, and it is also one of the symbols of Kunming.

9. The Shilin Scenic Area is located in Shilin County, Kunming and is known as the "No. 1 Wonder in the World". The stone forest is a typical karst landform, with stone peaks, stone buds, sinkholes, and underground rivers everywhere. The peak forests transform into various forms, including sword shapes, tower shapes, mushroom shapes, etc., which are strange and beautiful.

10. There is a saying in Yunnan that "Look at the stone forest on the ground, and look at the Jiuxiang underground." Jiuxiang and the famous stone forest belong to the karst three-dimensional landscape, but its beauty lies not in the peak forest, but in the karst cave. The scenic spot has hundreds of large and small karst caves, which are huge in scale and numerous in number, and is known as the "Karst Cave Museum".

11. The Golden Hall was built in the Ming Dynasty (1602). It is one of the four major bronze halls in China and is the best preserved. In the tenth year of Kangxi (1671 AD), King Wu Sangui of Pingxi was renovated and has a long history.

12. Nandou Flower Market

Hundreds of flowers, dried flowers, seeds, etc. are sent from here to all parts of the country every day.

1. Double corridors

Located at the northeastern end of Dali City, Yunnan Province and the northeastern bank of Erhai Lake, it is a provincial-level historical and cultural town in Yunnan Province and the "No. 1 Town of Canger Scenery." 2. Shangri-La

Shika Snow Mountain is located in the southwest of Jiantang Town, Shangri-La County, and the southeastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, with an altitude of 4500 meters. National 5A tourist attraction. The highest point in the district, the main peak of Shika Mountain, is 4500 meters above sea level, and the lowest point, Napa Meadow, is 3270 meters above sea level, with a relative height difference of 1230 meters. It almost contains all natural vertical belts and alpine belts of the "Three Parallel Rivers" World Natural Heritage Site in northwest Yunnan. Three-dimensional ecological landscape resources.

3. Three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple in Dali

The three towers of Chongsheng Temple face Yingle Peak of Cangshan Mountain in the west and Erhai Lake in the east, about 1500 meters away from the foot of the mountain. Three towers stand on a tripod, with Chihiro Tower in the middle, and two small towers guarding the north and south. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit.

4. Lijiang Ancient City

Also known as Dayan Town, it is located in the middle of Lijiang Dam. It was built in the late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty (late 13th century AD). It is one of the two ancient cities in China that successfully declared the entire ancient city for World Cultural Heritage.
