About Dapingchuan

This story starts with Zheng He's voyages to the West in the Ming Dynasty. Guangzhou was the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road and one of the ports where Zheng He's fleet sailed. According to expert research, Zheng He had already set sail to Siam (ancient name in Thailand) before he went to the Western Ocean (countries bordering the Indian Ocean). The first time he went to Siam was to do a "thorough" work on a large-scale voyage to the Western Ocean.

After Zheng He arrived in Siam, he conducted surveys on the island's mountains, hydrological data, local customs and customs, and also made preparations for the voyage.
