We finally met again. It was a while since the first travel note, but we came back in the end. This time we went to Guilin, where the mountains and rivers are the best in the world. As always, we still used photos to record every moment of the trip. If you like my photos, you can also communicate with me. Okay, let's use photos to outline this new journey!

travel notes

It's July again, and it's the year-long travel season. This time we still chose a family trip. We did not hesitate when choosing a destination. That's right, it's Guilin! Guilin is a famous tourist city with a long history and has received more than 200 heads of state. It is famous for "Guilin's mountains and rivers are the best in the world" and has always been a place I want to go. The mountains and rivers here make people linger. If you like photography, you must come here and you can really take good photos.

Compared with the big city where we live, Guilin is not big. It is almost surrounded by bamboo shoots mountains of large and small. The Li River shuttles through it, making it almost like living in nature. The pace of people's life here is not fast. I like the feeling of life here very much. I suffer from the fast pace of the city all year round. When you come here, you can completely relax yourself and taste the charm of the city comfortably. The streets here are not wide and there are not many cars. People ride on small batteries and travel leisurely. The air here is so fresh, and the whole city is between green mountains and clear waters, like a large-scale natural oxygen bar. Thanks to the lack of large-scale industries, Guilin is still the original Guilin, a Guilin favored by nature!

I have to sigh at our good luck every time we travel. Just a week before our departure, Guilin suffered heavy rains for several days, causing the water level of the Li River to exceed its highest point. Everywhere was submerged by the river. All tourist attractions were closed, and all water projects were stopped. I also always pay attention to the weather in Guilin. Before traveling, the weather forecast showed that it would be rainy during the past few days, and I was a little worried. But I believe in my good luck. Last year's trip to Kansai, Japan, was also in July. As we all know, July in Japan is the rainy season and typhoons are frequent visitors. However, during the eleven days we were there, the sun was shining every day, and there was no sign of typhoons. Seeing it, although it was a little hot, it was much better than staying in the hotel when it rained every day. Sure enough, during these seven days in Guilin, the good weather still cared for us. This is a great relief for a photography enthusiast like me. It can allow me to take more beautiful films. I hope this good luck will always accompany us., lead us to more places and enjoy more beautiful scenery!

While traveling domestically, the train is my first choice of transportation. I have always felt that taking the train gives me the most feeling of traveling. It's not that I can reach my destination with a lazy sleep on the plane, but that I can look at the scenery outside the window and step by step. It may be a good idea for the whole year. I am tired at a fast pace, so I prefer this feeling of leisurely and contented. The 20-hour journey did not make me feel long at all. The natural shaking of the green leather car allowed me to quickly fall asleep. Tomorrow we will arrive at the place where we aspire to.

The train arrived at Guilin North Railway Station on time at noon. Perhaps because it was surrounded by mountains and rivers, Guilin was much cooler than Shanghai's hot weather. After leaving the station, we went to the designated place to wait for a pre-booked chartered car. The master was very enthusiastic to help us carry our luggage. On the way to the first hotel, the master had already introduced us to the history, layout and attractions of Guilin city. My first impression when I came to Guilin felt that the people here were very friendly and very good!

After taking a short rest at the hotel, we walked to Xiangshan Park, which is very close to the hotel. Xiangshan Park is a must-check attraction when visiting Guilin. You will inevitably see it in the Guilin city trademark. As soon as you enter the park, you feel the crowd here. Various tour groups alternate among them. The best shooting spot in Xiangshan is crowded with people. The most popular scenic spot in Guilin is indeed worthy of its reputation, and it brings a strong commercial atmosphere. Seeing this situation, I could only get into the crowd, find a suitable spot, and quickly take two photos. Looking carefully, I can't help but sigh at the extraordinary craftsmanship of nature. The whole mountain is like an elephant drinking water by the river, lifelike. Guilin belongs to a typical karst landform, with bamboo shoots in the majority, and rare things are the most precious. Things like Xiangshan are still very rare.

If you want to avoid the crowd, you can also try taking a bamboo raft and viewing the panoramic view of Xiangshan on the river from a different angle. A bamboo raft floats on the river and enjoys the beautiful scenery alone. This feeling must be very good!

When I woke up, my first reaction was to open the curtains to see how the weather was. As expected, it was really good weather, and the good mood of the day began. The driver, Master Li, was already waiting at the door early in the morning. Although he was short in stature, he was strong. He helped us carry our luggage one by one onto the car. Master Li is a native of Guilin and has a good understanding of the local customs and customs. He told us what we need to pay attention to during our trip to avoid being tricked.

Today, our itinerary was to take a cruise ship to tour the Li River and then arrive at Yangshuo Pier. We got off the bus and took the boat. Master Li took our luggage to Yangshuo Pier to pick us up. Arriving at the cruise ship terminal, there are already several cruise ships docked here. The cruise ship has two floors in total. We booked seats on the second floor, which is much less crowded than the first floor, so we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Li River. When all the people arrived, the cruise ship slowly drove out of the dock and officially started today's journey.

Although there is air conditioning in the cabin, the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Taiwan Strait made me unable to hold back. The whole trip lasted for more than 4 hours. I hardly sat there. The place I stayed for the longest time should be the sightseeing deck on top of the cruise ship. The scenery of the Li River is so beautiful that it dizzying. Under the explanation of the ship's guide, we understood the "true meaning" of the peaks on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. The cruise ship moved on the Li River, and the peaks on both sides stood tall, uneven and in different shapes. The boat is not traveling fast, giving tourists enough time to appreciate and imagine.

Halfway through the boat, we arrived at the most famous attraction on the Li River: "Nine Horse Painting Mountain". A huge high mountain was displayed in front of us. The boat gradually approached and saw several bare places on a stone wall that had been eroded over time. It is the special features of these places that create this spectacle. It is like nine lifelike horses with different postures. Some look like running, as if galloping on a battlefield; some look like climbing upwards, wanting to be the king standing on the highest peak. Under the guidance of the tour guide, I gradually identified all nine horses. If I had to search for them myself, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to collect them all. Since ancient times, only one person has recognized everything, and that is our beloved Premier Zhou Enlai.

After more than 4 hours of beautiful scenery, the cruise ship arrived at the end of the trip-Yangshuo Wharf, Yangshuo. My first impression was that it was more pastoral than Guilin City. This is the most essential section of Guilin's karst landform. Typical bamboo shoots mountains are scattered all over the small town. In addition, the Yulong River, the largest tributary of the Li River, runs through it. The perfect combination of mountains and water makes me feel relaxed and relaxed, making me look forward to the next two days of Yangshuo.

On the way to the parking lot, I passed a very characteristic street. It was full of various bars and restaurants. From time to time, foreigners rode electric donkeys to shuttle through it. Later, I learned that this was Yangshuo's famous West Street. Later, one night we came here specially. We saw the lights and the crowds were bustling, the cries of various shops and loud music everywhere. If we wanted to go deeper, we had to walk shoulder to shoulder and move forward slowly. Maybe I prefer a quiet environment and don't like this atmosphere very much. Seeing this, I hid in a restaurant, ate authentic beer fish and left.

The original West Street was just a small country road, just a small village, very quiet and simple. However, this scene has long gone forever. With the vigorous development of tourism, countless foreigners and foreign businessmen have come here to open bars and restaurants, completely subverted the previous West Street. Speaking of this, I can only sigh that this is the two sides of things. Everyone's living standards have improved and the original living environment has been destroyed to a certain extent. This is inevitable. Of course, each has its own preferences, and some people will still like the current West Street, which has also created the popularity of the current West Street. Since the hotel was in the Yulong River Scenic Area, I made a trip back home early.

When I got up in the morning, I stood on the balcony and looked at the rolling mountains in the distance. I breathed the fresh morning air of Yangshuo. I felt particularly comfortable. After eating a bowl of Guilin rice noodles and two steamed buns, I was ready to start today's trip. This morning, we will be going to the Yulong River for a bamboo raft experience. There are not many people at the dock in the morning. We may be the first batch of tourists. We put on our life jackets and chose a bamboo raft and were ready to set off. We experienced a big bamboo raft, with a boatman on one raft. We chatted for a while. They are all villagers in the surrounding villages. Tourism development has solved local employment, which is a good thing. The boatman master holds a pole about ten meters long in his hand. For each pole he supports, the boatman master will use great force to insert the pole into the bottom of the river to urge the bamboo raft to slide forward. He lamented how hard their work is. As the bamboo raft slowly gains power and will float forward in the direction of the water, the master can finally take a breath and look at the scenery on both sides of the river. There are bamboo shoots and mountains, dotted with the Yulong River and bamboo rafts, forming a beautiful scenery. Each bamboo raft is equipped with a homemade water gun, so that everyone can play with each other and be very happy. The water of the Yulong River is crystal clear. I heard from the boatman that if it had not rained some time ago, the water would have been clearer.

The bamboo raft has arrived at a section of the river embankment, which will be our turn back point. You can rest here, make some adjustments, and stand on the river embankment. The green mountains in the distance can be seen endless. There are some local old ladies selling popsicles here. We bought a few and gave them to the boatman to thank him for his service to us. Then we began to return home. Although the whole bamboo raft experience was not long, the whole process was still very enjoyable. A bamboo raft floated in the river and had a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery on both sides of the river. We also felt the difficulty of the boatmen and paid tribute to their profession!

In fact, it is not enough to spend one day in the Yulong River Shili Gallery Scenic Area. I still have regrets this time. If you come again next time, you must hike by the Yulong River. If you are swimming in paintings, you will definitely have a unique taste.

There is a scenic spot here called "Camel Crossing the River". The mountain on the right looks like a camel that has just crossed the river. It is very vivid.

Although the boatmen work very hard, they always smile and laugh. It seems that they still enjoy this kind of work very much.

Remember the scenery on the back of the 20 yuan RMB? That's right, it's here. We took time to ask Master Li to take us here. In fact, this is a very small viewing platform. It may be too famous and has long been occupied by photo vendors. Of course, we ignored the meeting. Unexpectedly, they would take a photo of us without our consent. This practice was very hateful. Later, we found that many scenic spots used the same trick to attract tourists to buy their photos. As we were familiar with the routines, we took photos and left them with a message, hoping that everyone would not be easily manipulated.

This time in Guilin, I really ate a lot of rice noodles. Near noon, I ate a bowl of rice noodles on the edge of the Li River and killed lunch. The rice noodles here were really cheap and the quantity was sufficient. I chatted with the boss and learned that some time ago The heavy rain caused the water of the Li River to overflow. The place where we eat now was flooded. We also watched the video from the time. We were very shocked after watching it and lamented that we were really lucky and should cherish everything in front of us more.

When we arrived at the secluded paradise, it started to rain. We braved the rain and took a boat to tour the entire Yanzi Lake. The rain stopped soon. When the boat passed through the dark and narrow Yanzi Cave, it suddenly became clear. A beautiful scenery written by Tao Yuanming appeared in front of you. The land was flat and the houses were like a shape. The entire peach blossom forest came into view, perfectly restoring the Peach Blossom Garden. The scene in the record.

The Tianwai Taoyuan is full of ethnic minority elements. During the cruise, we will see the beautiful dances of different ethnic minorities in Guangxi from time to time, showing their customs and customs. Here, we see ethnic minority buildings with unique styles, traditional and ancient weaving techniques, like a museum of ethnic minority culture, have taught us a lot of knowledge.

After the rain, the sky shines brightly, and the entire paradise outside the world looks particularly charming against the blue sky, white clouds, green waters and green mountains.

After coming out of the world's paradise, we drove to the next stop. The car drove along the winding mountain road for a long time. We lamented the great driving skills of Master Li. How could this mountain road be driven without certain experience? We only saw our car climbing all the way. The scenery outside the window was particularly spectacular. The road was surrounded by green mountains and pastoral villages shuttled through it. In the blink of an eye, we had already surpassed the surrounding mountains, which means that we were about to reach our final destination today-Xianggong Mountain. He got off the bus and praised Master Li's superb driving skills. Unexpectedly, in his eyes, this was just a piece of cake. The mountain road tomorrow will be really amazing and I am really looking forward to it.

Xianggong Mountain is a relatively unpopular scenic spot that ordinary tour groups will not set foot in. After all, this kind of mountain bus is not easy to get up. This has also created a Xianggong Mountain that has basically no commercialization. It is a paradise for photography enthusiasts. It can be said that this must be the most beautiful scenery in Yangshuo.

We still need to climb a short mountain road to reach the top of the mountain. When we reach the top of the mountain, we slowly approach the observation deck. The scenery in front of us is refreshing. Looking down at the mountains, I can see clusters of mountains piled up and stretching continuously. The light and shadow make the peaks appear more three-dimensional. Looking down is the first bay of the Li River, which is very spectacular. The Li River is like a giant dragon shuttling through the mountains. The landscape in front of me couldn't help but press the shutter in my hand. The scene in the framing frame made me intoxicated. I sat on the seat by the observation deck and refused to leave for a long time. This was a rare and beautiful scenery. I put down the camera in my hand and looked into the distance. It's a blessing to feel the air on the top of the mountain, to be bathed in the sun, surrounded by mountains, and to be in nature.

Since other family members had already gone down the mountain, they were reluctant to part with them and also had some regrets. But next time I come to Yangshuo, I will definitely come again. The sunsets here are beautiful. Xianggong Mountain is really nice!

I got up early today and left before I even had time to eat breakfast in the hotel. The journey today will be quite long. I will have to go from Yangshuo to Longsheng and pass through Guilin City in the middle. After about two hours of leveling the road, the terrain slowly became higher and the car began to climb the long mountain road. This mountain road is somewhat similar to yesterday's Xianggong Mountain, but why would Master Li say that yesterday's mountain road was a piece of cake? Looking back, we will understand that because we got up a little early, we fell asleep at some point. When I woke up, the car was halfway up the mountain, and the village at the foot of the mountain was displayed in front of me like a toy. I realized that we had reached a very high position. Sure enough, the gate of Longji Scenic Area finally appeared.

But unexpectedly, this is just a ticket office. Our car can only park here and then take the scenic bus to reach the final scenic spot. I didn't expect that it took us three hours to drive before we just reached the foot of the mountain. This also adds a touch of mystery to Longji and makes me look forward to the next trip.

Taking the scenic bus, the truly exciting mountain road is about to begin. These mountain roads are just like the Qiumingshan Road, with sharp turns one after another. The road is extremely narrow. There is no room for two buses to meet at the same time. They must avoid the passing of vehicles on the opposite side before they can continue driving. When turning corners, they must also whistle to warn them. Only scenic bus drivers who have been driving here for a long time can drive such mountain roads. They immediately understood what Master Li said, which is really insignificant. In this way, we snaked all the way, circled upwards, accompanied by the sound of the gurgling stream, and finally arrived at the scenic cableway station.

The long journey was really not easy. I took a bus for nearly four hours, and it was almost noon. Seeing that the cableway line was quite long, I found a restaurant to rest for a while. Fortunately, we lived on the mountain today, otherwise it was not cost-effective to take a cableway up and take photos of our trip here. It was really not worth it to spend four hours going up the mountain and only playing on it for an hour before returning. Unless I came here early in the morning, I still recommend staying on the mountain for one night. There will be unexpected surprises waiting for you. In addition, if you travel by chartered car like us, I suggest you just bring your washing and changing clothes up the mountain easily, which can reduce the burden a little.

After another long wait for an hour, I finally got on the cableway, and victory was in sight. The journey was not easy, and I was a little tired physically and mentally, but the scene that followed couldn't help but cheer me up. As the cableway slowly rose, the true face of the Longji Terrace Mountain was finally revealed. Under the sunshine, the terraces seemed to be well-defined, and the rice had shown their edge. It was a golden patch. The ancient Yao people's hanging feet were built against the mountains, as if integrated with the terraces. This is the first time I have seen such a scene in my life, and I can't help but sigh that I have traveled long distances all day for this moment. It's a worthwhile trip!

This is perhaps the longest cableway I have ever ridden, and it is also the cableway with the most interesting process and the most beautiful scenery along the road. About twenty minutes later, we finally reached the top of the mountain. At this time, there were still many tourists on the top of the mountain. Seeing this, we decided to go to the inn first. After walking a mountain road, we arrived at the inn. The inn was built on a small hillside with a wooden structure on the outside. The three-story building, a typical Yao suspension building, walk to the balcony of the room, and large golden and green terraces will be displayed in front of you. In front of the beautiful scenery, the fatigue of the day will instantly disappear.

Putting down my luggage, I couldn't wait to rush to the Jinfoding Observation Deck. This was the best place to view the terraces. Looking down, I saw a valley surrounded by mountains. The terraces on the hillside were clearly layered and orderly, giving people a strong sense of visual impact. The major Yao villages are orderly distributed in the valley. Against the backdrop of the terraces, they appear very harmonious.

From time to time, I see fellow Yao villagers farming in terraces, and I can't help but sigh at the greatness of the creators of this terraces. It is the hard farming of the Yao people in past dynasties that created this wonder of the world. They overcame unfavorable natural conditions and built fields on the mountains, creating this magical land. They are the chief designers here, using the hoes in their hands to outline beautiful pictures. They are also the guardians of this place, maintaining the simplicity and harmony of this land.

There are not only magnificent terraces here, but also colorful auspicious clouds. In the afterglow of the sunset, they are particularly charming. Sometimes they emerge on the mountains and are majestic. All the beautiful scenery are gathered here and are beautiful.

After dinner, I was bored and decided to go out for a walk. At this time, the top of the mountain was silent, and I could clearly hear the cries of frogs in the farmland under the mountain. The whole top of the mountain was dark, and only the lights of the inn were vaguely visible. I groped with a flashlight and arrived at the platform. At this time, the terraces had been covered with mystery. I looked up. The sky was clear and cloudless and dotted with stars. I had not seen such a starry sky for a long time, and I was also full of anticipation for tomorrow's sunrise.

Before dawn, I went out with my camera and tripod on my back. No one should get up earlier than me. At this time, there was no light on the top of the mountain. I could only use a flashlight to move forward carefully and arrive at the Golden Buddha Top. Find the best position set up the camera and slowly wait for the red sun. However, the clouds on the hill in the east were getting thicker, and what I was worried about still happened. I felt that the sunrise was always missed. Whether it was Huangshan or Huashan, I had been passing by it and couldn't see the truth.

Just when I was disheartened, the clouds of clouds in the distance came into view. I saw the wind and clouds in the valley, like a river shuttling through the mountains. The winding mountains and the continuous clouds of clouds were perfectly combined to draw a beautiful scenery. At this time, the cableway was like connecting the mountains, without any sense of disobedience. I didn't see the sunrise, but I waited for such a spectacular mountain scenery, which made the trip worthwhile.

Longji is a good place. It is hidden in the mountains, isolated from the world, and retains a trace of mystery. There are beautiful scenery here and simple folk customs. I hope she can always be like this and not be disturbed by the secular world. I will come again next time!

Yao Mountain, the commanding height of Guilin City, is also a treasure of feng shui. Before this journey comes to an end, come here to overlook the entire Guilin City. To reach the top of the mountain, you need to take a cableway. The cableway here is open, which gives people the feeling of being immersed in the scene. Go straight up and when you reach the halfway point of the journey, look back and see a beautiful picture of mountains and rivers appear in front of you. The entire Guilin City has a panoramic view.

After arriving at the top of the mountain, go directly to the viewing platform and feel that the view is not as wide as sitting on the cableway. In fact, this is the best place to view the mountains. You can see the rolling mountains on top of each other, and the mountains in the distance are shining in the sun. It is particularly dazzling under the illumination and is particularly eye-catching surrounded by the surrounding mountains.

Travel is always so short. During the journey, you can enjoy many beautiful scenery, experience many philosophies, and feel the local customs and customs. Guilin is a beautiful city. It has mountains, water, and simple folk customs. It is a pure place and a paradise that is not disturbed by the secular world. Maybe when I am old, I will come here, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, stroll along the Li River, ride along the Yulong River, return to the embrace of nature, and slowly think about life. Maybe this is the life I yearn for most!

Guilin, look forward to our next meeting! Continue to draw magnificent pictures one after another!
