The golden iron horses and exotic customs of the Western Regions, the northern scenery of the Northern Regions in the Northern Regions and the thousands of years of war and peace between nomadic civilization and agricultural civilization, the brilliance of the Hexi Corridor related to the Silk Road, the powerful dynasties nourished by the Guanzhong Plain, and the Central Plains The competition among heroes can all make people mesmerizing! The most unforgettable thing is Jiangnan with apricot flowers and spring rain, Jiangnan with heaven above and Suzhou and Hangzhou below, Jiangnan with lotus leaves and He Tiantian. How can I not remember Jiangnan!
Thanks for being born in China today! The motherland has a vast territory, majestic mountains and rivers, a spread of history, and a culture as bright as a galaxy. In this land, there are too many miracles for people to understand and experience!
10 years of traveling to 33 provinces
Since he began publishing travel notes in 12 years ago, he has traveled to 33 provinces and left travel notes all of them. Combining the places I have visited and piecing together the impression of each province is certainly not comprehensive, but I can also take you to see the motherland in my eyes, the magnificent mountains and rivers, cultural treasures, and living customs!
Chaoshan, Guangdong, is my hometown, so I don't need to say I am familiar with it. I studied college in Hangzhou, worked in Shanghai and Guangzhou, and finally returned to Nan'ao Island to open a B & B. I am quite familiar with the three provinces of Guangdong, Zhejiang and Shanghai! Although most of the other provinces have only been in contact for a few days, they are actually there. After all, they have gained something and gained insights. They are biased and may be wrong, but they are all personal experiences. If there are any mistakes, please ask friends from all over the country to forgive and welcome normal exchanges and corrections.
Traveling is going from a place where you are tired of living to a place where others are tired of living. Although there are jokes, in fact, every place has its own beauty. As long as you put your heart into it, the great rivers and mountains, cultural customs, historical relics, and specialty delicacies of the motherland will add a lot to your spiritual wealth! It is difficult to have a country that can compete with my country in terms of richness and reputation in time and space. I am really proud to be born in China!
A set of daily cultural maps collected from Learning Powerful Countries came in handy!
1. South China I Guangdong, Guangxi, Qiong, Hong Kong and Macao
Lingnan was a wild land in ancient times. There were several chaos in the Central Plains. After the population moved south, it gradually became prosperous and now it is an economically developed area. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is the core of South China.
1. Hometown Yueming
The moon is the dawn of my hometown. Cantonese culture is the mainstay, prosperous commerce and unique food!
Guangdong is the hometown, an economically developed coastal province with three cultures: Guangfu, Hakka and Chaoshan. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is the center, and Zhanjiang and Chaoshan, sub-centers, are also catching up.
Facing the sea, there are more external exchanges, so many urban buildings will bear the mark of the times, such as those arcade buildings in the prosperous commercial era, Shantou Small Park, Sun Wen West Road in Zhongshan, and Shangxiajiu in Guangzhou; while overseas Chinese returned to their hometown to build buildings, Chen Cihong's former residence, Kaiping Diaolou, are also characteristics of the beginning of the last century. These old buildings blend Chinese and Western styles, and are all witnesses of the prosperous commerce and trade of those days. Commerce and trade have also been passed down to this day, and the Canton Fair is still lively.
Cantonese food can also make people salivate. The two most well-known places should be Shunde and Chaoshan in Foshan. The delicious food in these two places is worth trying.
① Shantou cuisine
Shantou, Chaozhou and Jieyang are collectively referred to as Chaoshan. They are a region, not a city! When you come to Chaoshan, you usually visit Chaozhou, Shantou and Nan'ao Island in succession to experience Chaoshan food, humanities, and coastal customs.
Shantou is my hometown. Nowadays, what is most known is delicious food. Thanks to director Chen Xiaoqing,"A Bite of China" and "The Origin of Flavor·Chaoshan", Chaoshan cuisine is famous across the country. Many friends come to Chaoshan. The main purpose is to eat and eat. Beef hot pot, cold porridge, casserole porridge, rice flour, fruit strip soup, oyster roast, rice cake, crab cake, pork sausage stuffed glutinous rice, fried cake cake, fish rice, pickled seafood, etc., you can eat it in three to five days without duplicate!
The small park and arcade is the most worth visiting place in Shantou, witnessing the prosperity of Shantou's century-old commercial port.
On the 12th National Day, the photos left during this period of time in the old urban area of the riding small park are still preserved. Those arcade buildings that have gone through hundreds of years of ups and downs have long been engraved with traces of time. The walls are mottled, and bougainvillea is born on them. They are full of vitality and have a sense of historical chill that people have gone and the buildings are empty. This portrayal, the feeling of prosperity fading away, is a little sad. In the past few years, after being renovated, I feel no longer feeling of vicissitudes. It is like traveling back to Shantou Port in the 1930s and 1940s, when the business was at its peak, and the traffic was heavy.
The Chaoshan area has few land and many people. Around the 20th century, many people went to Nanyang to make a living. They dared to work hard and successfully found a way out. Many people also fed back to their hometowns. They have a unified title, Overseas Chinese. Chen Cihong's former residence in Chenghai is a typical example of the development of overseas Chinese.
② Nan'ao Island Watching the Sea
When it comes to Shantou, you have to mention Nan'ao Island. On the 12th National Day, I went to the island for the first time, took a mountain bike across the ferry, and rode around the island in one day. This is my first encounter with Nan'ao Island. Some of the photos I took are still preserved today! In 14 years, I started working as a B & B in Qing 'ao Bay on Nan'ao Island, and later converted it into an apartment. I am still doing tourism-related work on Nan'ao Island. I am full of stories and strong emotions about Nan'ao Island. 14-16 Many of the strategies for South Australia came from me.
Nan'ao Island has very beautiful seas, represented by Qing' ao Bay and Nanpeng Islands; Nan'ao Island has historical relics and legends of the Song and Ming Dynasties. Songcha, Songjing, Zongbing Mansion, Treasure Island, Xiongzhenguan in Houhuayuan Village, many stories are waiting for everyone to discover.
Go to the island to watch the sea and eat seafood. You can also go out to sea with fishermen to experience fishing or snorkeling. You can also rent a small electric donkey for a tour around the island and stay there for three days and two nights to experience the beauty of this island!
Looking at the travel guides that have been released one after another over the past 14 years, you are full of memories, such as Lingtao Inn, Xunhai Tourism, and various sightseeing guides. The discovery of various niche attractions until later they became popular check-in celebrities. It's been 8 years! Welcome everyone to come to Nan'ao Island to play!
③ Chaozhou Historic Sites
Chaozhou is the historical center of Chaoshan and the seat of Chaozhou Prefecture. There are Guangji Tower, Guangji Bridge (Xiangzi Bridge), Paifang Street, Kaiyuan Temple, Han Wengong Temple, ancient city ancient bridge, ancient temple and ancient temple. The origin of Chaoshan is here.
What I like most is the small alleys on both sides of Paifang Street. Those are the real living Chaoshan ancient alleys. They are all classic Chaoshan folk houses. Another place, Longhu Ancient Village, is a village with relatively well-preserved ancient houses in Chaoshan, and it is also worth visiting.
Fenghuang Mountain is Chashan, where Fenghuang Dancong originated. There is a reservoir on the top of the mountain, which is a good place to camp. In good weather, you can see the sea of clouds.
④ Pearl River Delta
I. Guangzhou
The slowest pace among the first-tier cities, especially in the old urban areas, the feeling of an old neighborhood is full of fireworks. After working in Guangzhou for two years, he has been to the most prosperous Huacheng Square, high-rise buildings and small waists, confirming his identity as an international city.
I have also been to the old streets of Panyu, have morning tea on weekends, take a walk along the old streets, and go to Xiyuan to walk the children. The atmosphere of life in Laoguang and Guangzhou has its own rhythm. Guangzhou brought children to the Changlong Wildlife Park, and the little guys would like it very much; the South China Botanical Garden is also full of lush vegetation and rich varieties, and there are many green spaces for everyone to relax. Shopping, Shangxiajiu is a good choice; when eating, don't miss Dude's morning tea!
II. Shenzhen
I have also been there many times, mainly meeting friends on business. There is no need to introduce Shenzhen too much, but there is a back garden that many people may not know about. Shenzhen is also a city with beautiful bays and beaches. It is called Dapeng Peninsula, it is called Dongxichong, and it is also called Nan'ao. Going there on the 13th National Day, the sea view is beautiful, from blue to light blue, rich and layered, and the water is very clear. The bay here has also been on the beauty album's list of China's eight most beautiful coasts.
III. Zhongshan
Sun Yat-sen is respected by people. A city is named after him. There are many Zhongshan Parks and Zhongshan Roads across the country. There are many towns in Zhongshan City, and each town has its own characteristics. When I went to Zhongshan for the first time, I rode there from Guangzhou and visited Sunwen West Road, which is also a cultural memorial street with the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Memorial Library, etc.
Another impression is that those watchtowers. The ancestors who went to Nanyang broke out of the world and returned to their hometowns to build buildings. However, there were often banditry, so this kind of semi-residential and semi-defensive watchtowers came into being at the right time. The most famous one is Jiangmen Kaiping watchtowers, and these watchtowers in Zhongshan are also products of the same era.
IV. Zhuhai
One of the special economic zones. I rode quickly for the first time and went for a swim through Qi 'ao Island.
The second time I went to a classmate's wedding, I spent two or three days strolling the most classic section of the seaside road, that is, the lovers 'road. It was very casual, fishing, running, cycling, walking, and swimming, witnessing the slow life of a city. It was a good weekend. There are two or three beaches, which are sacred places for children to play around. It is very suitable for family fun on weekends. Zhuhai fishermen are also in this area. Here, there are Abo fishing with small nets, young people playing on the beach, and many tourists strolling. This feeling is similar to Qingdao, Dalian, and they are both extremely warm and leisure coastal towns!
V. Foshan
It feels like a younger brother in Guangzhou, and the economy is developing very rapidly. In the same city of Guangzhou and Foshan, the subway has been connected. I have been to the beautiful Lu Lake and a nice town, but I just feel a little remote. Foshan Shunde's food is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, so I have the opportunity to come back and experience it again.
③ Danxia in northern Guangdong
There is Danxia in northern Guangdong, and in Renhua County, Shaoguan, it ranks first in the beauty album, the most beautiful Danxia! The Danxia landform, with its red color, is particularly dazzling, hidden among the green mountains, creating an interesting contrast to each other. The Danxia landform here is even more unique and unforgettable, and Yangyuanshi is a representative of it.
There is another huge stone next to the Yangyuan Stone, Yangyuan Mountain. Locals have dug the city steps and climbed up the stairs. There are pavilions on it, with a wide view and you can overlook a large area of green mountains and clear waters surrounded by clouds and mist, like a village outside the country. In addition to this Danxia, there are many hot springs in northern Guangdong that you can experience by the way.
④ Island and seaside
There are many islands along the coast of Guangdong. When flying back to Jieyang from Zhanjiang, the weather was fine, so I was able to admire these islands at an altitude of 10,000 meters! There are Maoming Fangji Island, Yangjiang Hailing Island, Jiangmen Xiachuan Island, Shangchuan Island, Zhuhai Poached Egg, Wailingding Island, etc.!
I have visited Hailing Island in Yangjiang several times, playing football on Dajiao Bay Beach, trawling fishing in another bay in Zhapo Town, and Shiliyin Beach, a particularly long beach that cannot be seen at a glance! When the weather is good, the sea water is particularly blue and green! Hailing Island is also a member of China's National Geographic Magazine and is on the list of China's most beautiful islands in the beauty pageant!
③ Mainland Antarctic Village
In the mainland of the motherland, the northernmost is Beiji Village in Mohe, Heilongjiang, and the southernmost is Nanji Village in Zhanjiang, Guangdong. This name is also an article written for tourism, so it has great insight. These natural villages in the southernmost part of the mainland, Fangpo Village, Xipo Village, etc., have unified plans and built many B & Bs, but there are not enough meals and meals, which is inconvenient to eat.
In Fangpo Village, many houses use local materials and use coral reefs as wall materials. Of course, there are coral protection policies, and these are about to become history. To the northwest of the village, there is a coral museum, next to the South China Sea. The beach is littered with coral debris. There is a long trestle with a white lighthouse at the end. It's a great place to watch the sunset.
Fangpo Village is slightly far from the southernmost lighthouse, so you can rent an electric car to go there. Ride along the seaside to the southernmost point of the mainland. There are two lighthouses, an old one, and an old one. The new lighthouse says "The southernmost tip of the mainland of China."
On the way back, I encountered a large salt field, much larger than the original salt field in Shen 'ao on Nan'ao Island, and there was also a salt processing factory. Many salt fields have already crystallized, and some have been swept into salt piles. Some workers use dustpans to pack them and pick them up to the edge of the fields for storage. Aerial photography shows that the salt fields are densely packed with several patches, and in the distance are windmills and the sea. Haiyan is also a portrayal of Haicheng City. There are actually many cactus weeds on the roadside, and some even have a lot of flowers. This is a reminder that it is tropical here.
The Antarctic Village is still worth visiting, with corals, salt pans, the southernmost tip of the mainland and lighthouses.
