Our first stop in Guangzhou was to go to Guangzhou Restaurant for morning tea. At 8:30 in the morning, the shop was already crowded with people. I took a gentle bite, and the delicious shrimps slipped into my mouth. I counted carefully. Wow, one shrimp dumpling actually contained 7 shrimps. It's really a "big stomach"! Next up is the famous tangerine peel beef balls, which is a delicacy that my mother has been planting for a long time. A beef ball is about the size of a tennis ball, and scattered tangerine peel grains can be vaguely seen. With one bite, the elasticity and tenderness of the beef echoed in the mouth, with the fragrance of tangerine peel. The beef and tangerine peel combine, fat but not greasy, sweet but not thick.
It is said that the Chen Tianji fish skin on Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street is also very famous. In the scorching summer, in order to enjoy this delicious taste, we also worked hard! The small shop selling fish skin was hidden deep in a small alley. We searched house by house. Finally, in a small stone alley covered with moss and only the width of a person, we found the not-so-eye-catching sign, which has the meaning of "Shuicun Shanguo Wine Flag Style." The landlady said that their cold fish skin is the best. The small fish skin rolls with beautiful patterns are lying on the plate with green coriander on them. I picked one up and put it in my mouth. It is thick, crisp, and tastes a bit like jellyfish. When paired with soy sauce, the taste is even more delicious.
There are thousands of delicious food in Guangzhou, but Shunde is the focus of our trip to find delicious food.
On the edge of Qinghui Garden, Shunde's famous garden, there is a very simple food street, which hides many "big coffee" shops with Internet celebrities. We walked around casually and walked into a herbal tea shop called "Min Jun". Hearing from the young lady in the store that drinking hawthorn and Ophiopong drinks this season can help digestion and strengthen the spleen, we happily had a bowl. In fact, the taste of herbal tea is really complicated. It is a bit like the traditional Chinese medicine I drink. The treasure of this store is turtle jelly. Turtle jelly is made from tortoise plastron and traditional Chinese medicine. The black turtle jelly in the white porcelain bowl is like a piece of obsidian, so beautiful and pure. Gently dig a mouthful of turtle jelly sprinkled with brown sugar. The sweetness is wrapped in bitterness, and the bitterness flows sweet. The turtle jelly with Q bullets bounces in your mouth like jelly, and a kind of happiness arises spontaneously...
Before coming out of the herbal tea shop, the young lady in the shop pulled me and said quietly: "The one diagonally opposite is 'Ximei Beef Offal'. It's very famous. It's rare that there are not many people today. You might be able to grab a seat for dinner if you go now." When we rushed to "Ximei Beef Offal", we had not even opened for business, and eager diners had already taken up seats in the store. There was also a long line in front of the stove, all the way to the curb across the street. "Is this why there are not many people?" I couldn't help but complain, but I had to line up obediently. I don't know how long it took, but my mother finally came to me with a box of delicious beef offal. I counted carefully and found that there were beef, beef stomach, beef intestines, and unknown internal organs... I couldn't wait to pick up a piece. Wow, this taste was really worth our wait for so long. Later, we returned to "Ximei Beef Offal" and bought a large portion of radishes in beef soup, and then we embarked on the journey back with satisfaction.
