On the afternoon of the third day we arrived in Dali, we were arranged to have a meal at "Memory of the Elm People". The restaurant is located on a quiet street in the ancient town. This street with gurgling streams is called Red Longjing. I was surprised when I stepped into this street. It is reported that this street is named after the Red Longjing Pavilion. There are sculptures of a well and jade cabbage in the pavilion, and four red dragons are coiled on the pillars of the pavilion.
We walked into the restaurant opposite the pavilion for dinner. After dinner, we returned to the central square of the street. The tourists around the pavilion had dispersed, leaving the old banyan tree alone waiting to tell the story. It is said that there used to be a spring water wellhead here, and a red dragon in the well blessed the weather here. Good weather; This is also the birthplace of the story of "Jade Cabbage", and the magical story has become a beautiful legend of the ancient city.
Today's water comes from the Cangshan Canyon. Clear streams flow meandering in the canals and pass through the entire streets and alleys. The artificial stone bridge steps and waterfalls along the street outline the beautiful scenery of "clear spring stones flowing upward." Why don't you call this place to remember?
Stroll on the street surrounded by flowers, or sit quietly on the willow street and take a nap. When the breeze blows on your face and the willow leaves touch the ends of your hair, how can this street not be fascinating?
When the sun sets in the west, Yu Xia is reflected in the water channel, and the charming lights on the street are lit up, making Red Longjing look more elegant and refined.
