"Make high-quality wishes, make middle-quality bonds, and enjoy low-quality blessings;
Choose a high place to stand, sit on a flat place, and walk towards a wide place."
--This is a couplet by Zuo Zongtang, and I like it very much.
As the beginning of my travel journey, I would first like to pay tribute to the medical workers who are being treated on the front line. Nothing tests people's hearts more than a disaster. When a national crisis is facing, it is really the face of all living beings. I hope that the epidemic will end as soon as possible.
At this time, travel is not for sale, and recording and remembering is to frame the past travel-memories, frame them with wooden frames, and cherish them in your heart.
I wanted to go to Guangzhou for a long time. I accompanied my father to Thailand at the beginning of last year, and went to Yunnan in November this year. When I came back, I thought about it, if I didn't go now, it might be another year. I gritted my teeth and stamped my feet, and it was decided.
Guangzhou, also known as "Yangcheng" and "Huacheng", is a national historical and cultural city. It has been the seat of county, state and government governments since the Qin Dynasty. It has become the main port of the Maritime Silk Road since the third century AD. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was China's only foreign trade port.
Climate of Guangzhou: Located on the subtropical coast, the annual average temperature is 20-22 degrees Celsius. It is one of the large cities with the smallest annual average temperature difference in China. I just want to go in winter because of the climate.
ten days(January 4 - 13, 2020)The itinerary is as follows:

Day10 Guangzhou returns to Shanghai.
Before I went, I always felt that 10 days was enough. For the rest of the time, I still wanted to leisurely visit a bookstore and find several beautiful coffee shops. Unexpectedly, after learning more information along with the itinerary, I once had the idea of rescheduling the return ticket. Of course, I still came back as scheduled in the end. First, I was afraid of crowded people approaching the New Year, and secondly, I thought it would be best to have everything I wanted to do. (In the end, it turned out that I was lucky to have returned early, but I didn't expect the epidemic to develop so fast.)
However, in this way, the itinerary still had to be adjusted and compressed, and only one coffee shop was left. After all, there were also those in Shanghai. Except for waking up on the last morning and discovering a restaurant that I really loved so much, the rest of the restaurants basically followed the itinerary.
Purpose of arranging the trip:Museums are open on weekends-because many museums are closed on Mondays and there are relatively few people; Qinghui Garden and Wildlife World should be open on Mondays and Tuesdays as much as possible-because there are relatively few people; if transportation is inconvenient, try to sign up for a group. There are many groups for one-day tours on Ctrip, which is very suitable for a small group tour; if you sign up for a group, try to choose a small group tour, and it is best to bring explanations.
Foshan Ancestral Temple:
It was built in the Northern Song Dynasty and renovated and expanded many times during the Ming and Qing Dynasties to become a temple building with a complete system, rigorous structure, and strong local characteristics. The ancestral temple is dedicated to the Taoist God Zhenwu Xuantian.
Entering the door is the "Ye Wen Hall". Ye Wen's original name was Ye Jiwen. His ancestral home was in Sangyuan, Nanhai County, Guangdong Province. He was taught by Chen Huashun and Liang Bi, and was the founder of the Wing Chun Boxing system. In 1971, Ip Man's disciples established the "Wing Chun Sports Association", which integrated teaching, research and exchange of Wing Chun boxing techniques, and spread Wing Chun to the world with this as the center. There are many outstanding talents under the Yip family, especially Bruce Lee, who has become famous in the world with his extraordinary Chinese kung fu.
I have only learned this trick, do I still look so interesting?
If you go further in, you will see the Huang Feihong Memorial Hall. Huang Feihong was born in Nanhai County, Foshan City. He was a martial artist in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, a famous doctor in traditional Chinese medicine surgery, and a famous lion dancer.
I have read a lot of film and television works about Huang Feihong, his and Thirteenth Aunt's stories. When I came here and saw the real prototype of Thirteenth Aunt, I was not disappointed.
The prototype of the Thirteenth Aunt is Huang Feihong's fourth wife, Mo Guilan. Mo Guilan has been fond of martial arts since she was a child. At a lion dance performance conference, 19-year-old Mo Guilan met Huang Feihong, who is 35 years older than her. Because Huang Feihong had three unfortunate marriages, his three wives all died inexplicably shortly after their marriage. Therefore, Huang Feihong was regarded by others as a traitor to his wife. Therefore, although Huang Feihong married Mo Guilan openly, he still called him a concubine.
Huang Feihong was a representative Hongquan master in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. In addition, Huang Feihong learned medical skills from his father since he was a child. Huang Qiying's medical skills were mainly the art of bruises. Based on his father's medical skills, Huang Feihong improved the art of bruises and formed his own medical system for preventing and treating bruises. In 1886, Huang Feihong set up the "Baozhilin" medical clinic in Ren 'an Street, Guangzhou.
In 1925, Huang Feihong died of illness in Guangzhou at the age of 69. Mo Guilan had no children in her life. After her husband died, she went to Hong Kong to open Huang Feihong Martial Arts Center, Mo Guilan Fitness Center, Bao Zhilin, etc. During the War of Resistance, funds were also raised to support the War of Resistance. In 1970, the 78-year-old Mo Guilan was invited by the TV station "Happy Tonight" to perform the unique skills taught by Huang Feihong, and competed with several martial arts young men without losing out at all. In 1982, Mo Guilan died of illness in Hong Kong at the age of 91.
Lion Awakening:
Lion awakening is a traditional folk culture that integrates martial arts, dance, music, etc. The main processes include "picking green","drinking water on high platforms","lions spitting balls","stepping on plum blossoms", etc. Nanhai County, Guangdong Province is the authentic birthplace of lion dance. There is a lion dance performance in the square at the entrance of the Huang Feihong Memorial Hall every morning and afternoon. The performance started at 10 a.m. on the day I went and lasted for about half an hour.
Green picking is a fixed part of traditional Chinese lion dance activities and the climax of lion dance activities. During the lion dance, especially during the Spring Festival, the "lion" hunts "hanging high or placed in a basin through a series of performances. Because" Lishi "is often accompanied by green vegetables (mostly lettuce), it is named" picking green ".
After the lion dance performance, you will see the main hall of Foshan Ancestral Temple. There are many precious works of art in the hall, such as 70 pieces of 30 kinds of weapons, copper walls and iron walls of honor. The architectural decoration of the ancestral temple uses a large number of pottery sculptures, wood carvings, brick carvings, gray sculptures, etc., and there are sculptures with opera stories as the main theme on both sides.
Lingying Paifang
It was built in the 2nd year of Jingtai in the Ming Dynasty. Emperor Jingtai of the Ming Dynasty granted the ancestral temple a Lingying Temple. The archway building is of a three-story, three-story style, standing majestic, with a large number of arch arches used between the eaves columns, and the flying eaves are stacked with green eaves, flowing over the sky. There is a vertical plaque with the word "Imperial Edict" in the middle of the top floor of the front. The lower level writes the words "Holy Land" and "Lingying" horizontally. The top floor on the back has a vertical plaque with the words "Enchantment and Sacrifice". It has a strong character and an extremely strong structure. It has endured a magnitude 12 typhoon without being harmed.
Jinxiang Pond is located in front of Lingying Archway and was dug in the eighth year of Zhengde of the Ming Dynasty. It was originally an earthen pond. During the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt into a stone pond. There is a stone statue of a turtle and snake symbolizing the North Emperor in the pool.
Opening hours of the ancestral temple: 08:30-18:00
Tickets: 20 yuan
Tour time: 2-3 hours
Shunde Qinghui Garden:
The Lingnan-style building built in the Ming Dynasty was originally the residence of Huang Shijun, the No. 1 scholar. The existing buildings are mainly built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. The word "Qinghui" takes the kindness of parents like sunshine and Xi. Qinghui Garden covers an area of 22,000 square meters and is one of the four famous parks in Lingnan.
There are lovely fruit trees entering the park, giving you a sense of intimacy.
Many buildings in Qinghui Garden use a large number of Qing Dynasty colored carved glass. Among them, the set of "Eight Scenes of Yangcheng" preserved in the park, assessed during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736 - 1795), is a set of ancient Yangcheng Eight Scenes of the Qing Dynasty that only exists in the world. The colorful carved glass treasures of the eight scenic spots of Yangcheng have been initially identified as national-level protected cultural relics.
The flower windows of Qinghui Garden:
The detailed picture is really beautiful.
It was a small group trip that day, and the happiest thing was that someone helped me take photos, la ~~~
The remains plaque of the Zhuangyuan Hall in Qinghui Garden was inscribed by Liang Tongshu, a calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty.
There is no shortage of pavilions and pavilions. Although they are similar to Jiangnan gardens, they still have strong Lingnan characteristics.
People in Guangdong love to raise turtles, taking the good meaning of their "longevity". When the sun is shining, they grab the land to bask in the sun.
There are still three old turtles in Qinghui Garden. How old are they? Guess.
The guide said he had forgotten to bring bread, but I said I had it. This is the sense of security that people traveling alone lack. They have everything on them except thermos cups and dry food, as well as commonly used medicines such as Band-Aid charging cables and charging treasure.
If you swim slowly, you can basically spend half a day. If you don't live in Foshan, you can arrange a day trip to these two attractions and try Shunde sashimi fish at noon.
Shunde cuisine:
Shunde, because of the tip of China, countless people come here to explore delicious food. We had limited time and chose a more representative fish raw.
Eat one fish three times: eat raw fish, eat fried fish bones, and make porridge with fish meat. It is delicious.
Before going there, I also saw the routes recommended by some experts, but after entering the park, I found that as long as I master a few principles, the planning route of the park is quite reasonable. Except for the theater performances, I visited 90% of the spots from the opening of the park to 5 p.m. and shared my own experience:
- Whether you drive by yourself or follow a group, try to enter the park from the north gate. The advantage is that there are relatively few people at the north gate. You can take the small train first and there is no queue to enter the park.
- I purchased a ticket package on Ctrip, including an adult ticket and a service for gathering and delivering to the North Gate at the Changlong subway entrance in Hanxi. If you want to watch the circus performance in the evening, you can purchase a ticket separately;
- Try not to go on weekends or holidays;
- Get a map when you enter the park and pay attention to the Mini programs in the park. After entering the park at the north gate, you can take a small train to tour the wildlife area. Start from the Jurassic Forest and follow the recommended route;
- When I was riding the small train, I saw private cars and taxis visiting the wildlife area by themselves. Similar charging services should be provided in the park. If you are interested, you can contact in advance to confirm;
- I'm not in a hurry to take the sky cable car first. I walked to Panda Park Station at 3 p.m. and took the cable car around the park for about 30 minutes. I can have a rest. The cable car mainly takes an air cruise and gets off wherever I go. The day I went was Tuesday. Maybe I was lucky that there was basically no one in line, and the cable car didn't have to share cars with others, so the experience was super good;
- Food is not allowed to be brought into the park, but water can be brought, but the price of food in the park is extremely expensive.
- The park can borrow trolleys and wheelchairs. The ramp design is reasonable and convenient to implement, and the toilets are very clean (this must be greatly praised);
- Some recommended points: In addition to small trains and cable cars, I personally prefer giraffes, koala gardens, happy forest (performance), panda park and flamingo area. Some other animal interactions do not go there specifically. Basically, if you go anywhere, just watch for a while and relax.
Because I love you so much and have inner dialogue, I hope you will live happily and well.
Come and see you again if I have the opportunity!
The itinerary looks quite tense, but it's actually okay. Because it was a five-person group, it also solved my transportation problem. It started at 8:30 and ended at 6:00 p.m.
The director we met this time was good and he was very patient in explaining. He did not rush us during the entire tour. We had dinner near Liwan, so we chose freely.
Whampoa Military Academy:
Transportation: Metro: Get off at Yuzhu Station on Lines 5 and 13 and walk to Yuzhu Wharf, take the ferry to Changzhou Island or Huangpu Ancient Port, and then walk to the scenic spots.
The former site is located on Changzhou Island, Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China. It was originally the school buildings of the Army Primary School and the Naval School of the Qing Dynasty.
The style of the gate is very simple. The words "Army Officer Academy" are written by Tan Yankai on the horizontal plaque above the center.
The school headquarters is a Lingnan ancestral temple style courtyard building with a two-story brick and wood structure, three roads and four entrances, that is, three main passages and four rows of houses. On the east and west sides of the north-south central axis, the houses are arranged in the same form and symmetrical to each other. The four rows of houses are connected by corridors, surrounded by walls, and have a building area of 1060 square meters.
There is a couplet in the principal's living room in the school headquarters: "Climb and look far away from the sea, and immediately set the Central Plains." This was given to Chiang Kai-shek by Yu Youren, a famous calligrapher, a veteran of the Kuomintang, and was deeply loved by Chiang Kai-shek.
There is a two-story brick-and-wood building on the west side of the gate. It was originally a dormitory for faculty members and now displays photos of the school's history and some activities.
Experience the tram:
Driving route: Guangzhou Tower--Guangzhou Tower East--Liede Bridge South--Pati--Nanfeng--Exhibition West--Exhibition Center--Exhibition East--Pazhou Bridge South--Pazhou Tower--Wanshengwei
We got on the train and got off at Guangzhou Tower Station at Wanshengwei. The tram has a one-ticket system for the entire journey, and the fare is 2 yuan.
Liwan Lake Park
Historically, lychee was planted in large quantities in this area. The park was built in 1958 and has a total area of about 27 hectares, with the lake surface accounting for 62%. Accompanied by Liwan Lake Park is Panxi Restaurant, one of the three major garden restaurants in Guangzhou City.
The park is very close to Xiguan Dawu. If you don't go to Whampoa Military Academy, you can also arrange a separate day to visit the Xiguan-Shangxiajiu-Yongqingfang area.
An uncle from the same regiment was interesting and asked the guide whether these grains grew? He thought it was hung up, haha.
Further on, you can visit the Xiguan House, which is known as "Miss Xiguan-Young Master Dongguan".
Xiguan Daya, also known as Lingnan Ancient Daya, is a traditional dwelling built in Xiguan (Liwan) area of Guangzhou with Lingnan characteristics. Most of the Xiguan houses are brick-and-wood structures, with green brick feet, and the tall main entrance is inlaid with granite. Its plan layout follows the traditional form of a main hall house in the Central Plains, and basically spreads out in the depth direction.
Rare mahogany furniture, exquisite wood carvings, Manchurian windows and sill windows with local characteristics, their unique layout form has a strong Lingnan charm.
Chen Family Temple:
The Chen Academy, commonly known as the Chen Family Temple, was built in the 14th year of Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1888) and completed in the 20th year of Guangxu (1894). It is a "joint ancestral temple" jointly donated by the Chen clans from all over Guangdong Province. Its establishment mainly provides temporary accommodation for Chen clan children who participated in donations to go to provincial cities to prepare for imperial examinations, elect candidates, pay taxes, litigation and other matters. In return for donations, these Chen clans could place their ancestral tablets in shrines in Chen Academy.
Chen Academy is the largest, richly decorated and well-preserved traditional Lingnan ancestral hall building in Guangdong, covering an area of 15000 square meters. The Chenjia Temple embodies the masterpieces of Guangdong folk architectural decoration art and is famous for its exquisite decoration and grandeur. Various decorations such as wood carvings, stone carvings, brick carvings, clay sculptures, pottery sculptures, and iron casting craftsmanship are integrated into the majestic hall and are known as the "Pearl of Lingnan Architectural Art".
Gray sculpture is a kind of architectural decoration art widely used in traditional buildings in the Pearl River Delta. Folk artists use lime as the main raw material, add fermented straw or straw paper, and after repeated tempering to make grass tendon gray or paper tendon gray. Then design patterns according to the needs of the building space and decorative parts, and make on-site production in the parts that need to be decorated.
The total total length of the gray sculptures of the Chen Academy is 2562 meters and the total area is about 2448 square meters. It is mainly used on ridge bases, gable ridges, covered door roofs, wing rooms and courtyard corridors, and the roofs of the east and west houses. The scale is large. Crown.
The word Ju in Juxian Hall is reversed to avoid the hook of the word "Ju", which is like a knife pointing at a wise man.
Between the two buildings, the gable walls are towering, forming a passage with blue sky and white clouds above them, meaning "straight up the blue clouds", commonly known as "Qingyun Lane". At the same time, it also plays a role in dividing the building space and preventing fire.
As a Guangdong Folk Arts Museum, Chen Academy has been holding various exhibitions in the academy, occasionally displaying the collection of Guangdong folk handicrafts such as Shiwan art pottery, colored porcelain, Chaozhou gold lacquer wood carving, Guangzhou embroidery, and etched glass.
Sand face:
Shamian was a key trade and tourist destination at home and abroad in China during the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. After the Opium War, it became the British and French Concessions after the eleventh year of Xianfeng of the Qing Dynasty (1861). Over the past century, more than ten countries have established consulates in Shamian, and nine foreign banks and more than 40 foreign banks have operated in Shamian. If you like to take photos, you can stroll here for a while.
The guide asked us how long we wanted to spend, but my lovely five-person group friend said it would be about 10 minutes. It was really dizzy. Fortunately, the guide understood me and said that 10 minutes was too short, or maybe 45 minutes, so I finally walked through it.
In order to find a bathroom, I accidentally walked to the White Swan Hotel and mentioned the White Swan-it was built by investment and cooperation between Mr. Huo Yingdong and the Guangdong Province Government. The hotel opened in 1983 and is China's first five-star hotel with Sino-foreign cooperation.
At the end of a happy day's journey, Tianzi Pier encountered a sunset, perfect!
Yuexiu Park:
Transportation: Yuexiu Park Station on Metro Line 2
Play time: 4 hours
Don't think that Yuexiu Park is just a park.
sea-suppressing tower
Zhenhai Tower is known as the first scenic spot in Lingnan. Zhenhai Building is called the "five-story building" because it is five-story high. In 1956, it was changed to Guangzhou Museum.
Zhenhai Tower is the most intact, most powerful and most ethnic ancient building in Guangzhou. It is 28 meters high and 31 meters wide, with a total of five floors. The first and second floors are made of red sandstone strips, and the third floors and above are brick walls. The outer walls are reduced layer by layer, like buildings and towers. The red walls and green tiles are simple and unique. In front of the building, there is a pair of two-meter-high red sandstone stone lions carved from the Ming Dynasty.
During the Qing Dynasty, Zhenhai Tower was always the tallest building in Guangzhou. Climbing to the roof, you can see the Pearl River and Baiyun Mountain.
Zhenhai Tower was built by Zhu Liangzu, Marquis of Yongjia, in 1380. It was originally named "Wanghai Tower" and later named "Zhenhai Tower", which means to guard the sea.
The collections of the Guangzhou Museum are mainly unearthed cultural relics excavated since the founding of the People's Republic of China. After visiting, I felt different from other museums that many of the exhibits bore the mark of trade.
Copper Hudrip (replica), the original has been transferred to the National Museum of China. It is the largest and most complete set of timekeepers in our country. It was forged in the third year of Yanyou of Emperor Renzong of the Yuan Dynasty (1316). It has been placed in Gongbei Tower in the center of Guangzhou City (now the middle section of Beijing Road) from the Yuan Dynasty to the end of Qing Dynasty. It serves the people every day to record the times.
Put a replica of the current Beijing Road display.
Tongcao watercolor painting uses Tongcao tablets as the painting medium, first depicting the outline, and then filling in various watercolor pigments. What is Tongcao tablet? Tongcao tablets are painting materials processed through the stem pith of vegetation (sponge-like tissue in the trunk). Tongcao painting first appeared in Guangzhou in the Qing Dynasty, but gradually declined, and almost disappeared in China after the 20th century.
Laisi, a traditional Chinese craft of gold and silver manufacturing, also known as "flower carving", is the most exquisite metal craftsmanship. Craftsmen draw gold and silver into silk, then weave them into plaits or various grid-like structures, and then weld them on the utensils. The three-dimensional feeling is strong and dazzling.
Guangzhou was the first stop for the self-ringing bell to land in China. At that time, craftsmen quickly mastered the manufacturing process of Western clocks. This clock plays music every 15 minutes. People in the pavilion revolve around. One person walks out with a congratulatory message of "Seeking Money and Entering Treasures" in his hand. There are herdsmen leading sheep on the bridge, and ducks playing on the clear waves under the bridge.
This bowl is a high-quality product sold to Europe during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. It is a special vessel for serving guest wine. It depicts a total of 202 Qing Dynasty figures with different looks and a large number of Lingnan fruits, flowers and birds.
Although I am ordinary, I am the city flower of Guangzhou City. I am 133 years old this year! Kapok's flower language is to cherish the people around you, cherish the happiness in front of you, and don't regret it after losing it, it will be too late by then.
Wuyang statue
The Legend of the Five Rams is a myth and legend about the ancient city of Guangzhou. The Five Rams have been used to call the city of Guangzhou in Tang poetry, and the legendary story can be traced back to the records of the Jin Dynasty. There are multiple versions of the legend of the Five Rams, the more common ones are:
In the eighth year of Zhou Yi (887 BC), Guangzhou was vast with sea and sky and deserted everywhere. There were years of famine, fields were deserted, agriculture was lost, and the people were in dire straits. One day, the sky of the South China Sea suddenly filled with immortal music, soft and melodious. Then five more colorful auspicious clouds appeared, with five immortals wearing five-color colored clothes and riding five-color immortal sheep. Each sheep came to Chu Ting with excellent ears of rice that came out of one stalk and six out of six in its mouth. The immortal gave ears of rice to the people of Guangzhou and wished that there would be a bumper harvest and no famine here. I wish the immortal to ride on the colorful clouds and fly into the sky. Because the five immortal sheep were attached to the world, they turned into stones and stayed behind, and have always blessed Guangzhou with good weather and rain. Since then, Guangzhou has become the most prosperous place in Lingnan. This is why Guangzhou has the names of "Wuyang City","Yangcheng" and "Suicheng".
The souvenir shop next to you can send postcards, and it has become a good habit for me to collect local refrigerator stickers and postmarks wherever I go. Of course, usually when I get home, the postcard is still on the way.
Walking to the Wuyang Statue, you will be very close to the west gate of Yuexiu Park. In fact, there are other attractions in Yuexiu Park, but I have looked after everything I want to see. I am hungry, so I will withdraw.
Next stop: Shunde pot rice
After visiting Yuexiu Park, I searched for nearby restaurants. This place was not within walking distance, but it had a good reputation. I took a taxi and left.
It's not easy to find after getting off the bus. The store is in an alley, so you can ask for directions. It was exactly 1 o'clock when you arrived. The afternoon market peak is coming to an end, and there are no waiting tables to eat directly.
When it comes to traveling alone, except that no one takes pictures, it's too difficult to order. Although morning tea is quite suitable, you can't have two pieces of tea every day. Fortunately, I have freedom. Today, young pigeons will be stewed with coconut and shredded bamboo chicken will be cooked with rice the day after tomorrow. It's Yuexiu Park's turn, so I just haven't eaten pot rice.
Recommendation: Smooth chicken/cured meat/flower meat series pot rice liver soup
Price: A large bowl of wolfberry liver soup is 10 yuan, and the price of various pot rice is mostly between 20 and 30 yuan, which is extremely cost-effective.
Taste: The bottom of the pot is just right, the chicken is tender, the bacon is very fragrant, and the pan is dry.
You can't go too late. The slippery chickens were sold out a few minutes after I ordered the order. Although the store is very inconspicuous, the business is still online. I like to find local food that local people like to eat most on the street corners and alleys. I probably like to bring some flavor of life to my freedom.
Eat your fill and visit Hanzhuang City. In fact, I was confused about whether to go because I didn't plan to buy clothes. It's just that Guangzhou, as the largest clothing wholesale and trading center, is very curious about the price of some of the clothes we usually see in shopping malls and various websites here. There was no time to squeeze in for two hours and went to UUS.
There are too many wholesale markets in Guangzhou. I chose her because the train station was relatively close to me at that time, and the main Korean clothing industry attracted me.
At the end of the year, all major stalls are vigorously promoting sales. Except for jackets, you can't try on other clothes. See the bag of clothes on the floor? Many shops on Taobao buy goods here, but the prices are not all very cheap. If some T-shirts are of good quality, they will be priced at the same price as sweaters.
It's true that down jackets are very cheap, but you need your keen eyes, and you can negotiate the price of clothes. For a layman like me, I can choose a few basings and T-shirts and flash, so that the store can express them. Because it is the end of the year, merchants are not indifferent because of retail sales. Shopping malls have both men's and women's clothes, including bags and underwear. The price is very attractive, but it's just a disadvantage not to try it. Who asked them to be a wholesale market ~~
By way of example, there is a children's clothing wholesale market near Liwan. If you don't go, you can't judge the quality and price. The group members of the small group tour that day left the group to go shopping and seemed to have gained a lot.
I couldn't get a taxi after I got out, and the navigation function was online. In Guangzhou and Yunnan, Baidu Maps is simply my soul mate. The search found a bus stop more than 200 meters nearby. As soon as he got on the bus, one-third of the bus were black. In fact, I learned before going there that there are more black people near Xiaobei and the railway station. There is no regional discrimination, but this is the first time I ride in the same car with so many black people, and I still need to adapt psychologically.
I pretended to be calm and sat in the last row of the carriage. In fact, after a few days of playing, Guangzhou still gave me a great sense of security. It is safe for many parties to understand the public security situation in Guangzhou and the life of black people in Guangzhou. Looking at the black people sitting in twos and threes in the car, some were more casual, with their feet cocked and chatting with their families on video; some were more regular and silently listening to music.
It was an interesting experience.
Refreshing up and introducing the last itinerary of the day--Yaozhou Site。
Actually, I wanted to go to Yaozhou early in the morning because it was very close to my place of residence. However, I was surprised that it was open quite late. I only found that it was open all day long. I had to adjust it to go to Yuexiu first and go there again when I come back. I forgot the opening time of the park. I only remember that the park opens from 10:00 to 10:30 and closes at 17:00 p.m.
If you visit, it will take about half an hour. The biggest advantage of arriving at 4:30 in the afternoon is that there are few people and it is very happy to take pictures.
As soon as I arrived in Guangzhou, I received news that Yindeng was about to close down. Fortunately, I stayed for one day and let me catch the last train.
I have never been to Yindeng before, but for a time-honored brand, this is my first morning tea in Guangzhou. I hope to experience what it feels like to have a store that has been in operation for many years and suddenly closed.
The place where I live is less than one kilometer away from Guangzhou Hotel. Since it is Sunday, there are not many pedestrians on the road. I arrived too late, but fortunately I still had the number to pick up, so I stopped picking up tickets a few minutes later. Speaking of which, it's still lucky. There have always been some small happiness that is just a few minutes away in the past ten days.
I was shocked when I opened the elevator door. I estimated that table 64 would be until noon. I was used to the rhythm of Shanghai, so I asked foolishly: "Can I work together tables alone?"
"Beauty, we don't share tables ~~"
Okay, I was wrong. But I can't wait foolishly and ask again,"How long will it take to wait for 60 tables?"
"I don't know about this ~~~"
After searching, I found that it was not far from Sacré Coeur Cathedral. I felt that I would be back in an hour or two, so I had to grit my heart and trouble others again. You can reserve your seat and change your status to going out. It's very user-friendly. Diners kept coming to pick up their numbers along the way, some people liked the number in my hand, and some people dragged their luggage here. I'm really sorry.
In order not to interrupt, let's talk about the morning tea experience after returning first. It was nearly 11 o'clock when the Sacred Heart returned. Everyone was at a table, and she suddenly felt a little excited. In fact, some signboards have been sold out, so we have to settle for the next best. After all, what I come here today is because of feelings.
Because it was my first and last time to come to this store, I also added walnut buns. In fact, I knew I couldn't finish them all. I just felt that it was so easy to come here and the taste was so good, so I should order more. Looking at the packed hall, I was the only one who came alone, and I suddenly understood the rule of not sharing tables for morning tea. Some traditions should be adhered to.
I asked the waiter and found that the silver lamp should be turned on again, but I haven't found a suitable store yet. I took the check form for that day home as a souvenir.
People who are too sensitive are trouble.
Sacred Heart Cathedral:
Shishi Sacred Heart Cathedral is located on Yide Road, the center of Guangzhou. The foundation laying ceremony was officially held on Sacre Heart Day on June 18, 1863, so it was named Sacre Heart Cathedral. It took 25 years to complete. It is the grandest and most distinctive cathedral in the Catholic Diocese of Guangzhou. The Sacred Heart of the Stone Room was designed by French designers and built by Chinese craftsmen.
The front is a typical three-stage pattern of left and right and three-stage patterns of upper and lower. The base is three pointed arches, the central gate is the largest, and the left and right doors are symmetrical. These three doors and the horizontal doors on the east and west sides are all stacked sharp ticket doors, with a strong perspective effect.
There is an exquisite stone carving pattern on the lintel, and a huge rose window in the middle. The symmetrical windows on both sides and the two windows on the third floor are all palm-shaped. They are dark red as the gate and are also decorated with sharp coupons. Between the upper and lower parts, orderly railings are engraved.
Colored windowsThe front and east and west facades of the church each have a round rose window with a diameter of nearly 7 meters. All doors and windows are inlaid with deep red, yellow, blue, green and other colorful glass made in France. This glass prevents strong outdoor light from entering, keeping the indoor light soft all year round, forming a kind and solemn religious atmosphere. This is one of the characteristics of Gothic churches.
Sacré Coeur Cathedral in Shishi is the largest cathedral in the Catholic Diocese of Guangzhou, one of the most magnificent twin-spire Gothic buildings in China, and one of the four all-stone Gothic buildings in the world (the other three are Notre Dame de Paris, Westminster Church, Cologne Cathedral). Since all the walls and columns of the church are made of granite, it is also called the "Stone Room" or "Sacre Coeur Church of Christ in Shishi" and "Stone Room Catholic Church".
The church built in 1861 at a cost of 400,000 francs is really not cheap. Since it was Sunday and my fellow members were attending church, I walked around the church first.
Walking into the church, there are 10 giant stone pillars on the left and right supporting the crossing and sharply rising pointed arches, so that the entire interior of the church retains the upward rising feeling consistent with the appearance. The top of the hall is highest in the middle and slightly lower on both sides, showing an undulating trend.
There are round rose windows with a diameter of 7 meters on the front, east and west of the stone chamber, inlaid with dark red, dark blue, purple-yellow and other glass. The heart of the window grilles is a small cross, with a total of 24 radiating petals. There are 12 small circles on the top between the petals, and 12 small crosses between the circles, forming a rose pattern. What a romantic window!
After lunch, go straight to the ruins of the Royal Palace of South Vietnam, not far from the Sacred Heart Cathedral. For visiting the site, let's introduce it together with the Nanyue King Museum!
Dafo Temple:
I went to the Great Buddha Ancient Temple on the first day in Guangzhou. Living near Wenming Road on Beijing Road is really convenient. Not only are there many historic sites around, but subways and buses also extend in all directions.
Guangzhou Dafo Temple was built in the Southern Han Dynasty (917-971 AD). It is named Xinzang Temple. It was built for the twenty-eight constellations in the sky by the King of the Southern Han Dynasty. The ancient temple is located at No. 21 Huixin Middle Street, Huifu East Road (on the west side of Beijing Road and just south of Guangzhou Department Store). It is hard to imagine such an ancient temple hidden behind the lively commercial street. Noise and silence are separated by a wall.
The Daxiong Hall faces north to south, with a construction area of 1200 square meters. It is still the crown of Lingnan. Although it has been eroded by wind and rain for more than 300 years, its style still exists. The high-quality wood donated by King Annan (present-day Vietnam) is still basically intact to this day.
I went to several temples in Guangzhou, and everyone received a bouquet of incense when entering the park. Of course, the sesame oil depends on your mind. In addition to offering incense, I saw many people bringing kumquats and peanuts to offer. You need to visit and pay homage to the Buddha Ancient Temple at least twice (day and night). Although you don't want to use the temple as a tourist attraction, the night view is really beautiful.
You during the day:
Put down my luggage and come and say goodbye at the first stop. I'm still very pious.
After lighting up:
Liurong Temple:
Tickets:Free, give a bouquet of incense
Opening Hours:08:00-17:00
Transportation:Metro Line 2 to "Memorial Hall" Station, Bus No. 29, 215, 253, Peak Express Line 9, Guang 12, and Tourist Bus Line 1 get off at "Liurong Road" Station
Usually I prefer to take the bus and feel more like a local.
History of the Ancient Temple:
The temple was built in 420 - 479 AD (Southern Song Dynasty) and named "Guangzhou Baozheng Temple".
In 988 AD (the first year of Duangong of the Northern Song Dynasty), the temple was rebuilt, and a bronze statue was cast based on the true body of the Sixth Ancestor of Caoxi. The temple was rebuilt and completed in the second year of Duangong, so it was renamed "Jinghui Temple". At that time, there were six ancient banyan trees in the temple, which was already called "Six Banyan Temple" among the people, but at that time it was just a common name, not a temple name.
In 1100 AD (the third year of Yuanfu of the Northern Song Dynasty), the great literary hero Su Dongpo returned north from his exile in Hainan. When visiting the temple through Guangzhou, he wrote an inscription for the temple at the request of the temple monk Daocong. He saw the six banyan trees in the temple as green as cover, intertwined with their roots and extraordinary momentum, so he happily wrote the word "Six Banyan trees".
The flower tower has an octagonal shape in plan, with an exterior of 9 floors and 8 floors of dark layers, making a total of 17 floors. It is a pavilions-style brick-and-wood tower with a wall and a flat seat structure. The tower is 57.6 meters high and is the tallest existing ancient pagoda of the Song Dynasty in Lingnan. The pagoda was cast in the 18th year of the Yuan Dynasty Zhizheng (1358).
Guangxiao Temple:
Guangxiao Temple is very close to Liurong Temple, about 400 meters walk. Following the navigation, I accidentally entered through the back door of the ancient temple. When I reached the door, I quickly bought the tickets.
During the Three Kingdoms period, Yu Fanyu, the commander of Wu Qi, lived here to give lectures and planted many myrobarus trees. People at that time called it Yuyuan, also known as Helin. Yu Fan's descendants turned his house into a temple, named the Stop Temple. In the 21st year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1151), it was renamed Guangxiao Temple. There is a saying among Guangzhou people that "there was no Yangcheng, there was Guangxiao first."
The architectural structure of Guangxiao Temple is rigorous, the halls are majestic and magnificent, especially the many cultural relics and historical sites.
Now there are Dharma Well and Navigation Monument in the temple. Dharma was born in Southern Tianzhu. It is said that he was once a prince of Southern Tianzhu. After becoming a monk, he devoted himself to Mahayana Buddhism. He was the 28th ancestor of Indian Zen. He traveled across the ocean and drifted at sea for three years before coming to China to spread Buddhist ideas everywhere. Eventually, he became famous around the world for his pioneering Buddhist tradition. Dharma is known as "Mahayana Buddhism, the ancestor of Chinese tradition." Guangxiao Temple has also become the starting point for Chinese tradition.
More than half a century after he left Guangxiao Temple in Tammoyashe in 505 AD, the Buddhist monk Zhiyao, an eminent monk from India, sailed to Guangzhou. He brought a Bodhi sapling and planted it in the temple. The original tree was blown down by a hurricane during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. This tree in front of me is a sun tree that was transplanted from Nanhua Temple to its original location.
In 676 AD, in the first year of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Yifeng, the eminent monk Hui Neng, came here because of his admiration. On the eighth day of April that year, Master Hui Neng fell his hair in Guangxiao Temple. He left behind a philosophy of wind and emotion.
That day was the birthday of Buddha Sakyamuni, and a Dharma meeting was being held in Guangxiao Temple. A gust of wind blew, and the prayer flags in the temple fluttered in the wind. Seeing this scene, Master Yinzong asked everyone to share the meaning of the Dharma. With two monks as representatives, each insisted on their own words. One said that the flag was moving, and the other said that the wind was moving. At this time, Huineng stood up and said,"This is not the flag moving, nor is the wind moving. People, their hearts are moving." When these words were said, they shocked everyone. From then on, Huineng opened the Southern Sect of Buddhism in Guangxiao Temple and was known as the "Sixth Ancestors of Zen".
To commemorate Huineng, believers built a burial tower in Guangxiao Temple to commemorate Huineng. The Yifa Tower is a brick tower resembling a pavilion, with an octagonal and seven floors and a height of 7.8 meters. It was the place where the sixth ancestor, Huineng, buried his hair after cutting his hair and receiving ordination. The Baifa Pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty and has a very exquisite shape.
After coming out of Guangxiao Temple, I took the bus to the vicinity of Enning Road. I relied on navigation. Nowadays, the most indispensable thing for free travel is mobile phones and charging treasure.
Yongqingfang:
It's very similar to Tianzifang in Shanghai. It's a relatively new place and closer to Shangxiajiu. Girls should love it more.
Take a casual walk and visit the Cantonese Opera Art Museum. You can visit it for free with your ID card. I am not a Cantonese opera enthusiast. I just looked at it and accidentally fell in love with a carambola.
When I came out, I found Chen Tianji nearby. After walking through a living area, I arrived after a 10-minute walk.
Fortunately, I only ordered fish skin. When I came out, I still had rice cakes and Wenji chicken waiting for me. It's really distressing. At least half of the chickens will be sold. The clerk said that you should either eat them alone and pack them. I really want to tell her that I can eat it alone... Still sat down.
"There is no banquet without chickens"It is the mantra of Cantonese people at the dinner table! The taste is not tender, and it is more suitable for smooth use. Coupled with dipping ingredients, most of them were eventually eliminated. I thought this at that time. I couldn't move until I had enough to eat.
Continue your journey, next stopdongshankou。
Transportation: Metro Dongshankou Station (this station is very labyrinth, it is recommended to ask the staff)
I left the station at Exit E and walked to Dongshan Building Complex for about 15 minutes. In fact, I didn't read many strategies before I came here. I only knew that there were many bungalows in Dongshankou, and I wanted to find a cafe to relax.
It's Friday, there are not many people here, and the sun is just right. It's very suitable for young literary and artistic people to have a whine here. As many as 400 historical buildings are still preserved here. It is the largest existing modern building complex in Guangzhou combining Chinese and Western low-rise courtyard-style, including Mingyuan, Kuiyuan, Jueyuan, Qingyuan...
There was no check-in task and walked to Kui Garden.
As I walked, my favorite small windows, small shops, paths, small flowers appeared...
Looking for a cafe, I found a residential area with beautiful flowers and plants, and I never tire of seeing street life.
I seriously doubt whether going upstairs and downstairs is the same family? This style is too uniform.
A school that is a bit awesome and a bit beautiful
The Memorial Hall of the Communist Party of China opposite Kuiyuan recorded slogans back and forth for a long time.
Finally came to my Owl Cafe to rest.
Is the mission over for today? Still, I stopped by the "Millennium Ancient Road Ruins" on my way home. On the way home, I just passed the "city origin" on the way. By the way, I drove another 20,000 steps this day.
Back on Beijing Road, I take the subway to Park Front Station, and when I come out, I will see the People's Park and the "City Origin" sign.
Keep moving forward and walk for a few minutes and you will see it."Millennium Ancient Road Site”。
Why are there so many historic sites near Beijing Road? Because Beijing Road is located in the center of Guangzhou City, it was the earliest location in history where Guangzhou City was established. Currently located around Beijing Road and Jiaoyu Road are: Qin Panyu City Site, Qin and Han Shipyard Site, Western Han Nanyue State Palace Site Site, Tang and Qing Dynasty Navy Building Site, Southern Han Imperial Garden, Ming Great Buddha Temple, Ming City God Temple, Ming Dynasty Da Nan Gate Site, Qing Dynasty Lujiang Academy, Guangzhou Uprising Memorial Hall, etc. There are more than ten cultural relics and monuments with high historical and cultural value from more than ten dynasties.
The ancient road ruins are mainly the 11-story pavement of the five dynasties since the Southern Han Dynasty and the base site of Gongbei Tower in the Song Dynasty. I wonder if the road we are walking now will one day be locked in a glass cover?
Friends who want to go to this line must reserve a whole day. It's a bit far.
Transportation: Take the subway to Shiqiao Station, change to Fan 7 or Fan 7B to get to Shawan, Fan 67 to get to Baomo Garden.
If it was a regular route, I would suggest you to visit Shawan first, but the day I went was the weekend, and suddenly a minibus arrived, which can go directly to Baomo Garden or Shawan. The single price is 5 yuan. The driver said that this line would be used on holidays and weekends. Because Baomo Garden was farther away, he changed his plan and went to Baomo Garden first. There is a direct bus at the entrance of Baomo Garden to Shawan.
Tickets: 54 yuan (Compared to me in Guangzhou, where the ticket barely exceeded 10 yuan, it is really a super expensive attraction)
Who makes others proud? Who made people's toilets look like this?
Don't blame me for muttering, it's not that I'm sorry for tickets, but they're actually not expensive in China. There is a reason for my complaint. Listen to me slowly.
Let's first introduce the history of Baomo Garden. Baomo Garden was Bao Xiangfu in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, and was later called Baomo Garden. The original Baomo Garden has long been destroyed, and the original site has been turned into a residential building. The Baomo Garden we see now was rebuilt in 1995.
When you enter the park, you will see koi and Kowloon Bridge. Next to the Kowloon Bridge is the huge brick carving "Tuyan and Singing Wall".
There were stalls selling fish food everywhere at the door. I didn't expect there to be so many koi carp inside. I fed and poured every bag of fish food all the way, but I didn't even reach the largest group at the entrance of the Zhao Tailai Collection Museum. Mr. Zhao Tailai is a British Chinese, an honorary citizen of Guangzhou City, and the eternal honorary director of Baomo Garden.
Then I might as well gather all the koi carp first.
When entering the park, it is recommended that you scan the APP and wifi in the park first and follow the guide tour, because the scenic spot is too big.
Bao Zheng was born in the second year of Xianping of Song Zhenzong (999 AD) and died in the seventh year of Laijiayou (1062). He was the prefect of Kaifeng and served as deputy envoy of the Privy Council. After his death, he was granted the title of Xiao Su. His official position is equivalent to today's mayor of Beijing City. I believe everyone knows Bao Gong's deeds, so I won't introduce them much.
Longtuguan, in the middle of the entrance is a huge red sandalwood screen. The screen is 3.5 meters high and 4.5 meters wide, and consists of 5 fans. In the middle is the statue of Bao Gong, which is upright and unyielding, making people feel awe-inspiring. There are two sentences from Bao Gong's poem next to it: "Pure heart is the root cause, and straight path is the plan." This is the essence of Bao Gong's poems.
The top of the screen is a cloud dragon, and the edge of the screen is an auspicious beast and a unicorn. The flowers and brocade ground are extremely delicate. The base of the screen is a Buddhist lotus Sumi seat, engraved with fine lotus petals, and the bottom is a grass dragon pattern in the Western Han style. Behind the screen are engraved with Bao Gong's family motto, an aerial view of Baomo Garden and a monument to the establishment of Baomo Garden.
BaomotangThe portrait of Bao Zheng hangs in the middle, and the two old elms in front of the hall are nearly a hundred years old. They are giant bonsai full of ancient tree style. Because it is strong and straight, and in front of the statue of Bao Zheng, it seems to be a defender of justice, so it is called General Tree. On top of the ridge of Quemotang beams, there is a group of portraits of Bao Zheng throwing inkstones and pottery carvings. You can see them clearly by standing on the Jianqing Bridge opposite Baomotang.
The Zidai Bridge spans Qingping Lake and is a traditional nine-hole stone arch bridge with exquisite workmanship. On both sides of the bridge railing are three-dimensional stone carvings with well-known stories such as "Chronicles of the Countries of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty","Romance of the Sui and Tang Dynasties" and "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". The grand archway in front of the Zidai Bridge is a monument built to commemorate Bao Zheng, a famous minister of the Northern Song Dynasty, and to celebrate the culture of Qing officials.
Although there are many treasures in Baomo Garden, some places are really... For example, one side is a lotus pond and the other is a swimming pool design. What's the situation?!
Normally I don't complain, but this is really a bit exaggerated. Another feeling is that there are many good things in the world, but piled up in one garden, there are too many themes. For example, there were some stalactite landscapes suddenly placed next to the rose garden that just appeared, and the crystal lights in the bathroom that I first photographed. Is it really necessary for a toilet in a scenic area?
In addition, there is also a large-scale embossed porcelain mural "Riverside Picture during the Qingming Festival" in the park, which is listed as the "Best in Guinness in the Great World."
When I come back, I will talk about its beauty. Flowers bloom all year round, small bridges and flowing water. It is a good place to relax, and Panyu is indeed a place with outstanding people.
Take a bus at the entrance of the scenic area and you will arrive at Shawan Ancient Town in about 25 minutes. Since it is an ancient town, it will always be a little commercial, but many stores are located on the outskirts of the ancient town and have no great impact.
What do you come to Shawan to see?
Founded in the Southern Song Dynasty, the ancient town is an ancient Lingnan cultural town with a history of more than 800 years. The existing streets and alleys are dotted with ancestral temples and ancient houses dotted in them, and the eaves and beams are cleverly decorated and carved. The ancient village pattern of the "Stone Steps and Alley" of Shawan Ancient Town is well preserved, and a large number of ancient buildings from the Ming, Qing and Republic of China periods are preserved.
If you just want to taste ginger buried milk and stroll around the ancient town, you don't need to buy tickets. If you want to enter and visit Liugentang, Sanmin Hall, Yabai Hall and Guangdong Music Museum, you can book tickets on Ctrip, which will be a little cheaper than the on-site. There is no need to buy electronic explanations, which is a bit useless.
Qingshuijing
As a landmark structure you can find as soon as you enter the ancient town, Qingshui Well was built around the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. It was originally a public well in the center of the ancient town. Facing north-south, it is about 3 meters wide, about 4 meters long, and 1.5 meters deep. It is vertical on all sides, flat-bottomed, and has no cover stone. There are well railings in the east, south and north, all made of white hemp stone.
In ancient times, Shawan was bounded by Qingshuijing, and to the south was the ancient bay, where the groundwater was salty water; to the north was the increasingly high-lying Qingluo Mountain, where the groundwater was mountain spring water. This well is also the junction of salty and fresh water in ancient Shawan, hence the name "Qingshui Well".
He's Grand Ancestral Hall
The He's Grand Ancestral Hall, also known as Liugentang, was built in the first year of Deyou in the Southern Song Dynasty (1275). It was destroyed and built several times later. The current scale was expanded during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. It is the grand ancestral hall of the He's clan in Shawan. The word "leave farming" comes from "Yin virtue is far from the ancestral family, and the heart is left for future generations to cultivate", which means building a temple to benefit future generations.
Sanmin Hall
It was built during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty and lasted for a hundred years from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. Sanren Hall became a gathering place for elites in Guangdong's music and folk arts circles, and also became the concert hall in Shawan, the birthplace of Guangdong music.
So what exactly is Sanmin?
Sanmin, also known as "Shanmin", is a traditional tree species with a long history of planting in the Pearl River Delta. It looks like carambola and has extremely sour juice. It has always been in the shade. Because the Cantonese word "good sour" and "good grandson" are homophonic, the Sanmin tree is usually symbolized by its predecessors as "many sons and many grandchildren." There is a sun-dried Sanmin fruit sold at the door (it's really sour when you taste it for yourself). If you use it to soak in water or make soup, it has the effect of promoting saliva, quenching thirst, dispelling wind, dissipating heat, and lowering blood lipids. I felt too sour at the time and didn't buy it, but now I feel a little regretful. After all, it is a fruit tree that has been listening to Guangdong music for a century. Aiya ~~
Guangdong Concert Hall
The concert hall is a two-story antique building with a construction area of 1042 square meters. It was officially opened to the public in 2015. It is relatively unpopular and not many tourists come. There are some grandfathers and grandmothers listening to the opera on the second floor.
wenfeng Pagoda
Also known as Wenchang Pavilion and Wenkui Pagoda, it was built in the 60th year of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. The three-story corner of the tower was once the commanding height of Gusha Bay. Because the statues of "Wenchang","Guandi" and "Wenkui" were enshrined in the tower, it was originally a must-visit place for children in the countryside who prayed for success in learning.
Huangyou Town Yabai Art Museum
Located in the Zhennan Temple on Anning West Street, there is an exquisite brick, wood and stone structure with three entrances and two patios. Now it is not only the Yabai Art Museum, but also selling Yabai products. After entering, I smelled the faint aroma of cypress. Although it was sold, the museum was still relatively quiet. Many of the award-winning works of Mr. Huang Youzhen were displayed, and he liked the Dharma series very much.
oyster shell house
The earliest Oyster Shell House can be traced back to the Northern and Southern Dynasties. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, oyster shells can be seen in ancestral halls and residential buildings, becoming a characteristic architectural style of Lingnan Water Town.
Looking at it from a distance, it's really spectacular. How many oysters did you eat to get a wall! What a delicious and beautiful idea!
In addition, let me mention my favorite wok ear house. It's really a literacy campaign. Wo recite huo(three sounds).
Wo 'er House is a typical representative of traditional folk houses in Lingnan. The main representative is the Guangfu style residential building. It is named because it has two wind-proof walls like Wo' er built on both sides of the house. Among the Guangfu residences in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, only villages with senior officials were qualified to erect a wok ear on the roof to seal fire gables. The gable walls of the wok ear house are built in the shape of a wok ear, so it is called the "wok ear house".
There is no clear conclusion on the origin of Wo 'erwu. The ears of this ancient building are indeed quite like the official hats of civil officials in the Ming Dynasty, so they contain the architectural imprint and cultural information of the Ming Dynasty.
At first, only officials who had achieved fame were entitled to enjoy this kind of wok ear house, and the gable walls were basically black. This should be taken from the image of southern fire and black water from the five elements. Water can overcome fire, and black water can be used to suppress fire in the south.
After introducing so many attractions in Shawan, it's time to talk about the ginger and milk in Shawan! A little greedy, I ate two houses at a time.
Ginger burying milk is ginger bumping milk! There have been legends about ginger bumping milk. Once upon a time, in Shawan Town, Panyu, Guangdong, an elderly woman suffered from a cough. Later, she learned that ginger juice could cure cough, but the ginger juice was too spicy and the old woman could not drink it. So the daughter-in-law boiled the water milk with sugar and poured it into the ginger juice bowl. Strangely enough, the milk condensed after a while, and the old woman suddenly felt a fragrant aroma in her mouth after drinking it. The disease recovered on the second day. Therefore, ginger smashed milk became popular in Shawan Town. Shawan people called "condensation""buried", so "ginger smashed milk" was also called "ginger buried milk" in Shawan.
The Shawan Dairy Queen, located in the center of the town, is famous for good business and full of milk fragrance. In Guangzhou, people who love sweets will be very happy!
There are many delicious food in Shawan, but it is already past 4 o'clock in the afternoon after shopping around, and the wind has begun to cool down. Originally, the weather forecast would cool down and rain the next day, so I had to go to see Xiao Manyao that night. I didn't expect the wind to rise too early. It still depends. I will be back the day after tomorrow.
Taking a bus at the entrance of the ancient town to the subway entrance is really far away. Maybe the bus has to stop and detour all the way. There are countless stops. It is easy to take a photo of this densely packed stop sign. About an hour later, we arrived at the Shiqiao subway entrance and headed straight to Zhujiang New City Station.
Speaking of which, Zhujiang New City Station is said to be scary in the morning and evening rush hours on weekdays, and there are many commercial buildings around it. So I chose to go to Huacheng Avenue on the weekend to see Xiao Man's waist. Facts have proved that human calculations are never inferior to God's calculations, and the temperature has cooled down.
Interrupting the Guangzhou subway, it is still a little more crowded than expected. It was past two o'clock in the afternoon on the day I arrived, and there were still empty seats when I came out of the airport. The more I sat, the more crowded it became until a car full of people was and I arrived. This big box is sweating all over!
Secondly, at Tiyu West Road Station, I almost sat in the wrong direction. Fortunately, I asked the staff in time, and they were still sitting on a ladder on duty, awesome. It was later discovered that this station was a transfer station that even locals would make the wrong mistake. Then save your energy and ask directly
You can see Xiao Man Waist when you leave the station. I didn't plan to climb the tower, so I chose Yuanguan. There should be other suitable viewing spots, but I just want to take a few pictures and flash, so it doesn't matter.
Many people come to Guangzhou mainly to eat. I have said so much, but I rarely mention eating.
Okay, let's classify it here. The following represents personal tastes.
Stewed chicken with shredded bamboo with coconut
Recommended stores: Dayang Original Stew, Yingji
Taste: Sweet and warm (it would be better if there were less foam)
Desserts-they are really sweet shops that cannot pay for their lives
Recommended stores: Baihua Dessert (cash only), Mingji (opposite Baihua), Rose Dessert (next to Baihua), Renxin Laopu
Taste: Unless you like sweets very much, it is recommended not to order Baihua's milk paste.
Afternoon tea with both face and taste online: Zhucha Lighthouse Store
Store that must be recommended: I discovered the store early on the last day. Everything is good. I'm going to Dongshankou again, so I'm being willful.
There are many people, try to go there on weekdays or after 5 o'clock on weekends.
Little Sentiment
Dry fried beef river:
Recommended store for salt-baked young pigeons: Big pigeon rice
Traditional morning tea restaurant: Fengyuanxuan The new generation: Tao Tao Ju, do not love Dude
I live near Wenming Road, surrounded by Tao Tao Ju and Diandude, but I still love Feng Yuanxuan, which has many local people. The first time I went there was actually quite accidental, because it was not eye-catching, and I walked back and forth several times but didn't enter. I wanted to go to another one that day, but I didn't open it too early.
The environment is very ordinary. It looks like it has been open for many years, and most of the people sitting are local neighbors. After ordering the order, my grandma reminded me to boil water first. Only then did I realize that there was a side cabinet for boiling water next to each table, and I suddenly felt a little fun.
The snacks are all steamed freshly, so it takes about 15 minutes to wait for water and tea. Drinking morning tea alone is actually quite extravagant, because I really can't drink so much water: ) But I love this house very much. I have been there twice in ten days. Apart from the good taste, I probably like to listen to my grandparents chatting about daily life (although I don't fully understand it). Everyone is so familiar with it that they have relatively fixed seats and bring their own cups to Guangzhou to find the fireworks that they have been looking for.
Tao Tao juI went there after visiting the Museum of the King of Nanyue in the Western Han Dynasty. It is very close to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. There were no waiting tables for the entrance at around one o'clock, but it was almost full. For dining alone, I really try my best.
diandudeI struggled about whether to go, but in the end, I would like to have a taste since I came. For a relatively new teahouse like Dian, the evaluation is generally a bit unfair because it didn't like it very much from the beginning. The quantity is still relatively solid and the taste is okay, but for some reason, this environment always feels like something is missing.
There are really many teahouses in Guangzhou, and there are also ones on the list that don't have time to go.Panxi Restaurant, Beiyuan Restaurant, White Swan Hotel, Guangzhou Restaurant and Nanyuan Restaurant。Save it for the next time.
Rice rolls
Recommended store:yinji rice rolls
It's delicious, cost-effective, and porridge is also a specialty.
Go early and see Beijing Road in the early morning.
bakery
Recommended store: Grandpa Deep Heart-Waterless Cake
I don't have the opportunity to visit many places, but I like this place very much.
Roast geese:
Recommended stores: Jinfeng Farm (recommended by a friend), Roast Goose Girl Restaurant (recommended by the guide)
They are all quite far away, so it's best to have a car.
Fu Kee Wonton Noodles:
Two words: delicious!
Okay, the food channel has come to an end for now.
Museums have become a necessity every time I travel. I have to admit that museums are a magical existence. People who love them very much and people who don't love them completely skip them.
Before going to Guangzhou, what I wanted to see most was the Nanyue King Museum. After going there, I realized that there were two, one was called the Nanyue Palace Museum and the other was called the Western Han Dynasty Nanyue King Museum. The former is mainly about the large-scale stone pool and meandering stone canal discovered in the Royal Garden of the Nanyue State Palace Office that were carried out two archaeological excavations here in 1995 and 1997; the latter is the tomb of Zhao Yuzhi, the second king of the Nanyue State, discovered in 1983. It is the largest and only painted stone chamber tomb of the Han Dynasty found in Lingnan. It is a site with a tomb path and a tomb!
Nanyue Palace Museum
The content on display is the remains and relics of the Royal Palace of the Nanyue Kingdom before 2000 years ago. It helps everyone understand the archaeological excavations, view precious unearthed cultural relics, and experience historical information in person at the archaeological site. There is no need to buy a ticket for the visit, but you must bring your ID card to exchange it.
The museum is located in the Royal Garden of Nanyue Kingdom two thousand years ago. It retains relics such as stone ponds, curved canals, flat bridges, step stones, and corridors. It embodies advanced garden design concepts and gardening elements. It is currently the most well-preserved and earliest in the country. The ruins of the imperial garden.
So let's first talk about what South Vietnam is?
South Yue Kingdom, also known as Nanyue State, was a political power located in the Lingnan area of China from the end of Qin to the Western Han Dynasty. From Zhao Tuo, the founding monarch, to Zhao Jiande, the subjugated monarch, there were five kings and ninety-three years in total.
Visiting the ruins, I had to admire the craftsmen of the time, who took into account both the design of drainage and the ornamental interest of the winding water flowing wine cup. What is strange is that the lower level of the palace site in South Vietnam is the Qin shipbuilding site, and above the palace site there are historical relics of various dynasties from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Republic of China. At this moment, I am standing on the glass trestle and above this layer of history.
The wellhead of the South Han water well is octagonal. From top to bottom, the first layer of the well circle is built with bricks standing on the side to form a trigram shape, and the second layer is built with 4 layers of bricks staggered joints. This way, it is built with bricks stacked up and down. Brick is laid at the bottom of the well and sand is placed under the bricks to filter well water.
Since it is a royal garden, it must take great pains to enjoy it. For example, in order to create a sharp bend effect, one wall is steep and the other wall is tilted downward, and the bottom of the canal is paved with river pebbles and large gravel.
The key pillar at the bottom of archaeology-a cross section of Guangzhou's urban construction history.
In addition, there are also designs for "corridors to disperse water", which are slope protection built next to the eaves to protect the foundation from erosion by rainwater; the Nanyue State seepage well-a sand well used to collect sewage and rainwater from the palace. People at that time had such advanced concepts, which was amazing!
After visiting the Qushui Liushang Site, you can also go to the nearby showroom. The showroom mainly displays three major parts-"Entering the Royal Palace of Nanyue","Entering the King's Palace of Xing in the Southern Han Dynasty" and "The Famous City of Guangzhou for Two Thousand Years". That day was just in time to explain the free part of "Entering the Royal Palace of South Vietnam" in the afternoon, which lasted about 45 minutes.
Outside the showroom is the garden area, where you will appreciate the general appearance of the restored garden.
There are also some interesting display windows on the side, classifying the appearance of bricks and porcelain from various dynasties.
If you want to read carefully, it will take about 3-4 hours, and there will be free explanations around 2:30 in the afternoon. The street you came out of after your visit has a lot of delicious food, so come with a bowl of double skin milk to replenish your strength.
han Museum of the Nanyue King mausoleum
The Museum of the King of Nanyue of the Western Han Dynasty, which was officially opened to the public in 1988, has a building area of more than 17400 square meters. It mainly displays the original site of the tomb of the King of Nanyue and its unearthed cultural relics. The museum also has a special display of ceramic pillows donated by Mrs. Yang Yongde and irregular temporary exhibitions.

Visiting time: 2-3 hours, can be arranged with Yuexiu Park or Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.
The museum's emblem-The jade pendant with heavy rings with dragon and phoenix patterns is used as a decorative jade. It can be called a national treasure. It was unearthed in the right eye of the tomb owner and was carved out of bluish-white jade. The dragon's tail and rear claws extend out to the outer ring, and the phoenix crown and tail feathers extend up and down to form a cloud pattern, filling the space in the outer ring. The jade pendant is finely carved, the composition is perfect and harmonious, and the main and secondary are clearly defined. It is a rare artistic treasure among jade articles in the Han Dynasty.
Festival is one of the tokens used in military and diplomacy in ancient times. This tiger festival is made of bronze. It is a talisman for mobilizing chariots and horses. It is also the only bronze tiger festival with cross-gold inscriptions found so far.
The various types of knowledge of museums are well organized. I don't think museums should be labeled as cold. It would be great if I could learn something from it every time I visit.
Jade clothes, also known as "jade boxes", were worn by emperors and senior aristocrats in the Han Dynasty when they died. This custom has been popular for more than 300 years in history.
Han people believe that jade clothes can prevent corpses from rottenness. Currently, there are more than a dozen sets of complete jade clothes unearthed in Chinese archaeology. The silk jade clothes of the King of Nanyue are the earliest set of complete jade clothes seen so far in my country.
When unearthed, the silk threads were rotten and the jade pieces were scattered. Experts spent more than three years repairing and restoring them.
There are two other exhibitions in the main building.
Finally, I didn't take any photos of the tomb of Emperor Wen of Nanyue. I still had goosebumps when I walked in from the tomb path, although there were many people around me. If you are interested, you can go to the official website to watch the guided tour.
Time was a little tight that day, so I passed by the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and spent half an hour walking around, just to post a few pictures. If you don't visit inside, you don't need to buy tickets.
Let's talk about the other museum I visited-the Chenxiang Culture Museum. It is relatively unpopular and has inconvenient transportation. After visiting, I felt that the exhibition hall was not well maintained, so I don't recommend making a special trip.
Finally, when we talked about accommodation, we didn't forget her, but introduced her as the finale.
I checked the prices of many hotels before coming, and finally chose a B & B. It was not cheaper than the hotel, but what I liked was its uniqueness. Convenient transportation-it is located on Wenming Road, 5 minutes 'walk from the subway to Beijing Road, and brings its own kitchen-although I didn't cook-there are so many delicious food around, and it's still my favorite arcade style.
As a typical verand-style building, the origin of the arcade can be traced back to the Greek "Parthenon Temple" about 2500 years ago. It has a great origin. This architectural form, which combines European architecture with the characteristics of Southeast Asia, can protect itself from wind and rain, and the scorching sun, creating a cool environment, so it is very popular in Southeast Asia. Chinese returning from Nanyang have also built similar arcade buildings in southern China.
Have you seen two "vending machines" among the many shops that decorate paintings? That was the entrance to my B & B. It was so realistic that I even passed too far when I arrived.
When I open the door every day, I love to see the suspicious eyes of passers-by. There are many rooms with different styles in the entire B & B, and I chose this one. Self-service check-in with password, but there was no elevator. I contacted the landlord in advance and asked her to arrange someone to pick it up. Every floor has to press a password, which is quite safe.
The riding floor was very high, so I picked up the projector. Although the travel was very hard, it was so enjoyable to lie in bed and watch Chen Danqing's "Parts"!
I didn't eat spicy barbecue food. I actually fried beans before I came back. I really had no choice/
I am coming back, but I have no regrets. I am grateful to Guangzhou for the good weather in the past 10 days, not a drop of rain, and I am happy; I am grateful for not meeting liars and thieves; I am grateful for not eating a bad stomach; I am grateful for not getting injured; I am grateful for all this...
Back in Shanghai, back home, clean your hands and put incense on, and be grateful for your safe return.
However, I didn't expect that the epidemic situation would take a sharp turn, but I would say goodbye to the old and welcome the new but usher in the coldest Spring Festival. When I saw the report in Guangzhou, I was just a little worried. I didn't expect the end of the year to be so difficult. We bid farewell to our freedom for a while, but many people bid farewell to our dearest relatives forever.
Perhaps this is an era when there is no need to be. Living in the present does not allow people to enjoy the moment or spend extravagance. Traveling is not about eating, drinking and having fun, and recording is just about cherishing.
However, I suddenly thought of Hegel's sentence: The only lesson mankind can learn from history is that mankind will never learn from history.
I believe this will pass.
The whole play ends.
