Key points: Since the Sui Dynasty (594), various dynasties and generations have used the Nanhai Temple as a place to worship the sea. It was highly valued by the country and even the emperor himself, and local dignitaries, literati, and people gathered together. Therefore, a large number of inscriptions recorded them, forming a large-scale "Southern Forest of Steles". It is also a place for ordinary people to pray for blessings, giving rise to the Baltic Birth marine cultural phenomenon that reflects the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road. Now as an AAAA scenic spot, it is under key protection and management.

Transfer to Yuzhu Station on Guangzhou Metro Line 5 to No. 13. Three stops later is Nanhai Temple Station.
It was almost 12 o'clock when we arrived and learned that there was nothing for sale inside, so we decided to go nearby and have Chinese food before going in. Passers-by said that there was an archway called Miaotou, which contained a lot of food. Both sides of the archway are full of shops, and there are indeed many restaurants. We walked from beginning to end. There were many restaurants opened by outsiders on the street. The more lively ones were Tinghu, Old Changsha, and Old Sichuan. When we were approaching the end, we suddenly saw two food stalls in the alley on the left. When we entered and looked, we found that they were not only crowded, but also neat and very sanitary. They were local shops. There were no tables after entering the store. We had to go up to the second floor. We didn't want to drag things up, so we chose tables outside the store.
That white-haired uncle should be the store owner, right? He recommended that we order a goose and a pot of lotus root. We ordered a green vegetable ourselves. The lotus root was served first and contained it in the earthen jar. I scooped it with a spoon and found that there were pig's trotters inside, but the whole soup was light in color. There was no oily flower, just the taste of lotus root. Maybe the pig's trotters were put in after they were cooked? The pig's trotters are soft and the bones are connected to the meat. They can be opened with chopsticks, but they will not be loose. The chopsticks can be picked up and it is just a small bite. It has a meat aroma but not a greasy taste. When you smother your mouth, you find that there is a juice aroma of lotus root between your cheeks and teeth. Is it the pig's trotters cooked with lotus root? The possible method is: first, filter the pig's trotters, remove the juice, transfer them to the lotus root and cook for a while. Therefore, the pig's trotters have the aroma of lotus root, while the lotus root is pure. It only has its own flavor. It is powder and does not melt into the mouth. It is not crisp, but a little waxy and soft. The more glutinous mung bean paste is stuffed in the lotus root holes, stimulating the sensitive sense of layering of the taste buds, giving a kind of powerful anxiety and excitement that is nowhere to be used. When the steamed goose with bean drums came up, my stomach felt a little full, which was enough for three people.
The goose was served in a medium plate, which should be half the size of a goose. It was cut thinly and covered with potatoes. I picked up a piece of goose meat and put it in my mouth. After chewing it a few times, I just said: It's so ordinary, it doesn't have much flavor. Before he finished speaking, the aroma of meat rises. The light sauce brings out the firm and fragrant original flavor of the goose meat itself. It's really temperamental. This is the dish of Guangzhou people. A few beans, a little sauce, a little oyster sauce, one steamed, one stewed, one boiled, one stir-fried, and one fried. It not only retains the original flavor, but also is more clear and detached than the original flavor, giving the eaters the same treatment and fun as a gourmet.
The rice is also excellent. By the time the vegetables arrived, I was completely full.
Disadvantages: Because it is a food stall, the above dishes are all made in large pots. If the heat is too high, the delicacy and crispy quality of the ingredients are lost.
The total is 132 yuan, including 45 yuan for lotus roots, 58 yuan for geese, and 23 yuan for green vegetables

Based on the route we walked in, it is estimated that the temple is just across the river behind it, and the answer is fine. The result was correct, but it was the west gate, which was not open. We had to go back to the main gate so that we could have a chance to see the lives of nearby residents. The road surface is extremely smooth and clean, especially the cleanliness and hygiene are impressive. There are no water stains in the toilets of food stalls, let alone any dirt. The ground is covered with a layer of grid glue board. Later, public toilets on the roadside are equipped with paper towels. In addition to having a wash basin, the garbage sorting station is more classy than other sorting stations in the city.
Looking more than 500 meters from the exit station, there are stacked trees and flower beds. The pedestrian road is three lanes wide. The greenway that is one car wide is blue and is very elastic to step on. The sidewalk that is two cars wide has thick and wide slabs on the road surface. It is paved tightly and evenly without any dust. I know that I have entered a local tycoon village and I am too particular. Indeed, I did not make a mistake. Looking at the archway of the archway and then at the villagers 'houses, the facade of the building is more elegant than that of the houses in other districts of Guangzhou.
There is also another sight, that is Metro Station No. 13 and its name:
See? Except for the three stations of Shuanggang, Xiayuan and Nangang, all stations are connected to water. It can be imagined that they are all built on rivers, nets and embankments. This is also a suitable location for the Nanhai Temple-the junction of the Pearl River Estuary and the South China Sea. From here, we pass through countries in South Asia, cross the Indian Ocean, and reach the southeastern coast of Africa at the westernmost point. This is the world-famous Maritime Silk Road, which is more than 10,000 kilometers long and passes through more than 100 countries and regions.
