1. How to get to the island?

The best way is to start from Yangshuo High-speed Railway Station. The island is only seven or eight kilometers away from Yangshuo High-speed Railway Station. It takes ten minutes to take a taxi to Xingping Ancient Town without traffic jams. The cost is about twenty to thirty yuan. Then take a ferry across the river from Xingping Wharf. The ferry fare is 5 yuan/person one way. You can pay on Weixin Pay, which is very convenient. Including the time waiting for the boat, crossing the river will only take 5 minutes at most. On the other side of the river, there is a car to pick up and drop off at B & B.

2. How to get to Damian Mountain/Xianggong Mountain?

These two mountains are not far from the dock, so you can contact the store to carpool there. If you go alone, it is not recommended. First, the fare is expensive, and it costs two to three hundred people to charter a car for one person, which is not cost-effective; second, there is no care.

4. How to get to Huangbutan?

The island is not big. It takes about ten minutes to walk to Huangbutan and a few minutes by sightseeing bus.

Generally speaking, there is a lot of rain in spring, which is the flood season, and the river water is prone to rise. For safety reasons, ferries may be suspended at this time.

In late August in summer, the water on the river beach can easily drop. At this time, you can walk to the center of the river beach to take an invincible reflection.

I went there in mid-August. It was the most beautiful time when there was water and the water level was not deep, so I could wade across the river beach.

2. How to capture the most beautiful moment of the reflection of the yellow cloth?

Arrive at 6:20, so that you can avoid the high temperatures in the afternoon and catch up with the moment when the sun sets and leaves a dazzling light.

If you want to see the beautiful sunset, you have to be patient and stay by the river from 6:30 to 7:30.

It's best to spray some mosquito repellent water or something before leaving. There are many small mosquitoes by the water's edge, so there's no need to discuss biting you.

Climbing Xianggong Mountain is all about watching the sunrise. If you have to come during a holiday, you have to hurry early to have a place. It is best to arrive at the observation deck at 5:30, otherwise the three-story observation deck will not be able to accommodate you.

3. About the itinerary

DAY1: Arrive at B & B-Huangbutan Playing Water

After arriving at the B & B from all over the morning, you naturally have to have a good rest before you can go to Huangbutan, the 20-yuan shooting site, to be happy in the afternoon!

When it comes to the reflection of yellow cloth, it is estimated that not many people know about it, but it is well known to all people at RMB 20. If it's not clear enough, please take out your wallet and pull out a 20-yuan landscape photo on the back. That's right, Huangbutan is the scene location for RMB 20! Huangbu Beach has always been famous for its reflection. Whenever the sun sets, two completely different scenes appear in Huangbu Beach. On one side, children and ducks are playing happily, and on the other hand, there is a century love song between mountains and water. For me, a photography enthusiast + sunset catcher, the reflection of yellow cloth cannot be enough no matter how I look at it.

When I lived on the island, whenever 6 o'clock in the afternoon came, I would rush to the beach like an arrow leaving the bow just to see the reflection of the yellow cloth in the glow. When the sun was still hanging over the tops of clusters of mountain peaks, the entire yellow cloth beach was bathed in dazzling gold; when the sun went down, the water gradually became quiet, and slowly, the orange light gradually appeared; as the light became darker and darker, there was a trace of red light on the horizon, which became more and more vivid, until it occupied the entire sky...

Looking at the mirror-like water, it is not the water surface, but the inverted sky. Light and shadow is like a magician with super powers. Under her skillful dressing up, the reflection of the yellow cloth has thousands of charms and all kinds of beauty. No matter which one is like a poem and a painting, you will get drunk if you are not careful.

DAY2: Climbing on Xianggong Mountain/Damian Mountain-Hiking on the Ancient Osmanthus Road-Praying for blessings at Tengjiao Nun

Today's itinerary is very rich. We will set off at 5 a.m. to climb the mountain to watch the sunrise. Xianggong Mountain or Damian Mountain are both excellent choices; we will return to our residence to rest at noon; we will set off at 5 p.m. to hike the Osmanthus Ancient Road. Since Tengjiao Nunnery is on the way to the Ancient Osmanthus Road, we can pray together.

For Xingping, Yangshuo, the most important thing is mountains and water. The water is naturally the clear water of the Li River; there are many mountains. Standing anywhere in Xingping, when you open your eyes, you will see all kinds of grotesque mountains. Clusters of mountains are both connected and independent. If there were soul mates in the world, it would look like this.

There are two ways to see mountains here. One is to look from afar, such as Luoshi Mountain, quarrels among monks and nuns, dressing up by beautiful women, Wuzhi Mountain, Jiuma Mountain, Yuanbao Mountain, etc. Looking from afar gives infinite space for imagination. If the poet fairy Li Bai comes, I wonder how many romantic quatrains will be left behind!

The second is mountain climbing. Although there are advantages in looking at it from afar, you have to climb it yourself to see clearly the true colors of Mount Lushan and appreciate the momentum of climbing the top and seeing the small mountains. During my stay in Xingping, I climbed two mountains, one is the long-famous Xianggong Mountain, and the other is Damian Mountain, which is still in a wild state. Both mountains have their own merits, but both can enjoy the super invincible sunrise. A friendly reminder, if you are watching the sunrise, you must prepare enough time and arrive at the viewing point at six o'clock, especially Xianggong Mountain. You must go early because there are so many people that you are afraid!

There is a three-story observation deck on Xianggong Mountain, where the beautiful Li River makes a big bend. If you want to watch the sunrise, it is best to arrive at the observation deck at 5:30 in the morning. Also, be sure to avoid national holidays such as summer vacation and National Day, otherwise there are so many people that you won't even have room to stand. The weather was not ideal that day, and the sunrise couldn't wait long. Just as the crowd gradually dispersed, the sun jumped out from behind the mountain and quickly hid behind clouds as thick as cotton wool.

Immediately afterwards, the clouds and mist began to dance gracefully on the river. Unconsciously, the clouds and mist intertwined on the mountainside. The looming land of Bagui is now the top work of ink painting.

If Xianggong Mountain is a neatly dressed city girl, then Damian Mountain is a wild girl who is unruly. Weeds are overgrown here and vines cover the sky. Although there are also steps, they have long been occupied by weeds. The climbing along the way can be described as cutting thorns and thorns. When you reach two-thirds of the way, the stepped road disappears and is replaced by reinforced steps on the cliff. Without the support of the heavy earth, it is floating. It feels like walking through the clouds. I am also a bold person, but I am still scared to climb here.

An hour later, as if I had been fished out of the water, I was standing on a platform that was approximately 10 square meters by visual inspection, and my eyes suddenly became suddenly enlightened. Clusters of mountains are lined side by side on the land of Bagui, with the beauty of ups and downs of big and small beads falling on a jade plate. The faint Li River meanders away along these beautiful green mountains... What is it to open and close, what is the majestic momentum, what is the best landscape in the world? Finally, I got the perfect answer in this moment.

While my thoughts were still wandering, the red sun jumped out of the mountain peak directly opposite me. Between heaven and earth, between the mountains and rivers, I was awakened from sleep like an electric shock. The chirping insects and singing birds began another morning concerto... Then look at Sister Zhou and Brother Qin, who had accompanied me all the way through thorns and thorns and had already been exhausted. Looking at their sweaty backs, and then looking at this invincible and spectacular sunrise scene, my heart was filled with emotion and joy. Having world-class scenery to see and a lovely soul to accompany me is a great blessing in life. I thank you for the shock that Guilin's mountains and rivers have brought to me, and my brothers and sisters who accompanied me to climb the mountain to watch the sunrise.

You can start hiking at 4 or 5 p.m. The Osmanthus Ancient Road is long and narrow. It is a blue stone road built with the mountains. It has its petite figure from the foot of Luoshi Mountain to Damian Mountain. Because century-old osmanthus trees are planted on both sides of the road, flowers bloom whenever it is crisp in autumn. When it is fragrant for ten miles, it is named the Osmanthus Ancient Road.

I heard from the waiter in the shop that the Ancient Osmanthus Road existed when he was a child. Whenever the osmanthus season comes, you will pull a hammock directly between two big trees and hit the trunk with a stick while lying down. The osmanthus will fall from the branches like snowflakes. My younger brother said that in those days, osmanthus could be sold for a good price...

However, I don't know when it started, but the number of osmanthus trees here gradually decreased, while the cash crops orange trees and grapefruit trees spread again and again. Looking at this silent change, I don't know whether I should be happy or sad. I just hope that when I visit the old place again for several years, I can still smell the fragrance of the ancient osmanthus tree.

If you are a careful person, you will also find a dazzling blue like peacock blue on the grass, which is the excellent ground cover plant Cuiyun Grass. Although it's just a grass, it's magical. The fine leaves change with the change of light. Once they come into contact with external force, such as being sprayed by water, they will instantly lose their sapphire blue luster and change from blue back to grass green consistent with the surrounding environment. Could it be that this grass also has a self-protection system like the dead leaf butterfly?

Go straight along the Osmanthus Road. When there is no road, you will pass through the orange forest of the farmhouse. At the corner, you will usher in a new world. The entire scene of Sickle Bend has a panoramic view and is beautiful.

As you walked, you bumped into Tengjiao Nunnery unexpectedly. Tengjiao Nunnery is a nunnery built in a karst cave, backed by Luoshi Mountain and facing the Li River in front.

There is a flying stone in the center of the river in front of the nunnery. It is thin and transparent, and it is very beautiful reflected in the water. According to local people, the pool of clear water in front of the nunnery will never dry up. When the water level in other parts of the entire inland river drops or even dries up, it still looks watery here, and lively and dancing fish can be vaguely seen.

The history of Tengjiao Temple can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty. It is said that in the early Ming Dynasty, a Taoist priest built a thatched hut here, and an nunnery was built in Wanli of the Ming Dynasty. When He Tengjiao, a native of Xingping Town, took a boat to Beijing to test pass through this nunnery, a sudden strong wind broke out and rained continuously. The young student then made a wish that if the wind and rain stopped, he would come back to promote Buddhism after passing the examination. After making the vow, the weather became fine. Later, he passed the second Jinshi examination. After serving as the governor of Huguang, he still wished to rebuild the temple. This is the origin of Tengjiao Nunnery. Now it has become a good place for local people to pray for blessings.

DAY3: Shopping in Xingping Ancient Town---Exploring Lotus Rock---Return Journey

Xingping Ancient Town is very close to Lotus Rock, and you can visit these two attractions in the morning. After the afternoon trip is over, you can go back to your homes!

Xingping Ancient Town is in the northeast of Yangshuo County, 25 kilometers away from the county seat. The Li River makes a big bend here. Marshal Ye Jianying once said: "Sure enough, the victory lies in Xingping." Painter Xu Beihong came here to sketch and also said: "The beautiful scenery of Yangshuo is in Xingping."

Xingping Ancient Town has a long history. It was established as Xiping County during the Three Kingdoms Period. Later, the administrative office was moved to Yangshuo Town. It was not abandoned, but became the most pyrotechnic weddle. Xiping gradually became Xingping.

Xingping Wharf can be said to be the most lively place in the whole town. Fruit sellers, river crossings, locals, outsiders, white-skinned and yellow-haired people, yellow-bred people, etc. People of all kinds meet here in a hurry and pass by quickly. What a vivid Xingping genre painting.

Lianhuayan is not far from Xingping Ancient Town and can be reached in about ten minutes by car. Although I had seen many caves before, I was still completely amazed when I came to Lotus Rock. Lotus Rock is named Lotus Rock because of the stone lotus flower (also known as cloud basin) in the rock.

Walking into the cave, you will find milky stones all over the place and in thousands of shapes. I just hate that my eyes can't see it!

The most amazing thing is the wonder of Liantang. There are actually 108 cloud basins of large and small like lotus leaves floating on the water surface. The basins are all filled with natural cave beads. Seeing them makes people's eyes shine, and they have to sigh with the magic of nature!

4. About accommodation

There are many accommodation options in Xingping Ancient Town, ranging from international youth tourism to high-end vacation types. This is frugal. I had been considering whether to live in a town or on an island, and finally chose the island's B & Bs Shanshui Rumors. In the past, you needed to take a small ferry of 5 yuan each way. After getting off the boat, the neatly dressed housekeeper was already waiting on the dock. After walking through a dense phoenix tail bamboo forest, you reached Shanshui Ballad.

From the appearance, it is an ordinary small Western-style building. As soon as she entered the door, the young lady at the front desk served a cup of golden tea, which was said to be very expensive. The soup was red and charming, and it was refreshing to drink it. (Later, I checked through Baidu and found that golden tea is "the giant panda in the botanical world". I regret not drinking it hard during my stay...)

The layout of the entire lobby is very elegant, and the sound of a guqin can be heard from time to time. Looking to the left, it turns out that it is a beautiful beauty playing the piano, and my impetuous heart quickly calmed down.

I took the elevator to the second floor. When the waiter opened the room, I forgiven me for my loss of composure and shouted loudly. I never expected that the mountain and water ballad would move the Suzhou Garden into the guest room. The entrance was a blue stone road, and both sides were also covered with white pebbles... Sure enough, being rich means being willful!

There is a wooden pane dominated by a small triangle. Through this pane, there is a green bamboo forest in front of you... When you get closer, there is a large circular bathtub next to the bamboo forest, which is really a surprise.

Continuing in, there is also a small world for drinking tea. There are charming patterns on the small teacup. Later, the waiter told me that this tea set was painted and made by the painter himself and was an orphan... I was afraid that if it was broken, my concubine really couldn't afford to pay for it... Of course, with such an elegant tea room, calligraphy and painting are naturally indispensable. While drinking Dahongpao, I feel naturally beautiful.

The whole room has the beauty of Chinese classics, and is full of careful plans. Intelligence can be said to be the key word. Needless to say, the bedding is comfortable and natural. The most exciting thing is the heating towel rack and smart toilet. For people who go out often, washing clothes is really a distressing thing, but you can do whatever you want here, and my mother no longer has to worry about my clothes getting wet during the trip. Dada or smelly. The smart toilet is also very powerful. When you approach it automatically opens. It is still hot when you sit on it, and the temperature can be adjusted by yourself! After going to the toilet, the toilet will clean itself, and I feel endlessly that technology really changes lives.

When I originally placed the order, I still had some hesitation. Whether the room was so expensive was worth it or not. When I moved in, I instantly fell in love with it here. When I left, I actually met two masters in the cafe. One was the writer Huang Jishu, the author of the best-selling book "The Romance of the Guangxi System"; the other was the artist Liu Shaohui, the founder of the Yunnan Heavy Color Painting School. At that moment, I was completely lost, and all the literary and artistic cells in my heart began to stir, and I didn't want to leave at all...

5. About food

Living on the island means living in the scenery. The scenery and comfort are very good. The price is that there are not so many choices for eating. Fortunately, the B & B I stayed in is very powerful. As a person who often travels from south to north, his mouth has long been raised very well, but their food is really good. It is so delicious that I almost fall in love with the chef. The key point is, the following are my great love. Share it with friends.
