Unsettled National Day: In a small city in the west, I like to go out alone. Everyone knows that it is not suitable for traveling during the National Day period, but I don't want to miss this relatively long holiday. After all, there are still four or five days left in addition to the shift. Therefore, I was ready to plan a tourist destination before the National Day. At first, I planned to go to Changsha and Wuhan alone, and later it was changed to Guangzhou and Wuhan. Tickets were bought. Two or three days before the National Day, my parents asked to go together after hearing about it. Thinking about the old man's age, Going to two places will be tiring. I saw online that many places in Wuhan are being renovated due to the Military Games this year, which may have some impact, so let's go to Guangzhou. After making the decision, I quickly booked a hotel and high-speed rail ticket. Because the decision was late, the hotels in the city center were not only expensive, but many did not have suitable room types. After a long selection, I finally chose Hanting Hotel Guangzhou Yantang Subway Station Branch. The hotel is located in Tianhe District, more than 600 meters away from the subway station and 200 meters away from the bus station. The transportation is very convenient and there is a lot of food in the surrounding area. It is still quite lively. The average price per night is 301 yuan, including two mornings. This price is still acceptable in Guangzhou during the National Day period. The next step is booking tickets. In fact, there are many trains on the Guiyang-Guangzhou high-speed railway, which is very easy to buy tickets. However, because I wanted to buy trains with fewer stops, I used the waiting order function of 12306 and chose two trains, G2935 and G2921, both of which took more than 4 hours. Finally, I got the G2935. The entire trip cost more than 4,000 yuan.

Large transportation high-speed rail 370*6=2220

Hotel 300*4=1200

Bus and subway about 150

The rest is eating

DAY1: October 3: Departure and Arrival

This is the fifth time that I have been to Guangzhou, and I have gone with my parents. I get up at 7 o'clock, pack up and take a bus to Anshun West Station. The G8656 Anshun West to Guiyang North is the earliest high-speed train from Anshun to Guiyang and the only high-speed train from Anshun to Guiyang North. It starts at 8:36 and reaches 9:14. There is no need to leave the station for transfer. Go up the stairs at the ticket gate and show your ticket to enter the waiting hall. G2935 from Guiyang north to Guangzhou south. It leaves at 9:50. It is lunch time when it arrives in Guilin. It is still standard on trains, with instant noodles and ham sausage. It arrives at Guangzhou South at 14:24. It buys subway tickets at the station. There are many ticket purchasing machines that support mobile payment in the South Railway Station. I saw 12 of them, but later there were not so many at other stations. There were basically one or two. Of course, if one person is alone, it will be more convenient to add Yangchengtong bus card and Guangzhou Metro scanning bus directly to WeChat or Alipay. The subway runs for about 1 hour to Yantang Station on Line 6. After exiting Exit B, you will see the hotel by walking forward more than 600 meters. Check-in is quick. Because I have been here many times, I have been to basically all the popular attractions. There is enough time. There is no arrangement to go to the attractions today. I rest in my room until 5 o'clock and go directly to dinner. Not far from the hotel, there is a street called Yanling Road, which is basically full of food and all kinds of food. We chose Datang Roast Goose Fast Food Restaurant. I ordered the classic roast goose rice and pork knuckle rice, and ordered vegetables to match it. The taste is okay, and the amount is normal for most people. After eating, I slowly walked back and rested.

DAY2: October 4: Sanyuan Palace, former site of March 29 Uprising Headquarters, former site of Guangdong District Committee of the Communist Party of China, Guangzhou-Kowloon Railway Memorial Park, Dongshan Lake Park

I made a rough itinerary plan before coming, but there are still some differences between the actual plan and the actual plan because some places are being repaired or because I don't want to go back.

I got up and had breakfast at the hotel first. Two breakfasts were included when I booked the room, so I added one more on site. It was 18 yuan. After eating for four days, I think the price was still a good deal. I ate a lot of food and tasted good. Although I don't actually eat much, haha. After eating, take the bus to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall (Federation of Trade Unions). Follow the outer wall to the end. You can see the archway of Sanyuan Palace opposite. The visit is free. I remember the last time the family came together, it was undergoing repairs and didn't go in. I don't believe in any religion. I just look at places such as palaces, temples, temples, ancestral halls, churches and other places simply from the perspective of appreciating cultural relics and buildings, and then understand the history behind them. The place is not big, so it takes about 1 hour to visit.

Next, walk to the Memorial Hall of the former site of the March 29th Uprising Command. The museum was the general headquarters for the revolutionaries led by Dr. Sun Yat-sen to fight the decisive battle to overthrow the rule of the Qing Dynasty in 1911. It is located at No. 15 Xiaodongying, Yuehua Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City. The building supported by the memorial hall was originally the "Chaoyi Hall" of Qing Dynasty officials. It has four entrances and three bays, covering an area of 443 square meters. It is a four-depth brick-and-wood house with a single-storey and plain roof on both sides. The gate is a typical gate in Lingnan architecture; every entry in the courtyard is separated by a patio and a garden, all of which are equipped with typical residential architectural forms in Lingnan in the late Qing Dynasty. In the 1920s, it was bought by Alliance member Mr. Li Zhangda. Mr. Li Zhangda passed away in 1953. In 1955, Li Zhangda's wife Yin Yingxue and son Li Songgang donated their houses to the country in accordance with Mr. Li Zhangda's last wish. It was opened as a memorial hall in 1958. There were not many objects in the museum, mainly pictures. After looking at it carefully, we could read it all in less than an hour.

Still walking, the next stop is the Memorial Hall of the Former Site of the Guangdong District Committee of the Communist Party of China. The museum is located in the bustling Beijing Road Cultural District, surrounded by various time-honored brands. The memorial hall has four buildings, with a total of three floors. The third floor is the office space of all departments of the Guangdong District Committee of the Communist Party of China. The second floor is the reception room of the Guangdong District Committee of the Communist Party of China and the office place of the Guangdong District Committee of the Youth League. There are now several permanent exhibitions inside.

It was noon after the visit. We first ordered three desserts at the Mingji Desserts Shop opposite. Ginger Milk was only hot and the taste was okay, but it was too sweet. Double skin milk and coconut juice sago with papaya. These two are available on your own hot and cold choices, but they are not so sweet. Overall, they are okay. After eating, I originally wanted to eat Yinji Rice Noodles next to me. After checking that there was no place, I walked directly to Weixian Rice Noodles, which is also a very delicious chain store with fewer people.

Next, I planned to go to the former site of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions. When I reached the door, I found that it was under renovation and could not be visited. So I took the bus to the Guangzhou-Kowloon Railway Memorial Park. Because I am a train fan, I wanted to see the shadow of the station more than 100 years ago. This is equivalent to an open street park with a stone reading "Guangzhou-Kowloon Railway Memorial Park". It is the original site of Guangjiu Station, the starting point of the Guangjiu Railway, which was completed in 1911. It is also the old railway station in Guangzhou. When the new Guangzhou Station on Liuhua Road was completed in 1974, Guangjiu Station was no longer used and was demolished in 1985. Parking in the park is an antique steam locomotive and two green leather carriages. This locomotive is one of the last mass-produced steam locomotives in China, the "6501 Construction Model" steam locomotive. The "6501 Construction" steam engine locomotive has been parked in Haikou, Hainan Province since it was retired more than 50 years ago. After more than 100 days of renovation in 2016, it was transported by road to the Guangzhou-Kowloon Railway Memorial Park in Guangzhou. Some greening was also carried out in the park, and some booths introduced the history and development of the Guangzhou-Kowloon Railway. The whole park is very small. It takes half an hour to take photos and read the introduction.

Because there were some places we had not visited and it was still early, we decided to walk along the Second and Third Roads of Dasotou Road to the Pearl River. This is the famous Haiyin Bridge. In the distance, we can see the small waist. We also saw the Lin Zexu Memorial Park. It is actually a leisure park. The gate archway is facing the statue of Lin Zexu, and there are several ancient fortresses at the exit on the side of the Pearl River.

As we walked, we saw a park whose name was blocked by the display board for the 70th anniversary of the celebration. When we came closer, we saw Dongshan Lake Park. In line with the principle of early hours, we went in and walked around for a short while. Then I took the subway back to the hotel and bought Guangzhou specialty salt-roasted chicken for dinner on the way.

DAY3: October 5, Southern Han Second Mausoleum Museum, University Town, Xiaozhou Village

The Second Mausoleum Museum of the Southern Han Dynasty is within the scope of South China Normal University in Guangzhou University Town. It is quite far from the urban area. It takes about an hour and a half to take a bus from the hotel where we stayed. Take the bus to Huashi Station and get off, go back in the direction of the vehicle. When you see the intersection, turn right and keep moving forward. After walking about six to seven hundred meters, you will see the museum sign, but this is not the entrance. A security guard will tell you to follow the path on the right and go straight to the end. That is the main entrance of the museum.

The Second Mausoleum of the Southern Han Dynasty was discovered during the construction of Guangzhou University City in 2004. It includes the Deling Tomb of Liu Yin, the Lie Zong of the Southern Han Dynasty and the Kangling Tomb of Liu Yan, the Gaozu of the Southern Han Dynasty during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. It was listed as the top ten archaeological discoveries in the country at that time. In 2006, it was announced as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. The construction of the museum is carried out simultaneously with the construction of the university city. The museum is located on the mountain west of the Kangling site, with a building area of about 15100 square meters. There is a Southern Han History Exhibition Hall in the museum. For archaeological research specimen showrooms, public simulated archaeological activity centers, etc., use your ID card to collect tickets at the entrance at the self-service ticket collection machine, and swipe the ticket to enter.

Since the museum only officially opened on May 18 this year on International Museum Day, the facilities inside are new and relatively complete. The shortcoming is that the exhibits are not rich enough. The archaeological center is not open, and several exhibition halls are empty. If you look carefully, it will take about 2 hours.

After visiting, I visited the University Town, which gave me the feeling that it was really big. We wandered inside for more than an hour and only passed a small part of the Chinese Normal University, Zhongda University and Xinghai. We met a Hunan restaurant on the way to the bus. It was lunch time. We went in and ordered a piece of minced pork tofu, fried beef, and shredded sour and spicy potatoes. Not to mention, although the total was only more than 40 yuan, the taste was really good, especially shredded potatoes.

Xiaozhou Village is an ancient village in Haizhu District with the characteristics of Lingnan water town. It was built in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasties. It may be because there are many ancient villages I have seen and there are no particularly amazing discoveries. The main attractions here are Xiaozhou People's Auditorium, Jane's Ancestral Hall, etc.

Take the bus back to the hotel, which is quite far, takes more than an hour, but you can go directly without changing buses. I had pickled cabbage fish for dinner.

DAY4: October 6: Jinan University, South China University of Technology, Renwei Temple, Liwan Lake Park, Shangxiajiu

Today's itinerary is relatively relaxed. First, go to Wushan to visit the university, and then go to Liwan to experience old Guangzhou.

Take the BRT and get off at Normal University and Jinan University Station. You can walk forward or backward. Come to Jinan University first. The school gives people the feeling that it is relatively new.

Take the bus and pass through 4 stops and get off at the Chinese Normal University. On one side is the Chinese Normal University and on the opposite side is Huali, but it is not the main entrance. You can see a gymnasium at the entrance. It is typical of the Republic of China combined with European style. It is relatively large inside and has a piece of water. It seems to be still natural. Sitting by the lake and blowing in the wind to watch the swaying willows. It is quite beautiful.

Coming out of Huali, the next stop is Renwei Temple. Take Metro Line 3 and Line 1 and get off at Changshou Road Station, or turn to Line 5 and get off at Zhongshan No. 8 Station. It's just a short walk to get there. I have lunch on the way there, and it's also Weixian Rice Noodles. In fact, I think Guangzhou's Rice Noodles will taste good as long as you sit down and eat them at any restaurant that looks good.

Passing by Panxi Restaurant, next to the river and Liwan, dining in this place naturally has a unique style

Renwei Temple is not a big place. After reading the introduction, I realized that it was dedicated to Taoism. Before I came here, I always thought it was Buddhism when I saw the name, so I was ignorant. The place is not big and you can visit it in half an hour.

Renwei Temple is next to Liwan Lake Park, so we naturally want to visit it. The park has a large lake area and is a comprehensive park integrating sightseeing, sports, entertainment, and rest. The words on the archway at the gate of the park were inscribed by Shen Junru, former chairman of the Democratic League and president of the Supreme People's Court.

Then it is to feel old Guangzhou. When you come out of Liwan Lake Park and walk to Shangxiajiu, you will see many old buildings in Guangzhou along the way. These buildings have basically been announced by the government as historical buildings or registered and protected immovable cultural relics.

Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, um, is really a pedestrian street, the same as all pedestrian streets in the country, but there are more time-honored Guangzhou brands to eat.

I bought grosveno grosvenori chrysanthemum tea at an herbal tea shop on the road. Because I bought a cup of freshly brewed herbal tea last time, it was really too bitter, so I didn't dare to buy it this time and cried with laughter.

For dinner, I had Xiguan pot rice in the alley. I ordered cured pot rice, shiitake mushroom chicken pot rice, coconut stewed chicken with shredded bamboo, and radish beef offal. The total was 73 yuan. How to put it, it's a little worse than expected. The taste of pot rice is average, not as good as the one eaten in Chaoji on New Year's Day. The radish and beef offal are salty. The coconut stewed chicken with bamboo silk is okay, but it's sweet. Please remind your friends to pay attention.

After eating, take the subway back to the hotel. Line 6 Yide Road Station. A little further from this station is the Shishi Sacred Heart Cathedral.

DAY5: October 7, Huanghuagang Park, Beijing Road

This afternoon, I returned by train and checked places I had not been to in the city. Huanghuagang Park was not bad, so I decided to use the morning to go there.

Huanghuagang Park, also known as Huanghuagang 72 Martyrs Cemetery, was built to commemorate the martyrs who died in the March 29th Uprising in Guangzhou on April 27, 1911 (March 29 of the 1911 lunar calendar). It is an important witness to Guangzhou's role as the birthplace of modern revolution and the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. The classics inside mainly include the Memorial Monument, the Ink Pond, the Tomb of the Seventy-two Martyrs, the Huanghua Pavilion, Sun Yat-sen's Hand-planted Pine Tree Memorial Office, the Panda Wei Tomb, the Uprising embossed, etc. The tour lasts 1-2 hours.

When I came out of Huanghuagang Park, it was still a little early, so I went to Beijing Road for a while and bought Zhouhei Duck. Haha, I saw the sign of Lingnan Financial Museum, but I didn't go in. Finally, we had lunch at Ducheng Fast Food and took Metro Line 2 directly to Guangzhou South Railway Station. D212 Guangzhou south to Guiyang north, 14:00-18:14. Unexpectedly, the EMU also encountered the Fuxing. After arriving at Guiyang North Railway Station, transfer directly to the G1377 high-speed railway from Guiyang North to Anshun West to go home, 18:46-19:16.

Next month, if you have time, go to Luoyang.
