Guangzhou, also known as Yangcheng and Huadu, is my country's third largest city after Shanghai and Beijing. It is a national comprehensive gateway city. It is China's southern gate to the world. It is the center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone. The central city and the hub city of the Belt and Road Initiative are not only worthy of being a first-tier city in my country, but also rated as a first-tier city in the world by the global authoritative organization GaWC. The per capita development index and the number of college students rank first in the country and other indicators.
Yu Fan has lived in Guangzhou for many years. He is very familiar with and likes Guangzhou very much. He likes Guangzhou's Guangzhou-style morning tea, and likes to visit Shamian, Red Brick Factory, Shangxiajiu, Sacred Heart Church, Baiyun Mountain, Yuexiu Park, Chenjia Temple, etc. Many scenic spots with a long history and rich culture that charge free or symbolic tickets. He has also taken many photos of Guangzhou and written many travel notes about Guangzhou, but they are all looking at Guangzhou from the ground.
In late last month, Yufan flew from Wuyi Mountain in Fujian to Guangzhou. The weather was excellent that day and the air was extremely transparent. So when the plane began to descend, I opened the porthole and kept quietly observing this city I had lived in for many years. Although it was not the first time I saw it from the sky, it was the first time I had both good weather and a good position near the window, and the times were very good.
Many times I flew to Guangzhou in the past, either the weather was bad, or my line of sight was blocked by the wings, or I didn't choose the window at all, or it was already night when I flew to Guangzhou. Although the night view was beautiful, it was not easy for my mobile phone to take good pictures. Effect, sometimes the weather is good and the time is good, but the direction you sit is right against the light, so there is no way to take pictures, so everything must be about opportunity.
This time, due to many favorable factors such as the weather, location, people and people, I had the opportunity to slowly appreciate the beauty of Guangzhou in the air. As the capital of Guangdong and the largest city in South China, Guangzhou has a very long history. Since the Qin Dynasty, it has been the seat of county, state, and government governance, and the political, military, economic, cultural, and scientific and educational center of South China. It is also the radiation center of Guangfu culture. It has become the main port of the Maritime Silk Road since the third century AD. It has become the largest port in China during the Tang and Song Dynasties. It is the world-famous Eastern Port City. It is China's only foreign trade port during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Port, is the only port city in the world that has lasted for more than 2,000 years.
Therefore, his prosperity did not rise in one fell swoop like Shenzhen, but had thousands of years of cultural development and accumulation. He had a heavy side and a prosperous side. When the plane flew over Xiao Man's waist, I suddenly remembered a poem I once wrote about it: The foot of Yunshan Mountain, the bank of Pearl River! It is majestic, with a tower holding the sky and connecting the sky with the flowing clouds; it is dazzling, with the winding fields in all directions, overlooking the famous rivers of Yangcheng. Looking north at Lake Gan, looking at the towering mountains, connecting Hong Kong and Macao to the south, recalling the smoke sales of Humen, welcoming the purple gas in the east, lifting the giant waves of reform, looking west at Guizhou and Guangxi, tracing the source of the Pearl River...
Before the plane landed at Baiyun Airport, the route just circled the city. Yuexiu District, Haizhu District, Tianhe District, Liwan District, and then to Baiyun District were all presented one by one in our vision.
Moreover, Ersha Island, Haixinsha, Guangzhou Tower, and Zhujiang New City are all clearly visible. New areas with high-rise buildings and urban villages with low-rise old houses are all visible one by one. It is just like there are both blue skies and white clouds in the sky, a diverse and integrated Guangzhou allows us to see it clearly. Some of the buildings and streets I have visited before are particularly friendly when viewed from the air, especially places where I have worked and stayed before.
It is a pity that Guangzhou's most prosperous Pearl River New City is blocked by a large area of white clouds. A young girl next to him joked that we will arrive at Baiyun Airport soon. How can we call Baiyun Airport without white clouds? Well, nothing can be perfect or without beauty. A little regret will not affect the good mood overlooking Guangzhou.
Friends, in your experiences, have you felt very shocked when you were flying above?
