If it weren't for this flower viewing trip, I wouldn't have known that there was such a small island in Guangzhou. There is still no car connection or bridge connection to it. If you want to enter and exit the island, you can only use a ferry.
Dajisha Island, sandwiched between Huangpu and Panyu, is a small continent in the heart of the river. Spring is here as scheduled, and the rapeseed flowers in full bloom here bring a strong sense of spring, which is naturally quite attractive.
Guangzhou is warmer during this period, and the rapeseed flowers bloom earlier. The peak flowering period is estimated to be from the end of February to the beginning of March. If it goes on, it will be more difficult to see the most beautiful.
So at the beginning of March, we decided to choose a better day than to hit the sun and took time to go to Dajisha.
Since the island has not yet been opened to traffic, we have to take a boat at Wuyong Pier first. The nearest subway station to the terminal is Yufengwei on Line 13.
Metro Line 13 is a line opened at the end of 2017. Currently, only one phase has been opened, from Yuzhu Station to Xinsha Station. It has been more than three years since it was opened, and this is the first time I have taken this line. On weekdays, I spend more activities in the Laocheng District and Tianhe Haizhu, and I rarely go here.
The olive green subway logo color makes people feel comfortable. The overall environment is relatively new, and it can be clearly seen that it is a newly opened subway line. By the time the second phase is successfully opened, the number of people traveling is expected to double.
At least today, it is relatively looser and not crowded.
After getting off the subway and heading towards the dock, you can see the busy scene along the river. This is also the old port of Huangpu and one of Guangzhou's excellent seaports. Its throughput ranks among the top in the country. Its importance can be imagined.
When you come out of the subway station, you will see Wuyong Wharf after walking about a few hundred meters. To get to Dajee Sha Island, take a boat here. I would also recommend crossing the river by a regular large ship. After all, the qualifications are better and the safety measures are of course more complete.
For a two-yuan ticket, if you carry a car on the boat, you need to add an extra yuan, which is similar to the price of a bus. You can experience the thrill of sailing to an unknown distance by boat. This is a great value.
The boat only drove for a few minutes and soon docked at Shengyuzhou Wharf in the center of the river. Can this land I have never set foot on bring surprises to me?
It wasn't until I saw the golden sea of rapeseed flowers that I was sure that the trip was very worthwhile and unforgettable.
It happened that the day I went was a working day. I heard from residents on the island that there are not many people who come here to enjoy flowers on weekdays, but more people will flock in during holidays.
Not long after I arrived on the island, I saw some people selling tofu flowers. This reminded me of my trip to Lamma Island in Hong Kong. While walking on the mountain, I found a "Jianxing Yapo tofu flower" on the roadside, which was very pleasant.
Unfortunately, I saw a notice posted on the shop of this house saying,"Available only on Saturdays and Sundays." In desperation, I had to give up and go straight to the rapeseed field.
Dajisha Island covers an area of more than 1500 acres, mostly farmland. There are only a few hundred residents on the island. Although land is inaccessible and water is inconvenient, it still retains a relatively pure living habit.
After all, the planting area on the island is large, and the rapeseed flowers here are not limited to square inches of land. It is not an exaggeration to call them a sea of flowers.
There are several places where rapeseed flowers are grown, and the blooming conditions of each place are different. Since the boat and carriage are here, it is natural that they will not stop until they see the most beautiful flowers.
Because we set out a little late and delayed a lot of time on the road, when we really saw the rapeseed flowers, it was already past four o'clock in the afternoon. The scene in front of us surprised us, and we unknowingly stayed in one place for too long.
As we walked forward, we discovered another larger rapeseed field, growing very well and denser.
It was nearly evening, so there was too much time left to take photos at the scene, and there were still many elements that I thought were good, so I had to give up.
Therefore, I strongly recommend that friends who plan to go to admire flowers remember to set aside more time, and don't forget that it will take time to wait for the car and ship, so that they can be more comfortable in the beautiful sea of flowers and take pictures as they please. Beautiful photos.
After admiring the flowers, we can walk slowly towards the river. The pastoral scenery along the way is also very good. It is rare to come out to relax and relax, which is also excellent.
On the riverside, you can also overlook the Huangpu Bridge across both sides of the strait. The Huangpu Bridge was completed at the end of 2008 and has been in use for 13 years. The bridge has a total length of more than 7000 meters. Such a magnificent bridge building built across the Pearl River is called the "First Bridge in South China".
The bridge connects Huangpu and Panyu at both ends, ending the history of no through train between the two districts and strengthening exchanges between the two places.
Good times always pass quickly, and at night, there is nothing to relax on the island. We rushed to leave by boat, and we waited by the river for a long time but no boat came.
As far as I know, there is only one big ship, and the departure time is half an hour apart. Fortunately, there is a private boat waiting. In fact, the price is only one yuan more than the big boat, which is 3 yuan. Basically, you can sail the boat with a few people, which is relatively more convenient.
However, for safety reasons, I still suggest that you choose to take a regular big boat. If it is inconvenient to wait for the boat when it is dark on the way back, then consider private boats.
Overall, the trip to Dajee Sha Island was very enjoyable. Behind the prosperous city, it feels very good to find a niche attraction like a paradise and spend half a day.
I came here to see the rapeseed flowers, but I didn't expect that in addition to the flowers, the scenery on the island would be exciting enough.
Stealing a half-day leisure, spring returns to the earth to admire flowers. Friends who want to go to Dajisha to check in the sea of rapeseed flowers can make arrangements quickly while the weather is still good for a while.
