In late March 2021, when traveling to Guangdong, I visited Yuexiu Park again. The photo was taken in one of the population of Yuexiu Park.

Yuexiu Park in March is lined with trees.

Flowers are in full bloom in Yuexiu Park in March.

Yuexiu Park is the largest comprehensive park in Guangzhou. Yuexiu Mountain, the main body of Yuexiu Park, is named after the "Chaohan Terrace" built on the mountain by Zhao Tuo, King of Nanyue during the Western Han Dynasty. The picture shows a guide map of Yuexiu Park.

On the river in Yuexiu Park, sanitation workers are cleaning up fallen leaves.

In Yuexiu Park, there are many elderly people doing morning exercises.

In Yuexiu Park, some people are playing cards leisurely.

Since the Yuan Dynasty, Yuexiu Park has been one of the eight scenic spots in Yangcheng. The park has towers, pavilions, small bridges and flowing water, and the scenery is good.

In Yuexiu Park, there are some plants that cannot be seen in the north.

There are many sports and fitness facilities in Yuexiu Park. This is a small stadium.

Zhenhai Tower is known as the first scenic spot in Lingnan. Zhenhai Building is called the "five-story building" because it is five-story high. This building was built in the 13th year of Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty (1380) by Zhu Liangzu, Marquis of Yongjia. It was initially named "Wanghai Tower" and later named "Zhenhai Tower", which means to guard the sea. Zhenhai Building is 28 meters high and 31 meters wide, with a total of five floors. During the Qing Dynasty, Zhenhai Tower was always the tallest building in Guangzhou. Climbing to the roof, you can see the Pearl River and Baiyun Mountain.

Zhenhai Tower was transformed into Guangzhou Museum in 1956. It is the most intact, most imposing and most ethnic ancient building in Guangzhou.

The Sun Yat-sen Monument was built in memory of the democratic revolutionary Mr. Sun Yat-sen. It is located on the top of Guanyin Mountain and can be reached by 498 steps up the "Hundred Steps". The picture shows the stone archway through the "Hundred Steps".

The monument was built in 1929 and designed by the famous architect Lu Yanzhi. The body of the stele is all made of granite and is 37 meters high. The bottom of the stele is square, tapering and pointed upwards. There are steps in the stele that can be rotated to the top. The first and second floors can be overlooked on all sides. Higher up, there are windows on each floor to look out.

There are 26 sheat-head stone carvings on all sides on the upper layer of the monument base, symbolizing Yangcheng. The front of the stone tablet is a giant granite about 7 meters long and 4 meters wide, with Premier Sun Yat-sen's will engraved on it.

The platform where the monument is located has iron railings and lush trees around it. The Sun Yat-sen Monument became a symbol of Guangzhou's modern city. It is now a national-level key civilization protection unit.

From behind the Sun Yat-sen Monument, turning westward, you can see an ancient city wall of about 200 meters long, stretching out and hidden deep in the jungle. It is the only section of the Ming Dynasty city wall preserved in Guangzhou and the oldest existing city wall in Guangzhou. In the early years of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Liangzu guarded Guangzhou. It was built in the 13th year of Hongwu (1380) and has a history of more than 600 years.

This section of the city wall is the historical heritage of Guangzhou's city wall. Together with Zhenhai Tower and the bell tower behind Wuxian Temple, it is considered to be one of the three major ground monuments in Guangzhou in the early Ming Dynasty.

The statue of Wuyang stands on the wooden shell of the park and is a key protected cultural relic in Guangzhou City.

The statue of Wuyang was built in 1959 and was created by three sculptors: Yin Jichang, Chen Benzong and Kong Qiuchuan.

The Wuyang statue is carved from 130 pieces of granite, is more than 10 meters high and has a volume of 53 cubic meters. This sculpture is regarded as a symbol of Yangcheng. The picture shows me taking a photo in front of the stone statue of Wuyang.

You can take the elevator to the Wuyang Statue.

Walking down the elevator, there are five immortals statues nearby.

There is also a large Wuyang Wonderland sculpture nearby

I have been to Yuexiu Park many times, but when I visited the old place again, I still feel that the scenery is good, especially the management is in place. The photo was taken in Yuexiu Park.
