I have lived in Guangdong for three years. Due to my work attributes, I don't spend much time at home. The heat in the south makes me don't want to go out at all. Recently, the autumn weather has been crisp, so mimo and I decided to go on a self-driving trip in Guangdong Province to get to know Guangdong again, find some niche photo attractions, and take a wave of photos belonging to Guangdong.
Self-driving starts in Guangzhou
Our first stop came to Guangzhou City, because Guangzhou is the closest city to my home. In fact, I only visited public attractions such as Shamian and Catholic Church when I first arrived in Guangzhou, and then I took my family to the Pearl River when they came. Night tours. I have never known the Guangzhou Urban area well. Speaking of first-tier cities over the years, Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai seem to have overshadowed Guangzhou, but in fact Guangzhou's urban construction has not fallen behind at all. Many design-oriented buildings stand in the center of the city, such as the Guangzhou Grand Theater, where we first arrived.
The Guangzhou Grand Theater is located in Zhujiang New Town, the absolute center of the city. At first, I was particularly resistant to driving here. I thought that the roads were crowded and I couldn't afford the parking fee. However, I didn't expect that there would be a large sub-regional parking lot under the Guangzhou Library of the Guangzhou Grand Theater. The parking fee is 5 yuan an hour. This really surprised me in the city center, and parking the car directly goes up to the ground and reaches the entrance of the Guangzhou Grand Theater.
Because there was a shooting project at the Guangzhou Grand Theater on the day we went, and many young ladies in formal dresses booked the venue to take photos surrounded by a group of staff, mimo and I had to walk into the Grand Theater building to find a photo angle. But it was precisely because of this that we found a very good photo angle. We could take different photos of the Guangzhou Tower on the lowest floor of the Guangzhou Grand Theater.
After taking pictures at the Guangzhou Grand Theater, we found that the group of young ladies in dress had not finished filming yet. We had to decide to move to a place to visit the Nansha Bridge, which had just been put into use.
Group photo with Nansha Bridge-Nansha Yacht Club
Driving for half an hour, we arrived at the Nansha Yacht Club, which was the best place for me to take pictures of the Nansha Bridge. I have different feelings about the Nansha Bridge, because the other end of the bridge is Dongguan, where I live. In the past, when I came to Guangzhou from Dongguan to walk the Humen Bridge, I was blocked every time I came to Guangzhou, and I doubted my life. However, the Nansha Bridge that was put into use last year has greatly alleviated this problem and shortened the distance between me and Guangzhou. Of course, the charges for Nansha Bridge are not low, so I usually wouldn't choose to take this bridge unless necessary.
Of course, in addition to looking at the Nansha Bridge, the Nansha Yacht Club itself is also worth stopping and taking photos. I have long heard that this place has become very popular on the Internet recently, and it has been called "the feeling of being able to take pictures of Europe without leaving Guangzhou."
However, it seems that the place is still under construction and there are not many tourists. Sporadic tourists are also taking selfie sticks and taking selfies. To be honest, I think what's spread on the Internet about this photo spot is a bit too much. Whether it's beautiful or not is perfectly reflected here depends on the truth of the filter. There are not many angles where you can take photos. It's a European building every time you take pictures. There is also a shortage of surrounding facilities. There is only one restaurant and no beverage vending machines. Moreover, public transportation is not very convenient unless you drive yourself, so I don't recommend students who take the subway to check in.
Self-driving Parking Tips:
There are parking spaces on both sides of the back road after entering the yacht club, and parking is free.
Treasure photo location-Puzhou High-tech Development Park
After leaving the Nansha Yacht Club, we continued to wander around Nansha. Not far from the Nansha Yacht Club, we accidentally discovered a treasure photo location. This seems to be an office area that is not very popular. You can count the merchants in the entire area on one hand, and there is almost no flow of people. However, this industrial park is designed to be very suitable for taking photos. With the help of a wide angle, it even has a bit meaning of King's Cross Station in London.
It seems that the only store open here is this cultural and creative store behind my parking. You can see it in the store and few tourists visit it. Faced with mimo and I suddenly barging in, the clerk was surprised and sent us a postcard, which depicts the appearance of this industrial park.
Only when you walk into the industrial park will you find that the treasure shooting spot is not exaggerated at all. These huge cactus must have to queue up to take photos when they are taken to the Internet celebrity shop outside, and there is no one here except the cleaning lady.
Walking further along the cactus, you will find that the interior of the building does not look like an office building, but more like a station. This reminds me of King's Cross in London, where a casual wide angle can give you a picture of King's Cross Station.
We filmed here for about an hour and a half, and only one cleaning lady showed up during this period, so if you want to shoot a big movie without anyone, I recommend you come here.
Self-driving Parking Tips:
Currently, roads near the industrial park are under construction, but you can drive directly into the industrial park. Maybe there are no people going, there are sufficient parking spaces and free parking.
At night, we returned to the center of the city. At this time, the feeling of Guangzhou's city had completely appeared in front of us. Driving along the Pearl River, we watched the boats sailing on the Pearl River at night, and the small waists in the distance changed. Various colors, and the Liede Bridge reflects from the distance. Such gorgeous lights can make people feel warm even on the cooling night. Maybe this is why I like the city.
Self-driving Parking Tips:
There is a huge parking lot under the Guangzhou Grand Theater. The parking fee is 5 yuan per hour (I personally feel that it is very conscientious in the center of Guangzhou City). The licensed cars can only be parked in the P8 parking lot, and other cars can only be used.
The parking lot near Pati Wharf Square is generally 10 yuan per hour, and there are sufficient parking spaces.
Dream with whales-Equestrian across the world
One night later in Guangzhou, we came to Panyu, where we were going to find a real whale specimen. The cause of the incident was that mimo once saw a wedding photo of a couple in front of a stuffed whale with a lamp on the Internet. She immediately fell in love with this scene. After checking for a long time, she found that except for the night view photo on the Internet, everything else was from daytime. The couple replied mimo that they had a wedding there, so they were not sure whether the lights were turned on normally.
With the mentality of giving it a try, we drove to this place. Panyu Sihai Equestrian. It itself is a riding club. There are also a cafe and a restaurant. There are not many tourists, and most of them come to ride horses and eat.
It is worth mentioning that the distance of kilometers from fast to the world when riding horses is also very touching, a bit of a dark hedge in Northern Ireland. There are many vehicles here, so we hurriedly took a picture of our little Huang Xia and continued to drive forward.
Drive directly in from the gate of the scenic area, and you will see the whale specimen in front of you at a corner. Following the guidance of the security guard, we parked the car and rushed over to have a closer look at the specimen. This specimen is exactly what I imagined. It is hanging alone in a glass window, with the woods behind it, which feels like seeing whales deep in the forest. However, I think the most beautiful time should be the moment when the surrounding lights are on, so after taking one, we will continue to explore equestrian around the world.
There is a huge metal robot not far from the whale, and I, in 187, stand underneath it like a Lilliput doll. This is the most suitable place for me to take photos of Sihai Equestrian apart from whales. With the surrounding environment, it feels like being in an anime.
It's really a problem that the leaves in Guangdong don't turn yellow. Mimo, who claims to like autumn the most, has never experienced autumn in Guangdong. Except for the colder weather in the morning and evening to remind you that autumn is coming, the surrounding environment cannot see the shadow of autumn. At first, I wanted to turn the leaves in this group of photos into yellow to set off the autumn atmosphere. Later, I thought that would go against the feeling of autumn in Guangdong, so I had to give up.
There is also a stable next to the robot, with several thin horses for people to watch. Horses are naturally the protagonists in the equestrian field, but it seems that if you want to see heroic horses here, you can only participate in horse riding activities. However, we have just ridden in Hokkaido. Our legs are sore and we have no such plan.
After filming the robot, we entered and waited for the whale to turn on the lights to relieve the situation. Since it was early, I happened to be in the parking lot to take a good photo of my Liberty Man.
In order to wait for this whale specimen to turn on the lights, we put a lot of effort into it. We didn't have any tips on the Internet. We consulted the security guard. The security guard might turn on the lights at some time, so he could only sit in the car and wait. Fortunately, the Liberty Man panoramic sunroof rescued me. I put down my seat, lay down and looked out from the sunroof, as if I were in a forest. Since the parking lot is still a long way away from the whale specimen, I go to the specimen every ten minutes after dark to check on the lights. There are really countless mosquitoes in the park. Every time I get off the bus and walk over, I feed the mosquitoes again. Before I was completely eaten by mosquitoes, the specimen finally turned on. That moment was really dreamy.
I have always imagined that my home could be a museum, full of animal and plant specimens, and even a giraffe specimen should be placed beside the bed, so that I might one day experience the scary night of the museum. We really liked this scene so much that we stayed in front of this window for an hour. Even the security guard came over and joked about us,"Are you here to set a small stove for the mosquitoes in our park?"
According to my own experience that night, the lights should be turned on around 8 o'clock, but it may not be accurate.
Self-driving Parking Tips:
Self-driving navigation Four Seas Equestrian in Panyu, Guangzhou. There is a large parking lot at the main entrance, or you can drive directly into the park. There is also a small parking lot inside, and parking is free.
The entire beach you can enjoy is exclusive to you-Maoming First Beach
After leaving Guangzhou, we decided to drive to Maoming. Driving to Maoming is something I have been thinking about for a long time. I have a deep memory of the Maoming seaside full of fishing boats when Guangdong opened the sea in August this year. If it weren't for being abroad at the time, I would have driven there to enjoy the seafood feast. Unexpectedly, it would have been delayed until the end of October. Maoming is more than 4 hours by car, about 350 kilometers, from Guangzhou. Many people may hesitate when they see this distance: How much gas will it cost? The car I drive does not have this worry. The fuel consumption data for normal driving at high speeds is very touching. It was late at night when we drove to the first beach from Guangzhou. We drove directly to the B & B to check in. We planned to rest directly the next day to take the beach sunrise, but we didn't expect that the B & B that mimo booked was quite interesting. We took such a photo of her before we even left our luggage.
(It is said that this B & B has been renovated and renovated since we came back. I don't know when it will open again, so don't ask me where I booked it.)
There are three major hardships in life for me. The first one is getting up early. After more than 10 alarms from the night before finally woke me up, I woke mimo up and drove to the beach in the dark. Mimo said there was still half an hour before sunrise. Why should I go so early? I said I had to make a good advance in case something happened?
Before I could finish my sentence, the dashboard of my car started to alarm the tire pressure. I quickly stopped and got off the car to check and found that the right rear tire was flat. I don't know if it was punctured somewhere. I quickly took a spare tire jack in the trunk and started changing the tires. Changing the tires in the chilly wind in the morning was a really good way to wake people up completely from sleep.
After changing the spare tire, it was almost dawn. There was no sunrise on cloudy days. Looking at the fishermen who got up early and driving tractors on the beach, I had the idea of wanting to go to the beach. mimo refused with a face,"I have already gotten up early in the morning to change your tires. Do you still want me to accompany you to cart in the sand?"
I rolled my eyes at her."I am the size of a Freedom Man, and I am also a four-wheel drive. Even if you don't have confidence in me, you should have confidence in the car." That being said, it was my first time driving on the sand after all. I deflated the tires, hooked on the low-speed four-wheel drive and got to the beach. The big tractor brothers stopped to see me coming up. The angry little yellow man probably thought that I would have to ask them to help me tow the trailer for a while. But there was no surprise or danger. It allowed me to go from being cautious at the beginning to being bold and self-driving at the end. I had a great time listening to the waves all the way and didn't give mimo the opportunity to push a cart.
After we had enough fun at the beach, we went to the city to have breakfast to find a tire repair. Maoming's duck porridge is very famous, and even people like me who don't drink porridge can easily be conquered. The tire repair aunt next door was also quick enough, and in a bowl of porridge, my Freedom Man was full of vitality again.
Self-driving Parking Tips:
Parking is charged in First Beach, but you can check the free parking code when booking a hotel. Remember to ask for it. Here, you can drive directly to the beach when you go out from the east gate.
Yan Jingling, known as Lovers Mountain
After making up the tires and leaving the first beach, we continued to drive towards Yanjingling. Yanjingling is actually not far from the first beach in a straight line. However, since the first beach is a scenic spot and the middle is cut off, cars cannot drive from the first beach. Therefore, we have to go out of the scenic spot and re-navigate Yanjingling.
As we drove out of the first beach, we encountered a building like this below.
When we first saw it, mimo and I said "Grand Budapest Hotel" in unison. Coupled with the foggy weather by the sea, this building looked like a scene in a movie, so we quickly drove in to take photos.
This building feels like it has been abandoned. I think it should have been a resort hotel or something, but there are not many tourists here and it is probably dilapidated. It is full of locals walking inside.
The location here is opposite the main entrance of the First Beach Scenic Area. You can search for Dolphin Hotel by navigation, which is directly opposite.
Leaving this pseudo-Budapest Hotel, we came to Yanjingling, which fully met our expectations for niche attractions. Along the way, we couldn't see tourists except for local people riding small electric donkeys to fish. We climbed onto the reef and I said to mimo,"Come, you have contracted all this beach."
Many people fish on the beach at the foot of Yanjingling. They listen to the rhythmic sound of the tide and feel the fun of fishing.
This photo was quite interesting when we were taken. We all thought the background was a bit monotonous. Mimo said that we should drive the Freedom Man over as the background, but in fact this road is very narrow and it is difficult to drive out. This is also the reason why there are no cars parked on the roadside. This reflects the benefits of small cars. My Freedom Man can easily come in and go out. In addition to being able to go down the beach, he can also serve as a background for the photo, and has a deep reputation. In fact, it was not good to take the light from the beach during the day, so we chose to go back to the B & B until evening and then back to Yanjingling.
When I came back again in the evening, I saw someone playing paragliding in the sky. After asking around, I realized that the air flow in the sky here in Yanjingling was very stable, so this is also a holy place for playing paragliding.
I forgot to tell you that Yanjingling is also known as Lovers Mountain. This title is actually related to the language of the place. The language in this area is commonly known as Li dialect and belongs to the Southern Fujian language family. Watching the sunrise from the top of Yanjingling is actually a very romantic thing. In front of the mountain is the deep blue sea, and behind it is the crescent-like plain fields. It can be said that you can have a panoramic view of various landforms within a radius of hundreds of miles, and these beautiful scenery basically maintain the original landforms.
The Yanjingling Scenic Spot is winding in the mountains. When viewed horizontally in the Dianbai Shuidong area, it looks like a Buddha lying on its back, when viewed up close, it looks like a fierce leopard galloping, and when viewed down, it looks like a flying dragon. To the southeast and south, the sea is blue and crystal clear, the sandy beaches are white, and the sand is soft; there are reefs under the ridge, creating thousands of waves; the northwest forest belt is surrounded by it, like a green Great Wall. Yanjing Ridge is high but not steep, the stones are bare but not dangerous, and the waves are loud but not turbid. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the sea, silver sand, Guiyu and Tongzi Bay, which is refreshing and refreshing. It is a good place to watch the sea, listen to the waves, fish, mountain climbing, fitness, comfort and cultivate your spirits.
Self-driving Parking Tips:
Parking on both sides of the road, but the road is narrow. People who are fishing and rushing to the sea usually park here. It is recommended to go by the wrong peak.
If you don't think Yan Jingling is having fun, you can go to Maoming's Mine Park. Mine Park is the kind of place suitable for a family of three to go for a picnic and run. If you go to take photos, you will feel ordinary. If you eat too much weather, Tiffany blue will be when the weather is good, and if the weather is bad, it will be broken ditch. So we just took two quick aerial photos here and left.
Drive to the end of the sky-Windmill Mountain
In fact, I have already photographed several places in Guangdong. I used to drive Freedom Man to check in Windmill Mountain in Huizhou, go to Windmill Mountain in Heyuan to wait for meteor showers, go to Windmill Island in Shanwei to photograph windmills on the seaside, and this time Maoming's Windmill Mountain is almost the "Four Windmill Heroes".
This Fengchen Mountain is far away from the urban area of Maoming. It takes about an hour to drive. Two incidents occurred when we went up the mountain. The first one was that we directly navigated Fengchen Mountain and drove the wrong way to a temple gate. Grandpa and grandma went to worship God. They were all very curious about why young people came to worship God, or whether they came to pray for children. I finally navigated to the right road, but I encountered a traffic jam. A car was stuck in the middle of the road on a gravel section. Because it was a single lane, the cars on it couldn't get off, and our car couldn't get on either. We rushed forward and helped rescue the car with pushing and pulling. Unexpectedly, we met the car owner on the top of the mountain. He even volunteered to take a photo of us.
This tree is the most beautiful place in Maoming Windmill Mountain than other Windmill Mountains. Standing alone under the large windmills is simply the best prop for taking photos. After leaving the family picnicking under the tree and the uncle sleeping in the tree, we finally photographed this lonely tree as we wished.
What needs to be noted is that no matter when you go up the mountain, you must go down the mountain before dark. There are no street lights on the entire mountain road, and there are locals riding motorcycles who can sneak out at any time, which is very dangerous.
Self-driving Parking Tips:
The best point to take photos on Fengfeng Mountain is the No. 48 windmill. You can directly navigate the No. 48 windmill. The road up the mountain is narrow. Pay attention to the speed and meeting of cars. Turn and whistle. You must drive carefully when you reach the top of the mountain when a section of the road is damaged. There is a parking lot under Windmill 48.
The places we drove to this time are all good places suitable for weekend self-driving tours in Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Previously, there have been private letters from students from Guangzhou and Shenzhen asking me where I can drive to play on weekends. I feel that working is very hard. If I can't go out with my family and your spouse on weekends, I feel that life will be even more meaningless. So for this reason, I wrote this travel note hoping to help these people, so that your car will not just be a means of transportation for getting to work and being stuck in the city. It is an angel who can take you to achieve emotional freedom in a beautiful environment during the weekend. Thank you for watching.
