Some people say that there are two occupations that will not be unemployed in Guangzhou. One is a gardener and the other is a chef. Winter never enters Guangzhou when it is old. Of course, flowers bloom all year round, so it is called the Flower City. People in Guangzhou love to eat it, and Cantonese food is a famous cuisine in China. I like all the snacks in Guangzhou very much, including preserved egg and lean meat porridge, wonton noodles, shrimp dumplings, double cured pot rice, rice rolls and so on. On this day, we walked to a Michelin restaurant for dinner. I couldn't say which one it was to avoid suspicion of advertising. After walking out after dinner, I saw that the surrounding streets were full of tall buildings, and there was no light downstairs.

Walking downstairs to a strange-looking modern building, they saw the famous geometric abstract building in Guangzhou in the distance. They said that what was abstracted was "small waist."

The name of this abstract building is called "Guangzhou Tower".

This is called Huacheng Square. When you turn around, you can see Guangzhou's new central axis, with newly built high-rise buildings on both sides.

It's time to leave. The stadium next to the Guangzhou Tower is Haixinsha, the main stadium of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games.

The lights are beginning to come on.

Xiao Man's waist began to twist.

Lights of different colors shone recklessly.

It was dark, and many people stood behind me in Huacheng Square and looked at the tall buildings on the new central axis. They sighed: "How late will those poor people in the building have to work overtime?"

Haixinsha is brightly lit at night even if there is no concert.

Colorful lights were lit up in the square, like a bowl of colored noodles, and the tourists were like wontons in the noodles.

Okay, we are going to Beijing Road Food Street.

I was very impressed by a radish and beef offal on Beijing Road. It tasted from the 1990s and was very old. Back then, Beijing Road was still full of street buildings. This radish beef offal shop was a very small shop with a door and a deep shop. If you buy a bowl of radish and beef offal, the store manager will give you two bamboo sticks. This is the "buy one get two free" in history. You can only stand or squat on the roadside and eat "sily haha" because the bowl of foodie has just been taken out of the pot and is very hot. Although the crowd in front of the store didn't look like eating, the cooking food was really delicious. Now the street is full of "radish and beef offal", all claiming to be immediate family members of a time-honored brand. Moreover, the current appearance of the radish and beef offal is very amazing. It is a non-boiling soup pot with cooked radishes and some beef offal arranged around the pot. If you want to eat, the sister-in-law will take a paper bowl, pick two pieces of radish and beef offal from the queue next to the pot, and then scoop a spoonful of soup from the pot and fill it. It was still the two bamboo sticks and the same road on the street, but there were a few more small stools that doubled as tables and chairs. Pick a small stool that doesn't seem to have been used as a table and sit down. Take a bite of the beef offal, and then taste the soup. I'm not sure that they have ever lived in a soup pot. After tasting the radish again, I still wasn't sure that it had collaborated with beef offal. Looking at the N signs on the street saying that they are descendants of Lao Mou's family, I wondered why Lao Mou's breeding ability is so strong.

I ate a bowl of wonton noodles in this restaurant with many customers. For some reason, the noodle soup was radish beef offal soup. For the first time in my life, I enjoyed wonton noodles with radish beef offal flavor.

Although it was already dark, the pedestrians on the street were just walking around the street and did not turn into the store.

Look at this house. Although it is a "snack", it also has a second floor! I don't agree with the size view of old Guangzhou.

Guests are starting to come onstage.

There are many people in front of the skewer shop, and this is the beginning of eating pre-meal appetizers.

Wow, the audience in front of this store was full of people, and the female host introduced us to the program in the store with a smile.

I looked into the store. It was dark and there were people in front of the table. They should not be putting on makeup, right?

There is also a snack street in Wangfujing, Beijing, where tourists from all over the world come to Beijing to eat. Even those who cook and bring those who eat, there are basically no Beijingers on that street. The Beijingers all withdraw as soon as they reach that street corner because they smell a non-Beijing smell. I suspect that the snacks on this Beijing Road are also served to non-Cantonese people.

The next afternoon, we went to Shamian to have a look. First, we must look at the water surface of the Pearl River.

There are paths to walk along the river, and lights that turn on only at night so that boats on the river can use them as light signs to prevent them from crashing into the shore wall.

There are also some benches on the roadside for passers-by to sit and sleep on. We didn't sit because it was full.

When it gets dark, the red light goes on first.

There are not many pedestrians on the small road.

The dark side of Guangzhou's Shamian Building Complex began to light up.

There are mountains, water and waterfalls in the hotel lobby.

When I came out after eating, it was already dark on the street.

"Blue night and blue dream", blue lights come on.

The office is locked after work.

The lights were brightly lit in front of the primary school, and parents were waiting to pick up their children and go home from school.

Geometric symmetry.

On the winter solstice night in Guangzhou, coffee can be served outdoors.

All the priests in the church had left off work, leaving only Christ on duty.

Big beads and small beads fall on the jade plate.

Head towards Yanjiang West Road.

There is a century-old building on the road, which is the "Guangdong Customs" Building. Guangdong Customs was established in the 24th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1685) when the sea ban was opened. It was jointly called the three major customs of the Qing Dynasty, together with the "Jiang Customs" on the Bund of Shanghai and the "Tianjin Customs" on the Zizhu Forest on the Haihe River in Tianjin. This building at Guangdong Customs was built in 1916 and was built by the British in a neoclassical style.

In the ninth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1859), the British seized the administrative power of the General Revenue Department of Customs. Before the founding of New China, China's customs had always been managed by the British. On the roadside, a father was telling his son the history of Guangdong Customs.

Walking east, there is also a tall Western-style building. When I saw the words "Generosity" written on the gate, I thought I could enter at will. When I got to the front, I realized that it was not "generous", but "South Building". The door was closed.

Chatted with the security guard downstairs. He said the building was built in 1922 and was the tallest building in the country at that time. This building was built by Guangzhou Daxin Company. Below is the department store and upstairs are guest rooms.

Walking back to the river, couples were chatting along the river.

There is also a family of young and old, and one of them is guiding the river.

Of course there are boats on the river.

There must be a bridge on the river, otherwise won't you die if you can't get through it?

If there is a bridge, there may be a bridgehead, and there is indeed!

There are many people moving on the streets in Guangzhou at night, just living their nightlife.

It is hot in Guangzhou all year round. I remember that last year was also this season. I admired the watchtowers in Kaiping. It was so hot that I even wore a hurdle vest. Especially in summer, it is hot and humid, making it very uncomfortable. Tell me a very interesting thing. In the past, during the summer, the south would give out cool drinks, and some even gave out salt soda, to relieve the heat. Do you know what is posted in Guangzhou? Fat soup! People in Guangzhou are unique in making soups. They have various functions, including those that nourish the kidney, nourish the brain, and those that clear the lungs. I have seen work canteens in Guangzhou serve out soups to employees to clear heat and relieve heat at noon, such as cold melons and stewed dragon bones. Each person has a small pot and takes them back to drink. On such a hot day, there were no air conditioners in history, and even electric fans were luxury goods. Not only is it hot during the day, it is also hot at night, and it is not even cool at night. Southerners are too hot to sleep at night. In some places, they sleep on the streets. I have seen people sleeping on the streets in Nanjing and Changsha. At dinner, they splashed water on the sidewalks on both sides of the street to occupy space, and then each family moved out of their bamboo beds and stayed on the bamboo beds on the roadside after dark. Old people and old women sleep directly on bamboo beds, and young people hang mosquito nets on the bamboo beds and sleep inside them. Guangzhou people are more particular. I have never seen Guangzhou people sleeping on bamboo beds on the street in summer. People in Guangzhou go to food stalls at night, which are greenhouses with ventilation on all sides. They drink wine in the food stalls or something. A chicken claw can drink wine for half the night, or half a pig's foot, or a chicken neck. The pig's feet and pig's hands that Guangzhou people talk about are two different things. The pig's feet are the rear hoof, and the pig's hands are the front hoof. Then why don't they eat pig's fingers and drink wine? Because pig hands are expensive! Eat pork fingers every night? Then you might as well buy an electric fan. Guangzhou people are really particular. If you want northerners to drink, a plate of edamame or peanuts would be great, both vegetarian. If there is really no way to go, you can drink half a bottle of Erguotou by sucking a foreign iron nail. Therefore, food stalls in Guangzhou are open late, and people often eat and drink inside at two o'clock. Guangzhou needs to go to food stalls at night to escape the heat 300 out of 365 days a year, so it has developed the habit of living on the streets at night. Why is there no nightlife in Beijing? With the autumn wind coming, you have to go home, right? It wasn't until the beginning of the next year that it wasn't cold after nine o'clock in the evening, so I always went home and warmed myself around the stove at night, and there was no possibility of living on the streets at night.

Although the food street downstairs of our hotel was open until 11:30 at night, we still didn't eat and drink there to the end. As the saying goes,"Money is not the problem, the problem is lack of money." In fact, we got up early the next day and had to catch a plane, so that our "Jihai Winter Solstice Tour to the Flower City" event could be successfully concluded. Early the next morning, I had the last breakfast of the hotel, then boarded the return flight, and returned to my warm home in cold Beijing with the photos and feelings I had taken along the way. Although it's cold in Beijing, it's fun to organize photos and write posts at home. Okay, Lvbi.
